My PLEA to Labour

This is my plea to Labour, my desperate plea. First off, I want to say congratulations. I'm not a bitter guy. I never thought I'd be congratulating Labour on being in power. As a pro-entrepreneur, you know, I believe that the economy is one of, if not the most important factors you know, in the well-being of humans. It is how we exchange value. A healthy economy usually means good public services, and the economy is not healthy right now. And generally speaking, Labour tend to alienate the entrepreneurs. They tend to be more socialist, communist. So I never thought I'd be saying congratulations to Labour. I just want to make a quick plea for Labour now that they are in power. Labour have an unprecedented opportunity to turn this country around and make it great again. And Conservatives have systematically ground this country down such that many entrepreneurs I know have now left or are leaving. The public services are seemingly at rock bottom. The national debt is seemingly at its height. You know, our relative cost of living is as bad as it was immediately after the Second World War. So this country is in an absolute mess, and Labour have an unprecedented and unique opportunity to turn this country around. And they have a very low bar because of how the country has been ruined. They have an opportunity to improve the police, improve the NHS. They have an opportunity to turn the economy round, sort out the cost of living crisis. And if they just go in and hike taxes up and exile all the entrepreneurs, the billionaires, like you kind of fear that they will, they're going to make this country even worse. So I, I make this plea to Labour. Please do the right thing. Please incentivize entrepreneurship. Please bring back all these billionaires. Give them some benefits to being in this country so that we can create employment and economy. Bring the VAT relief back so we can bring all the overseas shoppers to come to the UK and spend loads of money here. One of the ways we increase the economy is increasing the spending. Now, if it's hard in the UK, why don't we bring in all the spenders from all over the world? We don't have to have them all live here. Instead of letting in everyone into the UK that doesn't have any money, that's going to be a financial drain on the system, why did we send everyone away who actually had billions to spend here and hire here? And the more people spend here, the more taxes Labour will generate because obviously there's VAT and other duties on everything spent. So it's a paradox. You send everyone away, you penalise the rich, you get— now here's the thing, Labour have got their votes now. Labour have done all the popularity contests. They've got all their votes by, you know, oh, we're going to increase school fees and let's hate on the rich and get all the votes. Let's hate on the landlords and get all the votes. They've got the votes now. They are now in. So why don't they now do the right thing? Because probably the best way to whoop up the economy is to bring in loads of money. Because the thing is, if they just whack taxes up— I mean, the taxes are now the highest since late '70s, early '80s. So if they whack taxes up even more, they're going to send the rest of the money out to other countries. They're going to exile all the money. And so the only way that they're going to generate any revenue is more taxes, uh, and they're going to bite the hand that feeds them. And that is a scary situation. So my plea to Labour is Don't raise taxes. In fact, why don't you reduce taxes? Why don't you be bold and brave and reduce taxes and bring in all the money? You know, make London the tax haven of the world like it always was. Now that you're in, you don't have to do a popularity contest anymore. Labour, why don't you be the first party in a long time that actually gets new productive policies through, that actually makes change? Instead of wanting to just be something, be a careerist politician, why don't you do something great? Why don't you actually make change? Because you have a chance to bed yourself in in history in making Great Britain great again. So maybe you will, maybe you won't. Now look, you look at labor historically, they don't like entrepreneurs and they don't like the wealthy, and they tend to steal off of us and give to the, you know, the working class. And there's a high chance that they're going to do more of that again.
