Trump Crashes His Own Meme Coin đŽ

In this solo YouTube commentary, Rob Moore walks through the rapid rise and abrupt collapse of the Trumpâbranded meme coin. He explains that the coin amassed a $9.3 billion market cap within days, fueled by hype around Donald Trumpâs inauguration, but the subsequent speech and the launch of a related Melania Trump coin caused a sharp price drop. Moore uses the episode to illustrate how meme coins function: they rely on a brief surge of âdumb money,â lack intrinsic utility, and are prone to pumpâandâdump cycles where early owners cash out, diluting value for later investors. He contrasts this with Bitcoinâs deflationary storeâofâvalue properties and stresses that lasting wealth comes from creating real utility, not speculative hype. Moore discloses that he holds a tiny speculative position in the Trump coin to maintain credibility, but limits his exposure to what he likens to betting on a threeâlegged horse. He advises anyone considering launching a meme coin to embed genuine functional use, otherwise reputation and longâterm value suffer. The video concludes with a promotion for his free âMake Cash Challenge,â a communityâdriven program that offers daily tactics for building cash reserves, and invites viewers to join via robmoore.live/challenge.

Trump crashes his own meme coin. This is a bit naughty. I'm going to tell you what happened in a moment, but to give you the context, a few days ago Trump launched his own coin and it raced to $9.3 billion plus of market cap, i.e., the amount of money that was thrown into it in no time at all. Looked like it could break all liquidity records. And then his inauguration speech, and so many people think, well, that's going to push the price of the Trump coin up even further. And the opposite happened. And before I tell you what happened and why, it's a great example of what meme coins are. Meme coins are gambles. And I don't want to diss Donald Trump because this meme coin's only a few days old and maybe it'll prove to be a good store of value. But that's all a meme coin is. And most meme coins are not even a good store of value. You might as well just take your money and set it on fire. So Bitcoin is not a good currency because it's deflationary. It goes up, therefore people hold it. But that makes it a good store of value. So, it doesn't have properties of utility to be as a currency, but it does offer a better storage of value than, say, a savings account. But the meme coins, they don't last long enough. And all a meme coin is, is some initial excitement from mostly dumb money about the The chance to gamble and make a quick buck without doing any work. That's essentially what most of the money going into a meme coin is. Usually the only winner in the meme coin is the one that owns the meme coin, because a load of money gets pumped in, they usually take it all out, then it drops the value of the coin further, then even more people sell, and then you get the dump. So, kind of pisses me off actually because I'm an entrepreneur, have been for 20 years, and I like utility and value. And where's the utility and value? That being said, there's a lot of excitement, a lot of enthusiasm from America about Donald Trump, and maybe he's going to fix a lot of shit. And if he fixes a lot of shit and sorts the economy out and helps the UK, and you know, if a lot of the things he says are going to happen happen, then there's a high chance thatâ no, there's a small chance that his coin could go up in value. Now, he's got a 3-year liquidity plan to release a few billion more of this coin, apparently. Um, but how it got dumpedâ and I thought this was a piss take, let me know what you thinkâ but, um, the initial liquidity event pushed the price of the coin up, um, and then his inauguration speechâ and I guess a lot of people are thinking that'll push the price of his coin up even furtherâ And then Melania Trump launched one. Is Donald Trump Jr. going to launch one? Is their grandkid going to launch one? Is Donald Trump's dog going to launch one? Is everyone that's got the name Trump going to launch a meme coin? And of course, if Melania Trump around the inauguration is launching her own coin and money flows into that, that dilutes. And it did dilute because she had quite a big crash. Um, these coins are volatile. It dilutes the price of the existing Trump coin. I thought that was a bit disrespectful, bit of a piss take. Don't think it was a smart move, but hey, you know, they're probably richer than me. They are richer than me. Um, so let's see what happens. I'm going to watch it with fascination and interest. I'm going to comment on it. Uh, I'm going to tellâ I'm going to share what I think is right and wrong. But fundamentally, by the way, loads of people have been asking me about this. Fundamentally, if you create value, you're going to build long-term wealth. If you pump and dump and you get known for that, in the end you might make a quick buck, but in the end money's going to flow away from you. People aren't going to, um, send money towards you. So Michelle has said maybe you're upset that you didn't have a good entry into Trump Coin. No, not at all. So, um, I put a tiny amount just for interest. I did put some in, so I'm not just talking from theâ you know, I'm in the game. But, um, with meme coins, I only ever put What I'd be prepared to go and bet on a three-legged horse, that's what I put into meme coins. So, um, yeah, you know, I may have made a bit, but I'm just telling you what I observe. So look, if you want to make real money, you need to create real value. I implore anyone who's thinking about setting up a meme coin to think about utility. How can you make it have a practical, functional use and that use continue? My advice to all the people in crypto is think entrepreneurially instead of just to pump and dump for the quick cash and then you ruin your reputation. Think about what value, utility, what longevity you could create in these coins. And then actually, it's going to last a lot longer and it's not going to be the pump and dump. So, that's my advice. What are your thoughts on Trump's meme coin? Did you put money into Trump Coin? Did you get in right at the start and get the big pump? What do you think about Melania Trump also launching a coin, um, a meme? Do you agree with me they don't have much valid value or utility? I'd love your thoughts in the comments. I will comment on these things. If there's anything you want me to go live about, just let me know in the comments. Um, I hope it works out actually. I'm not a hater. I hope it works out. Um, it could end up becoming a store of value like Bitcoin. You could end up essentially investing in the equity of the president. I mean, that, if that doesn't tell you the sign of the times we're in and how, yeah, things are hard right now, but also how entrepreneurial America is. I mean, wow, you could own a little piece of the president in some ways. I mean, you don't, but you could. But the risk is if he pulls all of his money out, he's like, oh, I wantâ I wantâ I'm $500 million, or I want $3 billion. He can just do it, and it's just going to absolutely tank the value of the coin. And that's a big concern. Okay, so thanks for tuning in. I'll see you on the challenge. Won't cost you anything. You know, it's a proper thing we've been doing for many years. Um, I might have my own meme coin show. The reason I haven't launched my own coin is because I want to figure out the utility. I'm not just going to launch a meme coin and get a load of people pumping money into it. Um, when there's utility and value, then you're on to something. So, um, I won't do it unless I find that utility. Thanks for tuning in, and remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything.
