My New Money School (& How You can Get Wealthy)

Rob Moore is closing Rob.team and launching Money.school, a financial education community he wants to grow to 200,000 members by 2030. He argues that starting new businesses is too risky, with 90% failing in the first three years, and recommends buying existing proven businesses instead. He's hosting a live Sunday Zoom session on business acquisitions at robmoore.live/sunday.

I'm shutting down my business. So I've got an announcement to make in this video. And quite frankly, there's carnage going on in the UK. Every week I speak to people I've known in business for 15 or 20 years that are shutting their business down or their business is kind of going under. Or every week I speak to someone who's leaving for Dubai or Lisbon or Monaco. And this great nation is being absolutely ruined by Conservatives and now Labour. And I'm also shutting down my business, which I'll mention in a moment. Now, I've been an entrepreneur for nearly 20 years, and people always ask me, what might I do differently if I were to start again? And I would do things quite differently. So I'll talk about that in a moment. Many other of my business peers are letting go of most of their staff and they're changing their business model to be AI-driven. Now, we already have high unemployment in the UK and Labour pulled a massive multi-billion pound investment into AI. My business partner is doing a master's kind of degree in AI as we speak at the top college, probably in the world. And many people I know in business, they do not want to hire staff anymore. They want to leverage AI and automation and AI agents. And all of this is the evolution and revolution of technology. But it's also how much our country is being ruined by our governments. And employment will only go higher, and people's ability to work will only get worse, and taxes will only go up, and universal credit and a central digital currency will only happen quicker. And this is why everyone's fucking leaving. So if anyone in the government are watching this, what are you doing? You need to support small business. You need to reduce tax. You need to give us grants and subsidies and support to want to hire people. We should be getting people off the streets and giving them apprentice roles and making people feel like they want to work again. Instead of rewarding them by giving them 25 or 30 grand not to work and a house, which is what happens to most of them. Like, I go on the streets, I'm walking the streets soon here, and I talk to them and I say, why don't you get a job? And they say, there's no point because I'll lose my house and I'll lose my benefits and I'll earn less. So Labour, Conservatives before, government, sort shit out. Support small business. All the millionaires are leaving. Okay, so the business that I'm closing down is Rob.team, and I'm changing and evolving it into Money.school. People have been confused about this because I have more than 10,000 members of Rob.team. So Rob.team was essentially a platform where you can follow me and get content on business. But actually, my mission has changed and evolved since what's gone on with bloody Labour. And now my vision is to help as many people on the planet get better financial knowledge. And you are getting robbed of good financial knowledge and education. So I'm closing down Rob.team. I've evolved it into and relaunched into Money.school. And my goal is to have 200,000 members across the world by 2030. We have 12,000 members, movers, shakers, game changers, who are all looking to get better financial education and knowledge. Now I'm not here to tell you about that. I'm just here to tell you what I'm doing because I put my neck out a lot and I take risks and I call out what's going on in the system. And so I'm launching— well, I have launched my own global money school, which costs less than 1% of a college degree. Not including all the debt you'll rack up. So I just want to be clear, I'm closing Rob.team and it's evolved into now it's called Money.school. Now something I'm not doing because I'm fucking stubborn and I refuse, Labour will not win, I'm not shutting my main business down. I've got almost 100 staff, we run the UK's largest property training business. We are researching AI, we are implementing AI, We probably could hire about another 17 to 20 staff if the national insurance hadn't fucking gone up crazy money. And if the government actually wanted us to help, to help us employ people. So we could easily be 120 staff instead of 100, but we've had to keep that down and invest in systems and software and AI. I don't really want to do that. I love being around people and building a team and building a culture. But you probably need, if you're growing your business and you're not at 100 staff, you probably need to do it differently to me. You probably need to think about leveraging AI. You probably need to think about systems and software and automation and not having an office and not having staff. And that kind of sucks, but that's the reality. So here's one more thing I'd do differently if I had to start again. I wouldn't start a business, I'd buy one. Or I'd figure out a way to control and own a business that existed. Because if you look at the data, What is it, 90% of businesses fail in the first year, something like another 90% of them fail in the next 3. So it's really hard to start a business and make it successful. Mine is in its 20th anniversary next year. So it kind of makes us a unicorn in some ways. If I was to go back and start again, I'd probably look to buy an existing one or get involved and work under as a number 2 or a number 3 an entrepreneur and then get my way into his company and get shares that way. Now I didn't do that. I started my company from scratch and, you know, sweat equity and graft. But actually in 2008 I bought a business that was a multi-million pound company that got smashed in the recession. I bought it for £5 grand, I turned it around, and then we turned it up to be an 8-figure revenue business. And actually thinking about it, that might have been the better, quicker way to start. And with how hard business has got now, that could be a smart way to go. It does depend on the business, it does depend on your experience. So get this, for the first time ever, I'm really excited about this, we're actually doing a special Sunday session where I've got an expert on buying businesses. So if you're worried about the startup environment, you're pissed off with labor like I am, you're worried about hiring staff, take all that risk out by buying an existing proven business that already works. Now, by the way, it doesn't have to be your money. No one said that. You could partner with someone to buy it. You could vendor finance it. There's many different ways to do the deal. And this isn't something we've ever taught inside Money.School, previously Rob.Team before. So I'm very excited to announce this. But because this is quite a big thing, it's something we've never taught before, I'm actually going to give access to this training in this for a one-off for all of you, not just Money.School members. So if you want to jump on the, the Zoom and register, the link is robmoore.live/sunday. Rob Moore dot live forward slash Sunday. I wonder if you can guess what day it is. Now, by the way, there's no recordings or replays unless you're a Money.School member. But if you go to that link now, and you're going to need to type it, so you're going to need to leave this Zoom, come leave this live, come back in a minute. Leave, type in robmoore.live/sunday. You'll see there are 9 main things we're going to cover and teach. Um, the person who's teaching this is an expert in buying businesses. He's been buying businesses not in his niche that are already existing cash machines. He's going to teach you how to do the same. He's a partner of mine now. He's also my gold and silver investing mentor. He's a proper entrepreneur, very entrepreneurial. And thinking about it, if I was, you know, people always ask me, what would you do if you were going back to the start and starting again? I'd probably try and buy a business quicker or take over an existing business which had gone through those first 3 years of pain where nearly all businesses fail. And in today's world where taxes are really high and everyone's leaving and AI is disrupting and staffing costs more and more and more and more and labor don't fucking care about you, by the way, you can still win, but it's just harder and I'm not leaving. You're probably quite smart to consider buying or getting into someone else's business because, you know, 99% of the failure rate is gone. So if you want to learn how to do this, first time ever we've taught this inside money.school, the link is robmoore.live/sunday. There's 9 things we're going to teach. I'm going to interview this expert. I bought a company for 5 grand which I turned around to be an 8-figure revenue business. We bought a letting agency and got hundreds of new properties under management in our current letting agency. And to be honest, right now we're looking to buy more businesses. Here's the thing as well, because Labour have fucking ruined the country and Conservatives set them up nicely to ruin the country, so many businesses are going to struggle. So there's going to be cheaper businesses to buy. So it's actually a great opportunity for you to start to discover how to do this. So the link is robmoore.live/sunday. No recordings, no replays unless you're a Money.School member. I think you're going to love it. Most people don't think like this. This is probably what I'd be doing differently if I started again. I'm definitely doing more of it now. I'm looking for businesses to buy in my niches. So we'll cover the systems of how to achieve this, even if you're not using your own money. And just for the avoidance of doubt, because a lot of people have asked me about this, like I said, I'm shutting down Rob.team, and Rob.team is now Money.school. All members of Rob.team have been moved across. If you haven't, then make sure you DM me if you don't think you're into the new platform. And my new mission is to help as many people on this planet get better financial education while the system tries to cover up and hide how money really works, because they want to consume from you. I can teach you how to beat the banks at their own game and win. So we'll see you Sunday. The link is robmoore.live/sunday. Reduce the failure rate by taking an existing business rather than starting a new one in very disruptive times, and maybe look at buying some businesses cheap or no money down as many businesses are failing or leaving or being sold. That's just the reality, so you can take advantage. robmoore.live/sunday.
