Warning: “Prepare for 15% Inflation” ⛔️

In this video Rob Moore warns viewers that the official inflation figure of 9.3% vastly understates the true cost-of‑living increase, which he believes is already at or above 15% and could rise further. He argues that government pandemic lockdowns, massive fiscal deficits, and mismanagement have driven inflation and eroded personal wealth, while large energy firms post record profits. Moore critiques the tax system, government debt, and the lack of support for small businesses, suggesting that the political elite benefit at the expense of ordinary citizens. He then offers a series of personal‑finance recommendations: withdraw cash from banks, invest in inflation‑beating assets such as real estate, gold, or a personal brand, and create multiple recurring income streams. Throughout, he promotes his membership platform, Rob.team, as a resource for learning how to build businesses, invest, and achieve financial independence. The video ends with a call to share the message and join the platform.

Warning: prepare for 15% inflation next year. Let me say that again: prepare for 15% inflation next year. This is a quote, this is not me saying. The Resolution Foundation, who are apparently a think tank of experts are warning you to prepare for 15% inflation next year. And I've got a few things to say about that. Number one, it's already fucking 15%. They're telling us it's 9.3. No, it's not. Bullshit. Let me ask you these questions. Has your fuel gone up 9.3% in the last year? Has your food gone up just 9.3% in the last year? Your energy, your travel, your basic living expenses, has it gone up 9.3% in the last year? No, no, it's gone up way, way more. So you should be very concerned about this. Now, by the way, I'd love your thoughts in the comments on what you think the real rate or amount of inflation is, but I think it is way higher than they're telling us of 9.3%. Now, when you have the indexes, the RPI, um, the CPI, they don't include everything in them. So they're selective inflation statistics. Some don't have asset prices in them, so don't— some don't have food prices factored in. So in my opinion, inflation is nearly always more than you're told. Well, because they don't put all of the information in, and you know really if your general living expenses has gone up. And I don't mean by you spending more, I mean you know what your fuel bills are now. Get this right, I mean, you're not gonna have any sympathy for me, and I'm not asking for it because, you know, I'm doing— I've done all right, but my energy bills are going up £200,000. So I have a portfolio of properties and the heating and electricity bills on that property portfolio is going up £200,000. How is that fucking— what planet are we on? What are the government doing to our country? So apparently at the moment inflation is 9.3%, apparently it's going to go up to 11% in October and you should be ready for for it being 15% in 2023. And so I'm saying, uh, and the rest, like the rest. So if they tell you inflation is 15%, then it's 20 or 25 or 30. They tell you it's 9.3%, then it's 15 or 20. This is my opinion. Let me know what you think about it. Now, um, I spoke my mind about the lockdowns, and I thought the way that businesses would just shut down and it was illegal to run a business and you were forced to wear a mask, I wondered if that would— we would all come to suffer for many years because of that, those decisions. And now we're 2 years and 3 or 4 months on. I'm not going to talk about masks because I don't want to make it a health issue. But when it comes to an economics issue, the economy and money in the economy, anything after lockdown 1 was a terrible decision. I can understand why lockdown 1 was imposed for a short time to try and break the pattern and see what's going on here and see if it's, you know, it is life-threatening and deadly, because it could have been. Maybe it could have been. And if it was Well, it would have taken a very strong person not to lock the country down. I think I can almost, almost accept lockdown 1. I cannot accept lockdown 2. I cannot accept soft lockdown 3. I cannot accept one rule for us, lockdown, shut your business, illegal to trade, another rule for the government, do what the fuck they want and have parties. I cannot accept any of this. And I didn't choose to go to war. I didn't choose to have the billions of my tax-paid money— I don't pay the billions, the billions in tax— to go to funding a war. I didn't choose that. So there's wars we didn't choose to be involved in, there's lockdowns we didn't choose to be imposed upon us, and now inflation. They're saying prepare for 15% next year, which in reality is 20 and 25%. This is fucking outrageous. And what are the government doing about it? Nothing. Oh, by the way, did you see Shell, BP, etc., making billions in profits? Their highest registered profit years by some stretch, or for a long time. Now, I do not mind businesses making money, and an energy company's Its business is energy. No problem with that. But how can they make record profits when your fuel bills and your energy bills are doubling and tripling and quadrupling? How can that be right? But it's not their fault. It's not BP or Shell's fault for making billions in profits. It's the government's fault of fucking mismanaging the country and mismanaging the money. It's disgraceful. It really is. And if you agree with me, hit the share button, because if we don't all stand up and speak out about this, they're going to keep pulling our pants down, and our pants will be around our ankles, and then they'll pull our pants off, and then they will parade our pants all around fucking town. It's not gonna change. We have to speak up about it. And I think sharing this video— I don't know, I can't imagine the people at Downing Street are sitting watching Rob Moore and going, yeah, we're going to change everything, but at least we can try. So look, natural price increases, natural slight volatility in inflation, it's natural. But the government in trillions of pounds and dollars worth of debt, with just like— we have to pay in tax billions just to pay the interest on the government's fucking debt. So the government got into debt to the tune of trillions, which we didn't ask them to do, and we didn't give them our blessing to do. And now we have to pay billions in interest just to not pay down the debt, but to just keep the debt where it is. It is on another level, all fucked. James has said, what do you expect them to do? Well, they should not have done lockdown 2 or soft lockdown 3. They should have supported businesses more. They should have done things to fuel the economy, like get certain taxes down to make it easier to trade. They should have supported small businesses. Small businesses fund most of this economy. There are millions of small businesses that got fucked by the government, and they should have supported them. They should have reduced some taxes, increased some subsidy and support, looked how they could have worked together with entrepreneurs and small businesses. Because they let the massive businesses get away with it, but they penalize the small businesses. Now again, I'm not really a, 'Oh, Google, Amazon pay no tax, you know, billionaires take advantage of everyone.' I don't really believe that. I think these big companies produce a lot of value. They produce products and services that a lot of people want, and they generate billions in other taxations, not just evading corporation tax. But these massive companies control the government and the government bend over for them so they can go and have tax havens, but small business owners can't. And small business owners get penalised and have to shut their bars, their pubs, their hotels, their clubs, and their restaurants. So there's a couple of things I think we should do differently, but they don't. Why? Probably because the politicians are getting backhanders and bungs and all paid off by these big massive corporations. So it's the employed person, the small business owner, and the entrepreneur that gets fucked everywhere. Well, of course, and the working class. Yeah, I get that. So thank you, by the way, for all your comments. Hit the share button if you think, uh, if you agree with me or you just think we need to get this message out. Andrew said, come on, Rob, give us some positive info for fuck's sake. Tell us what to do. I always tell everyone what to do at the end of my videos. If you stay long enough to the end, I always give you solutions. Yes, I do have a little bit of a rant about things that I think that are wrong in the world. By the way, um, maybe 1 in 4, not 1 in 5 videos, I start with something happy and positive and no one fucking watches it. So, you know, you're watching this and I always give solutions. Um, James Treadwell has said, what a load of absolute garbage. I don't know what he's referring to, and if he's referring to my answer to his question, yeah, give us a bit more context there. Give me a throw me a bone. So yeah, that kind of comment doesn't really add any value. What specifically do you want to talk about? Okay, so let me do a quick summary of what's just been announced, and then let me give you some solutions, as I said I would. So the small business owner got the self-employed scheme. Well, there was a lot of small businesses that didn't get the loans because they didn't qualify. And there was a lot of people, I know many of them, who shouldn't have got the loans and did, and then they squandered and wasted them all. So actually, again, you know, okay, so a think tank called Resolution Foundation, who apparently is full of experts, has warned that inflation next year is likely to be 15%, so prepare yourself. So my first comment was, yeah, and the rest. So inflation's already 15%. Now they're calling it 9.3%. They're saying it'll be 11% in October, 'But are you fucking stupid?' No, you're not. 'Has your fuel gone up 9.3%?' No, it's gone up way more. 'Has your heating and energy and fuel and food gone up 9.3%?' No, it's gone up way more. 'What about travel? What about commodity prices? What about the things you buy?' No, it's gone up way more. You can't even get a secondhand car anymore. It's gone up crazy. So how fucking stupid do they think we are? It's just bullshit. So if they're saying inflation is 9.3, it's 15. If they're saying 11, it's nearly 20. And if they're saying it's 15, it's 20 or 25%. That's what I think. And I think you should prepare yourself. So a lot of you are saying here about the New World Order, this is all part of the plan, this is the Great Reset, this is what the government want to do, this is what the people in power want, you know, Klaus Schwab, World Economic Forum. So by the way, and let me know about what you think is really going on. And give me something specific, give me something to chat about, give me something to discuss about. Okay, by the way, there are things you can do, and here they are. Number 1 is you've got to get your money out of the banks other than your basic expenses, because if inflation is 9.3, 11, and 15%, then that's what your money is going down by every year. And that's to add to the fact that The banks won't guarantee your money. Some banks in China have just basically stolen the money off the population and said, 'Oh, your savings are now government investments and you can no longer withdraw them and they're ours. Fuck you.' That's basically what they said. And then they lined up a load of tanks outside some of the banks to stop you going and, you know, causing riots. So what you can do is, number 1, get most of your money out of the banks other than your basic expenses. Number 2, make sure the money that's in a bank is in a really good, long-standing, trusted bank. So in the last recession, there was a run on Northern Rock, but Santander were absolutely fine. So just check that your bank's solvent and it's a good solid bank. Number 3 is you've got to protect your cash from inflation, which means you've got to put it into inflation-beating assets. So, um, you know, you've got to go and do your research and diligence on this. You've got to learn to invest Um, but saving is just— cash is trash, and saving is obviously losing you what now will be minimum 15% a year. So, um, whether it's gold or real estate, the thing with money and banks is I'd actually rather have a loan from the bank than money in the bank, because money in the bank is going down 9, 10, 15, 20% a year, it seems now. Um, but money that they lend to me, well, I can leverage that to get income on real estate. Now if something goes wrong with the money, if the bank's got my money, I'm never getting it back. But if I've got the bank's money, they've got to get it back off me. So actually, I want more of the bank's money and I want the banks to have less of my money. So you want to get your money out of the banks, put them into assets, protect them from inflation with real estate, with gold, invest in yourself, start a company. Like Create content into cash flow, information into income, you know, monetize social media. I make a 7-figure income from social media, and so can you. Will it happen overnight? No. But, you know, MrBeast makes a lot more than me on YouTube, and Joe Rogan makes a lot more than me on podcasts. So I'm by no means the biggest guy in the world. I'm just an entrepreneur. I'm not famous, not a celebrity, didn't get naked or go on Love Island or go on OnlyFans. I'm just an entrepreneur. But the government have dug them in such a deep hole themselves, you know, trillions of debt, billions in interest, um, you know, their debt's getting worse, they can't pay it off. The only way they can really pay it off is debase the currency and, you know, print more money and make their debt less by printing more money and making the relative value of debt and money less, which means that you get— your money gets fucked because Every time they print money and essentially pay off their debt relatively, then your money gets reduced in value relatively. Um, Richard has said here, this is absolutely not true, lots of unverified rumors. Um, well, actually, Richard, I don't agree. Um, I agree that it's a prediction, so I didn't say— put the light back on— I didn't say inflation is 15%. Read the fucking title. Um, I said prepare for inflation to be 15%. Um, it's actually now 9.1%. The Bank of England are predicting it will be 11% in October, and I think Tank Resolution Foundation are saying it'll be 15% next year. I, so I'm, I actually think it'll be more. So if Richard is saying here this is absolutely not true, lots of unverified rumors, yeah, I agree, it's not true, it won't be 15% because it already is that or more. So it'll actually be more. I actually agree. And by the way, you've got to protect yourself from this, and you've got to prepare yourself from this. And some people are, oh Rob, you're doom and gloom, and oh, it's so negative. Would you rather know what's really going on and, you know, feel a bit wronged by it, or happy clappy, everything is fine, everything is awesome, inflation's only 15%? You tell me what you would rather do. Face the facts of reality and it not feel great, or everything is awesome, the banks are stealing our money, taxes are more than 70%, everything is awesome. You gotta fucking wake up, in my humble opinion. Now, here, more solutions then. So get your money out the bank, protect it from massive inflation, put it in an asset that beats inflation. Maybe that's real estate, maybe that's your own personal— build your own content personal brand, monetize social media, start a business, have a side hustle, gold, you name it. And then you've got to produce recurring income because no one's getting a 15% pay rise, which means they're losing money. Unless you're getting a 15 to 20% pay rise, you're earning less than you were last year. So you've got to get recurring income. So like, I'll give you some examples of recurring income I have. So I've written 18 books and each one of them pays recurring income. Some of those books I wrote in '08. What's that, 14 years ago? Um, then I have my social media content, which earns 7 figures a year. Then I have my training business, which earns 8 figures a year. Then I have my real estate business, which earns 7 figures a year. Um, my YouTube channel and my podcast earn, you know, 6 and 7 figures in income from ads and sponsors. So these are— I've just given you there 6 or 7 different recurring income streams that you need to set up. And don't say I didn't warn you. And by the way, if it's not quite as bad as I say and it's a bit less, or the government by some miracle managed to pull it all round, then at least you were prepared. And by the way, am I blaming everything on the government? No, there's lots of things that this government are feeling because of the last government, and it's not necessarily our government's fault that Ukraine and Russia are at war. And, you know, I'm not a conspiracy theorist. I don't think that the pandemic, the virus, was started intentionally. So I'm not necessarily just blaming them. I just think they made a lot of bad decisions and they're in a hole too deep that they can't get out of. And if you rely on the government and the system and your employer who's getting hammered by the government for tax, tax, tax, and tax, and tax, and then you're getting hammered for tax, tax, tax, tax, and tax, And if you're relying on the employer and relying on the government, then you're fucked. Then you are paying 50, 60, 70% in tax in what you earn and what you spend. And then with the inflation on top of that, you've got no money left. So you need to learn to earn. You need to invest in asset-beating, inflation-beating, income-producing assets. You need to educate yourself about money, about what's really going on in the world, and create multiple streams of recurring income. And that's how you win. Okay, so while you're joining, I'm just going to do a summary and I'll answer a couple of questions here. Yeah, so this prediction is for 2023. So the prediction is the interest rates will be 15% by 2023 from the Resolution Foundation, who are a think tank of experts. Um, it's currently apparently 9.3% and it's likely to go up to over 11% according to the bank's monetary policy committee. My point here is whatever they tell you inflation is, it's more. Some inflation tracking indexes don't add things like assets and food into it, and they have inflation. So it's a selective measurement of what inflation is. They don't include everything, and surely you have to include everything. Well, everything that you would buy, and you buy food and So I don't think it's accurate. I think it's more. And tax is only going to go up because of it. Like, if the government are trillions in debt and they have billions in interest and they've got billions that they spent on COVID loans, bounce-back loans, PPE equipment there to write off, track and trace apps that didn't work properly And, you know, they spent billions on the war, billions on the vaxes, all of that stuff. Where are they going to get all that money from? You. Me. You, me are going to get taxed worse and worse and worse, more and more and more. I'm telling you, inflation is going to go up before it goes down. Taxes are going to go up before it goes down. Tax is almost at the point where many people will leave this country. Portugal are like, oh, come over to us, no tax. You know, there's going to be some countries that are going to pull in a lot of rich people because it's unsustainable. Some of it's not the government's fault, some of it is. Some of you have said, well, Rob, what would you do about it? Well, look, I'm not in government and I don't want to be in government. I don't know why so many of you are saying Rob for PM. I'd never want to be Prime Minister. But what would I do about it? Why don't I share? Because you all ask me. Well, number one, I'd look at where I could incentivize growth. So it looks to me like all the government are doing is, where can we increase tax revenue? But if they went, where can we create economic growth? What industries do we need to fire up? What industries bring in the most revenue and the most commerce? How can we support them and subsidize them and get out of their way? Could we give them grants? Could we give them subsidies. Could we support them? Could we reduce some taxes? Could we reduce some overhead so that businesses can start to trade again? That would definitely be one thing I would do. The next thing I'll do is I would make the government more lean. There's too many freaking staff in the government. The thing is, there's a lot of people in government, in the public sector, who need to justify their job because they don't really do anything. They've never built anything, they never designed anything, they've never invented anything, they've never made anything. They've never created anything. They're essentially just a bottleneck, an admin bottleneck. You know, I was speaking to a very well-known politician. The tax codes, you know, the tax laws are thousands, tens of thousands of pages long. Why doesn't someone just come in and just go, 'Tax is a flat rate'? Because then 100 people or 1,000 people in government would lose their job. But why is tax so complicated? Why don't they just have one flat tax rate? Fair, simple, because then a load of people who need to justify their job wouldn't have a job anymore. So that's what I would do. Get rid of a load of people that aren't needed. The next thing I'd do is I'd consult with the country's top entrepreneurs and business people. I would find the top entrepreneurs and business people in this country, in the world, who'd started from nothing and built a massive enterprise and knew about production and value and innovation, and I'd get them all in a round table in 10 Downing Street, and I'd consult and I'd get advice off them all, and I'd find out how they'd fuel the economy. And by the way, a lot of the top economists are broke, and a lot of the top economists are theorists. The real economists are people who made a lot of money. So I'd do that. I'd support the small business. I'd look at how we could increase the revenue of the small business. There's some of the things I would do because you ask. So let me know what you think in the comments about inflation probably going to 15% next year. Let me know, um, if you think that the country is being managed well, you know, the the monetary policy and how our country is being run. I believe that if inflation is 9.3%, it's actually probably more like 15%, and if they say it's going up to 15%, it's going to be a lot more, and you got to be ready. I gave you some solutions like getting your money out of the bank because it's just dying with inflation and getting into, um, inflation-beating assets and assets that produce income. Because here's the thing, if you have to work more and more and more and harder and harder and harder and longer and longer and longer and pay more and more tax. That is an unsustainable model for you whereby you are getting penalised the more you work because you're giving more of it away. So you have to change that system and you have to stop thinking about exchanging time for money and you have to start thinking about building assets that produce income. Instead of working hard for your money, get your money working hard for you. And the first basic thing you've got to do is protect it from inflation so it at least beats or equals inflation. Then you want multiple streams of recurring income from assets that beat and protect from inflation, and then you're on your way to protecting yourself and in fact being a wild success. The next thing you can do is look for the opportunity. What businesses are needed right now? What problems do people have right now that you could solve for a fair profit? That's something else you can do. And if you want to learn how to beat inflation and invest in good assets low cost, um, if you haven't got a lot of money, you want to start scale a business, get better financial education and knowledge, make, manage, and master money from someone who's actually done it not just a theorist. But, you know, someone said to me, what are your qualifications? Making hundreds of millions in the last 16 years. I would probably say they're better than any, um, you know, a lot of the people who teach at college, business, finance, economics, they earn 50 grand a year. I could earn more than that in a day. I've earned more than that in an hour. So this is what the government need. The government need people with real experience to consult for them.
