Oasis ‘Dynamic Pricing’ Ticket Warning ⛔️

Rob Moore defends Oasis ticket price surges as basic supply and demand, comparing them to airline and hotel pricing. He argues critics won't attend anyway and notes the reunion could bring £1 billion to the UK economy, similar to Taylor Swift's tour.

Oasis dynamic pricing. All this scandal about how expensive Oasis tickets are. Well, I'm going to come from it from another angle. Stop bloody moaning about it, right? So everyone moaning about the dynamic pricing of Oasis tickets. Well, number one, you'd freaking do it if you were a ticket tout. If you made your money selling tickets, um, if you were a promoter, you'd do exactly the same and you know it. I find it funny that all these people moaning about Oasis ticket prices, and one, they probably won't go, and two, they probably spent 3 times as much on a Stone Island top. So don't buy a Stone Island top and you can afford 3 Oasis reunions Not one. So let's talk about dynamic ticket pricing, because look, I understand it doesn't feel fair when hotels and flights and school holidays and gigs like Oasis, the prices soar when there's higher demand. That's how pricing works. If you studied money, if you read my book Money, or if you're a member of Rob.team, You'd understand that that's how pricing works. So the more demand there is, i.e., the more buyers there are than sellers, price goes up. It is a natural law of economics and pricing. The lower the demand there is, price goes down. Now, you're either going to spend £500 on a pair of Oasis tickets and enjoy yourself and have an amazing experience and know that it generated hundreds of millions into our economy. And our economy fucking needs it because our economy is fucked. So I say hallelujah to Oasis getting back together. I say hallelujah if Oasis make £400 million because that means there might be a few hundred million of money floating around the economy pumped in. I say hallelujah to it all. I say to people, stop bitching and moaning about dynamic pricing. If it really pisses you off, watch them on TV. It'll cost you virtually nothing. Most people who moan about things don't actually do it. This is how business works. If you were a ticket tout, or if you were an entrepreneur, if you owned a hotel or an airline, you'd charge a lot more when you've got higher demand. That's how economics works. So I actually think this whole Oasis buzz is brilliant. I think the UK needs some nostalgia. Do you remember back in the day when you listened to Oasis and you felt good about being in the UK? You know, whenever we all sung along together and you could have a beer together without getting knifed. You know, you could have some banter without getting cancelled on social media. Do you remember the days when we used to go in the pub and drink and sing and life was great? And Oasis were a big part of that culture. And so it really feels like, let's bring this fucking nostalgia back. If I was Oasis manager with the, you know, the desire to improve the country, like the country needs improving, I'd be like, do as many gigs as you can, um, make us feel happy again, remind us of how great the UK was. Because it felt like when Oasis were huge, this country still had a lot about it, and now it's all fucked. So I embrace it all. Look, I don't want anyone to get ripped off. And, you know, the thing with ticket touting is in some ways it feels like you're getting ripped off because, you know, the normal price is £135 and you're paying £500. You know, that's 3 times the price. But you bought a Christian Dior bag for £3,000, which cost $60 to make. Like, I don't know if you've seen that meme going around, but there's a Dior bag costs about $57 to make. Sold for £3,000. You bought it and you didn't mow. And someone's wearing a Stone Island top, they paid £1,000 for a badge on their arm that says they, they like to fight at football games. So come on everyone, this is how the game works. And if you could make that high margin— also, let's defend the ticket, um, touts or the promoters for a little bit. I imagine a lot of the time they buy tickets and lose money on it. They're taking a risk, um, And it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for them. And I imagine business has been difficult for them. So I just wanted to give you a bit more of a realistic view of all the people moaning about Oasis tickets. Let's bring, um, Taylor Swift. I'm told, or I read, £1 billion basically was pumped into the UK economy with Taylor Swift coming over and doing her gigs. And I'm like, the UK needs a lot of that. I wonder if the government have spent that already. Probably. They've probably wasted it. On, I don't know, um, private jets for the Prime Minister or something. 40 million, 41 million was spent on Rishi's private jet travel, helicopter travel. Madness, madness. Anyway, so I just— let's get a fever pitch back in the UK. Let's get nostalgic about Oasis. Let's stop moaning about ticket prices. Let's go support the band. Let's go support the country. Um, let's make Britain great again. However, the sad reality is most people are broke. Most people don't know how money works. Most people are paying probably 70% of what they earn or what they spend and what they spend in tax and they don't know it. People are getting university educated and coming out with 35 years of debt. And this is all sad and I'm here to change this. My mission is to help as many people on the planet get better financial knowledge.
