In this YouTube monologue, Rob Moore denounces recent banking practices he calls "debanking," recounting how his long‑time bank seized £12,000 from his multiple accounts without warning and forced him to submit extensive paperwork to retrieve it. He links these actions to a broader pattern where banks freeze or close accounts for reasons such as low usage, political views, or involvement in crypto, gold, or cash transactions. Moore cites Nigel Farage’s recent statements at a crypto conference, where Farage promised to make debanking illegal and cut crypto‑asset tax to 10%, arguing that such reforms would protect personal financial freedom and could even position Bitcoin as a reserve asset. Transitioning to entrepreneurship, Moore argues that starting a new business is increasingly difficult in the UK due to high taxes, regulation, and a hostile political climate, but suggests a lower‑risk alternative: buying an existing, established business. He shares his own experience of purchasing a letting agency during a recession for £5,000 and scaling it to a £10 million enterprise. To help viewers act on this strategy, Moore promotes a free live training session (robmoore.live/sunday) featuring a mergers‑and‑acquisitions expert, outlining nine agenda points on acquiring and operating existing businesses. The video blends political commentary, personal grievance, and a sales pitch for the training, urging viewers to oppose debanking and consider business acquisition as a path to financial independence.

Nigel Farage would make debanking illegal. So he's just, um, spoken at a crypto conference, and he, were he in power, would make debanking illegal, and he would reduce tax on crypto assets. Now, I'm going to come back to that, but, um, A few days ago, one of my banks— I've banked with them for 40 years. I currently have probably 12, maybe even 15 bank accounts with them. There's tens of millions of pounds that circulate through these accounts, probably on a weekly basis. And they just took $12,000 of my money. They didn't ask. They didn't give any warning. They just took the money. Now with this many bank accounts and that much money, that could easily slip through the net. So we found it and we contacted the bank and they're like, oh yeah, yeah, we did. And now we have to submit ID and go through all this process and give all this paperwork to get our own money back. This is insane. And had we not noticed it, No, oh, their, their reason was we weren't using the account enough. So you put too much money in an account, you get charged loads of interest. If you borrow too much, your credit score goes down. If you don't use the account enough based on how much they want you to use the account, they just take your money. This is completely wrong, and the banks have far too much power, and now they've become political. And so Nigel Farage, he's a friend of mine, he got debanked. And based on an internal memo of his political views, they decided to shut his bank accounts with no notice. And then he tried to reapply to 9 different bank accounts, couldn't get a bank account. His family members couldn't get a bank account. Now, the banks seem to want it all ways. They seem to want to have all your money, borrow it all out, earn on it. You take all the risk. They want to loan you money. They want the debt. They want the interest. Oh, but then if you don't use the money how they want, or if you want your money back, they just debank you. So one of my clients, um, bought a little bit of crypto. We're talking in the low thousands of pounds. Account got frozen. Banks can now legally freeze your money for 30 days basically without having to ask any questions. And they made her write that it was a scam and they wouldn't give her money back unless she declared it was a scam. This is ridiculous. Banks are stopping you buying gold, banks are stopping you buying crypto, banks are stopping you taking cash, and it's your fucking money. This is insane. And this is real, by the way, and this is happening every day. Some of you might be like, oh yeah, Rob, you've talked about this before. No, these are new stories every day. Anyway, so Nigel Farage was at the big crypto conference and he said he'd reduce, um, tax on crypto assets to 10%. Great idea. I think he wants to bring in Bitcoin into the reserve, you know, the reserve currency. Potentially good idea. And he wants to make debanking illegal, um, i.e., banks can't just shut you down, they can't just choose that they don't want you, um, in their banking system anymore because of your political views. And to me personally, I really embrace this. And with all this going on in the world, everything's got a bit mad, and it makes me realize that the world has kind of changed. And I've always taught entrepreneurs for the last 20 years to start their own business, and it's still possible even though it's harder. It's still possible even though the taxes are higher. It's still possible even though Labour hate entrepreneurs. But I've kind of changed my thinking a little bit, and I'm going to help you with this because now I think maybe an easier way to have your own business is to buy an existing one or take over an existing one. Because, um, I think the stats are something like 90%+ of businesses fail in the first year, 90%+ of those fail in the next 3 to 5 years. So, you know, you're at 1% business survival rate over the um, what, 5-year period. Now I'm in that 1% and I'm not quitting, and business is good, but that's only because I refuse for it not to be anything but good. Um, but you know what, I'm going to start opening up some information, training, and another point of view to give you more options, which is what about taking a 3 or 5-year-old or 10-year-old business on? You could either earn your way in, go and work as a number 2, or you could, um, use someone else's money and buy the business. and this could be a great way to beat those odds. So because of this, for the first time ever, one of my partners who's an expert in mergers and acquisitions and buying businesses, and he's been buying businesses himself, um, for many years, he's going to come and teach this. Now usually this kind of training I'd only do for Money.School members, but seeing as this is the first time, um, ever for Money.School and the first time in a decade, I think, in my community, I'm going to give you access. You won't need to pay. Um, you can just join on this link. So the link is robmoore.live/sunday. Rob Moore dot live forward slash Sunday. I wonder if you can guess what day it is. Now, I'm not going to charge you to join there, but there will be no recordings or replays unless you're a Money.School member. You get the recording, and there's 9 agenda points we're going to cover, and you can see the agenda on the link. You can't click the link, you're going to need to go and type in the link, um, and it is robmoore.live/sunday. And for sure, right now things are changing. It's harder to do business in the UK, it's harder to manage your money in banks, there is much more taxation, there is much more regulation and red tape. But it will change, especially if reform and my friend Nigel gets in. Nigel's got a lot more common sense than these political leaders. Nigel's got a lot more business experience because none of the top 5 people in Labour have ever even run a business. I support having relatively low taxes to start with crypto to encourage that to grow. I support potentially a new reserve that's not based on the pound or the dollar, but of course that's complicated. And I definitely support no one should be debanked and you should be able to choose what you invest and spend your money on. and not be banned from investing in crypto, or not having them just take your money because you're using the account not enough or too much, or because you put a post on social media. That's completely wrong, completely wrong. And if you agree with me, maybe you want to come on this, um, Zoom and learn how to take an existing business where you can get tax breaks, you can use other people to fund it, and you can reduce all that risk. I still teach startups, um, but this is a strategy that I actually have done a few times. And I don't really give myself enough credit for it, but I bought a letting agency. I bought a business in the last recession for £5,000 that I turned around to be more than a £10 million business. So we're going to teach you how to do this. The link is robmoore.live/sunday. Go register now. Go type in the link into some webpage. There's the 9 agenda points, you'll see it. Don't miss it. No recordings, no replays. And then stand up and speak out against all this debanking nonsense. Remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything.
