Recurring Income While You Sleep š¦¾

Rob Moore breaks down how to build recurring income from evergreen assets like books, real estate, and content. A single 90-minute interview can generate over 20 revenue streams through YouTube ads, sponsorships, memberships, and creator funds. He teaches the WAVL method: repurpose each piece of content into written, audio, video, and live formats.

How to make recurring income while you sleep. Remember, I have been quoting Warren Buffett: if you don't make money while you sleep, you'll be working until you die. Now you have to be careful here because on the one hand, recurring and passive income, residual income, relentless income, it is possible. But the scammy, schemey, massive passive income, do no work ever, click a button, press the green or the red and you'll be a billionaire, Rodney. That is a scam. So we have to get it right. There is recurring and passive income, but you have to work hard enough not to have to work hard, and you have to set to forget. So here we go. Um, if you want to build recurring income while you sleep, the asset that you create must be evergreen. Please write that down. By evergreen, I mean it must not go out of date. It must be applicable to as many people as possible. Um, it mustn't, uh, break or go, umā you've got content that can go out of date, you've got a platform that can go out of date, you've got software or a system that can go out of date. You've even got a link, a URL that can go out of date. So for the maximum time leverageā do you remember I talked about time leverage on the talk yesterday? I love to get a maximum return on time invested. So we've had our driver take us 2 hours here, our driver will take us 2 hours back, but we haveā oh, we must have 40 TikToks that we've just recorded interviewing Paul Gascoigne in Gaza. We must have, what, a 90-minute YouTube episode and probably at least 7 or 8 10-minute episodes. We are going to have the audio for the Disruptors Podcast. So we've got a lot of assets, therefore it's worth the time. And the longer you can sweat the asset, the longer it lasts, the better. The more time you're prepared to put into it. And because, you know, I always say, um, in order to forget, you must set, or set to forget. You have to work hard enough not to have to work hard. So if I'm going to buy a property, I want it to last 200 years. If I'm going to buy any kind of assetā I bought a Ferrari Testarossa, it's gone up in value. I know that'll be a classic for me that I could keep for my whole life. In fact, most of my assets I want to outlive me. So my book, Money, it might need a second or third edition, but my book Money will outlive me. Some of my podcast interviews will outlive me. I mean, if you think about Michael Jackson, um, if you, um, in fact, I don't know if youā can you go on the internet? Are you able to do that without messing up yourā yeah, so I'm going to YouTube and typeā what do you reckon is Michael Jackson's most famous song? Billie Jean, maybe? Thriller. Yeah, just, just go on YouTube and type in Michael Jackson Thriller and see how many views that, um, the main YouTube video of Michael Jackson Thriller has. Um, I'm gonna guess that it's more than 100 million. I'm gonna guess that. I don't know what it would be. Um, but the point is Michael Jackson died, what, 10 years ago, and that song will still be getting hundreds of thousands of downloads or plays a week, a day, who knows. And we're just checking it out. It's not like the whole talk has to stop just to find this number, but I want to make sure that my asset outlives me, just like Michael. Go on. Wow, 1.2 billion! 1.2 billion! Sorry, did that get your ears? Yeah. Yeah, well, my jacket's cringe, my white bit of my beard is cringe. So, um, yeah, make sure that your asset outlives you. If you're going to exchange your time, make sure that it's evergreen. That's rule number 1. The second thing is you want to create multiple streams of income from your assets. I'm going to give you some examples here. I love real estate, many of you know that. I have 1,550 tenants, and most people think that there's one way to earn on real estate, and that is rental income, or maybe buy and sell. But do you know how many other ways there are to earn on real estate? Let's have a bit of a Q&A. Let's have a bit of fun here. In the chat, I want you to share other ways you think you can earn on real estate other than the rental income and selling the property. Let's see what you can come up with. So number 1 is if you manage the property, you can earn the management fee. So I own Progressive Lets. I believe it to be the largest management company in the city. It's certainly in the top 2. So I rent it out, I get rental income, but then I get management income as well. So I can earn on the rental, I can earn on the management. Let's say I have a maintenance team. I can go out and maintain the properties and I can earn a margin on the maintenance. Let's say I've got 1,550 tenants like I have. What if I got a kickback from the insurance companies? What if I got a kickback from the broker? What if I, you know, put the furniture in and got a margin on the furniture? What if I wrote books on property and real estate? I might have written a lot. What if, um, oh, Louis, this one's for you. Um, Davey Paul has said that my money isn't cringe, and he makes a good point. I'll take the cringe and be rich cringe. That was a good one there, Davey Paul. I should getā send Davey Paul a gift out. Um, and by the way, I also have the UK's largest training company. So I've just there shared with you 9 different income streams from property. So I love assets that you don't just earn one income stream on, you earn 2, 4, 6, even 9 different income streams. I call this cross-stream leverage because remember I said yesterday that time isn't money, time is life. Your time is your life. So anything you do that you get good value from, whether it's how you feel or what you earn, that's life well spent. Anything you get a bad feeling from or costs you money, that is life badly spent. So for me, investing in and setting up assets that I could not just turn once on but 5 times on or 8 times on, as I mentioned with real estate, that is a good use of time. And I, I call that cross-stream leverage, i.e., I've got multiple streams from one asset. Now, by the way, content is probably one of the best assets. So, Louis, Alex, you up for playing a quick game? And let's get everyone in the chat to do it as well. Let's work out how many different, um, ways we can make money from a piece of content. So let's say I didā let's do the Gazza interview I did. There's a 90-minute interview I just did with Gazza. I'm pointing there because he was sat there. I'm not just a weirdo. I am a weirdo, but Wait a minute, your shoes! You said me cringe. Just noticed those bad boys. Right, let's go. Let's all together brainstorm how many different ways you can earn from a 90-minute interview with Paul Gascoigne or your own piece of content. Right, let's go. What you got? Um, buy it everywhere on the internet and monetize the video. Okay, so monetize the videos. Let's go specific. Where, where could we monetize it? Okay, so YouTube ad revenue. That's one. Yeah, where else? Okay, so TikTok. On TikTok, you get badges that you get given. You can also earn the Creator Fund on TikTok. Okay, yeah, so we've got YouTube ads, TikTok badges, TikTok Creator Fund. Yes, so YouTube Shorts is quite a new thing. Do you know, also you have people who pay membership. They can subscribe to your YouTube channel We've got a lot of subscribers and they pay a few dollars a month, so we've got 5 there. Yeah, cool, keep them coming. Yeah, Facebook. Okay, so now Facebook's big. You've got Facebook Stars, Facebook Supporters, in-stream live ads. I earn all of these, by the way, that's how I know. You can run an event on Facebook and get paid for the event, so that's 9. Yep, what else we got? Yes. So sponsors on podcasts, advertisers on podcasts. Um, ah yeah, um, making your offer. So I'm now live on Facebook and on the Recurring Income Summit. I could pitch Rob.team, or I could pitch one of my courses or something like that. So actually, on every one of the channels we just mentioned, you could pitch your product or service. We haven't talked about, um, Instagram yet. So Instagram, they have badges. You can also have people who pay to watch your lives. Yeah. All right. So that'sā is that 14? We're on. Yeah. So if you set up a membership site, I hope you all join Dylan's Six Figure Subscription Secrets Masterclass, by the way. You create your own version of Rob.team, your own membership site, and you put your content behind that. I think I have 5,200 members. If they all pay Ā£6, which I do, you can work out the maths on that. It's, you know, Ā£30 grand a month. That's not too bad. It'll buy some of your shoes and some of my jackets. All right, so I think we're on 15. What else have we got? LinkedIn. So LinkedIn now have a Creator Fund. So LinkedIn, if you get selected, LinkedIn will give you Ā£5 grand a month, Ā£10 grand a month, whatever, to write content. What about having a blog? You can have a blog and you can have people who run ads on your blog or sell something on your blog. Anyway, you get the picture. But we have just brainstormed together. It's taken us about 4 minutes. 17 different ways to earn from speaking. What if I get paid for my public speaking gig? So I get paid. I won't tell you my fee because you think I'm too rich already and you'll get pissed off. I'm likely to be flown out to Brazil to do a speech in September. So yeah, so that's 18 just from speaking. So content into cash flow, information into income. Oh, wait a minute, there's more. Do you know now on Spotify and on iTunes, people can subscribe to your podcast and pay Ā£7 a month and get behind-the-scenes stuff? So what we could do here is We could take 1/3 of the best bits of the Paul Gascoigne interview, put that behind the paywall on Spotify and iTunes, and say, "Hey, look, I hope you enjoyed the hour with Gazza. If you want the half-hour best bits, the stuff we can't post on YouTube because they will ban us, press the subscribe button." I have just given you 20 ways, 20 ways in 5 minutes, 4 ways a minute to earn from content into cash flow. And yet people say, "Oh, it's so hard right now." Oh, there is so much opportunity. So again, this is on the theme of cross-stream leverage, picking up, um, in an asset class that you can earn multiple different ways on. Now there's a couple of comments here in the chat I want to address because it is important. So people say, what if I don't have any followers? And what if I don't like to talk? Okay, well, if you can't talk That's a difficult one unless you could do it with sign language, which that might be a joke, but you probably could monetize. What about if you took all of the spoken content and turned it into sign language across all channels? I bet you'd make good money on that because I'm always just thinking opportunity. So if you don't have any followers, here's why it doesn't matter. The algorithms don't really care anymore. So I used to think that the more followers you had, the more views you got. And it used to be the case, but now your following virtually doesn't count. I know people who've had 1, 2, 3 million views on their first TikTok video. I know peopleā well, I'll use me as an example. I have 244,000 followers on Facebook, and most people I see who've got 2, 3, and 5 million followers do not get the same amount of views as me. They get much less, like one-tenth. Because I'm engaged, I'm interactive, I go live regularly. Um, so what social media wants is content to go viral that it believes is credible to go viral, and that is not linked to how many followers you have. 20 years ago, you either had to be a reality TV star, a famous movie actor, or you had to take your clothes off. I've never done any of that. So I've had to hack it, as in, you know, figure out what's the algorithm, how can I go viral. But now the algorithms don't really care how many followers you have. Now look, if you've got millions, that's obviously a good thing because you've got that loyal fan base. So you have to start now, get perfect later. You have to set to forget. When all is said and done, more is said than done. Every winner was once a beginner and every master was once a disaster. So don't let that stop you. You know, many people who, you know, I might look up to as being maybe like Joe Rogan, for example, he's got a lot more followers than me. But if you look at a lot of his videos, they've got more than me. But if you look at some of my videos, they've got more than him. You know, and at the end of the day, he's like the biggest podcaster in the world. So there's no point me comparing myself to him. I bet he doesn't have 1,550 tenants. I bet he doesn't have the same fashion sense. Okay, right, so exactly, then you can take all your audio and your talks and transcribe them. Articles, white papers, lead magnets. I reckon that's 23 different ways to monetize your content into cash flow and your information into income. What an exciting opportunity. Okay, now let's address the other objection, which is 'I don't really like talking. I'm not really good at it. I don't know what to say. I'm not very confident.' Well, I was the fattest kid in my year at school for 3 years, and I am not a naturally confident person. I had to learn how to get good at speaking. I'm only quite good at speaking, and by the way, some people think I'm awful at speaking. They don't like my speaking style. That's okay, because everyone's entitled to my opinion. They can fuck off. They can go watch someone else. So what? I'm not for everyone. But I'm relatively comfortable. I wouldn't say confident. Like the guys will tell you, I was a bit nervous before speaking to Gazza. You know, he's a big name and will we get on and will I ask a question and he'd get up and walk out and nut me? Because I think he's got headbutting in the family by the sounds of the interview. So I'm still nervous doing what I do. I might make a mistake. But you know what? I'm prepared to make a mistake. And I'm prepared to get better. I'm prepared to not be perfect. So that's kind ofā maybe my skill isn't my speaking ability, it's my ability to not take myself too seriously and my ability to not always be perfect. So just start. And here's what I do, by the way. It's so simple. So simple. Because, by the way, have you ever seen me do a live and look at my laptop? Of course you have. I don't know, where did that squeak come from? Of course you have. Why? 'Cause I'm not just winging it. And sometimes I'll bring up a news article and I'm talking to you and I'll have a little quick look and I'll read some of the points in the news. So you're allowed to have prompts. Where's the law that says you can't make notes and have prompts? And I just have a normal laptop with a normal document and I basically just list my title ideas. So here's the thing with ideas. Ideas don't come to you when you want them to come to you. They come to you when they're ready to come to you. So I've got a little document here, and all it has in is it's got all the headline ideas that I've got. And anytime I get them, I just put them on my phone or my laptop, and they're just there. And then what I doā this is important as wellā every single headline or piece of content I've done, I'll just rank in order with the most views to the lowest amount of views. So I can think, oh, okay, that works, that doesn't work. Oh, by the way, you'll love this. If you join Rob.team, I will give you all of these headlines. I've got probably pushing 100 headlines. And by the way, my highest viewed Facebook video is 1.6 million, and my lowest is 3,000. So when you get 1.6 million, you think, oh, I've made it, look at me, Michael Jackson, move away. And then when you get 3,000, you think, I'm a loser, I hate myself. 'Um, you know, get me out of the mental institution. My life is fucked. I hate it.' Here's the thing though, I am not 3,000 views. I am not 1.1 million views. I am me. I'm just me. And sometimes I get lucky, and sometimes I get unlucky, and sometimes I do well, and sometimes I don't do well. But I have literally tracked every single headline I have done in the last 65 days. 65 days. If you'd like me to give you every single one of these subject lines and the amount of views that they had, go and join Rob.team right now. Open up a new page if you haven't. By the way, let me know if you're already a Rob.team member. I know many of you will be. But if you open up a new page right now on the internet, do it now, now, and just type in rob.team, I will give you the headline, the amount of views. I will rank them top to bottom so that you can either borrow them or be inspired by them or, or give yourself some ideas on content. Because isn't it weird that if I've got 2,000ā no, 244,000 followers, one video would only get 3,000 views? But isn't it also weird that I've got 244,000 followers and one of them will get 1.6 million views? The algorithm isn'tā well, I was going to say the algorithm isn't logical. It is. It's just you don't know what the logic is. I've never given away these headlines to anyone before, but the point is you'll get inspired for ideas It'll inspire you to create your own ideas. I wouldn't actually recommend you copy them word for word. You can just see what kind of content. So funnily enough, in the top 3, Johnny Depp is in the title. A little bit of a clue there. Bill Gates comes up quite high. Putin comes up quite high. Elon Musk comes up quite high. New World Order. Anyway, I'm giving it all away. So Elaine's already a member of Rob.team, so go and join Rob.team right now. This is brand new. I've never offered this before. I've never given them away. It was just a random idea of mine. Actually haven't even put them in. Bryson signed up yesterday. So open up a new page on the internet, type rob.team, and here's what I'll do. Every month I'll update them with all my headlines. So within 2 or 3 months of being a member of rob.team, you will have 200 headlines, all ranked highest viewed to lowest viewed. So you, you're inspired and you've got data. Because here's the thing, you don't want to go live on a subject that's not going to work. And I've also found that going live, if the headline is wrong, even if the content is great, it won't get any reach. The title is vital. Always remember that. The title is vital. By the way, there's a lot of people who are just commenting saying they're already a member. Davey Paul's been a member from the beginning. Um, Bryson signed up yesterday. Anna Marie, um, is a member. You guys are going to get this all as part of your membership. The membership is less than a large coffee. It's Ā£5 plus whatever your tax is in your country. There's no contract. You can cancel at any time if you want. So it's virtually nothing. Um, yes, Raf's already a member as well. So thank you all for being members. Okay, right, so where, where was I on my notes? There. All right, so when it comes to content, borrow all my headlines, get a head start, tweak them a little bit, follow my lead of just creating a little document. And when you get ideas for content, write them down. Sometimes I get random ideas. Sometimes I see someone else do something really good. Sometimes I get inspired by a piece of music or a film or or something like that, or a conversation, or I'm just scrolling on TikTok and Facebook and I see some really good content. And every time I just get a little idea, I just put it in a little document. People always say to me, 'Well, Rob, I don't have very many ideas.' Well, then you must be living in a vacuum, in the dark. Because actually, if you speak to people, if you watch people, if you listen to people, ideas are there. It's not that you're not good at coming up with ideas, you're not good at capturing them and writing them down, and that's actually the easy bit. Okay, next thing you need then if you want to build recurring income is, um, oh, Thompson has just said, I want to sign up to Rob.team. What am I paying? You're paying a fiver a month plus the tax, so you're paying less than a large coffee, one-third of the price of Netflix, and you can cancel at any time. You've got content going back 3 years. You've got 5,200 other members like you to be part of the community. All right, next then is, um, if you want to build recurring income while you sleep, then you need scalability and systems. I'm justā Pit Rider, people keep asking for the link. I don't know how many times I've said it. I'm gonna say, right, open up a new page on the internet, type in rob. T-E-A-M. Rob.team. Rob as in my name, Rob Moore. Team as in a football team, a soccer team. Doesn't matter what country in the world in, you can sign up. Should be good no matter where you live. Okay, right. So systems for scaleā systems and scalability. So a system is something that creates automation or repeatability. So for example, we use CFP WinMan as our rental management software, and invoicing and payments and all sorts of things that otherwise would be manual are done in an automated fashion. I'm currently live on Facebook and at the Recurring Income Summit, so this livestream equipment we have here is a system that enables me to speak anywhere in the world and livestream it. Either privately or publicly. My phone, with all the apps and the software and the ability to go liveā we had 49,300 people watch the Paul Gascoigne interview I just did. 14ā oh, and it was just on TikTok, by the way. 49,300 people on TikTok because we had the live stream function. So live stream gives you scalability. Having a following gives you scalability. Let's say you don't have much of a following. Do a partnership. Do a joint venture. Have you just seen in the news recently Netflix are joint venturing with Microsoft? Why couldn't you joint venture with someone with a bigger platform? Of course you could. If you've got the content, they've got the platform. Now when you have scalability, of course you have leverage because, you know, if I'm sitting here and I reckon anywhere between 5,000 and 15,000 people watch this video. And then when I went live on TikTok, 49,300 people watched that video. And Recurring Income Summit, we normally have 100 people, 200 people, something like that. Sometimes we have 500 people. We don't like to go any bigger than that. Um, but today, sat here, I could have reached 70,000 people, 65,000 people. Just from a chat in a little hotel room in Reading. Pretty cool, huh? So try and make sure you're utilising systems and scalability and leverage by going live on multiple channels, by using social media and leveraging the internet. Okay, cool. I need a quick sip, so I'll give you a little breather. Anyone else want to ask me how to spell Rob.team? Yeah, it's, um, Ā£5 plus whatever your local tax is. Christopher has said here, Facebook is telling me 50+ people are watching the live. You're absolutely right, Christopher. Um, so on a live, I'll have anywhere from 55, which is what we've got right now, up toā I did a live this morning in the car, um, Alex was with me, and I had 535 on that live. But what happens is afterwards, when you've finished recording, the video grows and grows and grows and grows. So my guess is this will have 15,000 views. Um, and of course what you've got is the amount of people on the live, but also how many people have watched it. So 49,300 people watched the video today, um, when I was interviewing Paul Gascoigne. At the peak, on at any one time was 1,300. Now the thing with the TikTok video is once that's finished, it's gone. Facebook is different, and this is why you should be doing more Facebook Lives. So, yeah, I will be able to have a look. I went live this morning. I just want to prove a point here because I like people asking questions, and I like to be able to prove myself as well. And sometimes people try and sort of catch me out, and I just like to proveā someone's still asking where to sign up to rob.team. Open up a new page on the internet right now and type in rob.team. T-E-A-M. Thanks for all your kind comments, by the way. So yeah, this morning, so I've had what looks like 35,000 people, um, view my video since this morning. So I went live this morning talking about the national emergency of the weather. That was it. And, um, I had 550-ish people on at peak, and that's had 30,000 views. In 9, 10, 11, 12, 1ā in 5 or 6 hours. So the great thing about Robā um, I was gonna say the great thing about rob.team, it's great, but that's not what I meant. The great thing about Facebook when you go live on it is the recording stays. So you know I like to create evergreen assets. Well, as much as that TikTok was great, 49,300 people watching, it's not an asset anymore. It's not evergreen anymore. It's disappeared. This Facebook Live will stay up for years. It's an evergreen asset. So thanks for the question, and that's my answer, and it's the right one. Okay, right, so how do you set up multiple streams of recurring income? Here we go. I've got 8 rulesā 8ā for setting up multiple streams of recurring income. Are you ready? Give me a yes in the comments if you're ready, and I'll share with you the 8 rules for setting up Multiple streams of recurring income, and I'm going to focus on one asset for this example, and that is you. Do you know you are your best asset? You invest in yourself wisely, you pay yourself the best return. That's why you should join Rob.team. You're actually not investing a cost of a large coffee a month into me. You're investing into you, because the more you learn, the more you earn. Invest in yourself. You are the best asset. So I'm not now really talking about real estate. I'm not now really talking about stock market as an asset. They're both good. I'm talking about your content into cash flow, your information and inspiration into income, what you already know into cash flow, your message into money, your rants into revenue. There you go. Okay, so number 1 is, are you on all the social media channels? Are you on Facebook? Are you on Instagram? Are you on TikTok? Are you on LinkedIn? Do you have a YouTube channel? Do you still use Snapchat? You know, like, yada yada yada. Are you actually on them? Now, I'll admit, I was the guy that thought that TikTok was for the kids and the dancers and the singers, and that ain't me. But in the end, I resisted my own Honestly, I was just a bit scared. I'm not going live and dancing like a kid. Who the fuck do I think I am? I justā I was just scared, honestly. I didn't know how to do it. And what do we do when we don't know how to do something? We ridicule it or say it's shit or it's a waste of time. We don't know how it works. No, no. I've made a new rule now. If there is a new social media platform that comes out where you don't have to take your clothes off, I'm trying it. And you know what, if you paid me enough, I'd probably set up OnlyFans. Like, for 10 million a year, I probably would wear a mankini and dance live. Would you? 10 million a year. You don't have to get naked on OnlyFans anymore. Really? Yeah, yeah, game streamers do it as well. Ah, so gaming. Yeah, yeah. So gamers make big money, don't they? We didn't even cover that. Playing games to make money. Using OnlyFans or Twitch, streaming, just sitting there playing games and having everyone else watch them. Um, I read, I read some guy was making a million a day gaming. You know, these people who do sandbox and they make loads of money out of that, get sponsored. You then, then you record it on YouTube and you get millions of views on YouTube. Really? There you go. Yeah, I'veā get to the point, kid. I've made like 12 points. What point do you want me to get to? Yeah, you know, like in the old days, the parents would be like, get off the computer. I'm like, now get off your homework, get on the computer. I even said to my son, I mean, he plays games 3 or 4 hours a day. I said, you should be making money out of that now. Like, make millions out of it. Make me rich. Your school fees are fucking expensive. Anyway, apparently someone wants me to get to the point. All right, so number 1 to create multiple streams of recurring income from you, your content, is you've got to be on as many channels as possible. We do live streams on Zoom, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, podcasts. We do them all. Number 2, you've got to post content regularly. I have not missed a Facebook Live for I don't know how many days. Do you know what? I have pitched Rob.team every day for 63, 64, 65ā it's day 66, and I've pitched Rob.team every single day. And a few people are always pitching Rob.team. I don't have to sell it, I just have to tell it. It's only a fiver a month. But here's the thing, I've got nearly 1,500 members inā what did I say, 63ā in 66 days just doing a Facebook Live and talking about Rob.team at the end of it. So if I do that every day for a year, that is what, 40, 50, 60,000 a month? It's hundreds of thousands a year. So why aren't you doing it? You need to get more regular with your content. Now, by the way, people think content is hard. Alex, you wereā you can attest to this. I was working in the car next to you this morning. Is that true? I just pulled out my phone and pressed a button and started shouting at it. Is that true? Yeah. I talked about the heatwave in the UK. Is that true? It took about, what, 10 minutes in the back of the car. Is that true? And then I put my phone away and carried on with my work. Is that true? So Alex, just raise your hand and say, 'I swear.' Under oath. So that's true. That wasn't hard. You can do a live anywhere. Okay, you can't do a live everywhere, but my point is you could do content every day. You absolutely could. You're just getting in your own way. You're not making it a priority enough. So that's the second thing. You've got to start doing more content. The third thing is repurposing. So let's say you don't want to be the personā or go live on Facebook, half an hour, go live on TikTok, 20 minutes, and go live on Instagram, 15 minutes, go live on LinkedIn, do my Zoom, do my webinarā that's a bit overwhelming. So you need to get in the habit of content repurposing. And content repurposing is where when you create your content, you create it in at least 3 of the 4 following formats. Write these down: W-A-V-L. W-A-V-L. Written, audio, video, live. Now, if I write a blog, I cannot reuse that in audio or video form because it's written down. Whereas if I do a Facebook Live, there I can. Now, as you can see, got a microphone on, so I can take the audio I've done the live, I can take the recording, and we can get the transcription. So from this Facebook Live on this here phone, I have written, audio, video, and live from one piece of content. I don't have to do it 1, 2, 3, 4 times. I have to write it and say it and record it. So I actually used to do a lot more content than I do now. I'm actually I'm probably doing one-third of what I used to do 3 years ago, because 3 years ago repurposing was a lot harder and you had to sort of go individually creating all the different bits of content for all the different channels, whereas now it's a lot easier to repurpose. So I do my Facebook Lives 1, 2, sometimes 3 times a day. They take on average 15 minutes, and then that can become a podcast, That can become a YouTube long and short. We can extract the video forā could take 30-second bits for stories and TikToks and you name it. Okay, next thing then for multiple streams of income is you've got to figure out what you're best at and what's going to get you the best return on time invested. So for me, I'm probably best at Facebook Lives because I know how Facebook works. I find it really easy. I've built up a decent engaged following, um, and I like the live element. Like, I don't really like, um, scripted content, canned material. Some of you will be better at writing. Some of you will be better just on audio. Let's say you're one of the people that is very introverted and you don't want to be on video at all. Podcasts were made for you. Like, they were made for you. So something to think about. So what you want to do is work out, okay, what am I best at? Am I best at video, live, audio, written? Which social media platforms do I enjoy the most, or do I know how they work the most? And then start there. Focus on most of the time, 70% of the time that you put into content, start on that one. If you enjoy it, you'll do it. If you enjoy it, you'll overcome the challenges. And if you enjoy it, you'll be good at it. And then over time you can repurpose. So Joe Rogan was just a podcaster for many years before it then went on, um, YouTube. I don't even know if he has his own TikTok account. I don't think he does. Okay, so I talked about cross-stream leverage, which is where on multi-channels and multi-devices and multi-platforms you can turn one asset into multiple assets. So this Paul Gascoigne interview we just did, 90 minutes, 49,300 on TikTok. We will then have the recordings for TikTok. There must be 20, 30, 40 really good TikTok recorded pieces there. Then we'll have the podcast full episode, we'll have the YouTube full episode and some shorter YouTube ones, probably 10 minutes long or something like that. It probably will get picked up in the media, and that could turn into 20 pieces of content, 50 pieces of content, 100 pieces of content. Who knows? That's cross-stream leverage. Okay, um, next then is you want to use as many monetization tools as possible. So, um, Alex, Louis, and myself, we brainstormed for 5 minutes and we came up with 20ā was it 21, 23, I don't knowā different monetization tools. Um, you want to turn as many of them on as you can. Why wouldn't you? So I've got stars enabled here, so people are donating me stars on this live. Um, I have my premium buyers who've joined Recurring Income Summit, who've got a premium ticket. There's in-stream ads on this live, so as this live grows in numbers once it's recorded, there will be ads that will be fed in. So there's just 3 different ways to monetize already while I'm live. When, um, content goes up on YouTube, we get YouTube revenue. When you're live on Instagram, you get badges and subscriber revenue. When you join rob.team, there's obviously subscription revenue. So you want to make sure that you leverage as many of the monetization tools as possible. How do you do that? You go in on all the Creator Studios or the business suites or the analytics. So each platform, um, Facebook has Creator Studio, TikTok has business suite, um, YouTube has analytics. They all have their own backend, and in their backend it'll be all the data, the headlines, the retention, the watch time, the monetization, and have all the different monetization tools that you can unlock. Go unlock them. And start monetizing. And then the last thing, and I'm going to finish, I'm going to finish on this one, and that is hacking virality. So I'm prepared to go live anytime, any day, and I've done lives to millions of people, and I've done speeches to thousands of people, and I've also done lives to 50 people and I've done speeches to 30 people. And of course I'd love to always have the big numbers and, you know, look at me, aren't I great? But in reality, I'm prepared to do what it takes. Just like the great band, yeah, they'll play the stadiums, but they'll play the dirty pubs as well. And I'm that kind of guy. I'll play the dirty pubs as well as the big stadiums. And you've got to sort of not worry too much about how many views each piece gets. You've got to worry about creating good viral newsjackable content. So the thing I'm going to leave you with is newsjacking, or hacking virality. One of the reasons I track every single one of my headlines is because headline can restrict me to 3,000 views or can grow me viral to 1.6 million views on Facebook. By the way, on TikTok, I've had a 5 million view video in the last week. I've had a 3.7, a 2 point something, and a couple of others over a million. Um, people are still joining rob.team if you want to get all of those headlines. The best to the worst, the huge views, so that you can create maximum leverage. Just go and join rob.team, and every month I'll update them. Within 3 months, you're going to have hundreds of great subjects and great headlines and all the data of the highest and the lowest viewed, so that you can save time and make money and create leverage and create virality. You can literally copy me. I don't know anyone else who'll give you all their best headlines and all the views. No one would share this stuff because it's obviously their own secret recipe. Okay, so how do you hack virality then? How do you get more growth than followers? Even if you're just starting out and you don't have many people that subscribe or follow you, how do you ensure maximum reach? All right, are you ready for a few quick tips? I think I've got about 5 minutes left, something like that. Okay, thanks for all the kind comments, by the way. Right, number 1: engage in the comments. So you can see I have a look at you all, see what you're all up to, see what you're saying, chat with you a bit. Then afterwards, I go in and reply to a lot of the comments. You've all seen that. Whether it's live on a Zoom or on a Facebook Live. I do that primarily to show that I care about my community, but probably relatively equally because I know it gives me more virality. The more you engage, the more the platform will reward you with reach. There's nothing worse than a poster and runner, you know, when you go and comment on people's content and they never reply or never engage. It just Is it really them posting? Is it just a social media manager? Doesn't feel that warm. I engage in all my content. Now look, I can't reply to everyone. I have millions of views and tens of thousands of people commenting, but I try my best. And I probably spend an hour a day commenting, engaging, replying. And by the way, not all at the same time, just when I can nick 5-10 minutes here and there. Um, so when you engage with your community The algorithm will reward you and you'll get many more views, but your community will love you and support you, and they will stay sticky and stay loyal, and they'll watch more of your videos. So that's number 1 thing to hack viral growth. Number 2 is test the time of day. So one of the reasons this is one of my lowest amounts of people you'll ever see on a live is because it's, um, A, the internet connection is not the best where we are, But B, it's the time of day. It's actually one of the worst times of day to go live. But that doesn't actually mean it won't go viral afterwards. It's just obviously not got millions on right now. But I don't care, you know, all I can do is what I can do. Um, so 8:30 AM, perfect time for me. 8:30 PM, perfect time for me. Giving you a couple of hints there. You've got to test your own time. So engage Timing. Next one is, um, engaging with the critics. So I don't know if this is a coincidence, but my last 3 videos that have gone viralā so for me, viral would be 100,000 plus, I would say, 100,000 views maybe within a day. That would be what I would deem as viral for me. Now, for some people it's a million, and for some people it's a thousand. Because virality is relative. But for me, I'd say 100,000 in a day is viral. And in all three of thoseā coincidence, maybe, maybe notā I have a little pop at the critics. They have a go at me, I have a go at them back. I address them, I engage with them, I have banter with them, I shoot them down, I defend myself. And I think it really works to engage with the critics because, number one, the critics comment a lot more than the fans. Number 2, people will come in your defense, and the more comments you get, the more viral reach you'll get. So the third thing to give you more virality is embrace the critics, the haters. Don't worry about them, don't get overwhelmed by them, even have a bit of banter with them, even answer some of their questions. The fourth thing, and this is probably the biggest, newsjacking. So I've got a video that's had 30,000 views in a couple of few hours, and, um, the title was nationalā something like state of national emergency. Um, in fact, I'll tell you exactly. So in the UK, the UK government, um, put us on red alert national emergency because of the potentially record-breaking hottest day ever on record in the UK next week. Um, so I leveraged that headline, and, um, there's every chance that could have a million views with the way it's going. Every chance. It's had 30,000+ in just a few hours, and actually it's my second highest amount of people on a live. So at any one time My highest number of people on a live was when I went live with 'Is the Queen dead?' because I was wondering if she was dying. And the second one is 'State of national emergency.' And, um, so if that's anything to go by, that's likely to get a million views in a day or two or three. Let's see. Look, thisā I can't predict, but just going on, um, my instinct of what I've seen before. So anything that you, um, create a title on that's news and media worthy and everyone's talking about creates a bit of polarization and emotion. So Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, that was polarization and emotion, and I was getting a million views pretty much every time I was doing content on that. Um, so the fourth element of going viral is actually leveraging emotion by creating content with the headline around what's going on in the world that people are Talking about, I've got energy and emotion around, or polarised on, or arguing about. By the way, sometimes this works, sometimes it doesn't. But by the way, how-to content-related titlesā have you noticed this title is something like, um, make income while you sleep? And actually it's a masterclass. Um, so I chose a how-to related title. I'm finding how-to related titles perform the worst by a mile. But emotional or newsworthy titles, and even I don't mind a bit of clickbait, by the way. My titles will always be true, but I don't mind a bit of clickbait as long as what I'm speaking is a truth and not a completely unrelated point. Sarah said, so the critics actually help you go viral? Yes, they do, if you engage with them and banter with them and get them arguing with yourself and everyone. Yes, they do. Cool. So thanks for tuning in. I hope you found it useful. I'm going to hand over in a moment, but before I do, I just need to ask you one more time. This isn't for me, this is for you. Are you a member of Rob.team?
