I have said often that the banks are a big threat to your money. And I believe this to be true, but it's not the biggest threat. I've said that taxes are a big threat to your money and your freedom. This is true, but it's not the biggest threat. What else have I said? Governments, banks, wars, taxes— these are all threats to your money. Divorces are obviously a threat. To your money and your freedom. You know, the country that you're in and how difficult it is to make money or launch a business, these are all threats to your money and your freedom. But actually, the single biggest threat to your money and your freedom— silver coin to anyone who can guess what I'm about to say— it is 3, 2, 1. It's ignorance. Because the opposite of ignorance is knowledge. It's enlightenment, I suppose. So if you're ignorant to how the banks work, if you're ignorant to the fact that the banks are a for-profit corporation and not a public service, if you're ignorant to how to get your tax bill down, if you're ignorant how to start a business, If you're ignorant of how the economy works, then this is the biggest threat to your money and your freedom. And you know, I have ranted a lot, if you watch my content, against the central banks, the governments, you know, HMRC and taxes and all of them maybe being a bit monopolistic or controlling or unfair. But there's only one antidote and solution to this, and this is knowledge. And knowledge is power. My dad always said this to me. My dad used to say, Ignorance isn't bliss, it's ignorance.
