In this video Rob Moore delivers an urgent warning about the UK government's plan to raise the state pension (retirement) age from the current 66 to 67, 68 and potentially 70 for people under 30. He emphasizes that longer life expectancy combined with higher pension ages means individuals will spend the majority of their lives working and will receive a modest weekly pension (Ā£179.60 for new full-rate pension, Ā£137.60 for the old basic rate) that is insufficient to cover living costs, especially amid rising inflation, costāofāliving pressures, low interest rates and the lingering effects of the pandemic. Moore argues that the state will not be able to provide adequate retirement security and therefore each person must take full responsibility for their own financial future. He outlines three core lessons: (1) build substantial capital (e.g., Ā£1 million to generate Ā£50ā60 k a year at 5ā6% return), (2) invest in assets that generate recurring income, and (3) become your own independent financial advisor. He promotes his free resource hub (robmoore.com/mmm) which offers his books, interviews with billionaires, and weekly curated moneyārelated content, positioning these tools as essential for achieving financial independence and intergenerational wealth. Throughout, he urges viewers to share the message, comment, and engage with his resources, framing the rising pension age as a systemic risk that requires personal action.

I need to warn you about the rising of the retirement age, the pension age. This is an urgent warning. Now, whatever age you are, this affects you and it affects people you know. So the retirement age is currently 66. Now, you know, decades ago it might have been 10 years less than that. Now, of course The state would say, well, that's the increase in how long we live, but the retirement age is proposed to go up from 66 to 67 to 68. Now I need to give you a stark warning here. I really believe this. This isn't necessarily a bash at the state pension system. It's a warning to you. If the age of retirement and the state pension is going up from 66 to 67 to 68, that's a lot of decades that you need to keep working. And Iā and yeah, Sean Paul has just said the younger you are, the more you suffer. Get this, well, for those now aged under 30, the state pension could go up to 70 years old. 70 years old! I think the average life expectancy is about 80, give or take either side. So you've got to work 7/8 of your life to hopefully enjoy a bit of retirement for 1/8 of your life. I mean, to me, that's justā that's wrong. That is fundamentally wrong. Now get this, right? The state pension, the newā the full new flat rate state pension for those who reach state pension age after April 2016, get this, Ā£179.60 a week. I, I paid Ā£55 for a breakfast in London 2 days ago. Ā£179.60 a week is the state pension. The full old basic state pension for those who reach state pension age before April 2016 is Ā£137.60. So please hit the share button. We must get this message out to the masses. A lot of people don't know this. They don't know how long you have to live and how little you get from the state. The state have not managed that pension money maybe like you'd manage that money. There's no money left in it. People are living longer, there's more population, the government are in more debt, people areā there's no money left. So why am I telling you this? As a warning for you to take full responsibility for your retirement. That's why I love being an entrepreneur. That's why I create so much content like this. My personal vision is to help as many people on this planet start and scale their business and get better financial education. I want you to be self-sufficient. I want you to have enough capital to live your life and then your children live live their life. Intergenerational wealth. Because I just have to be honest with you, and I'm sorry if this is a bit offensive to some people, the government will not save you. They will not take care of you. They will not look after you. They do not love you. State pension age of retirement is on the increase. Now, there is a lot of pressure to hold that back, but 65 to 66 to 67 And anyone under 30 currently, it could be age 70. Shit! Yes, I paid Ā£6.33 for a bottle of water in a London hotel. So inflation is huge, cost of living is way going up, interest rates are really low, we're in this pandemic situation. So what are the lessons? The lessons are: number 1, you must take care of your own financial future. Number 2, you must invest in assets that create recurring income. Number 3, you must build enough capital for you to see yourself through retirement. You don't want to retire at 67, 68, or 70. I'm sure maybe you want to retire at 47, 50, or 57, and the government aren't going to do that for you. And maybe it's not even their job, maybe it's your job. Just have to be honest. So take care of your own financial future. Have enough capital, you know, realistically earn 5-6% a year on capital invested safely. So Ā£1 million is Ā£50,000 to Ā£60,000 a year. Ā£10 million is Ā£500,000 to Ā£600,000 a year. Build up that capital pot. Invest it yourself. I've always said this, I wrote this in my book Money. I say that you should be your own financial advisor, because most FAs are not I, independent. You should be your own independent financial advisor. You should learn to manage and invest and master your own money. Build the capital reserves, invest them, you know, low, medium risk, most of your capital, and then some speculation on a small amount of your capital. Invest in assets that pay recurring income streams so you can live off the income, not the capital. And no one is going to look after you in retirement except you. No one's going to give you enough money to retire except, except you. Let me tell you these figures again. Please share this. This is a shocker. But then the full new flat rate state pension is Ā£179.60 a week. That is not enough to live on. I don't care where you're from, that is not enough to live. Inflation on the rise, cost of living on the rise, ability to earn on the decline because of you know, the, the, um, pandemic that we're in now. The old basic state pension is Ā£137.60 a week. You cannot live on that anymore. People have got to get their minds adjusted. You can't live on the state pension. A million is not enough to retire, and all your figures are all old and out of date. So hit the share button, please warn people about this. You have to take care of your own financial future. You have to be your own independent financial advisor. You have to educate yourself on managing and mastering money. That's why I wrote the book Money. The state is not going to do it for you. The state does not want to look after you. You are a drain on the state, especially if you're older and living longer. You've got to get real about this. Invest in assets that create recurring income. Build up capital, most of it in, you know, a secure investment. Um, you know, you've got low, medium, and high risk. Speculate with max 10%. The rest safe and secure, 5-6% of return, build up the capital, invest in assets that produce recurring income streams, and you take care of your own financial future. You start and scale meaningful businesses that change the world, you know, help you make money and help make a difference. This is what it has to beā intergenerational wealth started by you.
