If You Don't Earn 400k You Should be ASHAMED

Rob Moore defends Grant Cardone's claim that earning less than $400,000 a year is shameful, arguing it's necessary for organic food, private schools, and family security. Moore shares his own story: £50,000 in debt at 27, earning £200 a week, until his father's 2005 breakdown pushed him to change. He sells his Money Mastermind University as the path forward.

of what I'm about to tell you. Now, society will have you believe that this is okay and it's nothing to be ashamed about, and it's even not that important. You know, things like your well-being and, you know, your, your mental health and participating, these are important. But I can tell you the deepest shame in my life Well, it came from two areas, and one of them I'm going to share here. And society has got very woke and soft and entitled and is making out that it's not important. Now, my friend Grant Cardone got a huge amount of hate because he said if you earn under $400,000 a year, then you should be ashamed of yourself. And he got a massive amount of hate for that. Of people, you know, saying that he was a greedy capitalist, entitled, judgmental. What about all the, you know, the third world poverty that is going on in, in the world? And I think everyone missed the point, and I think he had a good point. And I will be doing a reaction video to this, because if you can't make enough money to feed your family well, i.e., good healthy organic food which can help them live long, and good healthy supplementation, which by the way, we probably spend near on 7 to 10 grand a month just on food. You know, my wife's in her mid-40s, she's, you know, has to take a lot of supplementation. Um, I, I a bit less, but, um, you know, all the organic foods are so expensive nowadays. Let's say you want to be healthy and well, so maybe you want to have a few holidays a year. Well, you know, even a shitty holiday now is 5 grand. Um, you know, maybe you want to put your kids through a nice school where they're not going to get beaten up, where they're going to get a proper education. Well, that could be £70,000 a year. Well, 2 kids through a good school, £70,000 net is £150,000 gross. So I actually agree with Grant Cardone, if you're not earning hundreds of thousands of pounds a year, you probably should be ashamed that you are not looking after your family and your legacy properly. And that is what I am ashamed about. And so before you have a go at me and troll me that I'm being disrespectful and judgmental, I am ashamed of myself that in 2005 I was £50,000 in consumer debt. I had credit cards on credit cards on credit cards and car loans for cars that I'd sold and still had to pay the loan on. My mum and dad helped me buy my first car and buy my first house and put me through private school and put me through university, and they subsidized this all all for me. And they sacrificed their own life, their own health, their own well-being to raise children who had a decent start in the world. And what did I do? I was living with them age 26 in their pub, paying no rent because I couldn't afford it, earning £200 a week and spending £300 a week and £50,000 in consumer debt. And I wasn't ashamed enough back then. I should have been disgracefully, disgustingly ashamed of myself. Because it's only really that, that deep feeling of shame and that you're not enough and that you're not doing enough and that you're letting your family and other people down. It's only really that that's going to make you fully change the direction of your life. So, um, when people say to me, oh, Rob Moore, you know, your life was your life and you shouldn't change anything because you wouldn't be where you are now if it weren't for that, well, I'd have been where I am now younger. If it wasn't for that. My dad put me through a good school. He taught me to be an entrepreneur at age 6. He supported me in every venture. I wanted to be a pro golfer, he backed me. You know, I wanted to go to a good school, he backed me. I wanted a nice house, he backed me. And I had every opportunity, probably age 15 to 23, to start my own business, to get into property, you know, to be an entrepreneur, to take control of my own life. And because things were too easy and I was too entitled and I thought the world owed me a living and I thought millionaires were greedy, evil capitalist bastards, and because I had all these horrible beliefs, I became bitter and twisted and there was not enough shame. And then when my dad had his nervous breakdown on December 15th, 2005, in front of all of his customers in his pub and got beaten up and arrested by the police and sectioned and diagnosed with bipolar disorder, And, you know, we nearly lost him. It was only then I felt the intense shame looking at my dad being beaten up by the police, having a, you know, the biggest nervous breakdown mental health episode I've ever seen. I mean, it, you know, some people think they've got mental health issues just because they've had a bad day, or they think they're depressed because they're not feeling very good or they're feeling sad. Now, I know there are a lot of people who have genuine issues, don't get me wrong, but I saw genuine issues with my dad from 35 years of hard graft doing 17, 18-hour days. I know the difference between feeling sad for a couple of days because you've not got a good internet connection versus actual proper mental health issues. And this is going to sound a bit brutal to some of you, but this isn't brutal because I've lived this myself. So I'm not just here preaching and shaming on you because I've had a privileged life. In fact, the privileged part of my upbringing was my biggest failing. The privileged part of my upbringing was what got me to 50 grand in consumer debt and what got me living with my mum and dad age freaking 27, not supposed to be an adult. Basically, I was a 27-year-old in nappies, and I'm ashamed of that. And, you know, I would change that. I would start my business when I was 18 or 15 or 21 when I had a chance. I would go back and get into real estate at 18 when I could have done, because I might have been a billionaire by now. I'd certainly be a lot further ahead, and we only have one life. And that's what I'm ashamed about. And so I support Grant Cardone when he says you should be ashamed. If, you know, you're not earning enough to give your family and your kids a good life, not just an average life, but a good life. And here's the thing no one understands. Grant Cardone says you'd be ashamed if you're earning $400,000, you know, or less a year. But in pounds, that's what, £300,000 and a bit? And then when you take the tax off, it's £150,000. And then when you take tax on everything you buy, and then when you add your school fees and your holidays and everything else, you're left with nothing. People need to wake up. You know, you can't live on 30 grand a year anymore. You can't even get by. And I'm ashamed of this. And this is why when lockdown happened, I actually reduced, um, the price of my, um, digital financial freedom platform Rob.team to virtually free. You know, you had to pay a decent amount of money a month to join my program because there's hundreds of hours of courses, resources, and masterclasses to make, manage, and multiply money, build multiple streams of recurring income, and start and scale your business. And you had to pay a reasonable amount of money. But when lockdown happened, I thought, well, I'm going to support people and do what I can, and I'm going to make it virtually free. Now, the thing is, I can't make it free because free advice is worth every penny. And just like when you're given a book for free, you don't read it. And when you download something on the internet for free, you don't, you don't read it, you don't watch it. So free advice is worth every penny, but when you pay, you pay attention. But Rob.team, my digital financial freedom platform, costs less than 20 pence a day. I've still kept the massive price reduction since lockdown to help you. I will be putting it back up. So if you'd like to make, manage, and multiply more money, start and scale your business, build multiple streams of recurring income, I recommend you join Rob.team right now. I'm waiting for you right now. Woo! Uh, hundreds of hours— I just knocked my phone off there— hundreds of hours of courses, resources, and masterclasses to make, manage, and multiply money, build multiple streams of recurring income. To start and scale your business, to build passive income, to get your tax bill down and your income streams up. To join is really easy. Sorry, you've got to have a close-up of my face there. Um, just go and type rob.team now into any web page. Um, I've shared the link, but, um, I think you'll need to type it in. So if you go and type in r-o-b dot t-e-a-m right now— do it now, don't Don't wait, do it now. Your life is waiting. That's the only thing that's waiting. You should take action now. When all is said and done, more is said than done. I can see the numbers dropping, which means people are going. So type in Rob.M. If you join right now, I've got a special gift for you because I am pissed off with the government and the, you know, the system. As you know, I rant about it a lot. And instead of just ranting, I decided to actually do something positive and try and change the world. And people have said to me, Rob, you should, you know, you should change the school system. You should be in politics. Nothing's going to change, not even with anti-Rob. But what I can do is set up my own educational platform. So I have launched a 12-module, 16-hour Money Mastermind University. What the banks don't want you to know, what your parents couldn't teach you, and what the school system just doesn't want you— the banks and the governments control the school system and they want to teach you to be indoctrinated to pay taxes and interest and get in debt. Whereas I've created my own Money Mastermind University to teach you what the banks know, how you can make money like the banks do, but do it ethically. Natasha said Rob.team is great value, so you can get that completely for free instead of paying the £700 launch price when I sell it. And the reason I can give it to you for free is because it's recorded, so it's not going to cost me any extra overhead cost. This will be done for a limited time, obviously, because then I'll be selling it. So just type in Rob.team. TEAM. Um, hundreds of hours of courses, resources, and masterclasses to make, manage, and multiply money, build multiple streams of recurring income. Um, Alfred has said, does it cover third world country opportunities? As long as you can get an internet connection, um, there's probably 8 or 9 really leverageable business models that don't need stock, don't need staff, don't need any fixed costs, don't need any loans, don't need any premises that anyone can do, even if you're 15. Or you're 85, because I pick the business models that are low cost, high speed, low friction, fast startup. Like, I don't like the get rich quick, I like to get rich for, for real, get rich long, get rich deep. Um, but there are ways you can make money in the next 30 days, and I teach them in Rob.team. And there's what, totaling including founder members, nearly 10,000, 9,600 and something members like you. Movers, shakers, game changers, changemakers. Go and join right now. Type in rob.team, claim your special bonuses, claim the, um, lockdown discount offer that I haven't put back up yet. Um, I really should. It's nearly 5 years since. Summary then is you should be ashamed if you're not making the money that you want to make. It doesn't make you a bad person. It's not judgment, it's just shame And guilt and envy and jealousy and frustration and anger are brilliant emotions to move you forward, to change the direction of your life. And actually, you know, when I think about what changed the direction of my life, it was the shame and the guilt and the self-loathing of being £50,000 in debt and my dad having his massive nervous breakdown. And I'm feeling like I'm responsible for it because, you know, he gave me everything at his expense and I gave him nothing back. Now, of course, things have changed and I've retired my dad and I've retired my mum and I got them a house and I got them a car. And, you know, I'm giving back now. But that was only when I tapped into that shame. And so all these people hating on Grant Cardone for saying you should be ashamed if you're not earning £400,000 a year. Well, £400,000 gross is £200,000 net. And then from dollars to pounds is £150,000. And then you take away school fees and food and travel. You've not got a lot left. So I actually agree with him. And all the people hating on him probably in reality aren't making the money that they want. And there's nothing wrong with being money focused. You know, society is telling us it's wrong to be money focused. It's greedy to be money focused and, you know, shaming all the billionaires and the big corporate, you know, monoliths. Well, you're not a big corporate monolith. You're just an ordinary human. But money is what makes the world go round. Money is our universal exchange of value. Money is how you value what you give and create to the world. It's a measure of your usefulness. It's a way to get what you want. So what's wrong with being money focused? Nothing at all. And you should, you should probably be more money focused. Not in a mercenary greedy kind of way, but in an I owe it to my family, I owe it to my legacy, I owe it to myself. I really do. You know, by the way, you know, if you want to live long, best way is to be rich. Because, you know, over history, the thousands of years, the people who live the longest were the richest. Why? Because they could afford the good doctor, they could afford the good healthcare, they could afford, you know, to immunize and inoculate themselves from wars and diseases. And it's the same, it's the same right now. You know, the rich people aren't on the front line fighting the wars, are they, in these, you know, horrible wars that are going on? It's the poor people on the front line. Not judging, by the way. People all hate me for judging. This is not a judgment. I've got your back, but you have to have your own back. And joining Rob.team is the way to not just invest in me, but invest in yourself, because 'You're not going to make me rich on 20p a day. It's only 2 cups of coffee a month.' Could make you rich though. Are you prepared to make that change? When all is said and done, more is said than done. To know and not to do is not to know. So do not be ashamed of wanting to make a lot of money and be ashamed that you're not living to your full potential and use that shame to be useful and valuable and wealthy and successful. Because by the way, I just gave some of my and 300 grand Aston Martin. I just said you couldn't just have it for as long as you want. Couldn't do that if I was broke. He probably wouldn't want a 30-year-old Ford Fiesta. So you can do a lot more when you're wealthy. So I'll see you in rob.team. Just type in rob.team and there's loads of bonuses and hundreds of hours of courses, resources, and masterclasses. It's basically a money club, but the stuff you don't get taught in schools, the stuff your parents didn't know, the stuff the banks don't want to teach you. On making, managing, or multiplying money, building multiple streams of recurring and passive income, uh, starting and scaling a business, getting your tax bill down and the amount of income streams that you generate up, and the amount of money that you make up. See you in Rob.team. And remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything.
