Taylor Swift Just Endorsed Kamala Harris

Taylor Swift endorsed Kamala Harris. The host criticizes Harris's proposed 25% tax on unrealized capital gains as an attack on investors, argues Trump's administration was better for business, and promotes his financial education platform as a way to achieve independence from high taxes.

Taylor Swift has just endorsed Kamala Harris in the presidential election in the US. This is massive. Like, I do not talk about American politics, but this is huge. Um, Taylor Swift is obviously a sensation. She's massive. Um, just when she did her UK tour She generated an extra billion of peripheral economy around the gigs she did and the stadiums she filled. She's, as the Americans say, a phenom. And I very much admire her, um, tenacity, persistence, talent, um, work ethic. So for someone like her who's so huge and a very loved figure to endorse someone in a presidential race is massive. So first off, let me know in the comments, are you pro-Trump or pro-Harris? Trump? Harris? Now, I'm not going to judge you, by the way. I know a lot of people, as soon as you say who you voted for, they judge you, they disown you. I'm not going to do any of that shit. It's not how I roll. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, and we should be able to have good discourse and debate. I personally would be very scared for the world if Harris became president. You know, she's looking at taxing 25% unrealized gains. So, you know, imagine you have a company worth a million. and then you just get a $250,000 tax bill even though you didn't draw the money or earn the money, and the company was just a paper valuation of a million, and you got lumped with a $250,000 tax bill. Imagine how the tech and VC and investor world will just crumble if these paper valuations of companies are charged 25% unrealized gains. This is a very left thing to do, and these proposals have been mooted before, and I think they should absolutely be squashed, squashed, squashed, squashed. You cannot tax unrealized gains. Next, they'll be taxing thoughts. Oh, you thought about business idea? Let's tax you 50% of your business idea in your mind. So no, no thank you. And it feels to me like Kamala Harris is like the Labour of America. Come in, tax the fuck out of everyone, tax your thoughts, tax your oxygen. And so it does scare me greatly. Um, I'm not saying Trump is perfect, but a lot of people don't really seem to realize Trump is very pro-business and entrepreneurship. You know, when he came into power last term, he got all the massive companies, all the biggest entrepreneur business owners in the world in a room. And it's like, we're going to help each other, guys. Now, okay, there might have been some backscratching. That's kind of normal in politics. We can't really do anything about that, but we need pro-business, pro-entrepreneurship pro-small-business. We need taxes to come down. We need economy to go up. We need to attract overseas investment. And, you know, America is the tail that wags the global dog. So even though we don't get to vote in American politics, it is really relevant what goes on in America. Obviously, they have the global reserve currency for the moment. Till China maybe take it. So it scared me a lot when I saw that Taylor Swift had endorsed Kamala Harris because she's huge. Maybe Donald Trump needs to go and get Cristiano Ronaldo to endorse him. So, you know, this massive division between the left and the right seems to be very unhealthy at the moment. And generally, Before big revolutions and empires that fall, you have this big division between the left and the right, and the wider that division becomes, the closer to riots and revolutions that you get. And history has shown this. And of course, we've been having riots in the UK. And that wasn't just the appalling stabbings. That's years of misery, years of soaring cost of living. Years of soaring taxes, years of soaring inflation, years of repression, Brexit, the C-word, lockdown, the V-word. All these things build up, build up, build up, build up, build up, and then bang, it all pops and explodes. In the UK, we need a major reform of the political system. We need a revolution. Politicians need to be held to account. There was no accountability for the lockdown and probably the more lives it lost than saved, like the studies afterwards suggest. So yeah, the, the world of politics is mad at the moment. So are you pro-Trump or pro-Kamala? Are you pro-no politician whatsoever? Does it scare you like it scares me that Taylor Swift endorsed Kamala Harris when, you know, she's talking about taxing unrealized gains? Like, that's a scam, by the way. Yeah, all valuations on paper can go up and down. You know, companies can go down 10, 15, 20% sometimes in their paper valuation. Billions were wiped off the valuations of some of these big companies when we came out of lockdown. If there's a recession or a crash or a little bit of a banking crisis, then on paper, valuations can come down 10%, 15%, 20%. Valuations are also very subjective, i.e., a company could be worth a billion, but on what multiplier or earnings ratio is that? On what day of the week is that, on who is buying it. So to then tax on a theoretical value on paper where no money has actually been realized, it's called unrealized gains. It's one of the biggest scams, one of the biggest scams. And I would never vote for someone who would tax on unrealized gains, because what that tells me is they'll tax your thoughts, They'll tax your ideas. They'll tax your discussions. They'll tax your oxygen. Honestly, that's how fucking Orwellian it is. Like, all the left do is they make enemies of the billionaires in PR. They take their money back door. So in the back door, they're getting their funding and donations. From the billionaires, but publicly they make enemies of them so that then all the masses go, yeah, fuck the billionaires, it's the billionaires' fault, yeah, tax the one unrealized gains, yeah, fuck them. And the very people who are employed by those billionaires are criticizing them on social media. It is wild, wild. Anyway, let me know what you think. Kamala Harris endorsed by Taylor Swift. Has that just won her the election? I mean, I don't know if you saw the debate literally, you know, overnight in the UK, but, you know, Kamala Harris did all right and she's looking quite strong. And I must admit, I thought when Donald Trump had the assassination attempt, you know, and he got his ear grazed and there's that photo of him going, "Wah!" I thought, there you go. You have just won the election in that moment. So much so, I wonder if he'd staged it. Now, I'm not— that's not even a theory, but you know what I mean. It made him look so good. Wow. And now I'm like, shit, Harris could win this. And believe you me, if you've got— if you'd like to not pay all of your money in tax, if you'd like to not be silenced and cancelled, I think you've got to go with Trump. That's just my opinion, by the way. Like, he seems to be fairly pro-free speech, Trump. He definitely seems to be pro-business and entrepreneurship. He doesn't seem to want to tax your ass off. Tax, you know, in the UK, Labour are talking about VAT on school fees. By the way, that doesn't hurt the rich, that hurts the middle class. So, you know, Everyone's saying, oh, poor rich people, private schools. No, it doesn't hurt the rich people, it hurts the middle class. And the middle class are now being pulled down into the working class because of the massive cost of living increase and because of inflation. They're talking about making capital gains tax, which is around about 20%, the same level as income tax, which is 45%. Now, by the way, you should be encouraged to invest in assets. If you invest in assets, then your money appreciates, you earn more income, and then more of that income is going to go into the economy. So you should be encouraged to invest in an asset. If you get capital gains tax of 45%, why are you going to bother investing in assets? It's just suicide for the economy. But they're talking about, man, Council tax going up. What do the council do for you? Everything's overgrown, the roads are fucked. This is crazy. So let me know what you think about Labour in the UK. Are Labour actually better? Is Keir Starmer doing any better? These lefty policies of just more tax, more tax, more tax, more tax, more tax is suicide for the economy and suicide for the nation. There's so many more ways to grow an economy. Bring in entrepreneurs, bring in investors, bring in overseas billionaires, bring in overseas companies, give people tax breaks. Seems to be no understanding of that whatsoever. And you know, I'm not necessarily right, but I'm just so opposed to this far-left bullshit. Ironically, all this far-left bullshit They're being paid by the people that they're criticizing. Utter madness. Anyway, look, you know me, I like to have a bit of a rant, but I also do like to offer solutions. So look, if you'd like to make, manage, and multiply money, build multiple streams of recurring income, get your tax bill down, get your income streams up, have personal financial freedom and control over your own destiny in life, and not be a victim to, you know, these lefty policies because actually there's only one way to get your tax bill down, and that's being an entrepreneur and starting a business. This debate she just had, she did pretty well, tied Trump up a bit. And I wonder if the pendulum has swung, because when the assassination attempt happened, I thought Trump's got this. He's got this. Let me know in the comments. And remember, I'm never going to shoot you down for you sharing your political opinions and views and who you might vote for. Never going to shoot you down for that.
