Why the Rich Should Pay LESS Tax đł

Rob Moore argues that small-business owners earning up to ÂŁ1 million pay 60-70% in combined taxes while billionaires pay far less. He proposes a 5-10% tax increase on billionaires to fund the economy, and says entrepreneurs should reduce their burden by offsetting business expenses.

Why the rich should pay less tax, not more. No, no, no, the rich should not be paying more tax. This uneducated rhetoric needs to stop. The only people calling for the rich to pay more tax are the broke. And the broke don't understand economics. If they did, they wouldn't be broke. Now, by the way, there's a difference between poor and broke. I'll come back to that. I fundamentally believe we should be protecting the rich. We should be allowing the rich to get richer. We should also be allowing the poor to get richer, but that's another story. We should not be penalizing the rich for producing innovating, building, solving, employing, and taking risks. But right now, with Rishi as the new Prime Ministerâ Minister Taxâ Rishi will have us on 110% tax. And if you're not rich, if you think that taxing the rich is the solution, they're coming for you too. Now, here's a caveat. I do not believe that the rich should be taxed more, but I believe the super-rich should be taxed more. Now, this is where I believe our government have got it wrong. Our government penalise the poor, the working middle, and the lower rich class. So let's say, for example, the lower rich classâ I've just made up that classâ But let's just say, for example, the lower rich classes, um, they make a million a year or less. So if you make a million a year or less, or if you have your own company and you generate a million in sales, you are heavily taxed. So there's VAT, corp tax, income tax, national insurance, pension contributions. There's tax on what you sell, there's tax on what you buy. There's double and triple taxes on some things, and you're paying 60 to 70% of your earnings and your spendings in tax if you are the poor, working middle class, or the lower rich class, which is a class I just made up. But if you are the super rich, if you are a billionaire, if you are a massive corporation, you're paying virtually nothing. So we need to educate ourselves and the system that theâ we allâ none of us, um, believe that the poor and the working class should be taxed more. And actually, taxing the poor and the working class more won't bring in that much revenue. But here's the thing: imagine if we taxed the super rich just 5% more. We would generate trillions. I mean, Apple is now, what, a trillion-dollar company? We would generate at least hundreds of billions, if not trillions, in revenue if we taxed the super rich just 5% more. But instead, what's happening is the small business, which is probably the lower rich class, these are being penalized and the big super rich are being protected. Now, do you know the small business owner generates 90% plus of the economy in the UK, and they are one of the most, if not the, the most heavily taxed Bracket. So we must protect the entrepreneurs, the innovators, the creators, the disruptors, the inventors, and the employers. The rich. But to be in the top 1% of rich, you probably only have to earn 100 grand. To be in the top 0.1%, it's probably not even a million. So we must protect the small business owner, protect the new millionaire, the lower-class rich. And tax them less, not more. They're the ones employing all the people, they're the ones taking all the risk. But the super-rich who've got offshore tax havens and they've set up their company in Ireland and they don't do any drawings, they just generate money through debt and drawing money out of their company in their clever waysâ I'm not saying that's wrong, I'm just saying that we should charge them a bit more tax, a fair amount of tax. Just 5 to 10% more tax on the billionaires and the super-rich, and we are going to generate trillions, and it will be more fair. That is my belief. I'd love to know what you think in the comments. Now here's the thing: if you want to get your tax down, you must be an entrepreneur. You cannot be an employee. An employee pays tax first, and then you pay yourself last. You get what's left. Whereas an entrepreneur and a small business owner, you pay yourself first and you pay tax last. You can offset your travel, your expenses, your equipment, your software, your systems, your hardware. You can offset this all as a business expense and get your tax down significantly if you own a company and you're an entrepreneur. By the way, even if you're employed as well but you've got a side hustle or a startup company, it's the only way to to get your unfairly high tax down. I'm not sure if you were listening properly, Jeanette. A lot of people, um, don't listen properly. Why? Because they've got their own emotions that are clouding their ability to listen properly. I said that the rich should be taxed less, but the super rich should be taxed more. I'm not super rich. I'm not a billionaire. So I'm not in that bracket, um, but the rich are being taxed too much and the super rich are not being taxed enough. And there's a big fucking difference. There's a big difference between someone who's got a company that does a million a year in revenue and they make 150 grand net and they're deemed as rich but they're being taxed like 70%. There's a huge difference from them and the billionaires that are being taxed virtually nothing. There's a massive difference and we must get clear on the difference. So it is wise to listen more carefully. Okay, my 10-year-old just asked if you're a YouTuber. Yes, I am, and my channel is called Rob Moore, um, Rob Moore Disruptors. I think the super rich should be taxed more, and the lower class rich, who are actually taxed some of the most, should be taxed less. And then the economy will grow, because they're the biggest employers, they're the biggest risk takers, they're the biggest disruptors, they're the biggest inventors, they're the biggest drawer in of overseas investment. So let me know what you think in the comments. Unpopular opinion, but that's because the masses don't know economics.
