How to make cash in a market crash

In this YouTube monologue, Rob Moore argues that the current macro‑environment—shaped by Brexit, COVID‑19, rising taxes, wars, supply‑chain disruptions and soaring inflation—signals a recession that could deepen into a depression. He contends that traditional saving is ineffective (“cash is trash”) and that wealth must be built by learning, earning, and investing. Moore outlines seven concrete tactics: (1) treat cash as a liability and move it into income‑producing assets; (2) acquire investment knowledge, especially via his new 9‑module “How to Invest” series; (3) employ dollar‑cost averaging to spread purchases across time; (4) maintain liquidity and resourcefulness, either through cash‑like assets or by raising capital; (5) launch an online business—preferably a membership site—using low‑overhead digital models; (6) incorporate a company to offset expenses and defer tax; and (7) view the downturn as a buying opportunity for undervalued assets (stocks, crypto, real estate, gold, digital assets, etc.). Throughout, Moore repeatedly promotes his membership platform Rob.team, inviting viewers to join for the cost of a large coffee to access his courses and a “21 Ways to Monetize Social Media” masterclass. The overall message is that recessionary periods create the most millionaires, and by following his tactical roadmap and leveraging his paid content, viewers can capture that wealth.

How to make cash in a market crash. I actually wrote a book about this in the last recession of 2008. Now, before I give you some practical, tactical ways to cash in on a market crash, to leverage the opportunity— because more millionaires are made in recessions than other parts of the cycle through history. Before I give you these practical tools, we must be realistic about what's going on in the world, and I'm going to share what they are now. I ask you a question first, and the question is: do you think that there is a correction coming, a recession coming, or a depression coming? Correction would be somewhat small, recession would be somewhat bigger, and depression would be long and hard and deep. I would love your thoughts: correction, recession, or depression. Now, right now we are moving into recessionary times. Some even say we're already in a recession, but it's been a weird set of circumstances, lots of anomalies, what you might call, uh, um, a perfect shitstorm. Normally when you have a recession or a correction, it's triggered by one major event. For example, the banking crisis of 2008, or it could be a war, for example. But this time round, there have been multiple triggers, which is why I believe it could be longer and harder and deeper. Um, Katie has said, am I expecting a market crash? Absolutely I am. Nicola has said she believes there's a depression coming. So what are the factors that have caused, um, the lead into a recession? And then let me give you these practical tips. They'll be short, sharp, and implementable. So we had Brexit, which caused issues with trade and supply chains across borders. Then we had COVID and lockdowns, which caused massive issues, which you don't need me to tell you. Huge increase in taxation when they should have been reducing taxation. National Insurance went up, um, corporation tax went up. Wars between countries where other countries have subsidized billions, and sanctions and restrictions of supply chains, massive inflation, soaring cost of living, massive increase in food costs, raw materials, Gas, fuel, energy, you name it all, it's here, it's real. So do you think we're gonna have a correction, a recession, or a depression? And here are my practical tactical tips to cash in on a market crash, to turn it into an opportunity. So the first thing is you can't save your way out of this. You must invest and earn your way out of this. Cash is now trash. Your spending power is down 20 to 25%, I believe, since pre-lockdown, and your spending power is at its lowest since the Second World War. There's a few creators and commentators and experts telling you to save money, don't have lunches or coffees out, walk to work. That's never gonna cut it. It's nowhere near enough, and you're gonna have a crap lifestyle. Cash is trash. Get rid of cash. You can't save your way to wealth. You must earn and invest your way to wealth. Obviously, get rid of cash wisely. Don't just spray it around. Don't speculatively chuck it into an investment that's not proven. Be careful. That's why you must learn to invest, which is my number 2. Number 2 tip is to learn to invest. Protect your cash from inflation and quantitative easing and the governments, and put it into an asset, and that asset produces income. Stay with me to the end because I've got a little update on how to invest. I think you'll really love it. The third thing is when you invest in a recession, you need to pound cost average. And what that means is not buy one asset all at once in one go with all your money. You need to diversify into more than one asset, and you need to buy in at different times because we don't know if there's going to be a big crash or there's going to be what they call a double dip where it goes down and then up and then down and then up, or it might keep going up before it goes down. None of us can time that. So pound cost averaging is when you spread out how much you're going to invest over months or years rather than lump it all in to hedge against big drops. It's called pound or dollar cost averaging. The next thing, number 4, is you've got to be liquid and you've got to be resourceful. So liquid isn't just cash or savings. It could be money in the stock market you could get out within a week, could be money in crypto you could get out fast. Um, but it also means being resourceful, which means starting a business or raising finance from partners and investors. I'm agile and liquid in recessionary times. The next one is I believe you should start an online business. Why? It's faster, it's easier, and it's cheaper. You don't need stock, overhead premises, and loans. I believe the best business model Um, online is creating a membership site like myrob.team. Myrob.team just costs you a large coffee a month. I've just launched a 9-module, 10-hour how-to-invest series, but because I have thousands of members, makes me good money, and it saves you and makes you good money. So start an online business— social media, personal brand, courses, mentoring— much more agile, more liquid, lower cost. The next thing you need to do is you need to offset all your tax breaks. You must start a company. You must claim back all those expenses and offset a lot of your expenses against the tax. You can't do that as an employee because an employee, they tax you at source and you get what's left. As a business owner, you take all the money, you have a good accountant, you offset all your expenses and you give the government what's left. And look, I'm not against paying taxes, but I'm against giving the government all my money and then mismanaging it. So you need to start a company if you don't have one. I'm going to do a summary in a minute, but I said on my second part that you must invest and how to invest. To stay with me, and this leads me to my last point, which is there is massive opportunity for you to leverage right now. People are worried and scared about the economy and the recession and the government and the New World Order and the Great Reset and the increase in taxation and the soaring cost of living, and they should be concerned but not scared. But they can turn this into an opportunity. How? By buying underappreciated assets, starting businesses online and solving new problems, and getting— there's going to be chances to buy companies, to buy gold, to buy cryptos, to buy real estate, to buy stocks, to buy digital assets online, domain names, build a personal brand. Massive opportunity is coming as the market goes down, as money moves and flows to different places. So to summarize, you need to learn, earn, and invest. Learn to earn, earn, then invest, and then invest creates income, multiple streams of income. And this is the exact reason why I've just launched the brand new 9-part How to Invest series on my Rob.team platform. Now, my Rob.team platform will only cost you a large coffee a month. And when I say cost, I mean an investment. Save one coffee a day, put it into Rob.team, and you can access this 9-part, 10-hour how-to-invest series. But I'm not going to be selling this How to Invest series, and if I were, like I said, it'd be about £1,000 based on— or dollars— based on the time frame compared to my other courses. But I'm going to give it only for Rob.team members, and you don't have to pay for it. You only have to join the platform. And it just cost you a large coffee. You can cancel anytime. How to cash in on a market crash, how to make cash in a market crash, how to leverage the opportunity and do what millionaires do. More millionaires are made in recessionary times than any other time. So I was a bit close there, getting a bit excited. A bit close, a bit excited. Um, so here are my 7 ways. Number 1: cash is trash. You can't save your way to wealth. You must move your cash into investment, which is number 2. You need to learn, earn, and invest. So you invest into assets that produce recurring income. If that's something you don't know how to do, this is why I did the 9-part, 10-module, um, new course exclusively for rob.com. Members. I actually created this because everyone was asking me about it. I had no idea, I had no plan, no idea that was going to do this, no plan. But because I'm getting hundreds of new Rob.team members a week, like many hundreds, I created it for you. And to just to join, you just open a new page, just really easy, open a new window, type in Rob.team, follow the instructions. It's super quick, super easy. You can cancel anytime, it only costs you a large coffee, not thousands of pounds like most courses are. The third thing you need to do to cash in on a crash is to pound cost average and not put all your money in at once. But, um, as the market goes down, drip it in in phases. And you do the same when the market goes up as well, by the way. The fourth thing is you need to be liquid and resourceful. You either need to have your own money ready, or you need to be able to get money out of assets or other people's money, because there's going to be amazing buying opportunities in the crash. The The fifth thing is I recommend you start an online business, and I believe the best business model is a membership site. And if you join rob.team, which is my membership site, you can essentially copy it and just put your own content. So that would be a great reason to go now and join rob.team. R-O-B dot T-E-A-M. The next thing, and it's vital, number 6, you must offset all your tax breaks, which means you need a company so that you can claim back all those expenses and pay tax last. Because when you're employed, you get taxed at source and you get what's left, and the government take theirs first. Whereas when you run a company, you get the money and you offset your tax affairs, and then you pay them what's left. And that's how it should be. And then finally, you need to see the opportunity. You need to learn to earn, to invest, and then when you invest, you create multiple streams of recurring income, and then you reinvest that. So would you like to start a company? Would you like to start a business or scale a business? Would you like additional income streams or side hustles? Would you like to earn more money, increase your commissions, your wages, and your income streams? Would you like to create recurring income, multiple streams of income, digital online income? Because if you'd like any of that, one or all of those, you should join Rob.team right now. Open a browser, type in Rob.team. Join for the cost of a large coffee, you can cancel anytime. Get all of this brand new content, 21 Ways to Monetize Social Media, 9-module How to Invest series. I'll see you there. I'll put the link in the comments too. People are asking me to share the link. Someone has just said in the comments, buy low, sell high. Don't agree. Buy low, hold, die. Um, buy, hold, die is better than buy low, sell high. Buy, hold, die. That'll make you the most amount of money. Thanks for tuning in. I'm going to share the link in the comments now. I'll see you in Rob.team. And remember this: if you don't risk anything, you risk everything.
