My Deepest Shame

Rob Moore argues that real self-worth comes from being genuinely skilled and making money, not from self-care narratives. He built the UK's largest property-training business generating $250 million in sales and now offers a 90-day plan to earn $10k per month through his platform Rob.team.

My deepest shame— I don't know if you can relate to this, but I used to think that being respected was deeply important to me. Being valued, appreciated, and loved. I mean, these are human traits. I'm getting chased by dogs there. So it goes deeper. Hello! I think it goes deeper. Um, my deepest shame is not being good enough. I don't know if you can relate to this, because actually being appreciated and loved and respected is linked to not being good enough. And there's all this stuff, there's all this wokey stuff in the world right now about, you know, it's okay to be fit or to just take part or go and have some therapy or self-care or put yourself first or just love yourself. Yeah, work-life balance. I've tried everything. And do you know what works? Being fucking good at something. Being valuable. Like, you can't lie to yourself. You can go, yeah, I'm doing ice baths and walks and, and therapy and taking care of my mental health and taking time out and putting myself first. But if you're not good at anything, you don't have any value. And if you don't have any value, you don't have any worth. So actually, all these gimmicks and all this shit that the woke left are putting on you, that it's okay to be way overweight and it's okay to not have an identity or, or okay to finish last and all this stuff. The problem with it is, is it kills your self-worth. And shame is actually really good. It doesn't feel good. But it's really good. Now maybe it's different for women, maybe this is a masculine thing, but bear with— stay with me on this because I think it's really important because the world has shut up about this. There's a few people out there giving you some good advice, but they're really controversial, so people are missing the lessons. So I feel my deepest shame when I don't feel good enough, and not feeling good enough, I don't feel respected and loved and appreciated. But if I'm really good, people respect and love and appreciate me. And if I'm not good at anything, people don't respect and love and appreciate me. So I can't look to everyone else to respect, love, and appreciate me and expect me to because they're my family and friends and they're in business with me and they're my colleagues. No, you have to do great and be great. And that's not always easy because Brexit and lockdown and shit that's going on in the world and really high taxes. And critics and trolls and haters and the UK dying and all of this stuff. All of this has in reality made it much harder to be great. However, if there was World War III, it would be even harder to be great. And you know, when I'm going through some challenges and things are hard, I think, well, if it was 1910, I'd have 15 years of austerity and doom and war So I'm pretty grateful that it's, you know, I'll take my problems any time over that shit. So here's what I'm working on, and I recommend you work on it too. Double down on getting good at what you enjoy and love. Turn your passion into your profession, your content to cash flow, your information into your income, whatever. Get bloody good at something. And I don't mean that you need the appraisal and appreciation from others. I mean, you know you're fucking good when you know you're a great parent, a great entrepreneur, a great leader, a great marketer. You have a great product when you know unshakably within you that you're good. Oh, and you also know there's room for improvement. That is the best kind of self-worth. That is the best kind of self-love. And that will get you through difficult times. And a lot of people just aren't saying this. And I know this because I've gone through this journey myself. I mean, I've been an entrepreneur 18 years. For 15 years straight, pretty much everything my business partner and I touched turned to gold. We built the UK's largest property training business. We bought a big portfolio at a young age. We've become— we became very wealthy, very young, and everyone was like, wow, you guys have done amazing. And Brexit, lockdown, death of the UK, bish bash bosh, hard, harder, hardest. Just hit us when we had our biggest overhead, our biggest company, our biggest amount of responsibility and challenges. And, um, it was a real test of character and a real test to go, what am I good at? And double down on that. And that's one of the reasons why I'm focusing much more now on Rob.team and my mission to help as many people on this planet get better financial knowledge. I am very good at helping people make more money. I am very good at information on money and starting and scaling a business and getting rid of the overwhelm and the procrastination and where to start and where to scale and how to build recurring income and how to build assets. I've been doing it for 18 years. I'm bloody good at it and I'm bloody good at teaching it. And so I am drilling down on that to get even better at that. I've got a mission by the time I'm 50 to be the top guy in the world in this niche. And, you know, I'm doing good, but I'm not the top guy in the world. And I've got that mission by the time I'm 50. Would you like to come on that mission with me? Would you like to get wealthy with me? Would you like to start and scale your business with me? Would you like to build recurring income with me? Would you like to get your tax bill down with me? Would you like to get your income streams up with me? Would you like the support, the accountability, but also me dragging you forward and getting out of your own way of over-analysis and analysis and procrastination and overthinking? Because if you would, rob.team is where I'm growing my content and you're going to benefit. Rob.team is my digital financial freedom platform where you're going to get all of this information for less than the cost of a cup of coffee a day. Um, no risk, cancel any time, no ongoing contract, hundreds of hours of courses, resources, and masterclasses to make, manage, and multiply more money. So if you'd like to join at no risk to you and join me on this mission to get better financial education and knowledge, for you to make, manage, and multiply money, for you to build multiple streams of recurring income, for you to get your tax bill down and your income streams up, then I recommend you join rob.team right now. Here's what you need to do. You need to stop watching me. You need to go and type in rob.team. You can see people going by the numbers. You need to join. You can even join quickly on Apple Pay on your phone, and then you need to come back. So go do that now. I'll give you a second to go do that. I've got some special bonuses in Rob.team which I'll tell you about in a minute. This Sunday, i.e., in a few days' time, um, I will be doing the fastest way to make 10 grand a month. I've got 14 income streams. I've been an entrepreneur 18 years, and there is one way over all 14 that is quickest, lowest friction, lowest cost, highest speed, best for your— probably best for your lifestyle. It's not property, even though that made me rich. And I'm going to reveal it to you. And I'm going to give you a step-by-step plan, a 90-day plan on what you need to do to get to $10,000 a month, turning your passion into your profession and what you already know into cash flow. The single best way. That's coming this Sunday. On rob.team. By the way, the only place you get recordings of all my courses, resources, and masterclasses that I do is in rob.team. So go and join rob.team, type in r-o-b dot t-e-a-m. Go join that right now so you can jump on that masterclass. It'll be live with me, and I'll also give you a working planning document to go with it. Because here's the thing, people say that money isn't important. Money might not be everything until you don't have any. And also, the thing with money is if things aren't going very well but you've got money, it makes it better. And if things aren't going very well and you're broke, it makes it worse. Give me a yes if you can relate to that, by the way. I know problems are harder when the money is lean. And I don't mean my personal money. My personal money is great. But, you know, we have a company with probably a million a month overhead. So, you know, I have to pay everyone else a million first before I get my share. So, you know, there's some risk there. And so I know when the margins are skinny, if we're not having a good month in that business, I know that it can make other problems harder. I know, like, when the money's rolling in, fucking say what you want, do what you want, you know, whatever, bring it. You can't break me. So getting good at making money really will change your life, really will help your self-worth. Like, how's your self-worth going to be good if you're broke? How? How are you going to feel valuable if you're broke? You're not. And by the way, this isn't me judging broke people. Broke people are not inferior, they just don't know how to make money. Rich people are not superior, they just know how to make money. I mean, that's just the way I see it. I don't judge people, but I want to help you. So you have to help yourself though. I mean, I dropped Rob.team, um, down by 80% after lockdown because the shit was kicking off and everyone was going bust left, right, and center, and people were struggling. So I doubled down on my mission to help as many people on this planet get better financial knowledge, and I, um, dropped Rob.team by 80%. I haven't put it up since, probably because it's still hard for a lot of people. So jump in on Rob.team now while you've got an 80% discount. I will have to put it back up, but very soon because it's got to be its normal price once things are back to normal. Um, by the way, if you have any challenges logging in or you've got any issues or questions about joining Rob.team, you can email support@robmoore.com. That's support@robmoore.com. Assist just joined, Leon's joined. So give me a yes in the comments when you've joined. It's a volatile emotional time right now, it really is. And I know it's really hard for people, but all this wokie lefty wiki, you know, just, just put yourself first and do a 3-day week and go and take the dog for a walk and, you know, let all this stuff instead of get bloody good at something and focus on making money. It does not make you a mercenary to focus on making money. Makes you good at making money. And I'll tell you what, right? If the shit hit the fan and everything was wiped and started again, I know I can make money again. And that is— there's a core belief in there that gives me strength when things are hard. Because by the way, I have done $250 million in sales, you know, in the 18 years I've been an entrepreneur. I've written 19 books on business and money. I've got 340 rental units. I have done A, B, C, D, E, F, G. But it is hard at times for me too. And just because I've done all that, by the way, doesn't make it easier. Like, in some ways, the last 4 years have been the hardest 4 years, harder than the first 4 years, just because of everything that's happened in the world. But when you've got that unshakable, like, pilot light inside you, that burning fire where you know how to make money, you know how to launch a business, you know how to hustle, that is going to be the core of your self-worth. And all this wokey, lefty, weak and hippie shit. Underneath that is just a broken person who needs benefits, who needs people to support them, who wants all the money from the billionaires and the capitalists but doesn't want to do any work for it. Underneath, weak people. And that's just because times have been good. Times are not good anymore. The reality, times are harder. So Rosemary has the burning fire in her and Rosemary is a dedicated and loyal member of Rob.team. Now, if you join Rob.team right now, um, you've got that fastest way to get 10 grand a month training I'm doing this Sunday. And but also there's some special bonuses in there. I did a training on the fastest ways to get 10 grand in the next 30 days and a workbook manual to go with it. You get access to that if you're quick by joining Rob.team now. Also, if you have children, your kids can share your login, and all kids under 18 will always get a free membership to Rob.team. I'm launching a financial homeschooling education mastermind on Rob.team for kids under the age of 18, and my 12-week, 16-hour Money Mastermind University, which is basically what they should teach in schools and college about money, but they won't and they don't. I did my own version from an entrepreneur that's actually made money, and that's a £700 online course. It's not quite— the content is all done, it's in Rob.team. I've got to do the thumbnails and a bit of editing. While it's in Rob.team sitting there, you can get it for free and I'll take it out once I sell it. So Kira's interested in all the kids' stuff. I think Kira's a member of Rob.team. So just type in Rob.team because my deepest shame is not feeling good enough. And that should be your deepest shame. And the way you get rid of that deep shame is to get good at something. And the best thing to get good at is knowing how to make money, because when you make money, you can buy everything that you want to feel good about yourself. Thanks for tuning in, and remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything.
