The Truth About the Price of Gold (Warning)

In this video Rob Moore warns that gold is at an all‑time high but stresses that the real cost is not the current price – it’s the cost of not buying it now. He explains that gold’s price has risen roughly 600% since 2000 and about 1,900% since 1975, while cash has lost about 86% of its value, making gold a superior long‑term hedge against inflation, currency devaluation, wars, and economic crises. Moore argues that gold should be viewed as a storage asset rather than a trade, and he outlines practical considerations such as where to buy, how to store, tax implications, and the possibility of holding gold in a pension. He then launches the Money.School Gold Level program – an advanced gold and silver investing series that includes live weekly sessions, mentorship, and detailed guidance on buying, storing, and tax‑efficient investing. The program is offered at less than £1 per day with a limited‑time price that will double within 48 hours, emphasizing urgency. Moore positions gold (and silver) as the foundation of a resilient portfolio and positions his course as essential knowledge not taught in traditional economics education.

Warning, the truth about the price of gold. Lots of people confused right now. Gold keeps hitting an all-time high. People don't know if it's the right time to buy or not. They don't really understand where to buy gold, where to store gold. And I'm gonna just open up some truths about the price of gold. So first thing is the biggest price of gold or the cost is not buying it. So people are trying to time it. You know, some people have a basic level of knowledge and they know about buying in the dips or observing the masses and doing the opposite. But the thing with gold is you don't buy it to trade unless you're an absolute professional. And by the way, I know one and I can introduce you to him. And gold is the best hedge against uncertain times. And right now we're in uncertain times. So if you wanna buy gold, you don't worry about the price of buying it today, you worry about the cost of not buying it today. And here's why. So can anyone guess what the price of gold was in the year 2000? Bearing in mind it's over $3,200 an ounce now. Now. Now I was buying it when I first started buying it at $700 an ounce. And has it gone up and down? Of course trajectory up, but yeah, it's gone up in parts and down in parts. You know, if you zoom in on an upward curve, it goes up, goes down, goes up, goes down, but the overall trend is upwards. So I could have bought it at a better time. Really the better time to buy gold was 10 years ago or 20 years ago. Like the best time to plant a tree was yesterday or 10 years ago. Best next time is today. So can anyone guess what the price of gold was in the year 2000? I'll give you a couple of minutes to have a guess at that. I'll tell you what, the first person that can get it within $10, I'll give you a silver coin. Why not? So the biggest truth about the price of gold is the cost of not buying it, number one. The second biggest truth about the cost of gold or the price of gold is It doesn't really matter what today's price is because the point of buying gold is long-term storage. The next thing is inflation is killing the value of your money, but gold is inflation-proof. So, um, gold has gone up since the year 2000 by nearly 600%. Money has gone down since 1975 by 86%. Just been doing the research, just trying— I may have missed it, got it out by a percent or two. So go back to 1975 and gold has gone up, I think, 1,900%, but cash has gone down 86%. So That's the story. That's it. Don't complicate it. Number 1, take your money out of the bank other than what you need for expenses. And number 2, lock it into an asset that goes up when cash goes down. Now, of course, I love property. I love the stock market. I love businesses. But the thing with those is there is uncertain times right now, and they're not necessarily the best storage of money. For investing, property, stocks, your own business. But for storage, for safety, for hedge against inflation, for hedge against possible wars, tariff wars, recessions, crashes, the best storage facility is gold. And this is why, for the first time ever actually, we're doing a gold and silver advanced investing series. Now there are some basics which you could probably figure out, but you probably don't know the best price to buy, where to buy, where to store, how to protect, how and if you can get it tax-free, and all these other elements that are really important when you buy gold to get it right. So instead of me charging you my normal course fee, so my online courses are about £700, and then my live in-person courses are, are £2,000 to £3,000. Here's what I've decided to do for the first time ever. We're putting an advanced gold and silver investing series inside my new Money.School Gold Level program. Now I've relaunched Rob.Team into Money.School, but I haven't relaunched the Gold Level yet, which is the more advanced level for the advanced content. You get to meet me 3 times a year. We do live events, all for less than a pound a day. So for what I spend on coffee in 3 days, That is your monthly subscription and it's the money.school gold level. Now you need to jump in pretty much right now because the price will be doubling within 48 hours. And the reason we're doing that is that we're relaunching rob.teamgold and moving it over to money.schoolgold. We built a brand new platform. I've invested 6 figures in the courses, in the mentors, in the platform. So I want you to get in before the price doubles and I want you to be able to get access to this course rather than paying £700 for it online, which I'll put it on robmoore.com in the future. Right now you can jump in for less than a pound a day and you can cancel any time. So if you decide after you've consumed the gold and silver investing series, the rest isn't for you, you can just cancel. It would have cost you 40, 50 quid max if just for that subscription. So a bargain. So here's the link: money.school/gold. That's money.school/gold. Go and join right now, then come back. Remember, there's no ongoing contract. You can cancel anytime. Costs less than a pound a day. Um, 3 days worth of what I spend on coffee gets you— this is essentially what it costs to and join money.schoolgold, and we're doing an advanced weekly live step-by-step gold and silver investing course with my gold and silver mentor and who I buy my gold and silver from. Gonna teach you how to buy gold in your pension, where to buy gold from, how to get it at the best price. Can't get gold at a big discount, but you can with the knowledge you're gonna learn from my mentor. You're gonna learn silver and how to invest in silver, and how to basically save the tax, where the tax events are and how to save the tax. So much to, like, for me, gold is about protection against the system, against currency devaluation, against the banks, against the governments coming for you. So it's the cornerstone of wealth. It's like the foundation of a building. So it should be the foundation of anyone's portfolio of money and assets and investing. So the link to join is money.school/gold. The warnings I'm giving here about the price of gold is it's at an all-time high. It keeps going to all-time highs. A lot of people are like, oh, I'm going to wait, it's not the right time, because they have a little bit of knowledge. The problem is the only time it's not right to buy gold is tomorrow because you can't. So you buy it today. And if in 1975 to today, gold's gone up 19, 1,900%. Money's gone down 86%. So if you've got money in money and it's not in gold, that's costing you a lot. You should— I don't think you should be saving money in money. I think you should be storing money in gold. Silver's actually dropped, and silver's back to its 1975 price. So I think silver, um, shows a great opportunity as well for, uh, maybe buying at a lower relative price point. I think it's probably undervalued. This is not investing advice, this is investing knowledge. And you're going to learn all of this on the gold and silver advanced investing series. Of course, the first session or two will be the fundamentals of buying gold and silver. Where, how, where to store, how to get the tax back if there is tax, the different vehicles to invest in. Then it'll get more advanced. Do you know you can buy gold in your pension? I've got my mentor actually trades gold. So you're going to learn all the advanced stuff as the series goes. It's recorded live. You join now and you'll actually get the live sessions where you can ask and get questions answered. And in about 48 hours— this is why I'm offering you this now— the price of money.school gold doubles. We've got an advanced AI course running right now inside money.school gold. A lot of people are not sure between how much gold or silver they should hold, so can cover that as well.
