More bad news for Will. So it looks like Netflix and Sony, uh, could end up canceling Will Smith. So, hmm, let me know what you think about that. I think, um, at the moment Netflix and Sony have just announced that they're pausing filming of Fast and Loose and Bad Boys 4. I don't like cancel culture. Uh, I think that he's a human being, and, um, I don't think the whole world needs to punish him. Uh, but we're all being judged every single day, every single minute on social media. And, you know, anyone in the limelight, I guess they've got a responsibility. So yeah, exactly, Hannah. Um, news is just breaking that Netflix and Sony are pausing filming of Fast and Loose and of Bad Boys 4, which could lead to Will Smith being canceled. That will cost Sony and Netflix hundreds of millions, certainly tens of millions. It will cost Will Smith tens— I don't know how much he gets paid for a film. Um, let me know what you think about this, by the way. Yes, he resigned from the Academy. Um, some people were saying, well, it was going to get pushed. I don't actually know. He's obviously a big deal, Will Smith, one of the top actors in the whole world. So I'm not 100% sure if the Academy would have, um, fired him out of the Academy, but he resigned. And I kind of think like resigning from the Academy, not being able to vote for future awards, I kind of feel like maybe that's bad enough. And do we Should Netflix and Sony really be canceling him? No, you don't think so? Bobs, what do you think? I like Will Smith. You like Will Smith? I like Will Smith. Okay, but slapping people is not good, is it? No, especially on the bottom. Yeah, he did apologize. There's very much public apologies. Look, the reason I've been commenting on it is because I think that it raises some interesting social and moral dilemmas. Let's be honest, we all like to observe through the celebrity. It's escapism for us. But, you know, I just think that it's easy to judge, and I kind of feel like enough is enough. And I kind of feel like he's just a human being, and he was obviously triggered and emotional and upset and Um, he's apologized twice, uh, and he's resigned from the Academy. And does he really now need to get canceled off the movies that he's doing? He's still a great actor, he's still an inspirational guy, he's a human being who made a little mistake. Although I do accept the fact that violence publicly, maybe some people would deem that's not a little mistake. But let me know what you think in the comments. I agree, Will, I don't like cancel culture at all. Uh, and I guess Netflix and Sony could argue that it's put them into disrepute and maybe it's not a, a good, um, he's maybe no longer a good role model, but doesn't undo what Will Smith has done for the world. Ten are like the most popular movies ever. Pretty much everything he's touched turns to gold. Think— I don't know if you've listened to his autobiography. Have a listen to his autobiography and let me know what you think. But I think, you know, he seems to have a good heart. Now, another reason I'm talking about this is because Ronnie has just said, who cares? Um, 2 years pandemic and a war raging on European soil. Um, yeah, in a way I agree, Ronnie. I commented a lot on the lockdown and COVID, risked getting deplatformed myself to help start and scale up entrepreneurs and push against tax increases and lockdowns and everything else. And my video's got millions of views, um, but you kind of— in the end, it's like enough is enough. I'd had enough of it, and you've got to move on to other things. Um, and then, yeah, the war in Ukraine. Lots of videos on make peace, not war, and, um, you know, fighting for our freedom of speech and our freedom of information and doing whatever we can to not fight a war. A world war or a, you know, a local country's war. Um, in a way it's nice every now and again to be able to talk about something else. I do agree though, um, that it's just a slap when there's people killing each other and we've had COVIDs and lockdowns and Brexits and, um, massive increase in taxes, a massive increase in inflation and all the shit we've got going on in the world. But it is all over the news. You cannot go anywhere without seeing Will Smith on TikTok, Will Smith on Facebook. Um, I fear that he's going to get lynched. People are going to take this opportunity to jump all over him and kind of, you know, add to ruining his name, which some people would say he's done himself. But he's a human being, he's a person, and we all make mistakes. And many people have made worse mistakes than that. And let's be honest, our Prime Minister is still in power, and, um, he's done a lot of things that he's got away with that you know, parties while he's putting the world in lockdown. And yeah, there's a lot of things our government are doing that they're not being held accountable for, yet Will Smith is being lynched for, you know— all right, I don't condone violence, not condoning it. Who am I to judge though? Who are we to judge? But there's a lot of people getting away with a lot of shit, and poor Will Smith's getting possibly cancelled by Netflix and by, um, I said it earlier, but, um, he's making— he's fast and loose, and Bad Boys 4 is filming. Netflix and Sony, that's it. Um, they're pausing it. My guess is they probably end up— I don't know, will they end up canceling him or not? What do you think? Let me know what you think. Kids are having fun in the background in the woods. Should Will Smith get canceled for the slap? Was the slap right or wrong? What, um, social and moral questions does that raise? I think that we should, um, share this message out there. I am a bit soft, and so I do tend to forgive people. I thought it was a poor-tasting joke, but it was actually just a joke, um, and he made a mistake. But now what you're going to see, I think, across social media is they're just gonna systematically start canceling him, and I don't like that at all. I do not like that at all. We've all made mistakes. It's easy to judge. Why don't we put all that energy that the world will be putting into Will Smith and canceling him and judging him into holding our government to account? Getting the taxes down. VAT should come down. Income tax should come down. Corporation tax should come down. There should be subsidies and support, um, and they should be helping people start and scale businesses and giving us tax breaks and reliefs. So that we can build this country back up again, so that we can fire up the economy. Inflation is really high, interest rates are really low, cost of living is going through the roof, through the roof. What are the government doing about all this? Not enough, not enough. They've wasted tens of billions on apps that didn't work, on PPE, masks, etc., that they had to end up writing off. And loans that they had to end up writing off. So I do agree with Ronnie what he said. You know, I don't think it was staged. A lot— do you think it was staged? Let me know if you think it was staged. I don't think it was staged. A lot of people said it was, but I mean, I don't think you could stage that emotion. I know he's an actor, but man, when he was shouting at Chris Smith, uh, Chris Rock, I really felt that. Get better financial education and knowledge, um, help you build digital assets, create multiple streams of recurring income. But I do also talk about these wider worldviews when there's these moral, um, and financial and economic quandaries going on. So, you know, I don't like cancel culture at all, and it could start happening to Will, and that's one of the reasons why I've done this live. Um, let me know what you think, or do you think he should be cancelled for a bit and take his medicine? Let me know what you think. Um, and really appreciate you. Remember this: if you don't risk anything, you risk everything. Remember that fear screams loudest when it's dying, and mainstream media is dying and it is scared. And let's be honest, Will Smith, great for mainstream media. What he did, they're just going to absolutely milk him for that. They're going to have no regard for Will Smith, the human being, and how he feels. Just going to milk him because they can leverage, feast off of this. The Oscars were dying and now the views and ratings were up, so Mainstream media is scared it's dying, but they're going to love this and feast on this. I don't think they should be canceling Will Smith. Let me know what you think. Hit the share button. If you don't risk anything, you risk everything.
