So Donald Trump's social media app Truth— Truth is now live. I actually think this is really big news. So there's a lot of disruption in social media going on right now. There's big tech and a big push against big tech. A lot of people don't like the censoring, the data leaking, uh, and the fact-checking Um, so Donald Trump is back. So let me know what you think in the comments about Donald Trump being back. Now, he was banned from YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter for what they say is inciting riots in, um, you know, the Capitol affair, if you like. And I don't know, I personally think, who are we to deplatform and censor people. And I believe we should all fight for our freedom of speech. I strongly believe this. This is why I've been big support of Joe Rogan, whose episodes on Spotify seem to have vanished. Hmm. So, um, I for one, I'd love to know your thoughts. Are you— what do you think about Donald Trump back in the game on social media, setting up his own app called Truth? Um, because it's now live. Of course, it's always live in America before it's live in the UK, but apparently you can now download it on the App Store. I did try this morning, I was on the waiting list, um, I couldn't do it yet. Maybe it's because it's in America first before the UK. Um, but they say of Truth that it's going to be family-friendly, no illegal activity. And of course, the value proposition is truth. Is there some irony there? Let me know what you think. Here's one thing I do think: I am going to try it because I think we need a social media platform which doesn't censor you, which doesn't de-platform you and shadow ban you when it doesn't agree with you. And I actually think, um, big tech social media is ripe for disruption because it's monopolistic and controlling. Now, that's not to say I don't get benefits from them. I don't hate big tech and I don't hate social media, but I just got fact-checked recently. I don't know if you saw one of my videos. I got fact-checked by Facebook, um, my content misleading. Oh, so Facebook are now the information gods? Well, um, here's the thing. I wrote a title which said, um, that I, I believe the government have wasted $20 billion, um, and they said it was misleading. Or pounds. Actually, it was, because it's way more. It's way more. Way more. Um, but, but of course, the Facebook gods have spoken. So, um, they say of the Truth Social Media Act app backed by Trump, that it's going to be family-friendly, that it's going to have no illegal activity. And of course, the name assumes that it's going to allow truth as opposed to censorship and deplatforming, etc. So let's see how it goes. One does feel somewhat skeptical that Monsieur Trump may have his own motives. It's his platform, so One can do what one wants in one's own bedroom. But here's the thing, I'm going to finish on this. I think it's important that you share this content. One, because I think we should get the message out there that a new social media app is coming that is looking to disrupt the current big tech social media apps, because I think it's freaking needed. Now, Trump's app may succeed in that regard, or it may not, but may it open the floodgates where we can own our data, where we can have our voice and our opinion and not be deplatformed and censored and shadow banned, and where social media can start to become more decentralized. Because if you think about it, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, you know, there's a few massive social media companies. And TikTok's been good because it was the disruptor to Facebook. But now TikTok has a billion users, and it can now become the same controlling media outlet that some of the other platforms are and were. So, quick summary, hit the share button. Trump has launched Truth. It's live on App Store. It claims by name to be disruptive in nature of truth. Here's the funny thing. Like, the most disruptive business model right now is telling the truth. How crazy is that? How crazy is it that a new innovation in business and entrepreneurship and media and content is to tell the truth? Let's see if this app delivers in its name. But I'm quite looking forward to seeing Donald Trump back in the game and shaking it up. I personally I'm not sure it was right to deplatform him from Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook. I have a fundamental issue with that in terms of even if I don't agree with someone, their freedom to speak their opinion and voice. Now, I know some would say he incited violence. Hmm, maybe, maybe not. I don't know. Let me know what you think in the comments. Disruption is coming in social media. Disruption has been needed in social media for a long time. Let's jump on board. Stand up for your freedom of speech. Fight for Joe Rogan. Where has his episodes gone? And remember this: if you don't risk anything, you risk everything.
