Never Give Money to These 3 People ⛔️

In this live YouTube talk, financial educator Rob Moore warns viewers about the financial pitfalls of giving or lending money to certain groups and offers a broader investment strategy. He outlines three primary categories of people to avoid giving money to: (1) the government and related low‑return schemes such as premium bonds and savings accounts, especially in high‑inflation environments; (2) the homeless, arguing that many are able to earn money through begging and that direct cash aid often fuels welfare dependency, recommending instead to provide food, books, or other productive help; (3) friends, family, and children, stressing that loans can damage relationships and that children should earn money through chores or side‑hustles rather than receive pocket money. He also cautions against lending to individuals with bad credit or heavy debt, as past behavior predicts future risk. Moore then shifts to asset diversification, urging listeners to spread wealth across physical assets (gold, silver), real estate, broad market indices (S&P 500, FTSE 100), and a modest, carefully chosen exposure to cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum) while avoiding most alt‑coins and lottery‑type gambling. He discusses profit‑taking strategies for crypto and the importance of securing gains in stable assets. The remainder of the session is a promotional pitch for his membership platform, rob.team, and the 10‑module Money Mastermind University, which promise courses on wealth creation, tax reduction, multiple income streams, property investing, personal branding, and digital asset building. He also shares personal credentials (17 years in property, 340 rental units, a large UK property training company) and offers advice on digital income sources such as social media, domain names, and membership sites. Throughout, he answers viewer questions about specific investment choices, risk management, and how to purchase gold/silver.

Warning: never give money to these 3 people. I have here written behind me the 3 types of people that it would be a financial disaster for you to give or lend money to, and I'm going to share those in a moment. Firstly, I think you need to be very careful when giving your money to the government. You know, people think they're buying premium bonds. Oh, this is good, I'm going to be a millionaire in premium bonds, even though they give virtually no return. Since COVID in what, 2020, inflation has been double digits. So at times, leaving your money in a savings account, this very dodgy thing to do with your money. Who knows how solvent the government are? So, um, be careful with your money and try and avoid all these schemes and scams. Like high inflation, high interest rates. Now, the first— this shocked me, um, but I used to like to give money to the homeless. And I was in my city in Peterborough, and there were some, um, community support workers. And I said, 'Can't you help the people who are homeless on the street? And, um, you know, is there not a way to support them?' And, um, I was told that they make— they can make £150 or £200 a day begging. They have their own house, um, and they come and professionally beg, and they make £150 or £200 a day, and they probably don't pay tax on it. And off they go. And I used to give the homeless quite a lot of money, and I feel like a bit of a mug for that, and maybe a bit soft. But I think more important than giving the homeless money is to maybe buy them food, give them a book. Um, but if you give them money, they're having it away at the moment. Um, the next one is friends and family. So if you give money to friends and family, um, or lend money to friends and family, then you're at risk of ruining that relationship, and you could end up, um, with a big family split over a few hundred or a few thousand pounds. Um, is it worth it? I don't know if you've got any stories watching here of any issues you've had lending or giving money to friends and family. Um, but I recommend if you are going to give money to friends and family, don't expect it back. Give it as a gift. Um, because when it comes to businesses and contracts with family They'll take liberties, they'll pay you back late if ever, they'll let you down, and they'll think they can get away with it. And it could end up really damaging long-standing relationships. And I personally don't believe in giving kids pocket money. I think that they should have— they should do various chores as part of their upkeep, even if they're quite young. And I think you should give them the ability to earn money. So give them extra jobs over and above general upkeep and give them a good opportunity to earn money, or, um, you know, to start a little side hustle. But just giving them pocket money, I think, you know, that's almost teaching them to be on welfare, teaching them to have a handout. Not teaching them to be creative and innovative and resilient. So don't give money to the government, don't put money in premium bonds, be very careful with savings accounts, spread your money around different asset classes. Don't give money to the homeless because, you know, many of them are making $150 and $200 a day and sort of gaming the system, and you're really just supporting welfare. Buy them some food, buy them a coffee, give them a book. I walk around the streets of Peterborough and I interview them and ask them questions and give away money. Do something more, more productive for them, with them. The third type of person I believe you should never give money to is people in bad— with bad credit, um, people in a lot of debt and who, uh, have previously proven that they're really poor with money. And, um, in your mind you might think that you're helping them. In your mind you might think that they'll change, but the past generally dictates the future. So, um, I personally would not go into business with anyone in bad credit. If they've been bankrupt or bust or, um, you know, had quite a lot of creditors, stay away from them. It's not worth it. You'll end up losing a load of money. So let me know what you think in the comments. Quick summary is I believe you should never give money— don't put money in premium bonds. Um, be careful when you put money in the bank in savings account because, um, watch how much interest you're really getting and how safe it really is. And maybe you might want money in silver, maybe you might want it— want money in gold. You definitely want money in, in property. Um, don't give money to the homeless, don't give money to friends and and family. Um, don't just give money to kids without them earning it, and don't give money to people in bad debt and bad credit. Now, if you'd like to learn how to make, manage, and multiply more money, if you'd like to create multiple streams of recurring income, you'd like to be a lot better with your money, if you'd like to maybe get your tax bill down and your income up, if you'd like to create multiple streams of income, if you'd like to learn all the things in, um, about money that they didn't teach you in school that they should have done, I recommend you join rob.team. About how it makes money from you and how you can reverse that to make money from the system, understand how the monetary system works, the mindset, the skillset, the strategies, and the tactics of wealth. Andy said, who shouldn't I give money to? I've just joined on. Don't give money to the homeless. A lot of people get upset with me when I say that, but they're making $150 to $200 a day professionally begging when they've got their own accommodation, they're on welfare, they don't actually want to work because it's not worth them working. Don't give money to friends and family unless you don't want it back, unless you're giving it as a gift because um, you know, they'll take liberties. They'll pay you late. They'll pay you, um, if, if at all. Um, and don't give money to people in bad debt or credit, um, or without any kind of security or charge. Um, I don't think you should give the government much of your money. I think you should be really careful. Um, I know interest rates have gone a bit up and your savings are a bit better now, but spread your money around different accounts. Make sure it's decentralized. Put some of it into silver, some of it into gold, um, put some of it into the S&P 500, the FTSE 100, some of it into real estate. Be careful that you're not controlled by the system when it comes to money. And if you want to get a whole university degree of money from one of the best-selling books on money, one of the best-selling authors on money in the whole country, then just type in rob.team. Rob.team. For 22 pence a day, you can cancel anytime, no ongoing contract. There's Sunday sessions every Sunday. There's 2 deep dive live masterclasses a month. I've got guest expert multi-millionaires, I've got billionaires that come in and do talks and Zoom sessions for you. Um, and we've got a fast approaching almost 10,000 total members, um, in Rob.team. Since COVID I actually— when COVID happened, I dropped the price quite low down, £30 a month. I think it was down to what, £6 a month? It's about £8 a month now. I haven't put it up to £30 a month or £50 or £100 post-COVID, um, because actually I just wanted to keep supporting people because I think people are still struggling. I think that, you know, the government are in trillions of debt, and even though inflation looks like it's coming down since 2020, it's been ridiculously high. You might have lost 35% of the value of your money in the last 3 years or so, who knows. Um, so you know, you have to beat inflation and you have to diversify your assets so that they can't be stolen or taxed the hell out of. You have to get good accountants to learn how to get your tax bill down and your income up. And this is something that I've been doing for 17 years. Got 340 property rental units to manage, 1,300, 1,350 in my management company. Got the biggest property training company in the UK. We help tens of thousands of people a year invest for freedom, choice, and profit. So this is my life's work, and I'd love to help you. And if you just type in rob.team, you could start immediately. You can consume hundreds of hours of courses, resources, and masterclasses, and you can make, manage, and multiply money and cash in on the property crash. And Matthew said, what shouldn't I invest in? Um, I don't, I don't recommend most cryptos. I think Bitcoin's okay, pretty good, maybe here for the long term. Ethereum maybe. But most cryptos are just shitcoins, and I think you've got to be very careful. Um, if you want to speculate, someone was trying to get me to invest into Casper. This was like, it's going to be the next big thing. Okay, so let's say '10 grand's not a lot of money to me,' or '2 grand's not a lot of money to me.' Put 0.5% of your wealth into something, um, that's speculative— could go big, um, but also could go bust. So, um, I would not invest in most cryptos. I wouldn't invest in premium bonds. I think the, the return is really low. I wouldn't buy lottery tickets and gamble. Um, so yeah, there's some of the things that I wouldn't invest in. And Ben has said digital property investment. Yeah, um, I think, uh, Rob.team is a big digital asset for me, and, um, that's been running now a few years. That's totaling nearly 10,000 members. We've got, um, many hundreds of members on the gold level. So I don't know what that's worth, but if you times the income by a multiplier of 10, because in, um, online businesses you get a much higher multiplier. Rob.team might be worth a few million quid for sure. And if I changed the name of it and made it more generic and got the members up to 50,000, could be worth tens of millions of pounds. Um, you might be good at buying various domain names. You know, there's all these.ai domain names that have come out now. Um, I've just grabbed, uh, one of my domain names for.ai. I know someone who made a load of money on.club domain names. The thing with the internet is, um, it's so new. I, I think that I do like digital assets. I like assets that the government can't control or steal from you, or that are relatively safe and secure. Um, I like some physical ones like gold and silver and real estate. I like some spread ones like the S&P 500 or the FTSE 100. Um, and then, you know, maybe software, um, or membership sites or your social media channels. So for example, I earn on TikTok, I earn on Facebook, I earn on YouTube, I earn on Instagram, I earn on my podcast, I earn on a lot of my Shorts. Um, and you can very quickly build multiple streams of digital income. The challenge with social media is the, the, the, the extremities of the reach. Sometimes I get millions of views, sometimes I get in the low thousands of views. So, you know, maybe you want to look at having a decentralized platform for your membership site, something like patreon.com or locals.com, you know, where you're a bit less sort of manipulated, if you like, by the algorithms. But at the same time, it can work the other way, and you can be very new. Do you know micro-influencers right now are doing very well? You know, just a few thousand or in the low tens of thousands of followers, but really niched, really loyal. These people with multi-millions of followers now, the, the algorithms are killing their reach, um, and the sponsors are turning their back on them and not giving them big money anymore. Um, and sort of the, the more niched, nuanced, um, even relatively startup type of, um, creator, it seems to be winning quite well at the moment. Okay, let's have a look if I've got any questions. I put $100 in ITP and I'm sitting on $1,500 now. I need to start taking money out. You might want to put it into silver, into gold. I think if you make money in crypto, um, try and get your initial outlay back. And once you've got your initial outlay back, um, and maybe take some of the profits and put them into silver and gold, um, then once you've— once you, um, start making some half-decent money, um, you're not gonna feel the booms and busts quite so much. If you took out your principal, um, and then maybe as you money— as you make money, you cash in a percentage and you reinvest the percentage. Because I actually see people that hold too long and they end up being worth $10 million on paper and then worth $1 million on paper, or $500,000 on paper, or $300 grand in reality, um, because they were too bullish and they kept reinvesting and reinvesting or not taking money out. If you put a grand in and you're up to 5 grand, pull your grand back out. Okay, so I've got 4 grand now in, um, maybe take 2 out and then leave 2 in. And if it goes up to 10, maybe take 50/50 of your profits. Um, but don't be too bullish or too bearish. Anyway, look, I've been on here long enough. Um, never give money to the homeless, never give money to friends and family, never give money to people in bad debt or with credit issues. Never give money to the government. Never put money in premium bonds. Never lend money without security, especially a first charge or a personal guarantee, if you want to hold on to your wealth and, you know, make sure that you don't ruin relationships and families in the process. If you want to learn to make, manage, and multiply more money, learn how to invest. Learn how to build recurring and passive income. Cash in on the crash. Build multiple streams of income, get your tax bill down and your earning up, then join rob.team. If you wanna make 10 grand a month on 10 hours a week, make 100 grand a year clear, start and scale your business, make, manage, and multiply money, it's all in rob.team. Hundreds of hours of courses, resources, and masterclasses going back years. Type in r-o-b dot t-e-a-m, rob.team. Simple and easy to join, cancel anytime, 22 pence a day, no ongoing contract. I reduced the price in lockdown. I haven't really put the price back up. Um, it was a lot more back then. And if you join now, you can get my 10-module 12-hour Money Mastermind University.
