The Govt. Just Waged War on Your Money

Rob Moore argues the UK government's mini-budget triggered £45-£150 billion in new borrowing, weakening the pound and prompting the Bank of England and IMF to raise interest rates. He blames lockdown waste and poor fiscal discipline for the crisis, calling for productivity and growth rather than money printing to avoid depression.

The government have just waged a war on your money, but not how you might think. Because you can wage a war by offense into another country, or you can wage a war by defending your land and your position. And I think the UK government and the mini-budget is clearly one of those tactics, which I will share in a moment. But there is now a war going on between the Bank of England, the IMF, the International Monetary Fund, the pound, and all the overseas investment and I have never seen anything like it. And my opinion seems to be somewhat unpopular, certainly if you compare it to reading the media and the news. But I think what I'm about to say needs to be said. So first off, I'm going to give you a quick timeline, 1 or 2 minutes, on what's happened in case you didn't see. So the UK mini-budget was a series of small tax cuts, small tax cuts, or, um, stopping tax increases and supporting all classes of people from the first-time buyers up to the business owners. And there was a clear vision and strategy for growth, which the UK government believe is the only way out of this crisis, which I agree with, by the way, and for everyone to have a better standard of living. Now, some people have taken this way out of context. Oh, it's just tax cuts for the 1%. Bullshit. Oh, it's all about trickle-down economics. Bullshit. So the removal of the new, basically, NHS tax, the National Insurance rise— these are not for the top 1%. These are for the people. There was the lower bracket of income tax reduction. There was also the increase in the stamp duty threshold up to £450,000 for first-time buyers, which helps the lower 99%, not the top 1%. The top 1% don't get any benefit for a stamp duty cap raised to £450,000, because their garage costs more than that. So actually, this whole, "Oh, it's trickle-down economics, feed the rich and it will trickle down to the poor," that actually didn't happen, it wasn't true. Yes, there were some benefits to the upper class, if you like, the higher earners, who by the way pay more tax, actual and percentage. So it was completely taken out of context, and it was just a lowball political brinkmanship move by Labour to— they basically bullsh— it was just like, oh, it's only for the 1%. That was bullshit. Because people didn't look at the mini budget properly. So that happened, the mini budget, which was— it looked like about 12 different tax reductions or stopping increases, uh, or supports for first-time buyers. That happened. Then because of that a large amount of debt was created by the government. So it was £45 billion required for that. £60 billion is required for the next 6 months for the energy cap raise, uh, you know, the guarantee, and that'll be £150 billion. So all of a sudden, the government have to borrow a big lump of billions. So then overseas markets panic because government are creating more debt. Um, so the pound weakens because of it, because the faith in the pound is lower. That makes the Bank of England panic because they want overseas investment and they don't want a weak pound. So they start printing a shitload more money and buying it back, and interest rates are pressured to go up because if interest rates go up, then that's more attractive to foreign investment. And now the Bank of England have intervened and basically said that this move by the government, uh, could really hike up interest rates, really hike up prices. But one thing that no one is fucking saying is this has been happening for years. How can you blame Liz Truss and our chancellor when finally one thing that they did is for the people. Like, these massive institutions don't give a fuck about the people. The overseas investors don't give a fuck about the people. The Bank of England and the IMF don't give a fuck about the people. But actually, for the first time in years, I looked at a government and thought, you care about the people. You are funding energy cap increases, which was fucked up by the last government, by the way. This current government, these current leaders— I mean, in fact, the last leader and the leader before didn't fuck up the energy issue. We don't have any energy independence, even though we kind of do, but we don't. So we have energy blackmail, and this was fucked up decades ago. This was not the fault of the current leadership. Pandemics and lockdowns and massive inflation and massive taxation and now increasing interest rates was fucked up years ago, and now all of a sudden there's a massive, like, war on the UK government. I think it's outrageous. And I personally believe that our UK government will be damned if they do and damned if they don't. Because here's the thing, if Rishi came in, your taxes wouldn't have just gone up, but they would have gone up, up. And how would you have felt about that? So be careful what you wish for, people. Now, all of a sudden there's a fucking great big war going on. IMF are pretty much openly criticizing the UK government. That's rare. Uh, the Bank of England feel that they've been undermined by the UK government. That's quite rare. The pound is really weak, really, really weak, weak, weak. But all of this shit was created by selfish leadership, by lack of vision, by lack of understanding of economics and economies, by too many lockdowns, by tens and hundreds of billions wasted on shit that was a waste. So supporting the people by funding some of their energy raise is not a waste of money. And reducing taxes is not a waste of money, not in my eyes. I don't know what you think. But lockdown 2 and soft lockdown 3, which would have cost £100 billion plus, waste of fucking money. Track and trace app, tens of billions, waste of fucking money. Tens of billions of PPE equipment written off, not fit for purpose, waste of money. Way too many people in government, waste of money. So all these tens and hundreds of billions were wasted. And now right at the end, the UK, current UK leadership are getting all the stick for it while Boris can go off and probably now do quarter of a million pound keynote speeches. What? So I'm just openly saying, I think, look, the government aren't going to do everything right, but having a clear vision for growth and supporting the people and doing your bit to soften the blow to them and reduce the taxes, which were getting ridiculous. Corp tax was going from 19% to 25%, and Rishi basically said he'd be putting them up more. You can't tax more than 100%. Tax would end up being 110%. It's a joke. Wow. So look, the world is batshit crazy, and I believe— I've been saying this for 3 years— there's one way out of a massive depression. Because I have been saying a big depression could come. Do you think the depression is coming, or do you just think it will be a recession? Recession or depression? Let me know in the comments. But I've been saying since the start of the lockdown, if we are not careful, because of the hundreds of billions we are spending and at the same time stopping production, stopping productivity, stopping economy, stopping growth, stopping supply chains. I've been saying this could create a great big depression and could end up proving that a lot of the superficial things that kept the economy there were essentially a bubble. In my opinion, through running a real economy, which is a business, Because by the way, a lot of these people who sit in their ivory towers creating policy don't run real economies. The government isn't a real economy, it's a false economy, because it doesn't have to trade solvently. It can trade illegally and insolvently. Well, when I say trade illegally, if you knowingly traded insolvently and at a continued loss as a business, that is fraud. That could wind you up in prison. That is illegal. But the government seems to be able to do it however and whenever they want. So a real economy is a business that has to trade in surplus, has to make a profit. So I believe the only way out of a massive depression is growth. Now yeah, there are some artificial things you can do for growth. You can play around with inflation and interest rates and things like that. You can print money for fun. These are all short-term, but long-term, in my humblest of opinions and experience, because I have 110 staff in my offices, probably another 25 to 30 outsourcers. At one point I had 200 staff with all my contractors. You know, I'm talking an 8-figure-plus-a-year revenue economy. The only way we make profit is to A, grow, and B, be lean. So you grow, you lean up wastage. You grow, you lean up wastage. You grow, you lean up wastage. That is how you grow. And the government have increased the wastage and increased the expenditure and not grown. By the way, as a business, I can't just go, oh, we haven't got much money, I'm going to print 10 million of Monopoly money, Robcoin. I'm going to make Robcoin and just print it to grow my economy. But that's what the government are doing right now— quantitative easing. Quantitative easing reduces the value of your money. Really high inflation reduces the value of your money. Increase in prices reduces the value of your money. Limited supply ultimately ends up in increasing prices and reducing the value of your money. Increase in taxes reduces the value of your money. Increased government debt reduces the value of your money. Increased interest, if you've got borrowing, reduces the value of your money because it increases your expenses. It's a fucking gangbang on your money. There is a war gangbang on your money from every freaking angle. And I don't believe it was caused by the current leadership, and I think the current leadership are on the right road. Because here's what we need to do. It is fucking simple. We don't need to work from home 3 days a week. We need to work fucking harder. Work from home? No. Work fucking harder? Yes. We need to stop lockdowns and shutdowns and restrictions, and we need to increase productivity Increase production, increase supply, increase supply chains. We need to build more, make more. We need to have more industry, more innovation, more disruption, more design, more technology. And the more we build and the more we make, that trickles down because we need more people to do that, so our employment goes up. We attract foreign investment in the form of money for these innovations and these inventions. We have a lot of production that we can supply to other countries, which will strengthen the pound. Give us some— look, I'm not saying we need to have the British Empire like we used to. We need to build and make and produce, and then that trickles down. And I'm not talking about trickle-down economics, I'm just talking about the trickle-down of unemployment goes down, um, and production goes up. And therefore revenue goes up, and therefore revenue trickles down. Because revenue does trickle down. That's what I believe we need to do, and that's what the government are trying to do. And you fucking know it's like they've waged a war. It's like they've lit the torch paper and they've just set a bomb off. It's fucking unbelievable. All these people in their ivory tower who used to work in the Bank of England or are sitting on the committee in the IMF. What did they do in the last 3 years to help? Craziness. Anyway, they're my thoughts. Let me know what you think in the comments. I always like to end with, um, positivity, opportunity, and solution. So here's some positivity, opportunity, and solution. Go join right now. Larry has said here you should be telling people to buy Bitcoin. No, I shouldn't. Um, if I go and tell everyone to buy Bitcoin and then Bitcoin tanks and then they sell, that's on me. So if I'm telling people to buy Bitcoin, I've got to give them context. Context number 1 is if you're going to invest in something like Bitcoin, only do it with risk capital you can afford to lose. Step number 2, if you're going to buy Bitcoin, buy it for the very long term. Because you'll make more money holding than you will buying and selling, and you could mistime the buy and the sell. Don't invest all of your money in any asset class— not Bitcoin, not property, not anything. Bitcoin's good because it's decentralized, and I see the benefits of Bitcoin right now with the lack of trust in government, the lack of trust in money and tax and the system and cash and massive inflation and quantitative easing and the debasing of money. This is why you must be out of cash and you must be in assets. This is why you must invest in your education and knowledge about money, because you are losing money so hard right now if you hold any cash or savings. Cash, savings, bonds, etc., anything backed by government, it's just going down hard. 30% or more in the last 3 years. That's not an asset, that's a liability. But most people don't know this. And the government don't want you to know this because they need your money. If it was public knowledge that savings and bonds were negative returns and everyone barked on about it, everyone would pull their money out of the system and the system would just be fucked. People say to me, 'Rob, why isn't this stuff taught in schools?' Because of this. Because the system doesn't want you to know this. Now, Ryan has said, 'Nah, I prefer big wads of cash.' Of course, cash is nice to hold. But it proves a lack of financial education that, um, anyone would think that cash is better than an asset. Cash is not an asset, it's a liability. Cash goes down in value, real estate goes up in value. Cash goes down in value, gold goes up in value. Cash is a depreciating liability. Now you need it and it's a bloody useful tool, don't get me wrong, but it is not an asset. So depreciating liability. So the more wads of cash you have, the more depreciation and vulnerability to inflation and quantitative easing and debasement of cash that you are. There's also loss and theft. There's also your own emotional spending. So for 5 ways at least, cash is one of the worst assets. This is why you guys need to join rob.team, because people don't know this shit. And it's not your fault, you weren't taught it by the school, because the school system is governed by the government, so it doesn't want you to know this stuff because it doesn't benefit it. Basically, the system needs you to work your whole life and pay your 50% tax, and because it is what that is, from 18 to 75. It also needs you to pay into the state pension, which it will probably spend. And then what it also needs you to do is borrow a shitload of money and pay hundreds of thousands in interest over your life. And if it teaches you how to be independent and financially free, You won't be that comatose, you know, blood bank that they want you to be. This is why it's not taught in the system. Something to think about. So right now, the government inadvertently waged a war on your money because the Bank of England, uh, pretty much said that, um, they've been undermined and the Bank of England have intervened and started printing a load more money, um, which is devaluing the value of your money, by the way. And that won't stop. That will never stop. Hasn't stopped since August 1971, and it won't stop. Since 1971, real estate, done that. Gold, done that. Stock market, done that. Money, done that. Done that. So a lot of people here are recommending rob.team because they think it's very valuable. I want to thank everyone. For the shoutouts for Rob.team. Go join Rob.team. Type Rob.team into a new web page right now. Masterclasses, courses, and resources for less than 20 pence a day. Cancel anytime, no ongoing contract. And you just type in Rob.team. It's crazy right now. You must protect your money. You must be decentralized. You must be diversified. You must have physical assets as well as intangible assets. You must get better financial education and knowledge. You must have multiple streams of income. You must have recurring or passive income. You must have at least 15% appreciation in your asset base a year just to beat inflation right now. There's all this shit, all this stuff you've got to do, and Rob.team will teach you how. Thanks for tuning in. It's crazy times. Let me know what you think's going on in the comments. Woo-hoo! Last 2 days just blew the fuck up. And I wonder if you wouldn't mind sharing this. Let's get the discussion out there. Someone's got to rant about it, and it's me. I feel like I'm the only person on the planet defending the government right now. It's quite ironic, because I was critical in lockdown too. I was like, that was just a terrible decision. But we've got different leadership now. I feel like I'm the only one defending them. It's been nice to know you. I might get cancelled. And remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything. Um, Gavin has said this is one giant sales pitch for you to sign up to his team. Well, no, it's not, because the rob.team offer is about one quarter of the duration of the video. So Gavin, technically wrong in the first instance that it's not one great big sales pitch because it's about one quarter of the content or less. Number 2, saying he doesn't give a crap about you. I do content every single day. Every single day I do content for free. So again, another factually incorrect statement. And yeah, Rob.Moore is 20 pence a day, so I ain't trying to sell it, I'm just telling it. I mean, it's not like I'm selling something for 20 grand. Oh, and by the way, what's wrong with selling your products and services? Gavin, do you do anything? Do you have a job? Do you get paid for that job, or do you do that for— No, Gavin, you should do your job for free. Do you know you going to work is just one great big sales pitch for you getting paid? That's immoral and that's unethical. You should go and work for free. And if you're a business, oh no, you shouldn't run any ads. You shouldn't ask anyone for any money. It's just one great big sales pitch for you selling your trade. Fucking hell, mate. Come on. Do you need a hug, Gavin? Do you want a little hug? I'll give you a little hug. I'll help you if you want, Gavin. Struggling with anything? Let me know. Email support@robmoore.com with a question. That, you know, I could maybe help you with, I'll happily answer it. I might even do a live subject on it if you want, Gavin, if you're up for it. If you've just had a bad day, I'll give you a hug. See you later, everyone!
