Millions borrowing to pay Christmas bills. What I'm about to tell you I think is really sad, and the irony of this is the government are making out and doing a PR campaign that they're really supporting people, when in fact these millions of people who are getting into debt over Christmas and having to borrow money just to pay bills. I think much of this has been caused by the government. So also what I'm going to do is I'm going to give you some tips, hacks, 5 top ones to not go broke over Christmas. In fact, maybe even not just survive but thrive over Christmas, because this time at Christmas should be a time You know, where people celebrate, you know, where they plan the next year maybe, or they spend time with their loved ones in the comfort that they're not going broke. So, um, here's an update of some data that's come out, but apparently millions of people are now having to borrow money over Christmas and take out loans and get into debt just to pay essential bills. Which for me, that's just so wrong. And apparently the biggest concern is energy debts and raising already raised energy prices. Now the government absolutely could have done something about this, and they didn't. And energy prices look like they're set to rise again, and they absolutely haven't controlled this while the energy companies profits soar. The energy companies made record profits, um, since COVID and yet most people can't afford to pay them and having to get loans to pay them off. That's completely outrageous. So the Citizens Advice Bureau have said more people are falling behind on their bills, and they now owe the average supplier nearly £2,000. So the average person owns the energy supplier £1,841 Shocker, absolute shocker. And the government had come out and said, oh yeah, but our cost of living payments are really easing the burden. No, you whacked up our living expenses through the roof, soaring heating and eating and general cost of living and massive inflation and shutting down the country. Oh, and now you're giving us a few quid saying that, oh, you're easing the cost of living for us. Bollocks, bullshit, sorry. Don't buy it. Charities have said that many families are facing paying off loans over Christmas, therefore not being able to just buy basic Christmas things. The Joseph Rowntree Foundation said that, uh, costs of food, housing, energy, and council tax are now being paid for with loans. So taxes are being paid with loans. How outrageous is that, that we have to pay our taxes with loans? It saddens me and it sickens me, to be honest. And we don't get taught this stuff in school. We don't get taught about how to build personal wealth, how to manage our budgets and our spending. We don't get taught about what inflation is and quantitative easing. This should be basic things that we learn at school, and— but this is why I have a foundation to help, yeah, more people on this planet get better financial education and knowledge. This is why all my content is here. I think I'm doing more than the school system to teach people about money. Now, the debt charity StepChange estimate 2.6 million adults are using credit cards and debt to pay household essential bills over Christmas. It's wrong, it's sad, the state of this country. I think shame on the government. Now, nearly half of people with existing debt, they face, um, difficulty in keeping up with that debt over Christmas, i.e., they're going more into debt. So existing people in debt are going more into debt, and people are taking out loans to pay household bills, council tax, energy housing, food. It's a fucking disgrace. There's no other two ways about it. So here are a few tips for you, and I please ask you that you share this with everyone, because I want you to be well. I want you to be wealthy. I want you to be free. I want you to have a comfortable life, because the more you earn, the more we all earn. The more I give to you, the more we help each other. So please share this with as many people as possible. Here is how to not just survive but thrive over Christmas. And New Year. So number 1 is ask for gifts of things you need instead of getting random presents that you might not need. I know it's not the most fun and exciting thing, but if I always ask for Christmas for things that I need— the same aftershave that I wear— and I stock up on supplies and I just request them, and I think it's just good practice, and then there's no wastage, and that could save you quite a lot of money. The next thing is when you get gifts that you don't need, and you're not gonna use, don't keep them for loyalty's sake, sell 'em. Sell 'em on eBay, sell 'em on e-commerce websites and raise some money. The next thing is be thoughtful about the gifts you give to others. Maybe give time, maybe give love, maybe try and give some things that you can make and create for your loved ones that don't cost you a load of money. Don't fall into the consumerism trap. Don't buy loads of shit food, don't buy loads of chocolate, because health is wealth and energy is money. So if your health and energy are good over Christmas and New Year, you'll hit the new year running, and that will help you save and make money in 2024. I know people— I'm not going to be popular saying this, but I'm just going to say it. If you're bored and got nothing to do, start an e-commerce business and sell a load of your stuff you don't need in the house, and go to your friends and family and ask for some of their stuff that they don't need and sell it and split a cut. And so instead of your money going way down over Christmas, your money is actually going to go up over Christmas. And then the final thing is build up recurring income, because once you have recurring income, the recurring income can pay for the bills, and then in theory, every day is Christmas. So please share this with as many people as possible, because these 6 tips can help people not just survive but thrive over Christmas. And this stuff you're not taught in school, and consumerism doesn't want you to know this. Consumerism wants you buying depreciating liabilities on debt and spending way too much money on Christmas. I don't think you should be buying your kids a load of stuff just because you didn't have the childhood presents that you wanted. And I think all these small practical tactical changes can make a big difference. And if you are looking for recurring and residual income, if you are looking for many practical and tactical tips like these 6, but you're looking for 60 or 600 that work every day, I recommend you join Rob.team. So quick summary is that millions of people are getting into debt just to pay household bills, council tax, energy, electric, heating, um, and the average person is owing their energy supplier £1,841. And this is over Christmas. This is completely wrong. And the government are like, oh well, our cost of living payments are really helping. They're not even covering one of those 5 expenses. And then I shared some tips with you on actually— so the government's saying this and that that they're doing, that they're not. And they caused the problem in the first place. But here are practical and tactical tips. Number 1, instead of just them getting random gifts, ask for things that you need. Number 2, sell any gifts you don't use. Don't be, you know, I wouldn't— sometimes you can feel a bit of loyalty and keep things that you don't really need. Get rid of them and have the money. Don't buy loads of shit food. Because health is wealth and energy is money. Keep yourself exercising over Christmas and New Year so you've got that energy. Launch your e-commerce business over Christmas by selling stuff you don't need, having a good clear out, and you know, you might have enough money to pay off your bills or start a business.
