The Great Twitter Scam ⛔️

Twitter claimed only 5% of accounts were fake or bots, but the real number is likely much higher. This misrepresentation gave Elon Musk grounds to renegotiate his $44 billion acquisition deal. The speaker calls for transparent data on account authenticity and advocates for decentralized, open-source alternatives to big tech.
Chapters
The great Twitter scam. I don't know if you're watching what's going on between Elon Musk and Twitter, but the saga of the potential acquisition of Twitter has been going on now— April, May, June, July— 4 months. Elon Musk put a $44 billion offer in, and now it looks like the deal is dead. And there's 2 or 3 things I think is really important to discuss about this. I'll be super quick, um, but social media needs disruption. Big Tech needs accountability. We need more decentralization, more freedom of speech, less control over our data and the manipulation on the algorithms and what's seen and what isn't. This society is clearly upset with how controlled we are by big tech media and social media. We all know that. Thousands of you have been discussing that in the threads in my videos. And I thought Getter, Rumble, or some other new disruptive social media platform would come and disrupt. But Elon Musk looked like the white knight riding on the white stallion in his armor to come and disrupt and challenge social media into becoming more decentralized. More fair, more open source, more free of speech. And now it looks like the Twitter deal is dead. And here's the thing that's going to happen. Elon Musk is going to get blamed for that, and I can't see that it's his fault. Now look, I don't have the facts, but here's the great Twitter scam. Are you ready? The great Twitter scam is that Twitter essentially are not a free speech platform. They do a deal with Elon Musk and they know that he's going to make changes for open source algorithm and free speech. They quote to him in the deal that there are 5% spam bot and fake accounts. And when Elon Musk asks for, um, the proof of this, they're not forthcoming. Now, why would Elon Musk's lawyers say they've tried and tried and tried to get the proof of the fake spam and bot accounts. If they hadn't, they wouldn't. They wouldn't. So here's— look, Ferdy has just said in this, in the comments, Musk is running out of money. This is my point. So many people are going to blame Elon Musk. Oh, the stock market's gone down, he's going to want to renegotiate the deal, he's run out of money, he's got too many things on, yada yada. I don't buy it. I'm sorry, I do not buy it. I believe that there are way more than 5% fake, spam, and bot accounts on Twitter. Are you telling me there is only 5% or less fake, spam, and bot accounts on Twitter? Apparently Joe Biden, half of his account are not real accounts. Apparently. I don't have the facts on that. That was just something I read and saw from a fairly credible source. So you're trying to tell me there's only 5% spam, fake, or bot accounts? You let me know. In fact, let's do a little quiz, a little poll. No prizes, just ego, just, um, the pleasure of being correct. How many, as a percentage, uh, fake, spam, or bot accounts do you think are on Twitter? Just let me know in the comments. How many fake, spam, bot accounts, as a percentage, do you think they're on Twitter? Because Twitter said 5%, and they did the deal based on 5%. So if you went into a shop and you were going to buy all the stock, and the, um, the shopkeeper said, well, 5% of the stock's not very good, but 95% of the stock is perfect, we'll do a deal at, um, $1,000. And then you find out that 50% of the stock is dead and off and old and expired, you would want to change the price. You would want to know, um, what the actual number is. So someone has said 20% fake accounts, spam accounts, bot accounts. Kevin has said 50%. Someone else has said 98%. 10 to 20%, it's rife. So there you go, more than 35%. So I feel like someone's got to stand up for Elon Musk because Elon Musk is getting a bad rap here. People are saying, oh, he's taken on too much. He's just had twins. He's got too many kids. He's got loads of companies. He can't handle it. Um, yeah, he's run out of money. He hasn't got the money to buy it yet. And they're all saying this stuff. But every single one of you in the comments is saying 10%, 15%, 20%, 50%, or more fake, spam, or bot accounts. If Twitter only had 5% or less fake, spam, or bot accounts, they would just show the evidence. It would be easy. There you go, Elon, there's the evidence, let's do the deal. But they're wriggling. Apparently, according to Elon Musk's lawyer, they're either not responding, giving vague, inaccurate data, So what, what can Elon Musk do? If I was Elon Musk and I'd done a deal at $44 billion based on 5% fake spam or bot accounts, and there were 20% or 30%, I would be dropping the price. And my deal based on $44 billion would be incumbent upon an accurate number of real versus fake accounts, of course, because was Elon Musk buying when he buys Twitter. He's buying the users. And if there's less users, there's a lower price. So I support Elon Musk in that if it's true that there's more than 5% spam, fake, or bot accounts, he's totally within his rights to pull out of the deal or reduce the price. And Twitter, stand up and give the proof. Just do it. Just get the deal done. So everyone here is having a go at Elon Musk. I just think it's a massive scam if Twitter have said there's 5% fake accounts when we all freaking know there's way more. Way more. Well, I believe so. That's my opinion. And if anyone wants to prove me otherwise, or if anyone at the head of Twitter wants to come on my podcast Disruptors and talk about it, or just prove it, just show that. And if it's less, tell him it's less and accept a lower deal. So for me, Twitter, ah, ah, ah, ah, you're chucking Elon Musk under the bus. Elon Musk has done a lot for this planet. Get the deal done. So let me know what you think in the comments, but I believe the great Twitter scam is that there can be no way only 5% fake, spam, or bot accounts, and they allowed Elon Musk to make an offer based on that, and now there doesn't seem to be any forthcoming information and proof of that. Many of you have said you believe there's between 10% and 98% fake, spam, or bot accounts. Here's the thing. What Twitter have said, they remove 1 million fake accounts a day. 1 million fake accounts a day they remove. So how can there only be 5% fake, spam, or bot accounts? Come on, give us real information. Look, the public, the people, us, we want truth. We want real information. We can handle the truth if it's not that great. We want real facts and information. We're pissed off with being lied to. We're pissed off with being conned and manipulated. The government do it, politicians do it. We're fucking pissed off with that. Just tell us the truth. Oh, the freaking scam. Let me know what you think in the comments. Right, look, there's a lot going on in the world right now. I was really hoping that Elon Musk would buy Twitter and then make the algorithm open source, make it more free speech, bring back those people that got banned that shouldn't have been banned, and make sure that we can all have our say without getting canceled, deplatformed, banned, ridiculed, ostracized, banished, because it seems to be happening to anyone with a fair opinion. And there can only be one reason why they're not. And why would Elon Musk's lawyers say that they're either not or they're providing vague information? And I think we all freaking know that there's way more than 5% fake, spam, and bot accounts. Let me know in the comments how much as a percentage you think on Twitter would be fake, spam, or bot. I can see people are saying between 15% and 98%. Someone said 100%, but mine isn't fake, so it's not 100%. But come on, Twitter, it's a scam. You're freaking scamming.
