Pay Your Mortgage Until You Die

Rob Moore argues that 30-year mortgages trap you into paying 2 to 2.5 times a house's value over your lifetime. He says the solution is either building enough income to make payments trivial or buying income-producing assets with borrowed money to turn the mortgage into free cash flow.

Pay your mortgage until you die. So I believe the ulterior motive of the banks linked to the governments— I believe they have 4 motives, and it's not conspiracy theory, it's just that's their motives. I would argue it's not humanitarian interest. You know, they are not a public service. For the people, and I'll share those 4 motives in a moment. But now it's very common to get offered 30-year-plus mortgages, 35-year mortgages. For many mortgage firms, you need to prove 2 incomes, which means you and your wife or you and your husband are both working full-time for 30-plus years paying off probably 2.5 times the value of your house in interest payments. Now, if you're in your 30s, which you might need to be in your 30s or your 60s to afford a house, and then you get a 30 or 35-year mortgage, you are paying your mortgage until you die. Now, that's okay if you have a master plan to beat the banks at their own game. If you are managing and multiplying your money wisely. But if you're playing the bank's game of money and you're paying your mortgage until you die, let's say you get an average £300,000 house, that's the average price at the moment. So for 35 years, you might end up paying £750,000 or more back And then you die because the average age, I think it's something ridiculous, like after you retire, about 3 years on average people die. Do you really want to be stuck in this trap and stuck in this system? Now I believe the 4 hidden motives of, you know, banks and central governments, they're supposed to be independent, I don't really believe they are, is debt tax interest compliance. You know, they want to tax you as much as they can, just to the point where you don't start a revolution. They have to in a way, because of how much debt they have and how much the public services cost. So they want maximum taxes from you, as high as they can get, boil the frog. And so, you know, you're pissed off, just not quite enough. To go and, you know, overthrow them. Interest on debt. So the way the banks make money is on your debt. They print money as debt, they transfer that debt to you, and then they want you to pay it back at 5, 8, 10% a year. And over 35 years, that can be 2, 2.5 times the capital value. So they want the debt, they want the interest. That's how they make their money. It's not conspiracy. It's not me, you know, complaining. It's just their business model. If you think about it, hats off, smart business model. Create money that you didn't earn, transfer the debt of that money onto us, and then get us to pay it back and times 2 and times 2.5. Think about it, smart business model. If I could buy a money printing machine right there and just print the money and everyone else has the debt and I get the interest, would I do it? You're fucking right I would. And they've made that legal. I mean, money printing, what an amazing invention for them. So they want that maximum. They want the debt on the car, the debt on the house, the debt on the conservatory, the debt on everything. They want the credit cards, the mortgages, the lot. And when you trace all the banks back, they go to a very few small number. Of very large companies. So this is the new world, and this is the way with the, the cost of living going through the roof, the cost of housing going through the roof, that means your amount of debt goes through the roof. That means your total payments, not even if the interest rate's at low-ish, your total payments go through the roof. It's all going through the roof. So if you want to break away from this system, I'm actually doing a Sunday session Zoom on how to make $5K a month on 5 hours a week. And I'm going to come from 2 angles here. How you can make more money to either pay off all this debt happily, because let's be honest, if you're making loads of money, it doesn't really matter. So really the solution is just be rich, or leave the country. They're the 2 solutions. But people do criticize me a bit of being a bit negative and all, Rob's always moaning, blah, blah, blah, blah. Some guy trolled me and shared my post about Dubai versus the UK. You have two choices, like, i.e., if you want solutions here, and I always end with solutions. Choice number one, leave. I'm not doing that. I've said I'm not doing that, even though I'm pushing this country hard because I don't think it's any good anymore. Or get so rich that it doesn't matter and you pay your tax and you don't like it, but it doesn't really hurt. You pay your interest, you don't really like it, it doesn't really hurt. And you've got a lot of money left because you're making a lot of money. They're your two choices. So on this Sunday session Zoom coming up, I'm going to talk about making an extra £5,000 a month on 5 hours a week, and I'm going to talk about saving an extra £5,000 a month on a few hours a week. So give me a yes in the comments. I'll do the Zoom, you know, I'll pay for the Zoom class. You follow me, I'm, you know, grateful to you. I'll give back. By the way, I like to make money as well. So yes, I'm a philanthropist and I have a foundation, but I also run a business. People like me are needed in this country, and you. So if you'd like to make an extra £5,000 a month on 5 hours a week extra work, or you'd like to kind of save that kind of money, i.e., get your tax bill down, work out how you can reduce your expenses so you're net winning on the way up when you earn and winning on the way down when you save, just put a yes in the comments. Actually, I'll tell you what I'll do, I'll give you the link straight direct. It's robmoore.live/sunday. I wonder if you can guess what day it's on. Rob Moore dot live— press the emoji button— robmoore.live/sunday. There's the Zoom link. Now this is one-off, no recordings, no replays. I won't even put it up in Rob.team because there's a lot of sensitive information about getting your tax bill down and reducing your expenses. And I don't want that shared. You know, the money-making strategies and tactics, a few simple things you can do that aren't technical, that aren't complicated, that can help you make £5,000 a month on 5 extra hours a week, probably doing what you already know, turning it into cash flow, just to help you get out of the debt trap that you might be in. But it's making on the way up, it's saving on the way down. I'll give you some tax-saving hacks and tips, and I'll give you some information on probably the best money hacker I know. I've got somebody who's very close to me, multimillionaire, best money hacker I've ever met. He could get a, he could get a tenner for a fiver from the central bank. He could negotiate them so hard. So there's going to be quite a lot of new content, at least 60% new content if you follow me on my Zooms. So the link is robmoore.live. Www.robmooore.com/sunday. Now, if you pay your mortgage until you die on the home that you own at a high interest rate for 35 years, you're going to struggle financially for the rest of your life. If you pay interest-only mortgages until you die, paid for from cash flow and rental income, then two people are paying your mortgage down for you. One, your tenant, and two, the government. As the government print more money, it reduces the value of money. It pays off their own debt through the back door. It pays off your debt through the back door. So there are actually ways that you can play the banks at their own game and win, and I'll cover this off on the Zoom on Sunday, robmoore.live/sunday. But beware, use the banks, don't let the banks use you. Use their debt to invest in assets to produce income that pays off the debt and essentially gives you the asset for free. Don't get trapped into cars and conservatories and expensive homes to live in just to keep up with everyone else. Don't go broke trying to look rich. Don't let the banks— don't let them— play them at their own game and win. And we're going to cover this on the Zoom. So be careful of these 35-year mortgages. Be careful of these introductory rates that lure you in and then you're stuck. Be careful if you have got mortgages and then the interest rates after your variable, after your fixed goes onto a variable, there's going to be a lot of interest rates that are going to, people's mortgages are going to double and triple in value in terms of their monthly repayments because they're coming off a 2%, 3% fixed to a 6% or 7% or 8% variable. This is all going to happen. It's been happening already. And that's one of the factors that could contribute to a house price crash. Now by the way, if there's a house price crash, you want to be the buyer, not the seller. Warren Buffett's liquidated $340 billion of cash. He thinks that the market's going to correct. When the market corrects, he wants to be a buyer, not a seller. Observe the masses, do the opposite. Be greedy when others are fearful, fearful when others are greedy. There's big opportunity coming up right now, but you have to be on the right side of it. So if you want to learn how to make £5,000 a month on 5 hours a week, if you want to make on the way up and save and get your tax bill and your other expenses down, and you want a few little hacks to cash in on the crash, it's all happening this Sunday on the Zoom. No cost, I'll cover that. It's robmoore.live/sunday.
