In this impassioned YouTube monologue, the speaker denounces the UK government's decision to fine Boris Johnson and senior officials only £50 for holding multiple lockdown parties, labeling it a scandal and a joke. He argues that such a trivial penalty fails to hold leaders accountable for breaking the very rules they imposed on the public, which led to severe consequences: delayed or denied life‑saving medical treatment, deaths from cancer, massive business failures, and a £400 billion fiscal burden. He cites wasteful spending—£20 billion on unusable PPE, failed loans, and a dysfunctional track‑and‑trace app—and contends that the fines will not deter future misconduct. The speaker urges viewers to share their own country’s experience, comment, and spread the video to demand accountability, while also expressing openness to constructive discussion.

To me, this is a scandal and an outrage. I actually thought it was a joke when I was told that the fines for Boris and his cronies in UK government for his multiple lockdown parties was £50. I thought that was a joke, a parking ticket. Is £50. I really thought it was a joke because these fines I thought were undisclosed, but to my knowledge, the fines that Boris and the UK government got for consistent breaking of their own rules was 50 quid. You get 50 quid for a parking fine. How in any reality, in any universe, is it right and fair and moral that Boris and the UK government can lock the entire country down, stop all of our trade, stop kids going to school, stop people socializing have probably tens of thousands of people not be able to get serious life-changing treatment. How many people died of cancer because they weren't able to get treatment in lockdown? I know close family members of mine who died because they couldn't get treatment in lockdown. Now maybe lockdown 1.0 was fair and reasonable. I wouldn't want to be responsible for a million or more deaths, and we didn't know what we didn't know. But lockdown 2, and then that soft lockdown 3 at Christmas, to me, that wasn't— it just wasn't right. It wasn't necessary. Everyone's getting COVID now, and it just seems like it's a cold, and they would have known that after lockdown 1, surely. Now some people are saying here it was a £10,000 fine. I was told it was a £50 fine, like a parking ticket. Now apparently that's the law. Someone close to me even said, well, that's what the fine should be if the fine is the same for everyone else. No, no, no, no. They run our country. They lead our government. And look, everyone probably broke the rules a bit, maybe you didn't, but I know a few people who broke the rules a bit. But I don't think any of us had a party every single month sending memos out saying bring your own booze. And how many thousands or millions of businesses have suffered because of the lockdown, because of the increase in taxes, because of the lack of leadership and subsidy and support. Yet they're getting, to my knowledge, a £50 fine. How's that going to change their behavior? They're just going to keep doing it and keep doing it and keep doing it and keep doing it. So I believe it's my responsibility as someone with somewhat of a platform and somewhat of an influence to talk about these moral issues that are really important. Now, by the way, whatever country you're from, let me know, um, what happened in lockdown. Did your government have monthly parties and monthly meetings when you were supposed to be locked down? What does your country think of Boris and the UK government doing that? And of course they've paid the fines. Yeah, 50 quid! 50 quid isn't a fine. If you get paid— if you get fined 50 quid for being naughty, all that's taught you is, well, if I'm naughty again, it's just gonna cost me 50 quid. Like, I probably shouldn't say this, but I'll just be honest, I don't really care about getting a 50 quid parking fine, and I'd probably rather get the fine and be able to park there for the day than the faff of trying to find somewhere to park. So actually, to me, a 50 quid parking fine is not penal. To the government a £50 fine for breaking their own lockdown rules. It's not penal and nothing's going to change, and they're going to do it again with a smile on their face. Now, this Barker— this, sorry, this, um, Gray report, is it? Yeah, I think it's Gray report. Call it Barker report. Sue Barker. Where is it? Apparently it's damning. Where is it? Where's the accountability? What happened to COVID? All just seems to be gone. The government just seemed to get away with it. And Boris is like golden balls, you can't touch him. Yeah, so Carla said the fine for attending the party is £50. You have to treat them the same as the public. No, I don't believe you should treat them the same as the public because they run our government. Why should it be one rule for them and one rule for us? I do not think you should treat them the same as the public. I actually don't think they are treated the same as the public. I think they're treated like royalty. I think they get away with murder. Let me know what you think in the comments. And if you think that a £50 fine for breaking COVID, their own COVID rules and lockdown rules, is unfair, I think you should hit the share button. I really do. Let me know what you think in the comments. I better stop talking now because it's going to piss me off. We need to hold our government to account. We put our government in this position, and now we need to hold them to account. And I've been shouting and screaming and ranting for months. What about all the people that couldn't get treatment, that may have died or be terminally ill because of lockdown? What about the thousands or millions of businesses that are struggling or may end up going bust because of lockdown. What about the massive increase in taxes? Apparently they spent £400 billion through this time. I know virtually for a fact that £20 billion of that was wasted on PPE equipment that they couldn't use anymore, on loans that they lent out to the wrong people that they couldn't get paid back, on that track and trace app which didn't freaking work and just kept pinging everyone and no one knew what to do and everyone was taking time off work when they didn't even have COVID. Just seems wrong to me. Don't know what you think. Let me know in the comments what you think. Hit the share button and if there's anything that, um, you know, you think you disagree with or you want to show me and educate me on, please let me know in the comments. I'm always open-minded to good constructive discussion. Let me know what you think. Hit the share button. Seems like a joke to me.
