The 6 Millionaire Income Streams (NOT work)

In this YouTube presentation, the speaker outlines seven distinct types of income that millionaires and billionaires use to build wealth, contrasting them with earned income, which merely trades time for money. He describes each of the six alternative streams—interest, profit, royalty, rental, dividend, and capital appreciation—explaining how they work, giving concrete examples (e.g., lending, buying and selling assets, licensing IP, renting property or equipment, owning dividend‑paying stocks, and benefiting from asset appreciation). The speaker emphasizes that most wealthy individuals combine several of these streams, typically having three to seven simultaneously. Throughout the talk he repeatedly promotes his membership platform, Rob.team, and a new “How to Invest” course, positioning them as the practical way for viewers to learn how to generate these passive or recurring income sources, start a company, and protect wealth amid economic uncertainty.

There are 6 main income streams, different types of income streams that millionaires and billionaires leverage to become millionaires and billionaires. Now, there are actually 7 different income streams in total, but the first one, which I call zero, is the one that everyone knows how to do but doesn't make you a millionaire, and that is earned income. Nothing wrong with earned income. The problem with earned income is you're exchanging your time for money. In fact, you know what, you're actually exchanging your life for money. And so this— the majority of millionaires have learned to transcend earned income and move into one of the other 6 income streams that I'm going to share with you. So the first of 6 income streams that millionaires leverage is interest income. Now, interest is either from savings or lending money. Now, of course, when interest rates are really low like they are, you don't get a lot of money in the bank. But actually, lenders are making good money right now because they have a good margin over and above the interest rate. So if you can build up some income to lend it securely, you can start to make really good money. Obviously, the, the borrowers are the broke people, the lenders are the rich people. Okay, the next way that millionaires become millionaires, uh, and the type of income stream is profits income. So we've just covered interest income and now profits income. And you get profits income from either buying and selling assets and making a profit or owning a company and making profits in the company. Now, there's major benefits of owning a company. You can offset taxes and expenses. You can make profits. There's many benefits. You own a great asset. You could sell it. It could create income. But profit income is nice and lumpy. So interest income's not huge, a few percent of the capital value, but it's pretty passive. Profit income can be much bigger, but it's a bit more active. Okay, the next type of income is royalty-based income. Now, royalty-based income is income from assets you have that other people use, rent, or license. So royalties could be in the form of your music, your content, your books or audiobooks, your copyright material, your intellectual property, your franchise, etc. So if you build assets that other people want to use or rent, then you can gain ongoing recurring royalty income. Royalty income is great because it's recurring and passive. If you have a franchise with a manual, once that's done, you get a share of the profits. If you wrote a song in the 1970s and it's still becoming number one at Christmas like Slade did, then you get recurring income from royalties. It's a great income stream. You could have designs, inventions, and patents. Okay, the next type of income that millionaires and billionaires leverage is rental income. This is one of my biggest ones. I have 1,550 tenants who pay me rental income. Now, rental income— one second, excuse me. Uh, yes, of course, property is the main income stream that most of us understand. But actually, there's many things that you could rent out. You could rent out cars, you could rent out clothes, you could rent out tooling and machinery, etc. So rental is from a physical asset that you rent out. Okay, so there's two more. Then there's dividend income. Now, dividend income is either from stocks or shares that you own. You buy stocks in companies, uh, and then you get the dividend income from the profits that the companies make and pay out. Or you own your own company and then you gain, um, dividends. You draw dividends from your own company. Adam has just mentioned garages are something you could rent out. Car parking spaces are something you could rent out. A room in your house on Airbnb you could rent out. There's so many different things you could rent out to get rental income. Dividend income is only really two sources: companies that you don't— you didn't start, but you buy shares in, or companies that you owned. And then the final type of income stream that millionaires leverage and billionaires is capital. Now, capital isn't actually defined as income technically. Income is incoming cash flow. Capital is lump sum cash and money. But capital I love, because if you own an asset and it has capital appreciation and you have equity, that's large lumps of cash or protection capital And of course, you know, many people start a company from nothing and get— build a million, $100 million, or a billion dollar valuation, and that is capital value. So my question to you is this: how many of the 7 different income streams are you generating income from? Of course, you're all exchanging time for money in the earned income, but let me ask you this: are you generating interest-based income from cash? Profits-based income from buying and selling or owning companies. Royalty-based income from assets that other people rent or license. Rental income from properties and other things that you can rent out—car parking spaces, garages, tooling, machinery, clothing, cars, watches—you name it, it can be rented out as long as other people want to use it. Dividend income from stocks that you own or companies that you started. And then capital from asset appreciation and equity. So if you're not earning multiple streams of this income, then you're probably not yet a millionaire, because the millionaire has on average 3 to 7 different income streams and sources.
