Trump to Fire 2 Million Government Workers

In this monologue, Rob Moore discusses a purported email from Donald Trump offering an eight‑month severance package to over two million U.S. government employees, framing it as a bold, decisive move to cut waste. He argues the UK should emulate this approach, criticizing Labour leader Keir Starmer, recent council‑tax rises, and perceived low work ethic in British civil service. Moore then shifts to his personal narrative, describing how he cleared £50,000 of debt, built a property portfolio of 345 rental units, and became a multimillionaire by his mid‑30s. Leveraging this success, he promotes the MoneyMaker Summit – a live event featuring six millionaires, business‑start‑up strategies, tax‑reduction and wealth‑building sessions, with 18 free tickets subsidised through his foundation. He urges viewers to improve their own “economy” first, citing poor financial education in schools and his recent talk at Eton College, positioning the summit as a solution to both personal and national economic growth.

Trump to fire 2 million government workers. Wow. The first thing is, I'm shocked how many government workers there are. 2 million. This bloated civil service government, working from home workers in both the US and the UK. Uh, look, the UK I think need to follow suit of America. Elon Musk had been hired, Department of Government Efficiency, come in and in no time at all this is getting dealt with. So get this, Donald Trump has sent an email letter to all government workers, um, he wants to eradicate work from home. So Elon Musk, when he came in and did his research, found that half of the government buildings Well, all government buildings were half empty, and I think half the government officials were working from home. What? Anyway, so he sent an email to more than 2 million government workers, and it says, um, I offer you a severance package to resign. His severance package is 8 months' pay. That's a bit of a joke. I mean, getting 8 months' severance pay for mostly working from home and mostly mismanaging your country, although maybe many of those have worked there for many years, so I won't judge that part. But he's offered 8 months' severance pay to all government workers. He's given them a deadline until February 6th. He's given them a week. And he said, reply with the word resign. And so he's offered all of his government workers, which is over 2 million of them, to resign. Basically firing them. Okay, making them redundant. Same but different. Wow. So, um, first off, I want to know what you think about that. These are bold moves and I know a lot of people who've been very critical of Donald Trump who are now respecting his speed and decisiveness of action. And I really feel like the UK needs to follow suit on the speed and decisiveness of action. So they believe, the US government, from their research, that 200,000 people will accept this severance package. So immediately they'll cut 10% of the government workforce, and they believe that it will probably save them about $100 billion. Job done. Simple, easy, bosh. What are your thoughts? What about if the UK started to follow suit? If half of American officials are working from home and the government buildings are half empty, How bad's it going to be in the UK? I think we've got a much lower work ethic here in the UK. I think we're more entitled here in the UK. How many hundreds of thousands of government workers are working from home and not working properly in the UK? What's Keir Starmer going to do about that? Oh, wait a minute, he's probably going to pay them all loads of money and tax us even more to do it. Did you see that council taxes are going up? Even though Keir Starmer said there will be no council tax rises. I repeat, no council tax rises. And now there are council tax rises. And there's supposed to be a 5% cap, um, just to stop them being put up, and it looks like he's going to break his own rule, which governments tend to do. So anyway, disruptive things are happening in America, and I believe that some of these bolder decisions and decisions to help grow the economy, the UK should follow suit. Now I was writing a post this morning on LinkedIn about the 8 things I would do to fire up the economy in the UK. They're getting hundreds of comments already on that post and people are saying, yeah, this is all common sense, this is definitely what we should be doing. Most people tend to agree. In fact, on GB News they're calling me the People's Chancellor. I wouldn't go that far, but it's very kind of them to say it. To say. So I'll give you this content and make sure you're following me, by the way, and I'll share that with you soon. But the next thing I want to say is I have been critical of the government and I have been doing a fair bit of content on what is wrong. I admit that because I think it's important to speak up. Otherwise, if none of us speak up, nothing changes. However, I do and am offering solutions regularly. So I'll share the content with you tomorrow on the 8 things I think we can do to fix the economy. By the way, when you know how to fix the economy, you can fix your economy. And when you know how to fix your economy, you can help fix an economy. So actually, right now for many of you, the most important thing is to fix your economy. I can put a lot of my time and energy into these suggestions for the economy because I fixed my economy. 18 years ago, I was 50 grand in debt. And I had something really bad happen to me in my life regarding my dad and it forced me to step up and stop being a victim. Fast forward a year, I got rid of my £50,000 debt and almost earned £100,000 working for a property company sourcing properties. I bought 20 properties with my business partner in that year evenings and weekends when I thought I didn't have time. Fast forward to now, we have 345 rental units. And we have the UK's largest property and business training company. I became a millionaire just before age 31, a deca-millionaire by age 35. I'm closer to 50 than I am 40 now. So I've gone through this process of sorting out my economy, and because I'm now financially free, I was, you know, more than a decade ago, I can put my time into trying to help the wider community or even the wider world. Maybe you need to sort out your economy first because the economy can only grow when all of us individually can grow our own economy and vice versa. So if you'd like to grow your economy, i.e., you'd like to make, manage, and multiply money, you'd like to build multiple income streams, you'd like to get your tax bill down because growing an economy means earning more than you spend, you know, having a surplus, not a deficit. So a lot of the things that we need to fix in the economy, I can help you fix in your economy. So if you'd like to know how to do this, I recommend you come and join us at the Moneymaker Summit. So the Moneymaker Summit is a special live event where we have 6 millionaires, 5 main business fast start strategies to help you go from zero to millionaire through the 6, then 7 figures and beyond. Start a business or a side hustle. And build multiple income streams. And because it's my company's 18th birthday this month, we're celebrating our 18th birthday. That's very rare, by the way. I'd say 0.01% of companies get that far. It's a worthy celebration. I'm actually going to give 18 of you a free place on that. I'm going to subsidise that through my foundation. The rest of you, you'll just need to upgrade. And actually, I'm doing VIP and Golden VIP tickets for standard ticket prices as well. So you can all win. So the link is robmoore.live/money. That's robmoore.live/money. So I'm putting my money where my mouth is, and I'm paying for the speakers, the venue, the AV, everything. You just have to get there. For the first 18 of you on this video who go to the page robmoore.live, put your details in, make sure you put your own phone number that you answer because you're only confirmed when my team have spoken to you. We've got dates coming up in February and March. I've got no dates planned after that. We've got 2 venues, London, Peterborough. We've got a billionaire keynote speaker at one of them. The only thing I ask for you is that you turn your phone on airplane mode, and because I give you strategies and tactics that save millions of pounds. So if you like the idea of all of this, the first, first 18 of you that go to robmoore.live/money, I'm going to subsidize your ticket. Now you might just want to upgrade anyway because for the standard ticket price you can get the VIP or Golden VIP ticket. That gets you a dinner with me and my other multimillionaire mentors on one of the evenings. It gets you a private small group money mindset session on morning 1, morning 2 with one of the millionaires, and morning 3 with me. You get bonus Q&A champagne reception sessions, panel sessions with the millionaires, and there's the 15-hour How to Raise Money Online masterclass. These are all bundled in for us for a very small upgrade. I recommend that's probably actually your best bet. Also, you get front row seating and various other benefits and bonuses. And also, if you're not in one of the first 18. So that's all at robmoore.live/money. Because the economy will grow if your economy grows. If we all became financially savvy, successful, and free, if we all made more than we spent, the entire economy would. Make more than it spends. But you have to start with you first, and that's not being selfish, and that's not being greedy, and that's not being money hungry. But if you've not got a lot of surplus left at the end of the month, if you've got too much month at the end of the money and not money at the end of the month, then it needs to start with you. And I'm appalled actually at how bad financial education is in schools. I was talking at Eton College the day before yesterday, giving them advice on business and startups and finance. And there's not enough good education out there on managing your finances, managing your emotions around money, learning how to invest, learning what inflation really means to you, learning how to grow your wealth, learning how to be disciplined around money. And I'm on a mission to change that, helping as many people on this planet get better financial education. and it starts at the Money Maker Summit. So I'll see you there. Now let me know, what do you think about Trump going in and sending an email to 2 million, 2 million government workers saying, um, here is a redundancy package, 8 months pay, I want you to leave, reply with resign. Wow. And remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything.
