So some sad news has just broken. I wanted to do a little ode. So one of the Dragon's Den stars— I know many of them, and, um, some of them have spoken at our super conferences and our events— and there's one of the Dragon's Den stars that, uh, we'd always wanted to get on the Disruptor Show and to our events. And 2 or 3 years back, we had her booked to speak, um, and she fell ill and she wasn't able to speak. And we rebooked a couple of times as she was maybe getting better, and then she fell ill again, um, and we never quite pulled it off. Um, and yeah, so I just want to say rest in peace to Hilary DeVay. I think it's really sad she's just passed away. She's— I think she was in her mid-60s. I think she probably had the greatest character and personality on Dragon's Den. I personally thought she was awesome. And like I said, for years we'd been getting agreement for her to come and speak at our events and speak on our, our podcast. And unfortunately, because she was battling with her illness, we didn't quite make it happen. And we thought we would in the end be able to pull it off, but unfortunately we didn't. And anytime someone, you know, who I think's done a lot of good in the world, or maybe someone, you know, relatively close to me or my brand or what we do passes away, I just like to do a little, um, a little ode. I'm not gonna make a speech or, or write a verse because I wouldn't do it justice, but I just thought that Hilary DeVay was absolutely brilliant on Dragon's Den. So much personality. I think she inspired so many women, um, and I think it's just such a shame she's just passed away. She was in her mid-60s. Um, yeah, Hilary DeVeigh of Dragon's Den, who like I said we've had a lot of contact with over the years, has just passed away. I just wanted to say rest in peace. Um, very sad news. Um, it literally just happened a few minutes ago. That's all I wanted to say. Thanks for following me. I think it's really important to just take a little moment to, um, show our respects to, you know, Hilary DeVeigh and people on Dragon's Den. You know, they made entrepreneurship— I wouldn't say popular, but, you know, we need more entrepreneurs in the world. Entrepreneurs build things, create things, they solve problems, they make things happen, they take risks, they employ lots of people. And, you know, Dragon's Den and Hilary Dube as well as many of the other Dragons were a big part, like Shark Tank in the US, a big part of not just popularizing entrepreneurship, but giving people the courage and the inspiration to want to go and start a business and take that risk and, you know, go for your dreams and do it in a way where you can still have fun and have character and personality. Because, you know, sometimes business can be hard, um, and I thought she embodied what an entrepreneur really was. The hustle and the grind, yes, but the character, the personality, the humor, the quirkiness. I think so many things in what being an entrepreneur is, Hillary DeVay was. So sending my love to Hillary, Hillary's family, and her loved ones who are going to feel the loss more than anyone else. Rest in peace, Hillary DeVay. Thanks for following me. Just a really quick video. I wonder if you wouldn't mind sharing it. It's just, it's just happened, and I think we should all pay our respects to disruptive entrepreneurs who take risks and inspire people and, you know, do a lot for, for the planet. You know, entrepreneurs build things, they make things, they solve problems, they employ lots of people. Without entrepreneurs, you know, the world wouldn't be what it is. So rest in peace, Hillary DeBey.
