Is Silver Better Than Gold & Property?

Rob Moore argues silver is dramatically undervalued compared to gold. The gold-to-silver ratio has widened from 16:1 in 2005 to 52-54:1 today, while silver has gained roughly 50% over five years versus cash losing 30%. He discusses buying silver through Royal Mint or Direct Bullion, avoiding the 20% VAT by holding through a company, and storage options.

In 2005, 16 of these was worth one of these. 16 2-ounce silver coins was worth one 1-ounce gold coin in 2005. If anyone can guess how many silver coins are now worth 1 ounce Before I reveal the answer, I'm going to give you one or more of these coins. The price of silver looks like it's way underpriced compared to gold, um, so also compared to property actually. Now this isn't advice, but, um, I think maybe silver is one of the most underappreciated assets. Something else I'll do for fun So can you guess how many of these silver coins, these 2-ounce coins, are now worth one of these gold ones? And something else I'll do for fun is if you can guess the exact amount of all of these silver coins, um, that I paid for, I'll give you one or more of them. So silver in 1980 was $100 and over $145 an ounce. It's now just over $30 an ounce. So a precious metal— this was the first precious metal used as money. Everyone thinks that gold was the first precious metal— nearly dropped it— used as money. This is a 1-ounce Krugerrand gold coin. But actually, silver was the first precious metal used by, um, for money. And in 1980, it was $145 an ounce, and now it's $30 an ounce. So maybe now it's very underpriced compared to gold. Now I'm going to give you the answer to the first question. I haven't seen anyone answer it yet. Let me know in the comments if you can. In 19— in 2005, 16 of these was worth 1 of these. Keep dropping my money. Now, 1 of these is worth 54 of these. So gold is 3 times the price of silver in relative terms. Since 2005. That, that's not that long. So back in the day, gold and silver, their prices used to be pegged together. So gold will go up in the same relative value as silver and vice versa. And now they're unpegged. So what happens— what's happened is gold has soared like that. I mean, everybody knows that gold is the real money. Robert Kiyosaki calls it God's money. Um, but most people don't really know about silver, don't know really how to invest it, where to invest. Um, so, you know, maybe you want to think about gold, silver as one of your investing strategies for 2025 and beyond. Now, a few little tips about silver. One, it's really easy to buy. You can either buy it from the Royal Mint directly. If you buy it personally, there'll be VAT on it, which is 20%. You don't really want that. But you can own it in your company. I mean, always check with your accountant, but I know for a fact you can own this in your company as essentially savings for your money. So you can either buy on the Royal Mint or you can buy it from Direct Bullion. I think that they're very good. Direct Bullion have an exclusive with the Royal Mint for all the anniversary coins, so you can buy it really easily. You could either store in a vault at 1%, um, a year holding fee. I like to store it personally because, you know, one of the great benefits of having silver and gold is it's money that's away from the banking system. Who owns the vaults? The banking system. The banks own the vaults. So why would you want to pay 1% for the banks to have your silver when really the point of having silver and gold is to have it out of the banks? Also, if you look at money, in, in the last 5 years, money's gone down 30%. In the last 5 years, Silver's gone up 50%, so there's an 80%. And by the way, I've got the chart here. You can, you can go and have a look at the 100-year historical chart. Back in 1930, these were $7 an ounce. Now they're $30 an ounce, but they peaked at $145,000 an ounce. You can track the prices. So, you know, long term, these are going up in value a lot, and long-term money is going down in value a lot. And the difference between a silver coin and cash in the last 5 years is silver's gone up 50% and cash has gone down 30%. That's an 80% differential. I mean, that is mind-blowing. If you just really think about that for a moment, that is mind-blowing. And it's because of this reason I I've actually now added a new session onto the Moneymaker Summit special event that we're, we're doing. We only have 2 more dates planned for this, but I'm adding a how-to-invest mini masterclass within the Moneymaker Summit event. And I'm also getting my gold and silver mentors to come in and be interviewed and do a session on investing in silver and gold, how to do it easily, how to do it privately, how to make sure that you avoid taxation or inheritance tax, how to have it in your pension, where to store it. All of these things you probably don't know about because, let's be honest, the banks want you to just put your money with them. The banks don't really benefit for you owning silver and gold, although banks are trying to buy up lots of gold right now. For me, I see gold and silver as similar, um, you know, just the main difference being that they're slightly different in terms of their scarcity and the amount Silver actually has more utility. Yes, you can use gold for jewelry, but you know, that's not as much utility as, you know, these can be used for, um, in batteries. And it looks like with the electrical revolution, we're going to need more batteries. So actually, silver have a lot more utility. So I'm adding in into the Moneymaker Summit, one date is Peterborough, one date is London. I've got a billionaire speaking at one and a half billionaire speaking at another. I've added in a whole section on how to invest, and I've got my gold mentors to come in and teach you about investing in gold and silver. So if you'd like to access this, um, special, uh, live event called the Moneymaker Summit, and you'd like a sponsored ticket from me— I don't give away tickets because, you know, free advice is worth every penny, but when you pay, you pay attention. You just have to get there. How's that? Is that a fair deal? Go to robmoore.live/money. The reason I'm doing this is I'm celebrating the 7-year anniversary of my book Money. It'll also be my birthday around about that time, and I want to give back because my mission is to help as many people on this planet get better financial knowledge. So go right now to robmoore.live/money. Because this is real money. And also, you'll notice on that page you could upgrade to a VIP or a Super VIP ticket. Um, so on the VIP upgraded tickets, um, there's a 15-hour How to Raise Money Masterclass, an online course. That's why I can give it away, because it's online and I've already done it. Many people say to me, Rob, I'd love to come, but I don't have a lot of money. I'd love to invest, but I don't have a lot of money. Well, now I've solved that problem for you. So just a small amount of money for the VIP upgrade, you can get my 15-hour online course on how to raise money. You also get champagne reception with the millionaires in a Q&A session on 2 evenings. You get money mindset bonus morning sessions with 2 multimillionaires in mornings, and you get a dinner if you're one of the first 32, I think, um, in the evening with 6 millionaires and all the other peers, about 30 of you. If you're quick and you upgrade and get a special ticket at robmoore.live/money. So go there right now. Can see the numbers going down, which means lots of people are going to register for the event. Um, I haven't got any more than 2 planned for 2025. Um, so you need to be quick and go and do this now, because back in the day, in 2005, 16 of these was worth one of these. Now it's 52 or 53 of these are worth one of these, which means silver is underpriced compared to gold. And in 1980, silver was $145 an ounce. Now it's $30 an ounce. If you want to learn how to invest it, how to beat inflation— because the first fundamental rule of getting rich is you need to beat inflation— where to store it, how to avoid the tax, how to keep it private. I'm going to do a bonus session on the Moneymaker Summit teaching you all of this. I'm going to get my gold and silver experts to come in and do interviews and teach you another session on this. I'm going to do a 2-hour session on how to get your tax bill down. I'm going to do a 90-minute session on the 8 stages of going from zero to millionaire. And we're doing a 2-hour session on how to leverage AI to start and scale your business in 2025. So there's a lot to cover. So I'll see you there at the Moneymaker Summit Live 2024. And finally, if anyone can guess how much that is in terms of how, how much I paid for it, I'll give you one or more of them just for fun. They're 2 oz Tudor Beast and Queen's Beast coins. See you there, and remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything.
