In this commentary, the speaker outlines the recent outâofâcourt civil settlement between Prince Andrew and Virginia Giuffre, stemming from the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. The judge has signed the settlement papers, ending the civil case and precluding any criminal action. Prince Andrew will pay an undisclosed multiâmillion sum, lose his royal titles, and donate to a victimsâ charity, while the royal family claims no public funds will be used, though assets may be sold. The speaker reflects on how this episode affects the global brand of the British monarchy, expressing sympathy for the Queen and questioning whether the settlement was appropriate versus a criminal trial. The discussion expands to broader moral dilemmas, the role of accountability, and the speakerâs own rebranding of his podcast from Disruptive Entrepreneur to Disruptors to address worldviews beyond business. He calls for greater humanity, humility, and higher standards amid global crises, urging viewers to share and comment.

So Prince Andrew is now officially settling out of court on the assault case brought to him by Virginia Giuffre in the whole Epstein debacle. The court papers have now been signed. Now I think this brings up a lot of moral dilemmas, and that's probably putting it mildly. So, um, the case is pretty much officially closed. That was a civil case, so there can now be no criminal case. The judge has signed the papers, and now the Duke of York, Prince Andrew, is having to pay an undisclosed settlement to Virginia Giuffre. Now, I reported this when it first happened. Um, because, you know, ultimately the royal family is a great British institution. It brings masses of tourism. It's a global brand. And the Queen has had to put up with issues with her, um, Charles, with Diana, Camilla, with, um, her grandson Harry and Meghan, and now Prince Andrew. And I wonder how the brand, the great global brand of the royal family, has been affected by this. So it's certainly to me the poor Queen, you know, her husband just died recently. And you know, that woman, what she does, the work, the commitment that she puts into her job, whether you believe in the royal family or not, she brings it. Never complain, never explain. You know, never speaks ill of others, it seems. And so yeah, she'sâ I just, I just want to say I feel really sorry for the Queen. So let me just update you on what's gone on here. So Prince Andrew will have to bear his own costs and fees. Uh, the Royal Family have said that they won't be footing the bill, though it's understood that some Royal Family assets could be sold to foot the bill. It's also been stated that public funds won't be used to foot the bill. I must admit to being somewhat skeptical on that. I wonder if, um, public or royal family funds will be used. Let's see. Will we ever really know? Prince Andrew has lost his titles, his ability to use His Royal Highness, uh, you know, and some of the titles that he's held for most of his life. Um, the Treasury stated no public money has been used to pay legal or settlement fees. It's an undisclosed amount. It's obviously going to be many millions. When I first reported on this, a lot of people said that they felt that Jeffrey should have gone all the way, and settling out of court, maybe, um, you know, was that the right thing to do? Um, because, you know, it looked pretty damning on the Epstein documentary. I don't know if you saw the documentary. I can't judge. I wasn't there. I don't know what happened behind closed doors. I think it's important to always say that. But it looked pretty damning. Um, and of course, um, there's some definite scandals going on behind the scenes. Epstein, uh, hanged himself in prison. Someone very close to the whole situation found hanged in prison. And it does make you wonder. Um, there have been suggestions that the Queen could pay using her private funds, but, uh, Buckingham Palace has refused to comment. Uh, so a settlement has been reached. It is over. The papers are signed. The out-of-court settlement accepted no liability, and Prince Andrew has always strongly rejected claims of wrongdoing. So The out-of-court settlement is apparently not an admission of guilt, but the Prince has agreed to pay an unspecified amount and donate to a charity for victims' rights, Miss Geoffrey's charity. He said he never intended to malign Miss Geoffrey's character, but he recognized that she suffered as an established victim of abuse and as a result of unfair public attacks. Let me know what you think in the comments. Um, the Duke also pledged to demonstrate his regret for his association with Epstein. Um, yeah, so number one, it's done. Number two, the papers are signed. Number three, there's going to be an undisclosed out-of-court settlement. It's obviously going to be many millions. It could be tens of millions. Who's going to pay it? Will the public pay it? Will the royal family pay it? Or will Prince Andrew have to pay it? It looks like he can't afford to pay it. Um, and it raises some moral questions around should it have been settled out of court? Should it have gone criminal, not just civil, etc. Um, but the prince has lost all his titles and on we move. I just want to talk about something else other than the war that's going on right now because I think this affects many people. So let me know what you think in the comments. Thanks for tuning in and following my work, my content. Um, you know, I generally comment on business and entrepreneurship, but I've rebranded my podcast Disruptive Entrepreneur to be Disruptors to talk about worldviews as well as business and entrepreneurship, because there's so much going on in the world that affects business and entrepreneurship that it's important to speak out about it. Howard here has said disgusting double standards. Yeah, look, it would have been nice to find out what actually happened and for any real victims to be able to be properly Well, look, Miss Jeffrey has got many millions of pounds, and some people said that that was wrong. But you know what, if it means all the public attention and the shame goes away and you can rebuild your life, then yeah. Shayna said hush money, maybe it is. But what would you do in that situation? It's a very difficult one to drag your family and yourself and bring all of those emotions all the way up again. Anyway, crazy stuff going on in the world right now. The world is crazy. And, um, yeah, I, I just think humanity needs to somewhat evolve again. I feel like we're slightly devolving. Anyway, thanks for tuning in. I just thought I'd give you the update on that because I commented on it before, and I mean, got 500,000 views. Now hopefully we can start doing some good in the world. I think we need more kindness, more humility, more care and concern for our fellow human being. None of us are perfect. We all make mistakes. I've made mistakes. We all need to hold each other account to mistakes. It's embarrassing and shameful when our mistakes are public, but we need to be held to account. And that is the same for me. And you do that to me, all of you in the comments who put me in my place or give me criticism. But we need to hold humanity to a higher standard, I really believe. With wars and COVIDs and lockdowns and Brexits and all this stuff going on, humanity needs to move to a higher standard. We need to transcend ourselves and start evolving again and think of each other as a oneness. And, you know, stop fighting against each other and trying to cancel each other and screwing each other over. If you agree with that, maybe you'd like to hit the share button. Thanks for tuning in, really appreciate you following me. That's the update, and remember this: if you don't risk anything, you risk everything.
