Why Hard Work Doesn't Make You Rich

Rob Moore argues that surrounding yourself with wealthy people matters more than hard work or industry choice. He went from $50,000 in debt to owning 340 rental units, and now offers a six-month WhatsApp mentorship program called Race to 10K with bi-weekly millionaire guest mentors and daily access to him.

The only way to get rich. When you boil it all down, there's actually only one way to get rich. I'll tell you straight up though, the guaranteed way to never be rich is to learn from broke people and hang around broke people. No one got rich learning from and hanging around with and being infiltrated by broke people. Fact. Now, I'm not judging broke people. They just don't have money. They might have a nice personality, they just don't have money. Not judging them. But I guess if you're watching this video and you click this, it's because you're probably quite interested to know the one way to get rich. Now, I've been broke and I've been rich. And you know, some people say, well, you know, Money isn't everything. Well, it is if you don't have any. It then is. And when I was broke, 50 grand in debt, I hated rich people. I hung around with broke people, and I held loyalty to people who were quite negative and draining, or at least they liked a little pity party of misery and let's all be broke and light a fire and put our broke marshmallows and sing broke songs. Hold hands and sing broke kumbaya. And I was probably the instigator of that because misery loves company. Misery loves company over there, millionaires love company over there. So people think, for example, that the business model is the most important thing if you want to get rich. Well, people become millionaires in the stock market and go bust in it. People become millionaires in crypto and go bust in it. People become millionaires in e-com and go bust in it. People become millionaires in real estate and go bust in it. So you can't even say it's the business model that's the main way that you go rich. Sure, there are things like real estate, which, you know, people tend to make millions in it if they stay in it for the long term. People say, oh, hard work, it's all about hard work, you've got to work really hard to be rich. What about the nurses? They work 14, 16-hour shifts, paid by the government virtually nothing, virtually minimum wage. They're not rich. What about all the people down the the coal and the gold mines, you know, in the developing countries who are killing themselves to make the fat cats rich. So actually, it's not even hard work that makes people rich. The one thing, the one commonality in all rich people— and I know this because I've interviewed hundreds of them, I know hundreds of them, I've interviewed 21 billionaires— the only one way to get rich is to learn from rich people. Do what the rich do. Transcend the judgment of I remember I saw a Ferrari in Peterborough about 18 years ago. And I just love Ferraris. And as a kid, I always wanted one, the 430. I had the 430 Spyder, the first one. I remember I became the thing that I hated, but I love the Testarossa. I love the F40. And the first time I saw a Ferrari in Peterborough, and I immediately thought, drug dealer, wanker, yuppie. Look at him getting out in his suit, probably going to go and do a drug deal, probably screwing people over for money. I didn't even know the guy. Um, by the way, um, envy is just desire. I just wanted the Ferrari. I wanted what he had, and I rejected it through envy. The best thing I could have done is gone up to him and said, 'All right, mate, how you doing? Nice car. What do you do?' You know, on TikTok now, people go up, 'Nice car. What do you do? How did you make your money?' That's what I should have done, but I didn't have the— my ego was in the way. So It's actually a shortcut. It's not a hack in the— it's not get rich quick, it's get rich quicker. It's get rich long. But the shortcut is simply this: follow rich people online and consume their content. When they write books, read books written by rich people. Go to seminars and events and courses from rich people. Join masterminds from rich people. Hang around places where rich people hang around. Go to the car shows, go to the flying clubs, go to the high-end networking events. Someone said to me, they've been listening to me, me encouraging them to go to places where people had money. They went to a christening and raised some money. They did a joint venture at a christening. So, you know, if you think about it, if you hang around people long enough, you'll become what they are through osmosis. You can't not become the 6th person of the 5 people you hang around with. It's just not possible. So give me a yes in the comments if you would like the opportunity to learn how to get rich? Give me yes. And by the way, this is not scammy, cheap, tacky shit. Oh, get rich clicking a button in 2 minutes flat. No, it's real wealth over the long term. I've been rich for nearly 20 years, and I don't just mean, you know, a million of property and 1.2 million of mortgages. I became a net worth millionaire aged just under 31. I became a deca-millionaire aged 35. I have 340 rental units. We've done a quarter of a billion in sales. Just in our training businesses. Been doing this a long time. I'm not a 17-year-old TikToker with no pukes. I've been doing this a long time. 19 books on business and money. So give me a yes in the comments if you'd like to learn how to get rich by infiltrating networks. If you'd like to maybe have access to some of these networks, get mentored by the right millionaires and mentors, and shortcut your journey towards wealth. Most people who follow me are entrepreneurs or want to be entrepreneurs. And the best way to accelerate your wealth and the only way to get rich is jump into masterminds and leverage the traits of the millionaire greats. Stand on the shoulders of the millionaire giants. The success of millionaires— clues are left that you can follow. So give me a yes if you like the idea. Oh, also give me a yes if you're competitive. Give me a yes if you like to win cash. Give me a yes if you like a challenge, because here's what I'm doing. I'm doing something brand new called the Race to 10K. It's a third hybrid of a challenge with accountability. These free challenges never work because there's no accountability. It's a third mentoring directly with me one-to-one, and it's a third masterminding with, um, people in my, um, in my network. And mentoring with me is 48 grand plus that. My inner circle elite mentoring is 25. Masterminding is 25 grand plus that. But this won't even be 48, won't be 25, it won't even be 12, which is the sort of lowest level, the 0 to 6 figure. It won't even be 6. Less, less, less. And the reason is, is because I'm actually doing it on WhatsApp now. This is going to piss off my competitors. My competitors do not like giving out their mobile number. They do not like people messaging them on WhatsApp. I love it. I spend 3 or 4 hours of my day on WhatsApp, do a lot of my business on WhatsApp. I do my 20,000 steps a day. I'm out now doing my steps, answering WhatsApps. And here's the thing. If you pay 25 to 30 grand to one of my competitors to be mentored by them, you wouldn't get their mobile number. You'd have a Zoom call maybe once a month, maybe once every 2 months. You'd get 30, 45 minutes, then they cut you off. You'd have to save all your questions up over 8 weeks. It's just, it's not going to be quick enough. Whereas you can ask me any question anytime, 24/7, for the next 6 months. The Race to 10K starts 1st of July in a few days' time, and I am going to race you to 10K a month. You can ask me 10 questions a day, every day for 6 months if you want, and you can star and save all the questions from all the other people in the group as well. I'm giving $10,000 to the winner, $25,000 worth of masterminding. 3 of you are going to win all of your fees back, but it is application only. You can't pay now. You have to apply. We'll review in the first round. If you get through that, my team will call you for the second round and see if it's a fit. I'm not interested in anyone's money. I don't need any more money. I'm not interested unless it's a fit. If it's a fit and we can work together, there is going to be a fee because that creates accountability to you. And accountability for me, because if you paid me, I commit to you. And if you paid me, you commit to you. So if you'd like to apply, no obligation to apply. The link is race210k.com, which is spelled R-A-C-E-T-O-1-0-K dot com. Race210k. I'm going to sit down here on this park bench. Hopefully I'm in Peterborough, so hopefully, you know, I'm safe. And I'm going to share the link with you here. So it's race2-10k10.com. Now this starts in a few days' time, so you've got to be quick and get your application in. Um, but If you can answer yes to any of these, it's probably for you. Would you like to make more money for the rest of this year and hit the goals you probably already had or wanted for the start of the year but have fallen behind on? Would you like to get to $10K a month net recurring income within the next 6 months? Would you like mentoring and direct access via WhatsApp to a multimillionaire who will answer any of your questions usually through voice memos that you can save and always have on your phone forever. Immediate questions answered. Would you like to— me to bring in my guest millionaire mentors every 2 weeks in property and business and marketing and sales and all the elements you need, um, to hit that 10K a month? By the way, we have a scale-up group which is more hitting the 100 grand within the next 3 to 6 months. If you're a bit more experienced, we'll put you in that group. Would you like access to a lot of my master resource documents, my 22-page 7-figure launch template document that I wrote for my internal team to do $20 million a year in sales launches? Would you like the company manual that I had written for my entire company and probably end up being a 300-page document on how to run an 8-figure business? You get access to all of these in the race to $10K.com. And direct access to me. So something very unique. I've never done anything like this before, and I've been in the training, educating, and mentoring space for nearly 2 decades. I know how to get results for people, otherwise I wouldn't have been doing this for 2 decades. I've been quite hands-off over the years in my businesses, traveled the world with my son because he was one of the best golfers in the world when he was a kid, and, you know, going off and launching my podcast and writing books. But this year I'm very heavily involved in the business again. Growing it to new levels, taking it global, and therefore probably the best time to work with me to watch over my shoulder as I do this for my own companies. You know, my company probably would be $100 to $150 million if it was in America, and that's the next phase for us. And so that's, that's the mission I'm on. So if you like the idea of being able to be a voyeur and me drag you through that, then make sure you apply for the Race to 10K. And also I'm looking for great case studies. I need to redo the platforms on Rob.team and RobMoore.com in about 6 months' time. And I want to bang up some new, fresh, amazing case studies of people who got very results very quickly. I get people results quick, one, because I'm quick, I'm demanding, I love speed, I hate friction. I've been doing this a long time. I'm pretty direct. Cut through all the shit. So, you know, I know I can help you, uh, but I can't make you do this, of course. But you can apply without any obligation at race210k.com. R-A-C-E-T-O-1-0-k.com. If you go and apply now, if you're lucky enough to get to the next stage, in the second stage, one of my team will call you and you can talk about other details. By the way, um, it's about 87% of my usual one-to-one mentoring fees. It's over 70% of my masterminding fees, mainly because I can do it on WhatsApp, and so there's the face-to-face element taken away, which saves costs. But it's just as good in some ways. Um, but also, nearly half the fee, you only pay on results. So only when you hit 10 grand a month do you pay the remainder of the And if you're a Rob Moore team member, you get an extra discount on top. So really pushing it out there to make this accessible to anyone. I often only now mentor and do masterminding with millionaires. That's why, you know, my fees are where they are, because obviously that's affordable to millionaires. This is quite a rare opportunity to work with me, you know, if you're at the startup level, which is kind of the grassroots stuff, you know, that I get excited about. You know, helping a millionaire make a few more mil is not as rewarding as helping a zero-er get their first 10 grand or 100 grand. And I'm up for helping you if you're up for investing in yourself. Because remember, you are your best asset. Invest in yourself wisely. You pay yourself the best return. And also remember that to know and not to do is not to know. Also remember, when all is said and done, more is said than done. So jump on the application page at race to 10K.com. The link is in the comments if you need it written out. I look forward to working with you. Thanks for tuning in. Because remember this: anyone can go rich, or anyone can go broke in any business, in any way. But no one got rich hanging around broke people. No one got rich learning from broke people. And everyone who got rich learned to raise money, not necessarily to start, but to scale. Got accountability to implement the things they find hard to make money, and they learn from rich people. They are the 3 common similar traits of every millionaire I've ever met, and there's hundreds of them. So, um, I can help you, and I'll see you at race2$10k.com. And if you don't risk anything, you risk everything. And remember, stay disruptive.
