Putin Blames the West for War

Rob Moore examines Putin's claim that the West provoked Russia's invasion, made during a parade with 65,000 troops and 2,400 pieces of hardware. Western leaders call Russia's actions war crimes, yet Moore argues the West should offer Putin an escape route to prevent stalemate. He connects the war to inflation and supply disruptions, urging viewers to pressure governments and share his videos.

So Putin has just blamed the West for the war on Ukraine in front of tens of thousands of people in a Russian military parade. Now, whilst that news isn't new or surprising, it's probably the first public declaration and raises some questions I just wanted to explore with you. So just, um, breaking news right now is that there are military parades in 28 Russian cities involving 65,000 people and 2,400 items of military hardware and 400 aircraft. I mean, to me, this just seems crazy that we're in this situation. Um, now Putin has said that they are defending the motherland. He calls the invasion of Ukraine a special military operation. I'm not sure how, um, that to me just seems like language because surely it's an invasion of a war. Let me know what you think. Um, and he has stated that he's been provoked by the West. Now, many people were expecting that Putin might make more announcements in these parades in Russia, but as of yet, there have been no more announcements. Now, many people in NATO, in UK, in the US believe that Putin and Russia have committed war crimes. So I just want to ask you this and ask the world this: when does this war end? How does this war end? It seems crazy to me that in 2022, as evolved as we are as humanity and a species, you know, we, we have a vegan movement where we're considering how we should care for animals. We have a climate change movement where we're considering how we should look after our planet, yet we're still fighting wars. And of course, Ukraine and Russia is not the only war going on or that's gone on, and it seems that there are always wars. Now, some people say to me, well, Rob, we're just barbarians. That's what we are. Accept it. There will always be war. But if we all accept that there will always be war, then that's the guarantee that there will always be war. And surely together we must stand up and speak out. I did a video this morning calling 5 ways that I believe the government need to act now to support and save our country. And someone, some people were saying to me, but Rob, you're naive, the government are going to do nothing. In fact, this is all part of the plan. But again, if we don't together stand up and speak out, nothing changes, nothing. So I think it's really important that we keep doing our bit. Please share this video. Now, um, when it first started with Ukraine and Russia. I was doing a fair bit of, um, video content on it because I'm trying to use my platform for good. Raul has just said there, it's easy for me to say in the comfort of my home, my own home. I 100% agree. I'm not out there on the front line fighting the war. I don't have a gun in my hand. My family and my children aren't getting bombed. I agree. But I'm doing the next best thing that I think that I can, which is to stand up and speak out. Which is to encourage us all to discuss and push back on governments and dictators and totalitarianism and globalism. And I think that's a decent thing that we can all do. By the way, it's not just me. I'm asking you to share my videos. I'm asking you to speak up and stand up. And I used to think, well, unless I can have a gun and stand on the front line, there's no point. Just stay in your lane, Rob. Talk about business and entrepreneurship. Stay in your lane. But actually, if everyone had the attitude to say nothing and do nothing because it doesn't directly affect them, nothing will change. And this is why I'm continuing to talk about this. Ah, Raul said he wasn't talking to me, he was talking to Sharon. But Raul, that is a good point. You know, I, I could go and fight on the front line, but actually I'd be rubbish. I'd be dead. I'd be shot in a minute. I'd be, I'd be useless. But I believe if we all speak up and stand out, stand up and take a bit of a risk and, you know, make our opinions heard and be noisy and be a nuisance, together we can make a difference. So right now in Russia there's a military parade going on, 65,000 people, 2,400 items of military hardware and 400 aircraft. Everyone was wondering what Putin might say. All he really did was blame the war on the West and called it a special military operation rather than a war. And he has said that he's defending the motherland. And the UK Defense Secretary Ben Wallace believes that these are fairy tale crimes— crimes— claims— fairy tale crimes, definitely not that— fairy tale claims. And that Russia and Putin have, um, are war criminals, as have America have said the same thing. Now Biden has said the same thing. So anyway, let me know what you think is really going on, because I know a lot of you think there's more going on than meets the eye, um, and I'd love to know your thoughts. How does this war end? Because this could be a 10-year war. I don't see it ending anytime soon. What do you think? Now, a billionaire said to me one time, I was interviewing him for one of my podcasts and got to spend some time with him, and he said— I said to him, what's the best advice you've ever had? And he said, when you back a rat into a corner, always give it a hole to escape through. Now, I'm not calling Putin a rat, I don't know Putin, but if NATO and the West back him into a corner, you've got to give him an escape route. You've got to give him— he's not just going to down tools and down guns and say whoops, made a mistake. So you've got to give him something. How can he— you know, what can you give him that might make him feel like he's got something, like he's won something? I know, look, I'm no expert in negotiating peace treaties, but surely our world governments can get together and negotiate something so that we are at peace and not war. We should not be at war in 2022. We're far more of an evolved society now. We're far more aware. It seems ridiculous that we're fighting wars. It seems like we're devolving as a species, not evolving as a species. So I'm trying to do my bit. I've raised tens of thousands and gave that money to Ukraine, like I raised tens of thousands and gave that money to the NHS, and like's been kindly said here, I'm using my social media platform hopefully for good to talk about these important topical issues. I just think we should not be fighting a war, just like I think we should not be paying ridiculous amounts of money in tax, just like I think that oil companies should not be tripling their profits and making billions when we're approaching fuel poverty for many millions of people. I believe in your right for free speech, and I will fight for it. And these fundamental things, surely they're common sense. Yet common sense does not seem to be so common nowadays. So please hit the share button. Please let me know what you think on these topical issues. Remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything. And we are going to feel the effects of this war for decades to come. The massive inflation, the massive price rise in oil and gas and electric and food, and the supply chains completely restricted. When we had Brexit, then we had lockdowns, now we've got this war. This could be a 10-year depression if we are not careful, if we do not push back against our governments, get them to stop smashing the taxes up. Get them to stop spending tens of billions and hundreds of billions on wars. Let me know what you think. Quick summary is that there's a big military parade going on in Russia right now which seems to be some kind of celebration. They say they are defending the motherland and they say that they were provoked by the West. Well, this is what Putin says. Not sure about that. Let me know what you think about that. 65,000 people, 2,400 military hardware. Um, and to 400 aircraft. Um, yet the UK Defense Secretary believes that, um, Putin is a war criminal. So does Biden and America. Let me know what you think. Crazy times. We should not be here, but we are.
