I’m Leaving for Dubai if Labour do This

Rob Moore argues the UK already has multiple wealth taxes through inheritance tax and stamp duty, and a new one would drive rich people to Dubai and hurt workers. He urges listeners to emigrate or legally minimize taxes, then promotes his Money.School platform for business and tax-reduction courses.

I am leaving for Dubai if Labour do this. I'm telling you, they're threatening to do this as if there aren't enough taxes for us all. But if they impose this new tax that they're threatening, I will be gone, and you should be too. So since Labour came in, they've frozen the thresholds which pushes you into a higher tax bracket because of inflation. They've added one of the most penal taxes for economic growth, and that is National Insurance, because it punishes employers, therefore it punishes employees. They only just reversed on the winter fuel payments, but they weren't even going to pay for the elderly when electricity's gone through the roof because we don't produce our own fuel. The list goes on. I mean, I didn't think it really could get much worse under Conservatives. It's got even worse. Under Labour. But Labour are proposing or seriously considering a wealth tax. And I'm telling you, you should rebel against this. You should get on the streets. Now here's the problem. The people who are not working or on welfare or the lower earners are probably going to go, "Yeah, tax the rich, fuck the rich." because they don't understand that what pays for them is the rich. They don't get it. It's quite ironic. What pays for all the welfare? The rich. And when all these millionaires leave the country, like it seems weekly one of my millionaire friends does, when they all leave, there's a higher tax burden for everyone else, i.e., the working class. And, you know, the upper class are down into the middle class, the middle class are now down into the working class. And this is— Labour are to blame a lot for this. Now, a wealth tax is essentially taxing rich people. It's taxing their wealth. Now, I'm going to tell you why that's just completely ridiculous in a moment. But here's the thing: there's already loads of wealth taxes. Inheritance tax is a wealth tax. Here's one. 4% of people pay inheritance tax because you have to have left a certain amount in your estate for you to pay inheritance tax. The top 4% richest people in this country pay inheritance tax, so that's already a wealth tax. Stamp duty is a wealth tax. Why? Because the rich people pay 12%. They pay the highest stamp duty. And then buying company and a property is— buying property in a company is 15%. And stamp duty. So that's a wealth tax. Income tax is a wealth tax because it's progressive. The more you earn, the more tax you're charged. So that's a wealth tax. Capital gains is a wealth tax because the more you earn, the more you pay, and the richest people pay 28% capital gains tax. So all of the taxes are already wealth taxes, and now they're calling for a wealth tax. A tax like there isn't one. All that'll mean is companies won't grow, they'll move offshore, valuing them will be a nightmare, they'll squirrel money away. Like, being able to tax on someone's net worth, which is basically— net worth is mostly paper. So imagine a company is growing and it's imposed a wealth tax, it'll just hold back its growth. And what about if it's taxed on its value but then it halves in value? Are HMRC going to pay the tax back? Of course they're not. So this wealth tax is absolutely ridiculous. We're already stifling growth because the more you earn, the more you're taxed. You're probably taxed 70%+ of what you earn and what you spend. My friend thinks it's more like 90%, and he's pretty much a billionaire. And this is getting worse and worse and worse, and now Labour are looking at imposing a wealth tax. If they do that, everyone should just fucking leave. Because there's nothing left for anyone. 'Cause even if you don't really like wealthy people, they're the ones that fuel the economy. They're the ones that pay most of the tax revenue. So you should resist a wealth tax. We already have loads of them. Now look, I know I complain about these things because I really think that they're wrong, and I think we should all speak out on things we think are wrong. Really, there's two things you can do about it. Number one is leave. Some people are like, Rob, bugger off, goodbye. My haters want to see me leave. I'm still here fighting, I hope you are too. That's option number 1. Option number 2 is you've got to figure out how to not pay all this tax. Pay a fair amount of tax legally by minimising your tax bill, by understanding how to structure your affairs, your operations, your companies, knowing what you can run as an expense, knowing what the legitimate tax breaks are, of which I believe there are about 12. And this is why I have my global money school, money.school. Money.School is to help you start and scale a business, make, manage, and multiply money, invest in assets that produce recurring income, get your earnings up, and really importantly, get your tax bill down. So inside Money.School, there's business courses on starting a business, an information business, a high-speed business, an internet business. There's content on retaining and managing your money, my Money Mastery series. My money management series, and then this masterclass is on getting your tax bill down, because in the UK it's not really about what you earn anymore, it's about what you keep, because most people don't keep most of it. And there's only actually one main way that you can minimize your tax bill legally and legitimately, because actually the government want and need you to. You just have to know the rules, but the rules are so complicated on purpose. The only way to do that is to have a company. And learn the tips inside Money.School. So if you want to join Money.School, the good news is it's less than 50p a day. You can cancel anytime. There's no ongoing contract and there's hundreds of hours of courses, resources, and masterclasses to make, manage, multiply, and maintain your money. And like Adam says, this knowledge is more important than ever. So the link to join right now is money.school. Money.school. That's as simple as that. You just type in money.school. There you go. I'll give you 30 seconds to go and join now. If you join now, I'll give you my 3-hour Money Mastery series that I did for one of the world's biggest influencers, but I retained the intellectual property. I'll also give you the 15-hour Money Mastermind University, which is basically a course that I created if I were to teach money at university, because I've written one of the best-selling books in the world on money called Money, and I've been an entrepreneur for nearly 20 years. I think we've done over £250 million in sales. We have about 350 rental units, buying a couple of big deals right now as we speak. So I've done a lot of content on this. I've also got a homeschooling series for kids on money. Like a 14-part Money for Kids series. You can give your kids your own login and kids all go free inside money.school. So there's a hell of a lot of bonuses there if you join now. And the link to join is money.school. Simple as that. Just stop what you're doing and type in money.school. You can cancel anytime, there's no ongoing contract. You could go in and go, you know what, I'm going to trick Rob Moore, gobble up all the content and then cancel. I mean, you'll be there a long time. But, you know, I'm looking to disrupt the education system. Some schools let me speak. I've spoken at Eton College, for example. I've spoken at Michaela School, which is a brilliant independent school. But many schools don't really want you to know this stuff because then you can't sort of become part of the system. You know, you need to learn how the banks play the game of money and how they earn money out of you. And when you know how the banking system and the banks make money, how it works, you can play that game on them. And that's what I've been doing for 20 years, and I can teach you how to do the same. So it's all inside money.school. And now more than ever, it's just as important to reduce your tax bill with legitimate tax saving strategies, tax breaks, tax reliefs, write-offs, things that are there intentionally to encourage you to start a business because small business is most of the economy. And most people don't know how to do it. One, because it's actually really complicated. I think they make it complicated on purpose. The tax code is thousands of pages long. So you need a good accountant, some good knowledge and experience, and decent mentors. And we can help you with all of that inside money. School. So I'll see you there, and remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything. And resist the wealth tax. It will stifle growth. It will send more millionaires away. Therefore, everyone else will get taxed more. Pretty much every tax is a wealth tax anyway, because the more you earn, the more you pay. So resist it, or we'll all go to Dubai together.
