I’m Ashamed to Say This…

Rob Moore built 340 rental properties and 19 bestselling books, then spent years ranting about politics for social media attention. He's ashamed of the detour and is refocusing on entrepreneurship and financial education through his platform Rob.team.

So I'm ashamed to say this. I've been drawn into something I used to refuse to be drawn into. Sorry, I got you a bit close there. And I want to be very honest with you about how I'm owning this and how I think maybe you can maybe get your own lessons in this. So before this shame arose— by the way, this shame started in March 2020. So maybe you can have a little guess about what you think this shame might come from. But before March 2020, I basically just— I saw my responsibility in my life to focus on what I could control. So that would be my own personal development, that would be my own business, that would be entrepreneurship, that would be solving my own problems. And I got very good at not getting involved in stuff outside, in the peripheral. Because, you know, I learned some valuable things through personal development. You know, you can't control what other people think about you. And, you know, if you stop and take a shot at every dog that barks at you, you'll never get to your destination. And what people think about you is none of your own business. And all of these things. And every year from probably 20 2007 to 2020, our growth felt quite exponential, and I felt like most of the things I did became very successful. And I have 340 property rental units. I've written 19 bestselling books on money and business. We've got 14 companies. We hit— we almost got to— we got over $20 million a year in sales, almost $25. And then when 2020 happened, I got sucked into two things. One was politics, and two was the social media algorithms. And I had a rule: no relationship advice, no religion, and no politics. That would be the areas I will not talk about. This is not my wheelhouse. I am not the guru. And because of lockdown 2020, so March 2020 lockdown, how could you not get sucked into politics because of how our human rights were really affected by lockdown and how business and entrepreneurship was completely disrupted? And so what I started to do was talk a lot about things outside of my control. By the way, I've got tens, if not hundreds of millions of views from it. So then that linked to the second thing that I did that I now feel, you know, some shame towards, which is I was really pissed off with the system. I started ranting about what I thought was wrong and a violation of human rights. And then the algorithm rewarded me for that. By the way, now it punishes me for that. So isn't that ironic? The algorithm was like, yeah, millions of views. And then I got pulled into the algorithms and talking about things which ultimately I can't control. So I don't know if you vote, by the way. Do you vote? Um, I know that could be quite a personal question, but I decided not to vote this year because I don't believe in any of them. I do not believe in any of them, so I decided not to vote. And some people will say to me, oh well, Rob, you should vote. And if, you know, I sometimes say to people, you know, you need to vote with your feet. And if you want something to change, you need to take responsibility. So I understand that there's some paradox or irony there. But the reason I chose not to vote is because none of them are any good. They're all marketers. They're all just telling stories to get you to vote. None of the policies will probably change. And I sprayed a load of my fucking energy from 2020 to now on all this shit they did. And what did it— what did it do? What changed? How did I make an impact? Now, I do think I helped many millions of people through this time. And, you know, the areas where I did focus on business and entrepreneurship and solutions— I'm probably being a bit unfair on myself. I've reduced Rob.team price down by 80%. I let kids go in for free. I did content for kids on money all through lockdown. So I did turn it into doing some good, but I definitely got fucking distracted. By the way, let me know in the comments, did you get distracted by politics? Are you still distracted by politics? Now, if I have an instance where I can make a decision that directly affects me or you, then I will do something about it if I can control that situation. So I am ashamed to say that I allowed myself to get distracted by a A, politics that I can't control, and B, the algorithms. And it was rewarding. If I had the algorithm, it's like your crack dealer, because the algorithm is now punishing me for what it rewarded me for. That's like marriage. How can the algorithm now punish me for the very things it gave me millions of views on? It makes no fucking sense. And it can send you a bit freaking into an existential crisis. So here is my commitment to you, and I wonder if you want to make this commitment too. My commitment is I will focus on what I can control, which is giving you a good quality of information on business, entrepreneurship, and money. Now occasionally I'm going to have to have a rant about some shit outside of that because it's important, but 80% of my content that you're going to get is business, entrepreneurship, and money. And I'm going to focus on, you know, the elements that I can control and the elements that you can control. And I'm going to encourage you to do the same because it's time now. Like, who fucking cares whether it's Conservative or Labour? None of them are going to do a decent job because we're in massive government debt. The country has been fucked and it's going to take decades to unfuck it. So here's what I'm going to do. I am going to watch on the things that might impact you and me. And then I'm going to look at solutions when they actually fricking happen and not spend so much time getting distracted by it all. And I feel some sense of shame that I allowed that to happen. But I can also say to the governments and the central banks and the system that they've caused us a lot of fucking shit over the last 4 years. I think also the reason I did it is because I thought to myself, if I don't speak out, I will regret that. And if I don't speak out, you probably won't speak out. So if I want to be kind to myself and give myself a bit of love to get rid of the shame, I'd probably say good on me for speaking out and taking risks and risking being canceled and deplatformed and everything else. Woo-hoo, great, you know, good, pat yourself on the back. But still, I have had enough and I am now focusing on what I can control, what you can control, what makes you money, what gives you a better lifestyle, what helps you towards freedom, choice, and profit, what helps you make, manage, and multiply more money, what helps you start and scale a business, what helps you get your tax bill down, what helps you get your income streams up, what helps you build recurring and passive income, and everything else in politics and algorithms can go fuck itself. That's my commitment to you. So if you like the idea of all of that, I recommend you join Rob.team. Rob.team is my digital financial freedom platform to help you start and scale a business, make, manage, and multiply money, build multiple streams of recurring income. And there are hundreds of hours of courses, resources, and masterclasses to build your income streams up. And get your fucking tax bill down. So I recommend that you join. Um, I would type into any web page now rob.team. The link is r-o-b dot t-e-a-m. Rob.team. And there's already hundreds of hours of courses, resources, and masterclasses going back more than 5 years. There's an 80% discount. I dropped the price by 80% when lockdown happened to help everyone get financial education for virtually free. And I haven't put it up yet. It's been 4-odd years. I'm going to have to obviously put it back up to its normal price soon. It's that— that makes it less than 22 pence a day. So anyone can afford it. And I want to get this global now because I want people who need the financial education the most to be able to afford my education. Because they're not going to be able to afford my mentoring at £48,000 plus that, or my mastermind at £25,000 plus that. But anyone can afford this. It's less than 2 cups of coffee a month. So if you now go to rob.team— rob.team— type that in, join at no risk because you can cancel any time, no ongoing contract, and you can gain instant access to hundreds of hours of courses, resources, and masterclasses. To make, manage, and multiply money. Because that— I mean, I've been doing that in the background for years, but I'm going to double down on this now. And I'm going to be less political, um, and less algorithm whorish. And I'm just going to be belligerent on business, entrepreneurship, money, finance. Uh, so for example, here are some courses in rob.team that you can get access to now, free— well, with your rob.team membership. Without having to pay for them separately. The fastest ways to make $30,000— $10,000 in the next 30 days. Give me a yes in the comments if you'd like to make $10,000 in the next 30 days. There are 12 main ways I know that are practical that anyone can do, even if they've got no real money. And there's a 75-minute masterclass and a manual step-by-step document that comes with it. Instant access. How to hit $100,000 in the next 3 to 6 months. Training manual, um, how to make recurring and passive income of £10,000 a month every single month. Training manual, it's all in rob.team. Um, so that is my commitment to you. I can control my own thoughts, and I want them to become more positive and less pissed off about the governments and central banks. Um, I can control how much money I make, and so I'm going to make sure that my company is lean and fast and agile I can control the service and the quality of content I'm going to give to you, and I'm going to make that a bit more focused than I made it in the last 4 years. Um, I cannot control governmental policy, which party is in power, the algorithms. So they can all go fuck themselves. That is my commitment to you, and I feel a sense of shame that I didn't make this decision earlier. Um, have you experienced anything similar? Have you got drawn into politics? Has what's gone on in the world really upset you and pissed you off and distracted you? Because if you think about it, it's our livelihood. So again, if I was being kind to myself, it's our fucking livelihood. The police is fucked, the NHS is fucked, the roads are fucked, my town centre is fucked, there's so many homeless people, everything's so fucking expensive, you can't pay cash anywhere. It's all fucked, but you can't change anything while you're in that state of outward locus of focus. So it's now the focus of locus is going, uh, non-hocus-pocus and inside. So I think your first step is to commit to your financial education, and the best place to do that is in rob.team, because, you know, most schools or universities will cost you tens of thousands Do you know the record student debt is $250,000 or $256,000? Someone got a quarter of a million dollars in debt to be indoctrinated and propagandized by the system. How long is it going to take them to earn a job, in a job, to earn that money back? They're in debt for the rest of their fucking life. They are a slave to the system. And I don't— I want the opposite of that for you. So that's why Rob.team is for entrepreneurs, startups, scale-ups, people who want to get financial freedom. People don't have control of their own money. People who don't want to give it all away in tax. So recommend you join Rob.team. By the way, I've got a couple of special bonuses in there right now. So number one is I did an online course. It's— well, it's more like a kind of like university, but from a real-life entrepreneur, not theorists. It was 12 modules, 16 hours, I believe. Make Managing and Multiplying Money. It's like It's like a degree in finance, but from a real entrepreneur. I'm going to sell that for about £700 as an online course. I think it's a good deal for 16 hours of me. But it's actually in Rob.team right now. And the reason it's in there is because we're adding the thumbnails and just tidying it up into its modules. If you go and join Rob.team right now, you can get that for free before I take it out. And the next thing is your kids can go free. So you can share your login with your kids and all kids under the age of 18 will always go free. And coming soon, there's going to be a financial education for kids homeschooling, um, kind of series. So lots of special benefits and bonuses. Natasha says Rob Moore has so much value. Christian is in. Um, really appreciate you all. Thanks for tuning in. So I'm ashamed to say I got drawn into politics and algorithms, and I feel like they lured me in like a fucking viper. They tricked me. Goodbye, motherfuckers, because it's time to be disruptive and it's time to focus on what we can control. As soon as you are— I mean, I'm very fortunate. I have financial independence. Actually, I have the next level, opulence. So I can afford to make choices and say no to things. And people think financial freedom is what you can say yes to. I think financial freedom is what you can say no to. I don't want to do that job because it makes me feel like a whore. I don't want to work in that sector because I'm selling my life away, making someone else rich. No, I don't want to take that injection. No, no, I don't want to do what you tell me. And when you've got money, you can afford to do that. So financial freedom is not about what you can say yes to, it's about what you can say no to.
