Warning: About Your Cash ⛔️

Rob Moore warns that cash and savings accounts are losing value to double-digit UK inflation, with people withdrawing 801 million pounds from post offices in July. He argues savings accounts offering 1.5% interest are a scam when inflation runs 10-20% yearly, and recommends gold, stocks, ISAs, Bitcoin, real estate, and businesses to protect wealth instead.

Warning about your cash. This is a fast, hard, and stark warning about your cash. You need to know everything that's going on right now. There is a mainstream media article that's just come out— don't snigger— saying that people are now going back to cash to keep a tighter control and budget on their money. 801 million in personal cash was withdrawn in July just from the post office in the UK. Chair of the Cash Action Group said this: It shows that people are literally counting the pennies. It's absolutely because of the cost of living crisis. People are taking out cash and physically putting it into pots and jars and saying, this is for bills, this is for food, and this is what I've got left. This is real. But I have to warn you about cash. Are you ready? People are taking their cash out in droves, but they don't realize that cash is trash. They don't realize that cash is being wiped out by inflation. Double-digit Now, whilst I believe that savings accounts are a scam— whilst I believe— I sound like Popeye— whilst I believe that savings accounts are a scam, did you see my last video? If not, follow me and check it out. Cash is probably worse, or could be worse. Why is cash trash? Why is cash worse? Why is it dangerous that everyone's taking this cash out? Because inflation, if they say it's 9.3%, is probably more like 15. They say it's going up in October to 13.3%, which will probably be more like 20. They say next year in 2023 it could be 15%, which in reality could be more than 20%. So if you have cash, inflation is wiping it out at between 10 and 20% a year right now. Anthony, I'm sorry, you're wrong. You used to be right. Anthony has said here cash is and will always be king. No, I'm sorry, the world has changed. Britain used to be the biggest empire in the world and now it's not. Cash used to be king and now it's trash because it's going down minimum 10%, maybe 20% a year. Now whilst I don't think the savings accounts are a great way to hold your money As long as you have under £85,000, which is insured by most banks, it's actually probably better in a savings account than in actual cash. Why? Because at least you're getting a percent, a percent and a half in interest, not the full 1.75%. That's one of the savings account scams. So I really worry in all this news that people are literally taking out cash and relying on cash I worry they don't understand the true devaluation of cash and the fact that cash is trash. So you've got massive soaring inflation, double-digit. You've got the soaring cost of living crisis. You've got the fact that the banks probably won't guarantee all of your cash, or there might be a run on the banks in the future. There's just been one in Japan, by the way. All this shit is real. So what can you do about it? No, you shouldn't take it out and hold it in cash. A lot of people have been saying this. You need to protect your cash by putting it into inflation-beating assets. There are two types that are relevant to you. Type number one is the low-risk, high-liquidity inflation-beating asset— essentially the replacement of your savings account, a better alternative to a savings account. That might be gold, That might be a well-spread and managed stock market portfolio. That might be a little bit of Bitcoin, though be careful and always get investment advice and never invest money you can't afford to lose. Definitely an ISA. And then you've got the inflation-beating, higher risk, higher reward, income-producing assets: real estate, starting a business, your personal brand, digital assets. These are the two types of assets: low-risk, high-liquidity inflation-beating assets, and then higher-risk, lower-liquidity, higher-income inflation-based assets. These are much better stores of your cash than cash. Gold is a better store of your cash than cash right now. It's not as liquid as cash, but it's pretty liquid. So, um, Chris has said, hang on, last week you said take it out of the bank. I'm saying the same thing, mate. I'm saying be wary of taking— now, and by the way, I didn't say take it all out of the bank. Please listen carefully. I said keep your living costs and some emergency fund only in the bank. And then when I said withdraw it, I didn't say take it out as cash and put it under your mattress. That is even worse than keeping it in a savings account. In many ways. Inflation-beating assets, low risk, high liquidity, higher risk, high income. These are what you need to do to protect your cash. I am very worried for people. I did a video just yesterday, you can see it on my page, on the scam of the banks, the scam of the savings account. So it is difficult right now, that's why I'm doing all of this content. Number 1, if you have it in the banks, it's getting wiped out by inflation. It's not guaranteed by the banks. There might be a run on the banks in the future. There was a run on the banks in Japan. They don't guarantee your money. You don't even own your money you have in the bank. So then most normal people go, uh, okay, I'll take it in cash. But cash gets hit even worse by inflation because you don't get the interest on it. At least you get a little bit of interest in a savings account. So if you'd like to learn how to protect your cash, invest in asset— two types of asset, both inflation-beating. One is an asset that is high liquidity, low risk, that acts as a savings account. And another one is a lower liquidity, higher risk, higher income-generating asset that beats inflation by even more, to create multiple streams of recurring income and a savings account that actually saves your money. The new form of savings account is not cash and it's not a savings account.
