A 43-year-old argues that social media filters and facial fillers create unrealistic beauty standards, especially for young people, and calls for embracing natural faces instead. He points to filters' "triangular" distortions and the cosmetic procedure "pandemic" as drivers of low self-esteem, speaking from his own choice to skip Botox and fillers.

Please, please, please, please stop using filters on social media. Please, please stop filling your face with chemicals. Now, people say that they do not use filters and fillers in their face for other people, for men or women. They say they do it for themselves, like when someone puts on a lot of makeup. I'm not doing it for the opposite sex, I'm doing it to feel good about myself. I do not think this is true. I think most people who are saying that are not being honest with themselves. Why should you cover up who you are? Why should you want to alter or change how you look, the shape of your face? Like, no human beingâ that is, their face is not supposed to look like a triangle. So many now young girls and some young men They are making their face look like a triangle. We are not designed to look like a triangle. I'm clearly designed to look like an egg. We are notâ we're not supposed to look like a triangle. And actually, I don't know that that many people, men or women or they or other, actually find a really false look attractive. So there's two areas where I believe this is ripe. This is maybe even a pandemic. One is filters on social media, and two is fillers in your face. Now, if you care about your children, about your daughters, if you care about our next generation, I think it's really important, one, that you share this video, and two, that you actually speak up. There is no Botox and there is no fillers on this 43-year-old face. There are no dyes in this ginger salt and pepper beard. I don't love my face as much as I used to. I've never loved it, but I liked it more when it was younger. I don't like it as much anymore, but it's my face, and itâ and I've got it, and I've got to learn to love it. And I think it's such a travesty that we are influencing our younger generation, these younger ladies who are building self-esteem, to actually not want to show the world their real face, to be embarrassed, or at least to want to look like someone else. Who's more fake than real? You know, these influencers on Instagram that ladies, and now some men, look up to, who are fake, who are false, and who've put plastics in their face and plastics in their ass. To me, this is a pandemic. We are killing people's confidence, killing their self-worth, And I believe this must stop. Now look, we can't ban filters, probably. Filters just started with a bit of a fun and a play. I was at Alexander McQueen fashion show and a lady came up to me who looked perfectly nice and she said, can you take a photo of me? And I said yes and I took the phone and I looked at the phone to take a photo of her and then I moved the phone away and then I looked back and literally the filter completely changed how she looked. It made her skinny. Skinnier, it made her more pointy, more triangular. And I was shocked. I'm like, I see you there, I see the, the photo video there, it's a completely different person. So what happens when you meet people face to face in reality, when your face isn't a triangle and when your complexion isn't perfect? They haven't met the real version of you. They've only seen a false filtered villain version of you online, and now they're meeting the real you, but now they're disappointed with the real you. Now, people say all the time, they say this, this is important: I want to be loved for who I am. Everyone wants to be loved for who they are. I've never heard anyone say anything other than they want to be loved, appreciated, liked, respected, admired. Even fancied for who they are, not for a different version of themselves. So if everyone wants to be loved for who they are, then they've got to stop showing a false version of themselves. They've got to stop triangulating their face. They've got to stop filtering and changing their complexion. And they've got to stop filling their face and getting rid of all of their creases so that their face doesn't even move, in my humble opinion. Now, if you disagree, let me know in the comments. If you think sticking plastics and chemicals and possible poisons in your face is good, let me know. But we are raising generations of damaged, very low self-worth human beings who do not love themselves for who they are. And that is one of the greatest crimes against our next generations that we could probably bestow upon them that's still legal. Doesn't make any sense to me whatsoever. So be brave, be bold, be courageous, and show the world who you really are. Get rid of the filters, get rid of the fillers, be yourself. Now look, I understand if someone's 65 and their face is hanging off them that they might want to tighten a few things up. I might doâ I can't say I'm never going to do that if my face starts to hang. But surely that's different from getting fillers in your lips like freaking, I don't know, A pair of biceps. I've got bicep top lip, bicep bottom lip. When you're 21! I know people who are filling their face with chemicals, with poison, age 18, 21. You know, makeup as thick as a frickin' war bunker. Like, who are you? I don't know, because I can't see you. And I wanna see you. Now look, no one probably cares about myâ opinion on what I think is attractive. But I'm just going to say this because this is my social media. Every person that I've seen, man and woman, but more women than men because I'm more into women, looks more beautiful without plastics, without filler, without a face that doesn't move, um, and even without makeup. So have the courage to be yourself. Have the courage to be disliked for who you are. Because if you want to be loved for who you are, you have to show the world who you are. If you wantâ a lot of people say, 'Oh, I can't attract anyone who's genuine,' because you're not being genuine, because you're not showing a genuine version of you. So be bold, be courageous. No fillers, no filters. Show the world who you really are. Therefore, then there's no misselling. Therefore, then you're not attracting people who are attracted to a false version of you. Therefore, you'll meet the right friends, the right partners, and the right lovers. And will raise a higher self-worth, more self-loving next generation, because I think we're ruining them, and I really, really, really think that's a bad thing. Now, I guess many people have fillers and filters because they're not happy within themselves, and we can all find faults in how we look, but there's also things about ourselves we all like about ourselves. So there's things about ourselves we love and things about ourselves we loathe, and that will never change no matter how much plastic you put in your face or how many filters you put on. But if you learn to love your flaws as well as your strengths, learn to love the things you loathe as well as love the things you love, accept yourself for who you are, know we're all imperfectly perfect, then one, you're gonna be the change that you wanna see in the world, you're going to inspire others and you're going to attract the right people to you. And I see a lot of people sticking tattoos all over their body and sticking plastics and poisons all over their face and covering their face completely up, and actually they are hurt and they have voids and holes and pains in their soul, as we all do in certain areas. So if you take time and care about yourself to try and repair your hurt, and love yourself, and forgive yourself, and let go of your trauma and your baggage, you won't need to ruin your face. That's all I gotta say. Let me know what you think in the comments. Hit the share button because we are raising a pandemic of plastic people. We are raising a pandemic of fake people. We are raising a pandemic of filtered and fillered individuals. People's faces are becoming more triangular. That is not who we are. Start being yourself, then people will love you for who you are. Hit the share button. Thanks for tuning in. Let me know what your thoughts are in the comments. I'd love to discuss this further. And remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything.
