Turn What You Already Know into Cashflow (7 Ways)

In this 2021 presentation, Rob Moore argues that the rapid shift to the information age and Web 3.0 creates a Darwinian environment where only the adaptable thrive. He outlines seven concrete strategies for converting existing knowledge into cash flow. First, he stresses turning personal experience into unique intellectual property (IP) and monetising it through courses, masterminds, sponsorships and retreats, citing his own £150 million earnings. Second, he encourages aligning passion with profession, arguing that enjoyment fuels energy transfer and sales. Third, he emphasizes leveraging the internet and social media for massive distribution, noting examples like MrBeast, Jake Paul and Joe Rogan. Fourth, he advises repackaging the same knowledge across multiple formats—podcasts, YouTube, social‑media monetisation tools, subscriptions, online courses, masterminds, mentoring and retreats—to create an ascension funnel. Fifth, he highlights subscription platforms (Patreon, Facebook Supporters, Kajabi) as low‑cost, recurring‑revenue digital assets. Sixth, he recommends listening to audience problems and turning them into solutions, products or services. Seventh, he frames all of the above as building digital asset classes (followers, domains, NFTs, crypto, search traffic) that generate recurring income. Throughout, he promotes his Recurring Income Summit, featuring the founder of Netflix, as a practical venue to learn and implement these tactics.

How to turn what you already know into cash flow. We are in the information age. We are moving into Web 3.0, the online metaverse, the internet 3D universe. The world is changing so fast, and really what we're experiencing then is this survival of the fittest, these Darwinian times. It's not the strongest that survive, but those that are most adaptable to change. And, you know, you have these 7, 8, 9, and 10-year-old kids making millions on YouTubers. You have these TikTokers and podcasters and creators and NFTers and CryptoPunks who are making millions. MrBeast, who does fun challenge-y, just, you know, entertaining videos on YouTube, makes $48 million a year. So information, entertainment, inspiration, education— there's so many ways to turn what you already know into cash flow. And information moves so fast, it moves at the speed of light right now, which is a few hundred thousand kilometers a second. In fact, quantum entanglement, if you want to have a bit of fun, has been recently discovered with simultaneous, um, information exchange. So basically what that means is information moves so fast— it used to move at the speed of a pigeon and the speed of the speed of a horse and the speed of a train and the speed of a plane, and now it moves at the speed of light. So are you turning what you already know into cash flow, or are you getting left behind? Because old-school products and services and retail and old-school distribution and supply chain and warehousing and needing staff and overhead and stock and offices and businesses, you know, business parks, it's a thing of the past. It's a dying business model. So I wanted to get straight in there and share with you 7 ways I believe you can turn what you already know into cash flow. Number 1 is you have to turn your information into income. We are in the information age. You create your own intellectual property or IP. You take information that you've learned and you've distilled and you've filtered and you create your own intellectual property, your own information system. Now, I'm not the first person on the planet to teach business and entrepreneurship. I'm not the first person or even the millionth person to help people start and scale their business. I'm not even the 10 millionth person to teach people about making money and understanding a better financial education. But I have my own life experiences and filters and way and style which creates uniqueness if I follow and honor my own uniqueness. And express it in my own unique way, but also create my own formulas and processes and systems for, um, sharing the education. Now for me, I like to educate, inspire, a bit of entertainment maybe, definitely some accountability, definitely a bit of in-your-face nature at the way I turn information into income. Now I've made more than £150 million turning information into income. Through courses, masterminds, sponsorships, and brand endorsements, advertising, retreats online and face-to-face. I used to do 850 training days a year face-to-face before lockdown. We now run, for example, the Recurring Income Summit, which is a global summit. I've just backed the founder of Netflix, the founder of Netflix, to speak at the Recurring Income Summit. So if that sounds good, stay with me. So you have to believe that you have some uniqueness, which you do, because you feel life is experienced individually. So no two people have experienced the same things in life. So no matter how many people there are in your niche, there's your own unique way. But you need to turn that into something tangible. So whether that's books or audiobooks, or you create an online course, or you create a model or a system— I created the Pentagon Model for public speaking. So the, the what, the how, the why, the what if, and the when. And that's a unique model. Uh, I've, I created the, um, the wealth formula, uh, wealth equals value plus fair exchange times leverage. That is a unique formula. No one has created that before. And if you hear anyone share that, it's been copied. So, um, I trademarked the disruptive entrepreneur. So there's ways that you can take things that you've learned from other people, you're and add your own life experience, and bang, you have IP. You have intellectual property, and you have something that's monetizable into multiple assets and formats and platforms. And I'm going to share those now. Number 2 then is turning your passion into your profession. So do you love what you do and do what you love? Do you share your message with the masses and turn it into millions? Because I believe the best way to make a living is to actually enjoy life and to share with others how to get a better life by living your life and not separating work and play and vocation and vacation. I believe they can be simultaneously lived. Why, why do you need balance? Why do you need to separate work and life? There's not much life, so don't spend one-third of it sleeping and one-third of it working. Hopefully you can have one-third of it enjoying. No, no, no, live it all together. So my passion is entrepreneurship and business. It's my greatest passion, through the forms of social media and authoring and podcasting and Clubhousing and live streaming and collaborating and joint venturing and earning and learning. So, um, you, you too can turn your passion into your profession. You just have to believe in yourself. You have to honor the fact that that can be done, and you have to um, find a way to reach as many people as you can sharing your passion. Now, there are people who make loads of money teaching people how to fish. There are people who make loads of money, um, there's a podcast called, um, The Unusual History of Gnomes, and they're a successful podcast that monetize teaching people out about the unusual history of garden gnomes. So if they can monetize their passion, so can you. Being passionate about your passion will definitely, um, transfer energy to others because, you know, making money is a transfer of energy. So when you're passionate about your passion and you share your passion passionately with others who are passionate about that passion too, that's an amazing business model. Okay, number 3 then is you have to leverage the internet and social media. So if you're not gaining customers and clients and followers and fans online, then you're not making any money. Fact. So, um, are you reaching the masses globally? Are you, um, turning your ideas into income? Are you on Facebook Lives, the new Wisdom app, Clubhouse? Are you creating podcasts? Are you, uh, creating YouTube content, TikTok content, Instagram content, LinkedIn content, video, audio, written, live? Do you rank on Google? Because there's so many routes to market now. Now what a lot of people do is go, oh well, you know, I'm so overwhelmed, there's so many social media channels, oh, I just don't even know where to start. I say start now, get perfect later. I have a book called Start Now, Get Perfect Later. So for example, I'm simultaneously live here on Clubhouse and my Facebook Live and Wisdom, and I've don't really know that much how to use Wisdom. I just thought, well, I'll give it a go and see how it goes and try it. So anytime a new social media platform comes out, I try it, I experiment. I've started doing my first few TikTok Lives. You know, when you start, they're not perfect. I've definitely had small numbers in some channels compared to what I would normally expect, or I haven't really used the features very well, don't really know what I'm doing. But, you know, you get better as you do it. You get better on the go, not before you go. And then what you do is you build up a bit of a following through consistency. So, um, I'm gaining about 35,000 followers a week now, but that isn't because I just started on social media. That's the compounded consistency over many years, many years of creating content. So, uh, start now, get perfect later. Try and get yourself on as many social media channels as you can. I think a great way to do that is through content repurposing. So right now I'm live on Clubhouse and Wisdom and Facebook Live, and I can— I actually haven't recorded this podcast because I've done this episode before for the podcast, but I could also create it on my podcast here. And so therefore I'm gaining that reach into revenue and that impact into income because it's really about distribution. If you want to turn what you already know into cash flow, you You need distribution. Uh, you know, why does Jake Paul, um, get to fight all these professional boxers? Why does he get 10 times the pay-per-view as the pound-for-pound best boxer in the world? Because he has distribution. Why does MrBeast make $48 million a year on YouTube? Because he has the distribution, the followers. Why did Joe Rogan sell his podcast for $100 million? Because he has distribution, and Spotify basically bought distribution via him. So you get sponsors, ads, collaborations, interviews, joint ventures, big deals, big brand deals when you have distribution. And that's leveraging the internet and social media, simple as that. Okay, number 4 then is, uh, in turning what you already know into cash flow is you've got to package up that, um, what you already know. So you've got to put it into something where you can create income from it, where you can create fair exchange. So there's loads of ways to package information. I'm going to blast a few of them out for you right now. You can turn your information into a podcast and then you can get sponsorships and advertising from that. You realistically can get about £100 to £150 a thousand downloads. 10,000 downloads, £1,500. 100,000 downloads, £15,000. You can do the maths on that. The next way is to turn your information into a YouTube channel. I am earning about £1,500 a day right now from one David Icke video I've just published. That's not bad, is it? £1,500 a day for someone ranting about who rules the world. The next thing you can do is you can share your content on social media channels that have monetization tools. So for example, Facebook have supporters and stars and live events. Instagram have badges. Clubhouse have donations. Wisdom have mentor badges. Patreon, which is a subscription platform, you know, you can earn your monthly on that. YouTube have premium. Luminary have premium. So when you're on, um, social media channels that are free but they have monetization tools, you can then turn your information into income. And these are the sort of low-cost or high-volume-based revenue models. But then what you can do is you can level them up into a subscription platform. So I have Rob Moore Supporters and I have Patreon, and they pay $5 a month, and I have 3,200 members. Then you can move up into an online course, and people can pay £500 or $1,000 for your online course material. And then you can move them up into a mastermind where you could have 20 people paying $5,000. And then you move them up into mentoring where people pay £15,000, £20,000, £25,000 or dollars. So basically what you do is you package information into multiple formats. All social media channels, podcasting, YouTube, Facebook Lives, Instagram, Clubhouse, etc. And then into subscription, which is the next level, and then into courses and then into masterminds and then into mentoring and then into retreats. Um, so there's multiple ways there to package the same type of information. So, you know, I teach people how to start and scale their business and get better financial knowledge, and that is, you know, I turn that essential information and niche into podcasts, YouTubes, Instagram Stories, Reels, Wisdom, Clubhouse, LinkedIn, TikTok. Did I say podcast? I probably did. I'm on, um, supporters, Patreon, all the live channels, but it's essentially the same information, so you're repackaging it up. Okay, number 5 of 7 ways to turn what you already know into cash flow is subscription, which I mentioned there. So, um, I have the Rob.team platform, uh, also hosted on Facebook called the Rob Moore Supporter Program, and I have 3,200 members now, and they pay $5 a month and they get premium and behind-the-scenes access and exclusive content, again in the same niche of start and scale your business and get better financial knowledge. So you could set up a subscription platform on Facebook Supporters if you use Facebook a lot, or you could set up one on Patreon, which is an independent platform, or Kajabi, which is an independent platform. So if you wanted to deliver online courses in modules and drip feed the content out and have multiple online education platforms, you'd use Kajabi for that. Okay, number 6 then is anything that people in your niche have a problem in, you turn into a solution. So if you loiter in social media groups and you listen to people's problems and you turn those problems into solutions, then you are going to make money out of what you already know. And in fact, you might not already know it, but people tell you it and then you create the solution to it. So I'm always asking my community, you know, what are your big challenges in business right now? Um, how can I help you scale your business? What are your blockages and bottlenecks, whether it's mindset, skill set, strategies, or tactics? And then I help solve those problems and turn it into information systems, software, resources, mentoring, masterminding. And that is the continual way to ever evolve and grow your business and your income streams. So, quick summary then: how to turn what you already know into cash flow, 7 ways. Number 1 is turn your information into income and create your own IP around your niche, your own unique take on, um, content that you've probably learned from mentors or read in books or listened to on podcasts, and your own personal experience of you know, being passionate about that niche and that business model. Number 2 is you turn your passion into your profession. Number 3 is you leverage social media and the internet for reach and distribution and leverage. Number 4 is you package up your, um, niche and your content into multiple forms, all free social media channels, and then into courses and masterminds and mentoring and retreats and subscription platforms. Number 6 is— number 5 is that you set up these subscription platforms so that you can get that ongoing residual income, and you can add new material weekly and monthly and gain new subscribers from it. I gained nearly 500 new subscribers to my Rob.team platform by promoting a, um, Make Cash Challenge. And then the thing I think you can do that is probably going to serve you the best is that you can learn how to create digital assets. So it's digital assets that create recurring income in the quickest time. So subscription platform is a digital asset. The amount of searches you have on the internet is a digital asset. The amount of followers you have is a digital asset. Every social media channel you have is a digital asset, especially the social media channels where you can turn on the monetization tools. Your, your URLs and domain names are digital assets. NFTs are digital assets. Cryptocurrencies are digital assets. So if you'd love to build these multiple digital assets fast and low cost, I've got a special event for you which I think you'll love, and it's called the Recurring Income Summit. So if you'd like to grab a place on this Recurring Income Summit and create digital assets fast with low or no money down across those multiple assets that I've just shared and more, you need to go to the link robmoore.events. So, RobMoore.events, plural, events. Go there right now. Don't wait because this event is coming up quite soon. And I've just agreed— this is like one of the biggest pull-offs in my career— but I've just agreed that the founder of Netflix itself is going to be joining us at one of my upcoming recurring income summits. Now I have 2 dates in the next couple of months, and he's speaking at one of them. And if that happens to be the one you're on, great. And if it happens to be the one you missed, don't worry, I'm going to record the entire talk and share it with you. So no matter what, you will get the keynote speech from the founder of Netflix. Get this, right? 193 million users. At $10 a month, that's more than $2 billion— that's $2 billion a month in recurring income. So the link is robmoore.events, plural. Let me say that again really slowly: r-o-b-m-o-o-r-e dot e-v-e-n-t-s. Go there right now. You need to do it right now, um, because the— what— the next event is coming up quite soon. I'm going to, um, finish this talk in a moment, and I've got quite a limited amount of places on this. I, I have spoken on virtual summits where there have been like 50,000 people registered for the event, big global summits. I was speaking, um, after Robin Sharma and before Deepak Chopra on one recently, and they're great, but they have to turn all the comments off and there's no engagement because there's too many people on it. I do the opposite at my live streams. I limit it for between 250 and 400 people We keep the chat and the comments on, and you can engage with us and ask your questions, which I think is quite unique, you know, when you think of big summits. So it'll be very personal. I'll teach you the 4 main asset classes that there are digitally that you can start with low and no money, and you can start quickly. So for example, you could start your own subscription platform the day I teach you. With no money, literally no money. Like Patreon, you don't even need to have any money to start it. You literally just set up on it and then they just take, uh, 12% of your ongoing, uh, revenue. So you don't need any money. You could start it up on the evening that I teach you it. So look, I'm a previous real estate investor. Well, when I say previous, I'm actually developing 99 units right now with 159 tenants. But you don't really hear me talking about real estate because that took me 4 years and millions of pounds and my business partner and a £9 million, £12 million development loan. But what we're going to teach you at the Recurring Income Summit is all digital. So, um, it's assets on your name, information, courses, masterminds, subscription platforms, cryptos, etc. So if you go to the link Rob more.events right now, you can get a subsidised ticket by me. I won't charge you. I'll even upgrade you to premium. I'll even donate the amount your ticket would normally be to my Rob Moore Foundation to help young and underprivileged people start meaningful businesses that change the world. That's how much I want you to succeed. Now, the reason I'm doing that is because there's many of you that follow me on all these channels, but you've not yet got to experience any of my events. And I have the biggest property event company in the UK. We did 850 training days a year before the lockdown, so I know how to run events. I've got a speaker worth £700 million who is, um, Undercover Boss star in the UK. He'll be speaking at the Recurring Income Summit. We'll teach you the, hmm, 18 or 19 different, um, asset classes that are digital that, um, you can set up within 24 to 48 hours, um, and with low and no money input. This is how, you know, these kids make YouTube sensations and podcasters earn millions, because they're leveraging information, they're leveraging the internet and social media, and you can get virality. Like, I've got one YouTube video now, it's getting 100,000 views a day. I've got one TikTok video just got shared by James Corden, 3.5 million views in a few days. Anyone can go viral now. You know, I'm new on TikTok and I'm not the biggest YouTuber in the world, but I've just got 2 videos simultaneously going viral. Anyone can now go viral. And when you go viral, you want to make sure that you're monetizing all those views. So if you'd like to jump on to the Recurring Income Summit to build all your digital assets, to monetize all your digital assets, to learn how to go viral and get your content out to the masses and turn your passion into your profession and your ideas into income, Go right now to robmoore.events. E-V-E-N-T-S. Go there and I'll see you on the other side. Um, you can register on the page, then my team will confirm you. There's a couple of date choices. You'll want to grab the next date if you can. It's all virtually streamed online, um, and the lineup is amazing, including the founder of Netflix. So if you're watching on the Facebook Live, please do share this. I think anyone can turn what they already know into cash flow. They just need to know how to create their own IP, honor their own experience and information, turn their passion into their profession, leverage social media and the internet, know how to package their information into 15, 20 different media forms, and have an ascension plan to go from free to subscription to sponsorship and advertising to courses to masterminds to mentoring to retreats going from a few pounds a month to 25 or 50 grand a year. Plus, they need to leverage subscription platforms and continually take prob— people's problems in their niche and turn them into solutions. So go to robmoore.events right now.
