The Great Crypto Collapse of 2022 ⛔️

In this YouTube monologue, the speaker examines the 2022 crypto turmoil, focusing on the rapid collapse of FTX and the emerging bank‑run‑like situation at Crypto.com. He argues that the loss of trust and liquidity can turn a multi‑billion‑dollar exchange to zero within days, and warns that similar runs could soon hit traditional banks as governments increase taxes, inflation, and debt. While acknowledging the risk of a broader recession or depression, he frames the crisis as a massive opportunity: wealth will flow from failing exchanges to content creators, digital entrepreneurs, and owners of recurring‑income assets. He urges viewers to diversify, build multiple income streams, and invest in digital and physical assets. The speaker then promotes his own platform, Rob.team, offering low‑cost membership, masterclasses, live events, and a free financial‑toolkit (bit.ly/robtoolkit) to help people survive and thrive during the downturn. Throughout, he solicits audience opinions on whether crypto will survive, whether a bank run is imminent, and how to capitalize on the situation.

The great crypto collapse of 2022. Will we look back in a decade and see this as the great collapse of cryptocurrency? That is the question. Now, Crypto.com are currently experiencing the crypto version of a bank run. So, um, maybe Crypto.com will stop withdrawals. It happened with FTX just recently. FTX went from $16 billion to zero in days. Sam Bankman-Fried, Sam SBF as they call him, the owner of FTX, went from $6 billion net worth to virtually zero net worth in 72 hours. Is this the great crypto collapse, not just of 2022 but of the last decade? And will we look back and look at it as this? Now I've got a couple of questions and a couple of things to suggest for you. Number 1, do you think crypto survives this? Let me know what you think in the comment, because FTX gone. Like, $16 billion to zero in 72 hours. Gone. Now, Crypto.com, there's a run on it. You know what a bank run is? Well, this is a crypto bank run. There's a run on it. If they stop withdrawals, could that go from billions to zero? Do you think that crypto survives this? Now, crypto Bitcoin has survived 2 or more huge crashes already, and it's not dead yet. So let me know what you think. Does crypto survive this? I think crypto junkies believe that crypto is the future, decentralization is the future, Bitcoin is truly decentralized, Bitcoin will defeat all. It will survive. And then others think, well, the governments don't want decentralized cryptos, so they're all going to get wiped out. Warren Buffett thinks that Bitcoin goes to zero. Are you a Bitcoin and crypto goes to zero person, or are you crypto will survive this because it survived this before and the future is in decentralization? Let me know what you think. Kyler said crypto 100% will survive. Um, Ferris has said it will survive if there's regulations, although if it's overregulated by government, maybe that's not a good thing because then it's not decentralized. So this is huge, huge news. So that's the first thing I wanted to just discuss. So FTX went from $16 billion to zero. Sam Bankman-Fried, um, the owner, went from $6 billion to zero. Uh, and now there's a run on Crypto.com, and that could go from billions to zero. The next thing I want to say, and this is a prediction but it's my opinion, is that the banks will be next, and there will be a run on one or more banks coming very soon. Um, the UK Chancellor has just announced that taxes will go up and spending will go down. Well, the UK is already one of the highest taxed nations in the world, and now we are going to get taxed more. Taxation on the rise, inflation on the rise, interest rates on the rise, cost of food on the rise, cost of energy energy on the rise, cost of living on the rise. So, uh, there's going to be a run on the banks. The banks are bust, the governments are in trillions of debt, massive quantitative easing, massive devalue and debasement of currency. So you're seeing these run on essentially crypto exchanges, which they're not a bank, but you could say they're the crypto equivalent of a bank. Well, I predict that you're going to see a run on a bank coming soon to a bank near you. And then when one goes, they could all go, and then this recession that's coming will become a depression. I really believe this. Now, some people are calling me the doom monger of Europe. No, no, no, this is reality. And you know what? I started saying since lockdown that you cannot lock a country down, you cannot stop trading for months, you cannot stop trillions of dollars flying around the economy without a 3, 5, or 10-year consequence, without increased tax, without increased printing of money. You just can't. And they've been delaying recessions and corrections for years with, you know, essentially modern monetary policy, which is essentially just creating debt and printing money. So, you know, what goes up must come down. So let me know what you think. Um, Adam has said that, um, his friend has $200,000 locked in BlockFi that he can't withdraw. And as soon as, as soon as there's a bit of a run and everyone sees that there's a run and there's a threat, or that the exchanges stop withdrawals, that's it, that's the end, that's the end. Once trust is gone, that's the end, because money is just imaginary, money is just ethereal, it's debt. So the only way, um, ethereal intangible debt-based money works is if you trust it, and as soon as the trust is gone, it's gone. And that's why these crashes go from $16 billion to zero in 72 hours, because once the trust is gone, it's gone, and everyone goes on the run, and they haven't got the liquidity, and they're out. And this is going to happen in the banks. Banks only keep 10% of the deposits, so all you need is 11% of the money requested out on the same day or the same week, and bang, the bank— I mean, the banks are already bust. It's really unfair that the banks are allowed to trade insolvently and basically allowed to be broke and bankrupt. Whereas if you did that as a company owner, you'd either be struck off as a director or put in jail. But that's how the system works. So the banks will be next, mark my words. And let me know if you agree with that. Do you think the Great Depression is coming? Do you think if there's a run on the crypto exchanges, the run on the banks come next? Let me know what you think. Now, by the way, with every depression there is an aggression. With every downside there is an upside. Any— with every amount of people that go bust, you get new millionaires. More millionaires are made in a recession than any other time. Um, so there is great opportunity. The great opportunity is in what's the new business model, what's the new opportunity. If, if billions is moving away from crypto exchanges and e-commerce and retail, where are those billions going? I can tell you those billions are going to YouTubers, podcasters, content creators, information and entertainment providers. This is where the billions are going. So do you know how to leverage the opportunity? That's my question to you. Do you know how to start and scale an online business? Do you know how to make, manage, and multiply money? So what do you think, my friends? Do you think that, uh, 2022 will be the year of the biggest crash in crypto history? Do you think crypto survives? I personally think Bitcoin survives. I think many of the platforms, they don't survive. Why? Because they're not decentralized. Uh, and then, so I don't want to get into speculation, but many of these crypto exchanges are taking the money that's in the exchange and then they're using that money. It's like when the banks take your money and lend it out. And I have a problem with that because then if liquidity is required and they're not liquid, they can go bust even if they're not pro— even if they are profitable. So in any business— crypto, bank, your own business— you can be profitable, but if you're not liquid, you can go bust because you're making profit but the cash you need to overcome short-term challenges, you've loaned out or you've used somewhere else. So with these exchanges, they're taking their liquidity and they're using it elsewhere, and then when that liquidity is needed, they haven't got it, and then they go bust and everything goes to shit. And that's happening on these exchanges. That happened on FTX. I don't think that happens in Bitcoin, because Bitcoin's not like that. Bitcoin is fully decentralized. So I think Bitcoin survives. I think many of these altcoins or these shitcoins die. I think many of the exchanges die. Don't leave your money on the exchanges, it's not secure there. Um, and for crypto to really survive, it needs to be fully decentralized, and most of them aren't. Most of them are essentially just a business for the founder. So they're my thoughts. What are your thoughts? Let me know. Do you then think that this now becomes a bank run? So, um, there's been a bank run in Lebanon, there's bank runs in China and Japan. I think bank runs are coming to a bank near you. So keep minimal savings, maximum investments. How you want your income is from recurring income from assets. That's how you want your income. You don't want it in the bank sat in a lump. You want assets that produce recurring income. That recurring income comes in, then you put it into another asset, you spend what you need to spend. You put it into watches, put it into gold, start another business, and you multiply your capital base from the income streams, and you keep reinvesting it, and you don't sit on lumps of cash. Um, because if there's a bank run, your cash is gone. Your bank— your money is not guaranteed. You think it is? It's not. Your money is not insured. You think it is, but it's not. So I'm not being a doom monger, I'm being a reality monger. Let me know what you think, because I really believe this will happen. But let me just say this one more time. This could be the biggest opportunity ever. This could be— in a depression will be an aggression, which means the lower the market goes, the more money some people are going to make. In the last recession, I made loads of money. I bought loads of cheap real estate. So it's actually a great opportunity, but you mustn't get ready, you must be ready. You must learn and earn and then invest. And you must understand how to be in assets, digital assets, physical assets. Out of bank, out of soft money liability cash. Cash is a liability, it's a soft asset. So anyway, let me know what you think in the comments. And one final thing is I want to give a gift to everyone. So I know many people are struggling right now. You know, Amazon, they went down by a trillion dollars. Twitter let go of 70-odd percent of their workforce. Um, Facebook let go of 13,000 staff.
