So interest rates have just been increased by the Bank of England, and they are now the highest they have been since 2009. Interest rates are the highest they've been in 13 years. Now, this might create some fear of interest rate rises, but a bit of a dose of reality here. Interest rates are artificially low as they are. The long-term average interest rate is around 5 or 6%. So for them to have been 0.1, 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, even 1%, that is actually long-term average very, very low. And I just want to say, I think it's important for you to prepare for even more interest rate rises. Interest rates are— people aren't going to want to hear this, but interest rates are too low. Inflation's going to bust above 10% soon. Even the government, the Bank of England, the people who don't want you to know what inflation really is are saying that inflation's gonna bust. 10% inflation at 10% is huge. You have to constrict the economy, and one of the ways to do that is to increase interest rates if you want to curb inflation. So, you know, one of the most common ways to curb inflation is to increase interest rates, and they've been held artificially low for what, 12 years plus. So whilst people are going to be scared that interest rates go up because of course inflation is really high, cost of living is really high, in reality they probably need to go up. The problem is that wages are going to go up nowhere near as high as inflation. So there's been a warning from the Bank of England that the UK economy is set to shrink as interest rates rise. Now, for the economy to grow, it needs stimulus from the government, or subsidies, or support— not just financial stimulus, but maybe some support for employment, some support for production and research and development, um, and to fuel business. I don't see that happening. Let me know in the comments if you're seeing it happening, because am I missing something? Uh, so there's a lot to be done here. So the Bank of England have warned that the UK economy will shrink this year as it raises interest rates to try to stem the pace of rising prices. This is the problem. The price of everything is going through the roof. Inflation at 10%. I mean, they are talking that your spending power now is the lowest it's been since immediately after the Second World War. How mad is it to think that your pound-for-pound inflation-adjusted, tax-reduced spending power is the lowest it's been in 90 years or something like that. Absolute madness. But I do want to say this: I'm not a doom monger, I'm a reality monger. And there are things that you can do to curb this. You can start your own business, you can create extra income streams, you can build assets and digital assets to create recurring income, you can turn your information into income. Your content into cash flow, what you already know into cash flow, but you probably have got to start another business. Create multiple streams of income. This is vital. By the way, if you'd like some tools and resources from me to do that for free, just write toolkit in the comments. I've actually just finished creating a new set of resources, 35 ways to save up to half your salary a year in cost savings. Multiple ways to create recurring and residual income, how to build digital and physical assets quicker, easier, and lower cost. If you just put toolkit in, it's a free gift. Well, it's actually 4 free gifts from me, so just write the word toolkit. I'm on a mission to help as many people get better financial education and knowledge. Right now, people have way less spending power, so they've got to save some money. And then they've got to also look to increase their revenue. Now, what most people will talk about is how cost of living is going down— sorry, how your spending power is going down and how cost of living is going up and how your disposable income is going down. But what a lot of people won't talk about is how to create extra income streams. Because sometimes if you've got, let's say, £1,000 less a month in disposable because the dramatic increase in cost of living of everything, um, it's difficult to save that money, but not as difficult to make that money. To save a thousand in your existing salary is much more difficult than to make an extra thousand. So if you just put toolkit in the comments, and I will share a link with you, um, and I will give you immediately downloadable access to, um, ways to save up to half your salary a year, and to start and scale multiple streams of recurring income. So the Bank of England have just increased rates today, and actually a 0.25% raise in rates is not a lot, but people are scared that rates are going up when cost of living is going up, when taxes are going up, when your spending power is the lowest it's been in what 50 years, or even since the end of World War II. So there's going to be a lot of, um, emotion and fear around interest rate rises on the internet right now. But I just want to say, to put it into context, one, it's only a 0.25% rise, which is not huge. It could have been more. And it's only 1%. Interest rates' long-term average are 5 or 6%. So let's not panic too much. And be ready that interest rates are probably going to go up more. Okay, so inflation is at its highest for 30 years and is set to breach 10% by the end of the year, with fuel, energy, and food costs soaring partly because of the war with Russia and Ukraine. As a result, people are reining in their spending, which is hitting economic growth. So it's a prediction that the economy is going to shrink Uh, which isn't surprising. The government must do more to stimulate the economy, and I'm not talking about these monetary policies. I'm talking about helping entrepreneurs, helping businesses start, helping employment, creating jobs. This is how we'll really stimulate the economy. Economists have warned that increases in interest rates may have little effect. Here's the thing, You know, if interest rates need to go up to curb inflation but inflation is 10%, a 0.25% rise in interest rates not going to touch the sides of the inflation. It's not going to pay for your increase in fuel for a tank in your car. So yeah, it is pretty mad right now. But if you just put tool— if you write toolkit in the comments, I'm going to give you some tools to save money and make money and create digital assets and multiple streams of recurring income. I've got video trainings that I've done, and I've got documents and articles that I've written for Ink magazine or major UK publications, as well as some content I've not shared before. I want to help. I want to do my bit to help as many people on this planet, um, you know, get better financial education and knowledge, you know, to be able to create freedom, choice, and, and profit. So that's what's going on right now in the world. Please share this because this is obviously the The interest rates have just literally gone up, it's just happened. And I also want to warn but contextualize what's going on in the world. So the warning is tax is going to go up further, and it's already freaking high. Did you see my tax rant, by the way? Go and watch that on my Facebook page. So warning number 1, tax is going to go up before it goes down. Warning number 2 is interest rates have got to go up more. Warning number 3 is inflation's going to go up more. The economy is of course going to constrict and shrink, and our spending power is probably going to go down before it goes up. And this could last many years, and this is an impact of Brexit and COVID and wars, and it's all coming to roost now. And we let them do it, by the way. We let the powers that be do it, and we must hold them to account. So if you write the word toolkit in the comments, I'm going to share some resources with you for free from me. You will need to pop your email details in. I actually had 2 videos fact-checked, 2 Facebook Lives that you're watching now, um, yesterday and the day before, fact-checked by Facebook. And actually, I checked my facts, and I'm pretty 95% sure my facts were accurate. So, um, I could be removed or shadow banned or canceled or deplatformed from Facebook at any time. Any, any of us could. As you know, I'm pissed off about this cancel culture, this censoring and deplatforming culture. So maybe in the future the only way we can stay in touch and I can give you all these resources is through our direct email address, because no one can cancel that. So just write the word toolkit in. Um, I've been asked here by Marius, how will this affect my business? Um, well, look, business is good for me, and it almost feels a bit weird to say that because certainly don't want to brag about that, but you know, I've worked hard And I've been in business 15 years, so I, I brought some of that experience. But you've got to increase your revenue, you've got to increase your value, uh, you've got to maybe even create extra products and services. You've got to look at what the world needs and what the new problems are and go and solve those, and not necessarily stay stuck to old business models. You've got to evolve with these crazy changing times. You've got to offset all of the allowable, um, spending that you can against your tax and make sure that there's no wastage there. And, and people like me are speaking out that the government have got to do something to support small businesses and entrepreneurs. They must do more. It's going to get worse in the economy before it gets better. But I wrote in my book Money, there's a difference between the economy and your economy. The economy, the total economy, is GDP, gross domestic product. But your economy, your GDP, you can actually control that much more than the government. Now, you have to pay your legal taxes, although some argue they are illegal. They're certainly unfair. Go and watch my tax rant. Um, but you can create your own economy, uh, and, you know, you can make sure that you inoculate and isolate yourself from high interest rates and high inflation. Look, every downside has an upside, and if you have assets that produce income, then high interest rates is not always a problem to you. Of course, if your debt is high, that's a problem, but interest rates, um, are eroding my debt. Inflation is eroding my debt at the moment, and interest rates can create income on assets. So you've got to try and spin it round to the upside. Anyway, if you just Write the word toolkit in the comments. I'll give you access to about 4 new resources. I've got 2 video trainings about 2.5 hours long on creating multiple streams of recurring residual income, and also some checklists on building digital assets and 35 ways to save up to half your salary in expenses a year. I've been writing for Inc. magazine and also major UK publications on money. So I think you'll find a lot of this content useful. Thanks for tuning in. Hit the share button, let everyone know about this, because there's going to be a lot of fear and panic and it's going to be put out of context. I think you should be wary of the things you should be wary about, but you've got to contextualize it. So is a 0.25% rise in interest rates, which has just happened, is that really a major issue? No. But are interest rates going to go up more? Yes. Are they artificially low? Yes. Is inflation artificially high? Yes. Is inflation going to go up even more? Yes. Is cost of living really high? Yes. Is cost of living going to go up more? Yes. Are taxes really high? Yes. Are taxes going to go up more? Yes. Are taxes and inflation forms of tax and theft? Yes. Is— are the government handling these soaring costs of living well? No. Are governments supporting entrepreneurs and employees well enough to not just survive but thrive? No. Have you got to take personal responsibility? Yes. How can you do that? Write toolkit in the comments and hit the share button now. Thanks for tuning in, really appreciate you. Thanks for following my work. Remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything. You must take control of your life. You must start your second income stream. You must build physical and digital assets. You must have income from assets. You mustn't be reliant on one source of income. You must make money while you sleep, otherwise you'll be working until you die.
