The WORST Financial Advice Ever?

Bank savings accounts are a scam: you lose money to inflation while banks pocket the spread between what they pay you (1.5%) and what they charge borrowers. Instead of saving, buy assets you control like gold, silver, real estate, or crypto.

Could this be the worst financial advice? Probably the most common financial advice you get from your parents, from the banks and the system, is save the pennies and the pounds will take care of themselves. The thing is, with saving, you are being lied to because you think saving is putting your money in the bank. Is called the savings account. It's actually a scam. Here's why. Because when you give your money to the bank, your money is now their property. And if you look at the terms and conditions of your savings accounts and of your banking accounts, basically it says, to all intents and purposes, it says it's their money. They can hold it. They say it's insured, but I'd question that. Have these insurance policies actually ever been tested? And you don't really have any rights to it anymore once the bank have got it. And here's the greatest scam. Interest rates are, say, 5%. And when they lend you the money for your mortgage, it's 6%. Until recent times, it was 8%. And yet when you leave your money in the savings account in a big bank like Barclays, you get 1.5%. Now, inflation since 2020 has been more than 25%. And by the way, when inflation comes down, that doesn't mean the goods are getting cheaper. It just means they're getting more expensive slower. And this— these things you're not told. So you're not told that savings actually go down. You're not told that when inflation drops, it's still getting more expensive to live. It's just slowing how expensive it is to live. And you're not told that in the last 4 years, what you buy has cost 25% or 30% more. So possibly the worst financial advice ever is to save money and put money into savings, because it's actually degradings, not savings, because it's going down, not up. The banks make money on it and you don't, and you're essentially penalized and charged for it, and you're essentially taking all the risks and the banks are taking none of the risk. So I believe that saving money and saving the pennies and the pounds will take care of themselves— I believe this is possibly the worst financial advice ever. So you have been warned. I believe the point of saving is just the discipline of A, getting out of debt, or B, collating enough money to then invest. So I don't call it saving, I call it storing. And I don't store most of my money in a savings account because the banks are going to make a load on it. I'm going to have all the risk on me. I'm going to make virtually nothing. It's going to go down below inflation. And therefore I'm gonna lose money saving. So that's like me storing meat and it all degrading and then there'd be nothing left. That's like me storing gold but people taking it. That's like back in the old days when they used to mint coin and they used to melt copper into it. That's how inflation started. Inflation started as theft on money. Inflation carries on as theft on money. So you have been warned. Here's what you need to do. Instead of thinking about saving money, think about storing money. And instead of giving it to the banks to essentially make money on you and you take the risk, just delay gratification or stop going into debt. And then as soon as you get enough, start investing it, investing assets you can control. For example, you can buy silver coins. You can buy gold in— you can start with a quarter ounce gold coin. You could put a bit of money into crypto. You could start investing in real estate just by putting a deposit in and make, manage, and multiply your own money and control your own finances. And actually, I'm going to cover way more tips and tools and tricks of what the banking system and the governments and central banks teach you about money versus what really is working for you. Because let me ask you this, do you think the central banks and governments care about humanity? Do you think they want to make you rich? Do you think they want everyone to be rich? Or do they want everyone to give them their money and to be able to consume from them and for them to become a product? So I think the banks and central governments want 4 main things: tax, debt, interest, compliance. Tax, debt, interest, compliance. So what's good for humanity is how to make, manage, and multiply money and build multiple streams of recurring income for us all to be wealthy. Because if you're rich, it's good for me because you can buy stuff from me. If I'm rich, it's good for you because, um, vice versa. I actually think it's better for humanity if we're all rich because the central banks and governments want to take all the wealth. Anywhere around here is fine. And it's really important you educate yourself properly on money. And one of the biggest scams and lies and worst financial advice ever is that savings is good.
