Justin Bieber has just sold himself out. Now, before you say Justin Bieber is already a sellout, bear with me because I'm actually not talking about his music, his work, his art. I'm talking about something else. Now look, I've been telling you for years you need to build a personal brand. Oh, by the way, the people who write Timberlake's, Shakira's, Dylan's, and Springsteen's music, they also get a good share of the sale of the rights to the song. Now, um, BlackRock were behind the purchase, but I'm not going to say anything about that. But the point is, what Justin Bieber can do— he's just made $200 million cash out, and he probably made hundreds of millions cash in on an ongoing basis. Joe Rogan did it. Joe Rogan sold his rights, um, his back catalog to Spotify. Initially reported $100 million, later reported $200 million. So my question to you is this: in your own smaller, more personal way, are you thinking about what's my personal brand? How can I help other people? How am I useful?
