How to Invest £10k for MAX Return

In this YouTube video Rob Moore walks viewers through a step‑by‑step framework for allocating a £10,000 lump sum to achieve the highest possible return. He begins by urging viewers to assess their personal situation—whether the money is a last‑ditch lifeline or disposable capital, their risk tolerance, age, and existing expertise. He then outlines his own diversified allocation: 5‑10 % (£1k) into Bitcoin for high‑risk upside; a 1‑ounce gold coin (~£3k) as a store of value; about £1,500 in silver, which he argues is undervalued relative to gold; a few hundred‑pound Swatch/Omega watches as speculative collectibles; £2‑2.5k into a Vanguard LifeStrategy 100 Accumulator ISA for broad equity exposure to the S&P 500 and FTSE 100; and the remaining £2‑3k invested in himself—either through business marketing spend to generate qualified leads or through education, mentorship, or startup costs. He stresses that the single best investment is in oneself, noting that a well‑executed marketing campaign can yield 300‑1,200 % return on ad spend. Moore contrasts this long‑term diversified plan with a short‑term “gun‑to‑my‑head” competition scenario, where he would pour the money into a business marketing funnel for rapid profit. He also hints at how the allocation would scale with larger sums (20k, 50k, 100k) and mentions that property becomes viable at higher levels. Throughout, he promotes his upcoming Moneymaker Summit—a three‑day live event covering business scaling, tax‑saving strategies, AI, and precious‑metal investing—providing a link (robmoore.life/money) and describing ticket tiers and sponsor benefits. The video blends practical financial advice, entrepreneurial mindset, and event promotion.

How to invest 10 grand for maximum return. Now there's a few conditions and criteria we need to talk about, but I get asked all the time, hey Rob, how'd you invest 5 grand, 10 grand, 50 grand, 100 grand, 500 grand? I was doing Instagram voice memos this morning helping people, and I'm going to do a little series for you, and this is the first one. How to invest 10 grand for the maximum return. Now look, anyone can get their hands on 10 grand. You think you can't? Well, then you're just not getting resourceful enough. Um, now, um, I need to ask you a few questions first for you to think about, for you to best invest 10 grand. Because here's the thing, I don't know you, or if I do, I'm talking to my whole Facebook community. So number one is, this 10 grand, is it your last 10 grand and your only 10 grand ever, and like you really need to make this work or you're doomed? Or is it, you know, just a sort of a little bit of money that you could afford to lose? That's number one thing you might want to consider. The next thing is how aggressive or defensive are you with your risk, depending on maybe how young or older you are, or just, you know, maybe your experience. And, you know, do you feel like energized? And if you lose it, you can start again and again, or do you really need to make it work? Next thing is what experience do you have? I could say, hey, here's the best way to invest 10 grand. But if you have no experience in any of the things I say, but you've got a load of experience in another class, let's say art, and so you know more about art than anyone, then that would drive my, um, recommendation for you as well. Um, and there are a few other factors, but I don't want to labor the point. So the first thing is you've got to put into context your situation. And the questions I've just asked you. Okay, so what I'll do is I'll answer how I would invest 10 grand. Okay, so, um, I'd probably put about a grand, 10, 5 to 10% into Bitcoin. Um, for me, Bitcoin is still quite risky, certainly compared to FTSE, S&P, but it has got a good chance of going up a lot more than those. Now you might say, well, why wouldn't I put all 10 grand into Bitcoin? Because I think that's really stupid. A lot of people, um, and by the way, I wouldn't put the whole 10 grand into any asset class. Um, now some people say, you know, to make money you focus and then to grow the wealth you diversify. And there is some truth in that, but I'm assuming that this is an investment that you want the maximum return from, and I'm going to assume some diversification. You know, here's another thing, right? When you've got 10 grand to invest, there's this saying, how you do anything is how you do everything. And there's a saying that if you can't manage the money you've got, don't expect to get more. So I'd kind of like to help you invest the 10 grand as if it was a million or as if it was 10 million. 'Cause you know what, if, let's say we had a competition and we got 10 grand given to us and we had 30 days to get the maximum return, I probably wouldn't do what I'm about to tell you. 'Cause what I'm telling you here is more for the long term and more not just to make money on the 10 grand, but to teach you how to make money on 50 grand, 100 grand, 500 grand, a million. If you had a gun to my head and said, Rob Moore, 30 days, how'd you get the maximum return? In, um, with 10 grand, I'd say put it into your business to generate, um, high qualified leads. I use it for marketing. Give me 10 grand, within 30 days I could probably turn that into between 30 and 90 grand. If I, if I did really well or kind of had a bit of luck, I might be able to turn it into well over 100 grand. But I already have a business and I already know how to generate leads. If you don't have a business yet, you know, you might want to use some of that money to start a business. So that's how my answer might differ if I was challenged in a competition to make maximum money. The, the maximum return on any investment, it's not gold, it's not silver, it's not the stock market, it's not S&P 500, it's not FTSE 100, it's not property, it's not Bitcoin, it's not meme coins, it's not art, it's not watches, it's you. You are your best asset. Invest in yourself wisely, you pay yourself the best return. So with 10 grand, I'm investing in myself, i.e., what do I need to learn so that I can earn? And you know, what business could I launch, or what marketing could I spend to generate buying customers and buyers? Okay, so anyway, back. There's a lot, a lot more in this video than I planned. So of $10,000, I'm going to diversify it a bit because long term, that's the best way to get the most out of it. So I'm going to put a grand— I'm going to put a grand into Bitcoin just because I think it could go quite big. And if it doesn't, I've only lost a grand of the $10,000. Next thing is I'm probably going to buy a 1-ounce gold coin. So a Krugerrand or Britannia coin, 1 ounce, it's about $3,000 an ounce. So, what are we there about? We're just over 3 grand so far. Then I'm probably going to buy 1,500 quids worth of silver. Silver, I think, is really underpriced compared to gold. I think it's a great asset class because it has a lot more utility than gold. I know gold is like, it's God's money, but silver is used in batteries, has a lot more utility. Gold used to be 30 times the price of silver. Now it's about 90 times the price of silver. So that tells me that silver is quite underpriced compared to gold relatively. So, grand of Bitcoin, a 1-ounce gold coin, probably a Britannia because it's legal tender, it's at $3,000 an ounce, probably 1,500 quids worth of silver. So we're about 5 grand there. Okay, then what am I going to do? I'm probably going to buy a couple of the more rare Amiga Swatches. They might not go up, but, um, they're quite cheap and, um, you can use them. And if Amiga and Swatch stop doing their partnership, they could go up in the future. There are a few, few hundred quid each, so I'm probably going to buy a couple of those. So what are we at? At £5,500, something like that. Then I'm going to probably put a couple of grand, £2,500, into my ISA, probably use Vanguard LifeStrategy 100 Accumulator um, fund because it reinvests and it's performed really well. So I'm probably going to put 2, 2 and a half grand into my, um, ISA. So what are we, about 7 and a half, 8 grand, something like that? And then I'm going to use 2, 2 and a half grand to invest in myself, either get knowledge and education by learning on courses, trying to maybe get a, a mentor or someone to just help me, even if to pay them a few hundred quid a session and whatever. Whatever business I want to be in or whatever asset I want to become an expert in, I'm going to invest in learning about that. And if I have an existing business, I'm going to pump it into marketing. I'm going to try and generate, I don't know, a few hundred leads with the $2,000 to $3,000, which is possible, or even 50 really good qualified leads. And I'm going to hopefully have them buy my products and services. So my good friends, I know there's a lot in this. But that's how I would invest 10 grand. Now I'm going to do a how to invest 20 grand, 50 grand, 100 grand, 5 grand. I helped someone, I gave someone some tips on investing 2 grand, a million, you name it. I'm going to do a series. So if you want me to do more of this kind of content, make sure you're following me because you might not be. And please do share this because, you know, some, some of my critics say, oh, Rob, you know, everything's a bit negative at the moment. So, you know, I'm trying to be productive and proactive and positive, helping you get the most out of your money. So I wonder if you wouldn't mind sharing this as well. Okay. Quick summary then, cause I know I spoke fast. You've given me 10 grand, gun to my head, maximise the return in 30 days. I'm going to put it into marketing to start or scale my business to generate leads. Cause I can normally get a 300 to 1,200% return on ad spend normally. Not always, but I'm going to give that a go. Let's say though you want to invest, i.e., you don't want to start a business per se because you want more of a hands-off investment. You're never going to put all 10 grand into one thing unless it's like absolute pocket money to you. You're going to diversify it to protect it, to teach yourself how to invest, to grow it. So I'm probably going to put a grand into Bitcoin, probably going to put a couple— I'm going to try and get myself a 1-ounce gold coin. Just over £2,000. I'm going to put about £1,500 into silver, something like that. I'm going to buy a couple of Omega Swatches just because they're cheap and they could go up in the future, and I like them. I'm going to put a couple of grand into the S&P 500 and FTSE 100. The fund is called Vanguard LifeStrategy 100 Equity Accumulator. Or accumulation. So it reinvests the dividends. That's the name of the fund I'd, you know, by the way, of course you're going to do all your own research and diligence on this. It shouldn't, you know, how I'm telling you how I would best invest 10 grand. But you know what, if I'd probably, I'd probably take a competition against 99.9% of the population and I think I could beat them on how to invest 10 grand to get the maximum return. And then I'm going to put a couple of grand into the ISA. The independent savings allowance. This is using Vanguard Life Strategy. And whatever's left, I'm going to use it to invest in myself or my business. 2 to 3 grand, something like that. Now let's say you've got 20 grand, just double the amounts I've said. If you've got 50 grand, it changes. If you've got 100 grand, it changes. Because at 50 and 100 grand, property comes into play because you've got enough money for a deposit or two. So that changes when you get to that level. So let me know if this video was useful. And by the way, the best way to tell me that my content is useful is to share it, because I have 512,000 followers on Facebook.
