If You Earn Under 400 Grand You Should Be Ashamed

In this monologue, the speaker reacts to Grant Cardone’s claim that anyone earning less than £400,000 a year should be ashamed. He breaks down a £400k gross salary in the UK, showing that after income tax it drops to roughly £180‑£220k, and after accounting for private school fees, mortgage costs, inflation, and other living expenses the net disposable income can fall below six figures. He argues that the real problem is not the gross figure but the high tax burden, positioning tax reduction as the most effective way to improve financial freedom. The speaker then promotes his digital platform, Rob.team, describing it as a low‑cost (≈£0.20 per day) membership that offers courses, masterclasses, and mentorship on building multiple income streams, scaling businesses, and legally minimizing tax. He emphasizes the platform’s pricing, bonuses (free access for under‑18s), and his mission to educate millions about wealth creation, while urging viewers to join immediately, share the video, and comment on their net income calculations.

If you earn under £400,000 a year, you should be ashamed of yourself. Now, trigger warning, this will upset some people. You have been warned. Oh, and by the way, I didn't make this statement, but someone did, and he got— he went viral and was exposed for, um, his elitist and disrespectful attitude towards a lot of people struggling for money. Um, I have a take on this, so before you shoot me down, it wasn't me that said you should be ashamed of yourself if you earn under £400 grand a year, but the internet went wild and said it was a disgrace that someone should say this, and I'm actually going to support this. Here's why. If you earn £400,000, do you know what that is after tax? Let me know in the comments if you know what it is. It's likely to be about £180,000 to £220,000. So £400,000 is now £200,000, just like that. Then, would you like your kids to have a good education? Give me a yes or no in the comments. Uh, so in my local area, the good schools are 50 to 70 grand a year for 2 kids, and that is just the school. That's not the after-school activities, the uniforms, you know, the extra sessions that you give them. So let's just call it 70. Do you know what that is before tax? Probably 140. So you've got 400 down to 200 down to 60. Well, all right, let's give them the benefit of the doubt. Let's just take the tax off. 400 down to 200 down to 130 that you're left with if you want your kids to go to a nice school and the tax you legally have to pay, otherwise you'll be in prison. So you've got £130,000. Do you need a mortgage on a house with interest rates 6-ish percent? So your mortgage is going to be 8%. Even a shitty house, that's going to cost you thousands a month. Running a car, living, heating, eating. When you work it out, £400,000 is not even a six-figure salary. There's not a lot left. And I'm sorry to say this, But this is actually true. Now, okay, could you buy a cheap car, you know, rent and rent in a really small place and never go on holiday and eat the cheapest food? Yeah, you could. And you could earn less. But do you want to live like that? Do you want inflation to wipe out the value of your money so every year you're earning less? Interest rates going up so every year you're repaying more? Do you actually want to live like that? You probably don't. Like, just being real with you. So I agree with Grant Cardone, and I'm going to get a load of hate for this, but fuck it. I would rather have hate for telling the truth than be liked for being weak. So you should, you should at least be concerned if you're not earning £400,000 gross a year. Because net, net, after some basic things that you want, you're not even on a six-figure. You might even be 30 to 60 grand in living expenses a year. So there's two ways to beat this trap. Number one is to significantly earn more, and number two is to pay significantly less tax. Now, the problem with earning more is you're paying away to inflation, and you're just paying the government even more because they take half of it before you even get it when you're employed. However, there's one small change that you can make, which means you pay yourself first and you pay tax last, and you can get your single biggest expense down by a long way. Now, people think their single biggest expense is their mortgage or their divorce or, you know, their school fees or their car loans or whatever. No, no, no, no, not even close. Not even a divorce will cost you as much as tax. So actually, the way around this, yes, is to earn more, but it's a bit of a trap because you end up paying the government a load more and inflation just wipes it. The secret is to get your tax bill down. So if you'd like to get your income streams up, yes, to hit a good level, but also get your tax bill down, I recommend you join Rob.team. Rob.team is my digital financial freedom platform to help you start and scale a business, make, manage, and multiply more money, build multiple streams of recurring income, get your earning up, yes, and the amount of income streams that you make up, yes, but importantly, getting your tax bill down, paying yourself first and paying tax last. There are hundreds of hours of courses, resources, and masterclasses in Rob.team waiting for you. Right now. It's really easy to join. There's virtually no risk. It costs less than 20 pence a day. It's basically free, and that's 2 cups of coffee a month. You can cancel anytime. There's no ongoing contract. So here's what you do to join. You just type in rob.team. It's as simple as that. Just— you can't click on the link here. You're going to need to open a web page. Actually, you may be able to click on the link, but anyway, click on the link or open a web page and type in rob team. I've interviewed my accountant who's helped me save millions in tax. That masterclass is available in rob.team. We teach you to start and scale a business so you pay yourself first and you pay tax last. There's probably 7 main modern income streams that are high-speed, low-cost, high-margin, and that anyone can start working from home. And hundreds of hours of courses, resources, and masterclasses going back since before lockdown. Now, and when lockdown happened, I significantly reduced the price of Rob.team to be virtually free. You know, 20 pence a day is virtually free. I actually haven't put it up because, you know, I did that to help as many people get through lockdown and the difficulties that most business owners and people were having. I haven't put the price up since. I will put the price up soon. So if you want to join before the old price goes back up and it's significantly more— like, I'm talking probably 4 times more— go and join right now by typing in rob.team. Go do it while you're listening, then come back, then let me know in the comments when you're in. Because Grant Cardone went on record and said, if you're not earning more than £400,000 a year, you should be ashamed that you're not making enough money for your family. And he got absolutely wild ridicule and hate for that, but I agree with him. I'd probably say it in a slightly different way, but the thing is, £400,000 is not £400,000. 400 grand is 200 after tax. It's 130 after the tax you paid to pay your private education, which then you've got to take off as well, and you're not left with much. And then you've got inflation and the soaring cost of living and the soaring cost of heating and electric and food and rent and the interest rates going up. It's just a fact now. The value of money has gone down a lot since lockdown, and the expenses and costs have gone up a lot. Since lockdown, and interest rates have gone up a lot since lockdown, and there's probably going to be VAT on school fees when you, um, when Labour come in. And all this stuff is real, by the way. So what you need to do— this is a quick tip here, you need to write this down— you need to work out what you need net, not gross. Because you might look at your salary and think 80 grand, 120, 55, it's not bad. I'm going— but the problem is each extra 10 grand you earn, you're giving away more than half to the government before you even get it. So you need to work out your net amount, not your gross amount. And there's not a lot left out of 400 grand. And yeah, the other option, well, just live really meekly and humbly like a little hamster. All I need is my little hamster wheel and all I need is enough food to fill my pouches and I'm just gonna live in this hamster cage for the rest of my life. That is another option, but who wants to fucking live like that? And this is why I brought the price of rob.team right down when the lockdown happened, to give as many people on this planet access to information to help you start and scale a business, make, manage, and multiply money, get your tax bill down and your income streams up. There's hundreds of hours of courses, resources, and masterclasses on these subjects, including interviews with my accountants, including money mentors who are multi-millionaires helping you in the 7 best business models for this year and beyond to make faster, easier, lower setup cost, higher speed money that anyone can do from the internet as long as you have the internet. And I will raise the price soon because it's been 4 years since I've raised the price. Now get this, if you're not yet on Rob.team, what are you waiting for? Maybe you're waiting for this. My mission is to help as many people on this planet get better financial knowledge. And I'm not stopping at that mission. I've now got 3.3 million followers on my social media and on my customer list. And I'm just starting. I'm 45, I've been doing it 20 years, I'm just warming up. And I will not shut up until I'm dead, until 10 million, 100 million, or a billion people have been helped, because we all have a right to leverage the amazing resources on this planet and have money and wealth. Everyone is deserving of wealth. So because of that, I don't think the school system teaches you how to be wealthy. I think it teaches you to be a pawn in the system and to be consumed by them. So I did my own university degree. Now of course it's the Rob Moore one, it's not the school system one, so I can speak freely. And I teach how to build personal wealth. And there's 12 modules and 16 hours of content on how to make, manage, and multiply private personal wealth. And exposing the system and how they make money out of you so you can make money the way they make money out of you. Now no school is going to accept this, so it's only in my school, which is rob.team. So that'll be £700 when I launch that, which I think is a bargain price compared to the six figures you can pay at school and university. But if you join rob.team right now, it's actually in there and I'll give you it for free. I can do that because it's recorded already and because I haven't quite yet sexed up the thumbnails and the editing to make it a nice package course. So jump in right now, um, and go and grab this as a special bonus, um, because this is something that I won't be offering forever and it's something that I think the world really needs. So just type in rob.team— rob.team— rob.team into any web page. Go do that now, get these special bonuses, and before the prices go up. And there's even more. If you have a child or children, all kids always go free in Rob Moore. So anyone under the age of 18 is always going to get free education from me. You just have to give them your login. What more can I offer? What more could you ask for? For less than 20 pence a day, cancel anytime, no ongoing contract. So just open a webpage, type in rob.team. I'll see you there. Because the reality is that Grant Cardone was right, even though he got massive shame. He said if you earn under 400 grand a year, you should be ashamed of yourself. Now, I wouldn't say it quite like that because it's hard because the system isn't set up for you to do this. Being an entrepreneur is easy, or at least you You're way more likely to make that money as an entrepreneur than you are as an employee, which is what Rob.team teaches you to do. But 400 grand is not 400 grand, because you take the tax off for your earnings, it's 200 or less. Then you've got to take, if you want school fees, you've got to take the tax of that off and that off. Then the interest on your loans and the cost of living and everything else. 400 grand disposable probably leaves you with 60, which is nothing. And so in that regard, I think he's right. What do you think? Let me know in the comments. If you like my content, please share it, because as you can see, people aren't getting notified of my lives anymore. They're saying this, um, I've got 404,000 followers and I've got 84 on this live. People aren't getting notified of my lives, which means either Facebook is dying, no one's on it, or then they're restricting my reach, or they're playing some other algorithm game of maybe wanting us to pay for reach. I don't know. But, um, if you agree with what I'm saying, please do Share this on social media because we all have our right to free speech and to express ourselves. I'll see you in Rob.team, and remember this: if you don't risk anything, you risk everything. Let me know what you think in the comments.
