So tougher sanctions are imminent for Putin and Russia, and the US and the EU are set to toughen sanctions further amidst reports and video evidence of war crimes and atrocities in Ukraine. So, um, about half of Putin's war chest, literally hundreds of billions, has been cut off by US, by EU, with the various sanctions. Apparently Abramovich can't even access a million to pay his staff. So certainly financially, um, Russia and Putin are, are definitely up against it. Now, I reported in the early stages of this war on how I believe we should make— be making peace, not war. And how I believe that financial sanctions are better than sending in the tanks, the guns, and the planes. Um, unfortunately, this is not stopping anytime soon, so it looks. And I didn't want to talk about it every day because it seems somewhat, um, negative, but at the same time, we can't hide away from what's happening in the world. And what's going on in Russia is horrific. So I'm just going to tell you what's just been announced. I'd love your thoughts on what's going on and how you see this ending. So the US and the EU are set to impose more sanctions on Putin and Russia amid allegations of war crimes. Now, um, this seems to be happening in a lot of places, but you know, there's reports of people being shot in the street, put in shallow graves, driven over by tanks. It's absolutely horrific. And whilst my job really is to help entrepreneurs start and scale their business, that's why most people follow me, when there's things like this going on in the world, I really believe that we must stand up and speak out. And I believe that this is far more important than, you know, many of the day-to-day things that we are wrestling with. Washington is reportedly considering measures targeting Putin's two daughters and Russia's largest bank. So from a financial sanction point of view, they're literally trying to cut everything off. They've gone for the oligarchs, they're going for the major banks. Now they're even looking to go to Putin's daughters. The US has also announced it will step up military aid by sending $100 million in Javelin anti-tank missile systems to Ukraine. Now, Biden said a couple of weeks ago The intervention, military intervention by the US or NATO is World War III. I was actually pleased that he tweeted that. The reason is, is because that is accountability publicly to doing anything you can to avoid war. But they are financing and sending in aid and support and weapons. So this is escalating. A lot of people said, oh, Putin won't invade Ukraine. He did. No one predicted COVID and it happened. So, you know, some people are saying, oh, Rob, I need some good news. I need some good news as well, but this is real news, real shit that's going on. Stephen has said the sanctions are not working. I don't know that they're not working. I think if Putin doesn't have the same war chest to fight this war— wars are very expensive— I'm not sure that it's not working. I can't say that it is either, but let me know what you think. EU ambassadors are meeting to consider new sanctions, including a potential ban on imports of Russian coal. Now, unfortunately, this is affecting the world. Now, of course, our sons and daughters, fathers and mothers are not being shot and murdered and are not in a war, and we must be grateful for that, which is why we must stand up and speak out and support. But prices of oil and gas and electricity are going through the roof, and You know, this war and the sanctions are part of that. The cost of living is going through the roof. Taxation is going through the roof. Wars cost billions. So it does affect us all. This all comes after Ukraine's president listed alleged Russian atrocities in a speech to the UN Security Council. He showed a gruesome video claiming civilians have been shot in the streets, thrown into wells, and crushed by tanks. Russia have denied any war crimes, um, but it looks like there's quite a lot of compelling evidence for war crimes. So the US and the EU are set to impose more sanctions on Russia. They're sanctioning the oligarchs, they're sanctioning the banks, they're going for Putin's daughters now. Half of, um, Putin's war chest has been frozen, and, um, you know, his finances are restricted. One thing I would like to ask you, please let me know what you think. How does this end? How does this war end? And yeah, National Insurance is going up, VAT and income tax and corp tax are as high as they were, inflation is going up, cost of living is going up. We had Brexit, then we had COVID, then we have this war, and this is really pinching everybody. Now, I don't want to underplay the fact that there are, you know, our children and our parents of our brothers and sisters in Ukraine who are getting murdered, and that is far more serious. Um, I don't know what's really going on. Let me know what you think. But I do know this: let's make peace, not war. Let's stand against war. Let's speak up and let's stand up and let's fight and do everything we can to support Ukraine and people who are innocent, who and, um, you know, the victims of war crimes. And let's push back against world leaders and dictators and globalization and the New World Order and all these things that could be at play underneath. Now, I can't— I wouldn't be good with a gun. I'm not military trained. I can't fly out to Ukraine and go and fight. But I can do lives like this. I can ask you to share. Please share this video. If we get enough noise out there on social media, we can make a little bit of a difference together. If we can support some families and if we can get millions of views— let's be honest, we could get 100,000 signatures between us, it would probably do nothing. But if we've got millions of views between us, that could actually do something. Who knows? Who knows who's watching this? Now look, Putin isn't sitting there watching Rob Moore's live going, you Yes, Rob Moore, I will retreat. Um, but I think we can all do our bit. Um, and you know, maybe we all need to interrupt our social media, interrupt our trade, uh, and put out content on this and see if we can make a little bit of a difference. So please do hit the share button now. Let me know what you think, what's really going on in the world and in this war, because a lot of you have got very differing opinions. I'm always open to discussion and debate. So the US and the EU are set to impose more sanctions on Russia amid allegations of war crimes. They're looking, for example, to ban imports of Russian coal. They're looking to go for Russia's largest bank, Putin's daughters. Already half his war chest has been sanctioned or frozen, and it seems to be pretty— most people seem to think that there are now war crimes going on. So let me know what you think. Hit the share button. Let's stand for peace, not war. Let's stand up for freedom of speech and freedom for property and freedom of your land. And let me know how you think this ends, because this has to end. Because Biden said in his tweet, he said any NATO military intervention is World War III. I'm not a doom monger, but this is the closest we've been to World War III. And of course that would be awful for all of us. I'm an entrepreneur. I help people start and scale their business, get better financial education and knowledge. My podcast is called Disruptors. I've now gone from interviewing just entrepreneurs to world leaders. So it's called Disruptors if you want to, you know, search out my podcast Disruptors. And I've got some big world leader names coming up soon as guests, but I'm interrupting a lot of this content because let's be honest, Um, if this war escalates, there are far more important things in the world than even business, even entrepreneurship, because without our freedom, then we have nothing. Thanks for tuning in. Hit the share button. Let me know what you think's going on. Let me know your thoughts, and I'll see you in the next video. And remember this: if you don't risk anything, you risk everything.
