“If Putin was a woman…” 🙄

Boris Johnson claimed Putin wouldn't have invaded Ukraine if he were a woman, blaming toxic masculinity. The presenter questions whether gender explains the war, noting many male leaders avoid conflict, and pivots to UK political failures like lockdown breaches and inflation.

If Putin was a woman. So this is a quote from Boris Johnson. Boris Johnson, uh, was speaking after the G7 summit in which, you know, many of the world leaders have got together and they've agreed to continue to finance the war between Ukraine and Russia, uh, and Boris Johnson, the UK Prime Minister— I'm going to quote what he said, and I'm going to ask you for your thoughts on this. If Putin was a woman, which he obviously isn't, but if he were, I really don't think he would have embarked on a crazy macho war of invasion and violence in the way that he has. If you want a perfect example of toxic masculinity, it's what he's doing in Ukraine. So this is our UK Prime Minister. Boris Johnson has said if Putin was a woman, he wouldn't have embarked on this crazy macho war of invasion and violence in the way that he has, and that this is a perfect example of toxic masculinity. So I love your thoughts on this. Now look, I'm going to talk in a moment about, um, maybe the serious side of the war and also going to give you an opportunity. I'm going to help you. But there are many male leaders in the world who wouldn't go to war. He does believe that we need more female leaders. Um, so where has he put this? He hasn't— I can't see it here. Um, oh yes, he said, um, Boris Johnson has called for more women in positions of power. Maybe. Let me know what you think. Do we need more women in positions of power? Here's the thing though, I think Boris Johnson needs to sort his own house out first. I think he needs to get his own house in order, because whilst I wouldn't call Boris Johnson a toxic male, I wouldn't say his leadership style is toxic masculinity, I certainly would say that at least the second and third lockdown were wrong. Having parties through lockdown, breaking your own rules was wrong. And the way that our country has been running into the ground with massive inflation and massive taxation, yet all these hundreds of billions financing wars and track and trace apps and written-off PPE equipment, etc. I'd certainly say I feel that we could do a better job leading our country. Now, Maura has said here he's absolutely right for once. Rick has said here it's a false narrative of toxic masculinity. I'm not really sure with Putin that it's got anything to do with him being male. You know, maybe we probably do need more female representation, I would say. But there's some crazy shit going on in all parts of the world, regardless of gender. Michael has said we need people in power chosen for their ability to do the job. But it just seems such a weird thing to say. Boris has said if Putin was a woman, which he obviously isn't, but if he were, I really don't think he would have embarked on a crazy macho war of invasion and violence in the way that he has. If you want a perfect example of toxic masculinity, it's what he's doing in Ukraine. I'm not sure that's giving toxic masculinity— I don't really like that label, honestly. I think toxicity is toxicity, whether it's male or female. I'm not sure it really has any— Putin is Putin. So let me know what you think in the comments. Now, there's a lot of crazy shit going on in the world, and NATO are pumping billions into Ukraine and continuing the financial sanctions on Russia. Forced Russia to default on loans for the first time in 40 years. Um, crazy stuff. This is going to push inflation up. This is going to push energy and fuel and food up. The NATO chief has said that the sanctions are a price worth paying. Because the world would be much more fragile if Russia win the war. Madness. Let me know what you think of all this in the comments. I would like to help you. I would like to offer solutions. Um, so just write toolkit in the comments and I'll share the link with you. Interesting here that, um, Sanya said Boris, stop patronizing women. Yeah, it did seem a bit I don't know, it's sort of the rhetoric to be seen to say, isn't it? Like work from home is the rhetoric to be seen to be said from companies and corporations, yet there are a lot of downsides of working from home. And, you know, Putin is Putin, doesn't really matter. He's not a woman, he never would be a woman, so it's complete hypothesis. And, you know, you do get more macho women and you do get more feminine men, and I'm not really sure this war has anything to do with gender. And how has he turned it to gender. But let me just tell you what he said. If Putin was a woman, which he obviously isn't, but if he were, I really don't think he would have embarked on a crazy macho war of invasion and violence in the way that he has. If you want a perfect example of toxic masculinity, it's what he's doing in Ukraine. But there are many male leaders across the world that would never instigate war. Just seems a bit of a random— is it another distraction? Is it more media headline manipulation? He is the master of spin. Let me know what you think in the comments. Very— just something, you know, a bit lighter, a bit more interesting, um, because, you know, unfortunately I've had to be the purveyor of lots of bad news recently. Massive soaring cost of inflation in prices, in food, in energy, in fuel, you know, over-government intervention in the form of massive taxation, lockdowns, etc. Crazy shit that's going on in the world, and that's why I've created this financial toolkit, these resources for you. So just write toolkit in the comments, toolkit, and I'll give you access to up to 20-odd ways to save half your salary in costs in this cost of living crisis. Two 90-minute video speeches that I did, recorded courses on starting and scaling a business and, um, creating multiple streams of income. Two or three other financial resources and a weekly email send of collated financial resources and information resources from me, all free, if you just write toolkit in the comments. It's funny, Nancy has said here, if Boris was a woman, imagine that. I'm just not sure in this instance that gender has anything to do with this. Um, Putin's Putin. Um, by the way, if Boris were good at negotiating, maybe the, the country would be in a better position. If Boris were good at focusing on sorting out the economy in the UK, maybe the UK would be in a better position. We could talk about lots of hypotheses and theories and rhetoric, can't we? Anyway, let me know what you think of Boris's comments in the chat. He said, if Putin was a woman, I really don't think he'd have embarked on this crazy macho war of invasion and violence. If you want the perfect example of toxic masculinity, it's what he's doing in Ukraine. Not really sure that's fair on most men, to be honest, because I don't think— I think 99.99% of men wouldn't engage in a war. Thanks for tuning in. Write toolkit in the comments if you'd like some free financial resources from me on an ongoing basis. And remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything.
