Warning: Labour Already Starting to Ruin the UK

Rob Moore argues Labour's proposed "right to switch off" legislation, which blocks employer contact after 5:01 pm, is socialist and will worsen the UK's worst economic crisis since World War II. He links work ethic to national prosperity and frames entrepreneurship as the cure for decline.

Warning, Labour may already be ruining the UK. I didn't think the UK could get any worse. This is a shocker. Trigger warning, I am going to rant. This is going to piss some people off, but it's fine because everyone is entitled to my opinion. So Labour have this crazy notion of something called the right to switch off. And part of getting the votes, you know, from all the people who hate the rich and hate landlords, which is most of the population because it's propaganda to them by mainstream media, they had this thing, this really great brainwave, that they were going to ban employers from contacting their staff out of office hours. So it gets to 5:01 PM and no employer is allowed to contact their staff. 5:00— oh shit, nearly went into the river. 5:01 PM Friday. Oh, even though you pay me, even though you pay my mortgage and my bills, you can't contact me till Monday 9 o'clock. But I can come into the office at half 9, I can take my kids to school, I can have a 1.5-hour lunch, I can sit at the water cooler and talk to everyone. I can go on social media for 3 hours in my 8-hour day. But at 5:01, when I clock off, for my mental health, you can't contact me until Monday morning. I mean, what sort of utter socialist, communist, victim-entitled nonsense is that? What the fuck? What if there's an emergency? What if there's an opportunity to do good work? And solve a problem, earn some commission. Oh, but no, no, no. What we have to do is we have to find all the lazy people in the UK, which is probably about 70 out of 75 million, and we have to make them even more lazy and even more entitled and encourage them to work even less. Do you know this? Do you know that this country is in the worst financial state, relatively, since the Second World War? So for what, 40 years? 80 years, cost of living relativity is the worst. So imagine Churchill after the Second World War. Oh, take a few years off now. You've fought in the war, you must be tired. Go and take a few years off. Go and look after your mental post-war health. No! Churchill would be like, right, let's build this country again. Let's make it great. Let's build an empire. We built an empire off the back of winning wars. And now Labour have won and they're going to let everybody who does any kind of work block and ban their employer from contacting them at 5:01 PM for their mental health and their work-life balance. Labour, they're even talking about having automated software software so that if the employer does email at 5:01 with an emergency that could make the money that could solve the world's meaningful problems, software will kick in and stop that landing on their desk until half past 9 when they turn up half an hour late. Do Labour not understand that this country is in its worst state since the Second World War? Laziness, apathy, entitlement, socialism, communism. We've sent all the millionaires and billionaires away because there's no reason for them to be in this country. The homelessness and unemployment's going through the roof. Inflation's gone through the roof. Everything's so fucking expensive. And now Labour are basically saying, let's be lazier, let's do less. Oh, wait a minute, no, don't contact me out of office hours. This to me, honestly, absolute nonsense in my humble opinion. So let me know what you think in the comments about this right to switch off, because surely, I mean, I go for walks at 2 and 3 in the morning. I send voice memos at 3 in the morning. I don't expect my staff to reply until 3 in the morning. They manage their own time. I manage mine. But I expect that message to be delivered, and if they don't want to listen to it or read it, they can wait until they're ready to listen to it and read it. And surely we're just teaching people to be even more entitled, even more work-shy. Now, here's the irony. Labour, the word labour means work. And now this right to switch off is essentially saying Less work, work from home, walk the dog. I want to do 3 days' work, 5 hours a day, and I want to get paid 12 days a week for it because I deserve it, because I am of the new generation. I mean, honestly, this shit is absolute nonsense. Um, what do you think? I know I'm going to get a lot of hate for this, especially from people who say, well, work-life balance. But here's the thing. Isn't having good mental health about being good at something? Isn't having good mental health about earning good money and feeling valuable and feeling useful and being part of a community that's doing something exciting and disruptive and useful? Is that not what having good mental health is? So— and by the way, when we're in prosperity, You know, when the economy is growing at 3.5% a year, and when we've got all the billionaires moving to the UK and creating thousands of jobs and building big— think of all the buildings, the big, beautiful, iconic buildings we used to build. We are Great Britain! And now what do we build? Nothing! Because anyone with any money's fucked off. They've gone to Monaco, they've gone to Dubai. Monaco, Dubai, Portugal. They embrace entrepreneurship. They understand that a bit of hard work is required to, you know, Brexit, lockdown. I mean, these are the— we are the closest to World War III. The economy is the worst since the Second World War in terms of relative spending power. The answer to that is not to do less and look after your mental health and take a few days off a week and don't contact me about anything work-related between the hours of of all hours. No, that does not solve any mental health issues. That does not solve any issues within our nation. And yeah, I agree, Christina said that the work-life balance is a con. Essentially, do meaningful shit, struggle and deal with challenging things that you overcome and you transcend, that you're passionate and inspired by. Growth, what about growth? It was so funny when the Conservatives were bragging about 1% economic growth, better than X European country. Except America's like 3-odd percent. I mean, in a way America's way more fucked and yet it's still growing as an economy much, much more than we are. Anyway, rant over. If you are the kind of person that actually does want to work a bit, that actually does want to make some money, that actually wants to do more, not less, actually wants a good life, understands that making money and starting your own business and getting— being good at your fucking job, and you understand that that is the way to get us out of this nonsense bullshit that we've been in for the last 4 and a half years. If that's you, I recommend you join Rob.team. Rob.team is my digital financial freedom platform that helps you start and scale a business, make, manage, and multiply more money, helps you get your tax bill down and your income streams up. And it costs less than 20 pence a day to join. You can cancel anytime. There's no ongoing contract. Therefore, there's no risk to you. To get a university degree might cost you 6 figures. To join Rob.team, to get hundreds of hours of courses, resources, and masterclasses won't even cost you 2 coffees a month. No-brainer. Now look, I'm not saying you should work yourself to the bone. I'm not saying you should have no other interests and hobbies outside of work. I'm not saying you should be working at 2 in the morning. I'm definitely not saying that. But you're an adult, right? And you don't need software to block your employer's emails. And you don't need some socialist communist government to ban your employer who pays your mortgage and your wages and gives you work. You don't need some nonsense communist state to control and govern that. Because here's the thing, you know when we have the next recession and the next lockdown and companies have to let go of half the staff, which half are they going to let go of? The ones that didn't respond to an email after 5:01, the ones that banned anyone who employs them to communicate with them and voted Labour, or the ones that actually, you know what, they gave a bit, they were valuable. I know, I know what I'd choose. So let me know what your thoughts are in the comments. By the way as well, I've got a couple of special gifts in Rob.team if you join. Like now, and that is that, um, it might cost you 6 figures to get a university degree, a college degree, and something which will take you 20 years to pay the debt off. Whereas when lockdown happened, I reduced Rob.team by 80%, so it's 1/5 of what it cost before lockdown because I wanted to do my bit to help as many people as possible who are struggling. Because my mission is to help as many people on this planet get better financial knowledge. I haven't put the price up since. I will when I launch version 3 of the platform. So if you join Rob.team now, you essentially get an 80% discount on its original fees and you get hundreds of hours of courses, resources, and masterclasses on making, managing, and multiplying money, on starting and scaling your business, on building multiple streams of recurring income, whether that is turning your passion into your profession or your content into cash flow or what you already know into cash flow or getting better at your existing job. You know, you shouldn't necessarily quit your job if you've got a job that you enjoy. Just do it better than anyone else. Just do more than you're paid to do. Find a way to be completely indispensable and valuable. Maybe that means doing a bit of extra work and doing a bit of overtime and doing a bit more for your employer unpaid. Because when you own your own business, your employer is your customer. So what are you going to say to your customer? Hmm, don't email me at 5:01 from Friday. Until 9:30 AM on Monday when I decide to get up and I can be arsed to talk to you. No. So your employer is your customer when you run your own business. And what are Labour going to do? Ban customers from sending customer service emails to employers? No, they're not. What are they going to do? Ban staff members from wasting time at work at the water cooler or on social media? No, they're not. Which proves they're They're communist wrapped in Labour. They are a communist regime. And that does not end well for anyone who's entrepreneurial or enterprising. So if you want to avoid all this shit, join Rob.team. Just type in Rob.team into any webpage. That's how you join. Just open up a webpage now. You might not be able to click the link and just type in Rob.team. Rob.team. Oh, you know, you write money books. Well, you're the one that makes the money because you sell the books. Yeah, well, I earn 50p net from every £10 book I sell, so I'm clearly not writing books to be rich. I'd have to sell about 20 billion. So I'm clearly writing books to help people, but kids will always go free in rob.team to prove to the world that I am on a mission to help as many people get better financial knowledge. Some, some teenagers can't afford to pay— well, anyone can afford a couple of coffees a month, but, um, that's my give back. If you've got kids, give them your login, they go free with your membership. Then also, I did this live in Rob.team Gold. I did a 16-hour, 12-module Money Mastermind University. That's currently finished. It's in Rob.team, it's just just being, thumbnails are just being added. And then that will come out of rob.team and I'll sell it for 700 quid as an online course to rival university financial degrees. If you join rob.team right now, you can get that for free before it's fully finished visually, because the content's all there and I take it out. So just type in rob.team, that's there waiting for you. I've done courses on how to make 10 grand in the next 30 days and workbooks manuals that go with it. I've done how to hit 10 grand a month recurring, courses, workbooks, and manuals. I've done how to hit 100 grand in the next 3 to 6 months, courses, workbooks, and manuals. This is all in Rob.team. So go join right now, do yourself a favor, and do not fall for any of this work-life balance veiled socialist communist nonsense. You have to be really careful what you become implicit in. Because you do something that sounds good for you and easier for you, but then you've become implicit. Like when you gave all your free data to social media because you thought, oh, I can have all this social media for free, here's all my data. And now they're tracking you, tracing you, and they're following your every move, and they're advertising to you, and they're controlling you via your own device. Well, if you allow Labour to bring in these ridiculous socialist-like victim entitled policies like my right to switch off and not reply to my employer who pays my wages, then you're going to become implicit in this nation dying even more. I didn't know if it could die anymore. The Great British Empire is on its knees, and only we can change it. And that's why I do all these rants. So see you in Rob.team. Just type in R-O-B dot T-E-A-M because The hundreds of hours of courses, resources, and masterclasses are there waiting for you. And remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything.
