The 3 Enemies of Success ⛔️

In this motivational monologue, Rob Moore outlines three primary obstacles that prevent people from achieving success: (1) resistance to change, which stems from fear of rejection, ridicule, and perceived inadequacy; he urges listeners to embrace change, view challenges as opportunities, and confront the worst‑case scenario. (2) volatile, uncontrolled emotions, which he describes as feedback mechanisms that can lead to poor decisions when one is overly elated or depressed; he advises making important choices only when emotions are balanced and regulated. (3) making excuses and blaming external factors (government, lockdowns, family, weather, etc.), which he links to a deeper feeling of unworthiness and low self‑worth. He argues that taking full personal responsibility restores ownership and empowers action. Moore connects self‑worth to net‑worth, claiming that increasing belief in oneself and investing in knowledge directly raises earnings. He stresses that consistent action—learning by doing—is essential, noting that “more is said than done.” The talk concludes with a promotional pitch for his financial‑education platform, Rob.team, describing its low cost, extensive resources, and community, and repeatedly urging viewers to visit the site immediately to improve their mindset, skill set, and financial outcomes.

The 3 major enemies to success. Short, sweet, and simple, this one. Enemy number 1 to success is resistance to change. The only constant is change, and people resist change because They're scared. They fear rejection and ridicule. They fear and feel that they won't be good enough. But evolution is change. If you are green, you grow. If you are ripe, you rot. It is never too late to start, but always too late to wait. So if you embrace change rather than resist change, if you see the upside opportunity and not just the downside drawback, you are going to have a— sorry, a really bad stomach. I've had a migraine over the last 2 days. My stomach just keeps interrupting me. Let's try this again. The path of least resistance to success, in terms of realistic success, is embracing change, moving with the times, seeing the new opportunity. So when you find yourself resisting change, ask yourself What are you scared of? What's the worst that could happen? And maybe, just maybe, on the other side of the challenge, of the difficulty and the hardship, is everything that you'd ever wanted. Okay, the second enemy of success is uncontrollable, volatile emotions. So we are, of course, emotional creatures, and our emotions serve us. They serve us to keep us safe, to warn us as a reaction to the environment. They also reward us for progress and evolution. Good emotions are rewards for progress and evolution. Negative, or as we might call them, bad emotions, are warnings and threats to a hostile environment. That's essentially what emotions are. Emotions are feedback. But we take these emotions, we make them real, we can't handle the strength of them, we ping-pong and yo-yo in our emotions, and we make most of our bad decisions in emotional extremes. Elated, depressed. We make important decisions when we are unemotionally balanced. So for you to have more success is to make important decisions when you're balanced and regulated in your emotions, not when you're elated. You'll, um, make flippant and fast and too quick a decision without diligence and research and thought and consideration when you're elated. And of course, when you're depressed, you can make really bad life decisions, as we all know. That doesn't need any explaining. So just quick summary, the 3 enemies of success. Number 1, resistance to change. Your results and success and progress are on the other side of fear and resistance to change. Number 2, volatile emotions and not managing your emotions well, um, allowing yourself to go into emotional extremes and then, worst of all, making important decisions in those emotional extremes. And then the third great enemy of success— like I said, this one will be a quick short one. Making excuses and blaming the government, the lockdown, the banks, my parents, my employer, my clients, my customers, my staff, my kids, my wife, my husband, the weather. Anything that you blame owns you. Anything that you take responsibility for, you own. So do not let external factors own you. Now, sometimes you can't help things that happen. They might be traumatic, they might be out of your control, but you can help how you react to them and how you respond to them. So when you make, when you make excuses, when you blame, when you complain, then you are giving the power away to someone or some other entity, which is the opposite of success. The opposite— the opposite of making excuses and blaming is taking full, final, and personal responsibility. Now, many things you can control, and that which you can control, own, or it owns you. And that, that you can't control— own how you respond to the situation, not the situation itself. Now, ultimately, I believe that making excuses and blaming comes from an inner feeling of unworthiness. I'm not worthy of this. I can't do this. I'm not good enough. I don't believe in myself. So if you want to increase your net worth, you need to increase your self-worth, because the more you believe in you, the more you'll be able to do. So actually, making excuses and blaming comes from an inner feeling of unworthiness, not producing enough value, and that you can't do this. But I believe that you are worth more. And I believe if you want to increase that net worth, which right now everyone seems to want to, you must increase your self-worth too. You want to work on your mind as well as your money. And by the way, the more you learn, the more you earn. So if you invest in your knowledge and education and you get better understanding of money, of yourself, then your bank balance is likely to go up in direct correlation to how much you learn. Now, of course, that's implemented learning, not just theoretical learning. So if you'd like to implement the learning of earning and increasing your self-worth to increase your net worth, I recommend you join Rob.team. I told you it'd be a nice short one today. But you have to help yourself, because I would also probably add that one of the enemies of success is a lack of action. Because when all is said and done, more is said than done. To know and not to do is not to know. So if you just take consistent action, are you going to make mistakes? Yeah. Might you fail and fall over a few times? Yeah. But if you take consistent action— because if you don't risk anything, you risk everything— then you're going to be successful in the end, even if your skills aren't quite there yet. So just join Rob.team right now, um, because the 3 enemies of success, I believe, are resistance to change— because, um, comfort is the enemy of greatness— then volatile emotions and making decisions in emotional extremes rather than in the regulated balanced state. Your wisdom is highest highest in logic and regulated emotion. Your wisdom is lowest in extreme and volatile emotion. And then the third big enemy of success is making excuses and blaming and defending and complaining and justifying. And it's their fault, and it's the government's fault, and it's my parents' fault, and it's my kids' fault, and it's my employer's fault, and it's my staff's fault, and it's my customer's fault, it's my boss's fault. It's everyone else's fault but yours. The problem with that is Even if it is, if it's their fault, they own you. If it's your responsibility, you own them. So don't give ownership of action and implementation and improvement out to anyone else. You can't help if it rains on your wedding day. You can help how you respond and how much fun you have dancing in the rain. So it's not what happens to you, it's how you respond to what happens to you. And most people, they don't have a great response ability, i.e., the ability to respond. They don't have a great responsibility because they ultimately don't believe in themselves and they're scared. And what if they fail? And what if they get rejected? And what if they make a mistake? And what if they get ridiculed? And so they have ultimately low belief in themselves. Low self-worth equals low net worth. So if you'd like to increase your self-worth to increase your net worth and increase your learning to increase your earning, go join Rob.team. And remember the 3 enemies of success: number 1, resistance to change; number 2, volatile extreme emotions and making the decisions in an unbalanced and extreme emotional state; and then number 3, making excuses and blaming others. And giving the responsibility to someone else so they own you, instead of you taking responsibility so you own them. I believe that people make excuses and they blame because ultimately they have low belief in themselves, low self-worth, and that can be changed because it only takes faith to believe in yourself. You don't have to have the skills and knowledge now. You only have to have the desire to go and find them and go and learn them. I believe you have so much latent potential within you, but the problem is it's still within you. It's like everyone's got a book in them. The problem is it's still in them.
