Lies About the Cost of Living Crisis ⛔️

In this monologue, the speaker argues that the UK’s so‑called cost‑of‑living crisis is mischaracterised; the real problem is a massive government debt crisis fueled by pandemic‑related spending, fiscal mismanagement, and a lack of energy and industrial independence. He critiques the concentration of market power in a handful of multinational corporations, claims that antitrust enforcement is ineffective, and links high energy prices to lost sovereignty rather than scarcity. The talk then shifts to monetary policy, describing quantitative easing, money printing, and devaluation as the government’s primary tool for handling debt, which he says drives inflation. To protect themselves, listeners are urged to reduce reliance on banks, preserve cash from inflation, invest in tangible and digital assets, diversify income streams, and become entrepreneurs. Throughout, the speaker repeatedly promotes his educational platform, Rob.team, as the solution for gaining the financial knowledge needed to achieve independence, offering masterclasses on investing, side‑hustles, and wealth building at a low subscription cost.

Lies about the cost of living crisis. I believe you're being lied to about the real reasons for this cost of living crisis. Now, you're led to believe that it's inflation and necessary expenses for things like pandemics, when in reality It's not a cost of living crisis, it's a government debt crisis. And it's the governments who get themselves into debt. The governments decide on monetary and fiscal policy. They run their own budgets. We don't run their budgets. We don't decide their monetary policy. And so Right now, the UK government is £2.2 trillion in debt. It's just raised another £60 billion of debt for the next 6 months for the energy cap guarantee. Of course, it's just doing all these tax cuts, which I, I think in many ways are quite good, but that's also going to create more debt on the government balance sheet. So we're not in a cost of living crisis. We're in a governmental debt crisis. The government have been getting more and more and more and more and more into debt. You know, we had pandemics, lockdowns, vaccines. We had track and trace apps. We had the loans, the bounce back loans, the furlough scheme, the energy cap guarantee. Now, if we ran our own independent energy, which we're more than capable of doing, by the way, then we would not be in a situation where our gas and energy would be hiking 100%, 200%, and 400%. That would not, would not be happening. So we sort of have to take our own responsibility there. But it does somewhat piss me off that we're led to believe that it's an inflation problem and, oh, you better just tighten up your belts and stop your spending and hide and hoard your way through this. When in reality there's multiple mismanagements. Um, so I'm going to give you some examples here. So, you know, lockdown 1.0, maybe, but 2.0 and soft lockdown 3.0, unnecessary expense, tens if not hundreds of billions. The track and trace app didn't work, that was tens of billions. Lots of, um, money that they put into the system that's maybe not managed well, like bounced back loans and support loans to the wrong people, like maybe a decent amount of the Universal Credit, for example, is probably overspent. The NHS is a big fat money pit and it's completely broken. So we've got all these issues going on, the lack of independence of power, energy, manufacturing. I mean, we used to be the industrial manufacturing centre of the world, now we don't make anything, completely reliant on places like China. So We've really in a lot of ways only got ourselves to blame here, but do not believe the hype. Oh, well, it's just inflation and tighten your belts, not our fault. It's also a power crisis, by the way. So I don't think it is, of course, a living crisis. I think it's a governmental debt crisis. I think it's a multiple mismanagement of money crisis. It's also a power crisis. So, you know, why are our Gas and electric and energy bills going up hundreds of percent because we're not independent. We don't create our own energy. Well, we could and we do, but we don't seem to be able to manage it properly. Um, we've also given a lot of power away to really big brands. So if you think, um, when you go to the supermarket, you have the illusion of choice. Oh, there's this brand and this brand and this brand and this brand and this brand and this brand. I can choose. No, you can't, because they're all owned by Unilever. Or they're all owned by Procter Gamble. You go online and you think you've got independence of choice when in fact a lot of the companies online that you think are independent are owned by Google or Microsoft or whatever else. Now there's supposed to be antitrust and anti-monopoly laws to make sure that we've got fair and free competition, to make sure that therefore price is regulated by its own marketplace. But actually, um, I've got no proof of what I'm about to say, so I'm just going to do some conjecture. I would love your thoughts. I've certainly got proof that Unilever and Procter Gamble and Meta and Google and Microsoft own a shitload of companies and bought up a monopoly and have been allowed to. I've definitely got proof of that. Um, but I do wonder if some of the energy suppliers, um, are in the pockets of the government. I wonder if they've made big donations or, you know, they make big investments into the UK and they have some kind of power and control over the UK government. Um, some people have suggested that the big social media platforms and the big information and media platforms, um, they have a virtual monopoly because, you know, that's where information is proliferated and the government rely on them. I have no proof of that, by the way. Um, I'm just suggesting that, that, um, that might be the case. Um, otherwise wouldn't they do something about it? Otherwise wouldn't they maybe windfall tax the energy companies, or wouldn't they have been able to control the soaring cost of energy without having to pay for it themselves. And by the way, you know, when the government pay for something, who pays for it? You pay for it and I pay for it. So, um, yeah, we're not in a cost of living crisis, we're in a governmental debt crisis. 2.2 billion of government debt costs— sorry, 2.2 trillion. Did I say billion? Oops. 2.2 trillion of government debt is billions, tens of billions, hundreds of billions just in interest. It's like pouring water in a bucket with a hole in it. Just to keep the water at the same level, you've got to keep pouring water in. And to pay for things like pandemics and lockdowns and vaccines and track-and-trace apps and far too many people in government, to pay for all these things that's built up the trillions of debt where we just seem to keep getting into more debt, it's going to take us decades. Decades. Now here's the problem as well. Because the government's in so much debt and they don't seem to care about balancing their books books anymore. There's 3 ways they can pay off their debt. Number 1 is to actually pay it off, which they're not doing. But the only way to actually pay it off is to either wildly fire up the economy or dramatically increase taxes. And right up until literally this week, it looked like all they cared about was increasing taxes. That's way number 1 that they can pay it off. Way number 2 is not paying it off, but they could go bust, and countries do not like going bust. Governments do not like going bust. Sometimes it's— they're so insolvent it might actually be better to do that, but they don't do that. They'll never do that. Um, so they'd much rather do number 3, which is reduce their debt through quantitative easing, through printing of money, through devaluing of money. So this is one of the reasons that we've got a really hard devaluation of money It is because government's debts are so high, and the only way that they can pay it off without going bust or charging 110% tax is to actually just keep eroding the value of it by printing more and more of it. So Abdul said here, we're in this debt bubble. Um, yeah, I don't really know what a bubble is. It's a— I mean, you're at where you're at. You can say, you know, prices are too high or too low, but they are what they are and they're at where they're at. But, um, do I think there might be a correction coming? Yes. Do I think there might be a recession coming? Yes. Do I think there might be a depression coming? Yes. So, um, yeah, this is just crazy times right now. Um, and here's what you can do, because there are solutions to this, by the way. Number one is you can wake up so you can really know what's going on in the world. So Maybe you can control by not buying really big brands. If you buy independent, if you buy local, if you buy smaller brands, then you're helping with the price competition. Because as soon as you buy anything that's a real big brand that has a monopoly, they have price comp— they have price monopoly. So if you think about Louis Vuitton, Moët Hennessy, um, if you think about Procter Gamble, Unilever, Google, Microsoft, Meta. These companies own so many companies, they bought up so many companies, they have a natural monopoly. And we're supposed to have laws to protect us against that. So what they can do is compete with themselves and push prices up, and you've got no choice because they can just push prices up and there's no other competition. They just wipe them out or buy them out. So you can wake up to what's really going on in the world. You can choose where you buy, and you can buy a little bit more with awareness and, and create a more fair pricing competition. Um, you must protect your cash from inflation for sure. So inflation is high and going higher. It's in reality, it's quite well beyond double digits in reality. They say it's less, but has your milk, your eggs, your travel, your expenses just gone up 7 or 8%? No, they've gone up way more. So you've got to protect your cash from inflation, and that's putting it into investments and assets. An investment is something that will protect your cash from inflation and pay a future return. An asset is something that will protect your cash from inflation and pay you a recurring residual income. So you can— you just don't want much money in the bank. That's another thing, the banking system. I've done more content on that before, I'll do more content on that again. But with inflation higher than interest rates You're losing money putting it in the bank, um, with the quantitative easing and the continual printing of money. Your money is going down even further. The fractional reserve banking system allows banks to invest and lend out your money. So here's the deal: you pay the banks to have your money, and then the banks can invest or lend it out 10 pounds on the pound, $10 on the dollar, and make a profit on your money. So they double dip on your money. You lose on your money, they make on your money, and they lend and invest out your money 10 times on your money. And you comply, you just do it. You want minimal money in the banks, maximal money in decentralized assets that you control. You've got pretty good land and property rights in the UK, in the Western world. Own property, own gold, own your own personal brand. The next thing is you've got to get your tax down and you've got to get your income and earning power up. You can get your earning power up by getting more commissions, having a side hustle, and pushing— pushing your salary up is hard because it's got to be 20% just to be 0%, but starting the side hustle or building multiple income streams and becoming an entrepreneur, starting your own business, these are all things that you can do to protect yourself. So if you'd like to learn strategically and tactically and practically how to build multiple streams of recurring income, how to build assets to protect from inflation, how to be independent and decentralized from the system, how to get better financial education and knowledge— why aren't the, the society teaching you this? Why does the system not want you to know this? Why are we not taught this in school? Because we need to be a slave to the system. We need to have their needle in one arm paying us 50%. We pay you 50% tax for the rest of your life as a good employee. Oh, and then we'll pay you interest on all the loans and the debt you create for us for, you know, being a good citizen. You need to get out of that system, pull the needles out, and be independent. And to learn how to do this on an ongoing basis, I think Rob.team is the best place. Um, Rob.team is the education you should have got in school but didn't, your parents didn't know how to teach you, and the system doesn't want you to know about being independent, decentralized, becoming an entrepreneur. I'll see you there. Summary: I believe The, um, the real reasons for the cost of living crisis are not being shared with you. They're either being covered up or you're being lied to. It is not a cost of living crisis, it is a government debt crisis. Much of that government debt has been created by the governments themselves. There are some things they can't help, but at the end of the day, the governments are there to govern. The governments are supposed to rule, they are supposed to run our country. Um, but we have a government debt crisis, £2.2 trillion in debt. Billions just to literally, um, pay off the interest on their debt. There's been multiple mismanagements— vaccines and lockdowns and Brexits and, uh, you name it— which have cost them tens or hundreds of billions. A lack of independent energy supply, lack of independent, um, industry, um, you know, and building and manufacturing, everything that was powerful about the Great British Empire We've let go. So it's a definite crazy time, but don't believe the hype. Um, there's a power crisis as well because there's these big brands like Unilever and Procter Gamble and Meta and Google and Microsoft. Not saying that they've done anything wrong. If they buy up a load of companies and create a monopoly and they're not managed by the governments that are supposed to have antitrust, anti-monopoly, you can't blame them. And of course they're going to have power and influence, and if they're going to use it, they're going to use it. That's natural human instinct. It's up to the governments. The governments are supposed to govern, but I think they've allowed too many monopolies in too many industries. And so you're led to believe that there's a cost of living crisis and all the materials have gone up significantly, and because of Brexit and because of the lockdown, all of our prices have gone up on everything because there's an undersupply, when in reality the massive brands that own all the, the products are just able to smash the price up and you can't do anything about it. But you're not told this. And then, you know, you're led to believe that there's a shortage of energy. There isn't a shortage of energy, there's just a blackmail of energy. And we've given away our energy independence. So we need to wake up, to wake up, know what's going on. Don't support— well, support smaller— I was going to say don't support big brands, and that's not the right way to say it. Support small brands, support independence, support decentralization, support localization. Protect your cash from the banks, from inflation, from the government. You must invest in assets. You must be decentralized. You must have multiple streams of income. You must have a side hustle. Turn your information into income, your content into cash flow, what you already know into cash flow. Go join, cost you less than 20 pence a day. You can cancel anytime, no ongoing contract. What more have I got to say? Colin has just said the government's a mess up. You're right, just worried who will pay the price for it. Well, Colin, I know who's going to pay the price for it. The working poor and middle class are going to pay the price for it. That's the reality. The rich will have to pay But the rich also will figure out a way to reduce their tax and get some incentives and breaks and benefits. Not because they're dirty evil bastards, but because they know how. So you can choose to be suppressed, pushed slightly underwater in the paddling pool by the government, or you can choose to break yourself free. You can beat them or join them. You're never going to beat the rich, you're never going to. So join them, become one of them, learn how to be valuable, learn how to make money. Now, um, yeah, taxes are going to go up, inflation is going to go up, interest rates are going to go up. This shit's all— it's just started, by the way. A lot of people are already tired and fatigued and over it, thinking, how long can this go on? It could go on for another 10 years. But there are ways to leverage it into an opportunity. There are ways to not just survive but thrive, and that is becoming an investor, becoming an entrepreneur, learning the skills of the wealthy. And that's accessible to anyone, especially if you're a member of Rob.team, because it costs you less than 20 pence a day. So anyone can afford to do it. That's one of the reasons why I put a lot of this content through Rob.team, because this stuff should be taught in schools and it's not, so I'm going to do it. This stuff, um, the system doesn't want you to know this, so I'm going to reveal it. Um, and I want to help as many people on this planet get better financial education and knowledge, and that is my mission. Um, but here's the thing: free advice is worth every penny, but when you pay, you pay attention. So just invest in yourself. Less than 20 pence a day, less than a large cup of coffee a month. If it's not right for you, you can cancel. There's no ongoing contract. You have got so many masterclass courses and resources at your disposal at the touch of a couple of keys on the internet, specifically rob.moore.com. T-E-A-M. Type that into an internet browser right now. I'll see you in the members area. And remember, you must be awake. You must educate yourself. Observe the masses, do the opposite. Be greedy when others are fearful, and fearful when others are greedy. There is great opportunity right now. More millionaires are made in a recession than at any other time in history, and that time is now. And remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything.
