Will Trump Fire Elon Musk? (Breaking News)

In this YouTube commentary Rob Moore discusses recent headlines suggesting a power struggle between former President Donald Trump and Tesla/SpaceX CEO Elon Musk over government spending. Moore explains Musk’s self‑appointed “Department of Government Efficiency” (DOGE), which publicly exposes alleged waste in U.S. federal budgets and pushes secretaries to slash costs. Trump acknowledges Musk’s advisory role but reasserts that final spending decisions rest with his senior staff, framing the clash as a battle between two dominant personalities. Moore links this dispute to broader geopolitical tensions – Trump’s hardline stance on Ukraine, tariffs, and perceived alignment with Putin – warning that escalating conflicts could edge the world toward a larger crisis. He then pivots to personal finance, arguing that while businesses and individuals can trim discretionary expenses, the single largest cost is taxes. Moore promotes his “Tax Savers Masterclass,” an eight‑hour, live‑streamed course hosted on his membership platform Rob.team, priced at less than 20 pence per day (equivalent to a £700 course). He outlines the masterclass’s focus on legitimate UK tax‑saving strategies, the credentials of his accountants, and how reducing tax liabilities can outweigh other cost‑cutting measures. The video concludes with a call‑to‑action to join Rob.team via the rob.team URL and contact support for assistance.

Wow, will Donald Trump fire Elon Musk? So there's some breaking news just coming out that Trump's winding Elon Musk in, reining his neck in, and they're both really strong characters, and maybe we're seeing the crack starting to appear. So what's been happening is Elon Musk's come into the government with his Department of Government Efficiency, DOGE, and publicly open source exposing what he deems is all this wild wastage. Not just been showing it, but calling it out as outrageous and scandalous and criminal in some instances. And he's been pushing the secretaries, the heads of states, the senior secretaries in American government to get these costs slashed. And so they've clashed. And now Trump has said, Musk, you can come in and advise. But the decisions of cost cutting is from my secretaries, not from you. So this is quite a move because it looked like Trump and Musk were sort of like brotherly love. I don't know if you saw Elon Musk's tweets, but he's basically in love with Donald Trump. He's been given absolute free rein, it seems, to come in and not just slash but expose all previous government spending. Um, meanwhile, Trump's banging his fist on the Oval Office desk, kind of some perceive as bullying, um, but certainly making bold decisions. Public arguments with Zelensky, pulling the funding for Zelensky, increasing all these trade tariffs, bish, bash, bosh, smash. And I think a lot of people, including myself, felt that he's being really decisive and making some bold moves. And even people who weren't Trump fans before, I think, really respected that. But then it all changed last week. Where it looked like maybe Trump and Putin were siding. It looked like Putin's now got the upper hand of negotiation with Ukraine. Zelensky had to apologize and humble himself to Trump. Trump's pulling all this funding and increasing all these tariffs. And it feels like we're getting closer and closer to World War III. Yeah, someone said killing the stock market. Forget all the other things like the crypto volatility, the stock market volatility, your emotional volatility. And now he's like reining in Elon Musk saying, whoa, whoa, it's my secretaries that make the decision on spending cuts, not you. And Trump and Musk are both Highly dominant people, and I don't imagine either of those are going to back down on, you know, Musk's way is clearly slash everything, slash all the costs till it breaks and then rebuild it up. And that's what he did with Twitter, didn't he? Just came in, fired 80% of the staff. He wants to fire 80% of the government. He wants to slash all the spending. Now, I can see the upside of that because obviously governments are renowned for wastage. It's not their own money. They're renowned for bureaucracy, red tape. You know, they're renowned for being controlled by big corporations and donations and funding. They're renowned for all of this. So what I saw Elon Musk do, I was like, wow, this is great. But now Trump's like, 'Elon, no. My heads, my secretaries decide where we spend or save the money, not you.' And maybe the cracks are starting to appear. And with all the, you know, arguing over Ukraine and Europe and Russia and America, this is crazy-ass shit. It really is. So did you see this news? What do you think about it? Do you think we're going to see a locking of horns with Trump and Musk? I run a business I have for nearly 20 years. And I see that keeping costs down is really important. But I also see if you slash costs too much, you lose the culture, people leave, you lose the quality. A lot of people think you can't just come in and slash the to spend because, you know, these services need money. Musk's the opposite in a way. He's like, slash everything that's wastage and then, and then build it back up slowly. Um, and he's ruthless with that. And the guy's worth $400 billion, so you've got to say he knows what he's doing. Anyway, it reminds me that you need to figure out where you're wasting money. Um, because there's two ways to kind of survive or even thrive through this potential World War III coming, potential stock market property crash, potential economic crash. I mean, the UK's in a really poor economic way, and, um, it, and it's going to get a lot worse, I think, before it gets better. So there's two things you can do about this. Now let's put it on you and what you can do. Because no politician or party is going to save you. You can either make so much money that none of this matters, or you can figure out where you can slash your spending or your expenses and get that down. Now, what most people do is, oh well, I don't want to cancel Netflix, I don't want to cancel my gym subscription, I don't want to go down KFC and lick people's fingers for food, you know, and they haven't got enough things to cut. Except you have. Do you know what your biggest expense is? Because it's not your mortgage, it's not your loans, it's not your car— it's your tax. So if you can figure out a way to get your tax bill down, you're probably saving half of your expenses or more. You know, if you're a business, it's 20% VAT, it's 25% corp tax, 39% dividend tax, 15% um, on national insurance, you've got business rates, blah blah blah. When you save a pound in tax, you save up the whole pound, and you're not nickel and diming over, um, subscriptions and Netflix and food and saving £5 a month here, there, and everywhere, and, you know, not being able to drink coffee or have lunch. So your tax is your biggest expense. This is why right now I'm really excited about this. It's the first time we've ever done this in 19 years, but we have a full tax-saving masterclass now live and uploaded onto Rob.team. Now it can't be free because the information is too valuable, um, and you know, not every accountant agrees with it, although I've got sign-off, um, but I could do the next best thing and I can give it to you within, in, inside the Rob.team membership. Rob.team is my, um, my global money school to help you make, manage, and multiply more money, build multiple streams of income, get your tax bill down and your income streams up. Less than I've spent on coffee in a day is a monthly subscription for you. But breaking news right now, based on what's going on in the world, there is now an 8-hour full masterclass on getting your tax bill down. You know, the Tax Savers Masterclass, and it's now uploading. It's all live inside rob.team. You can get immediate access. So to join in on this, all you need to do is join Rob.team by typing Rob.team into any web page. Rob.team. Rob.team. Gosha says she's already in Rob.team and it's awful. Awful. Great. And this new tax saving masterclass is from one of my top two accountants. And, um, I've got two accountants I use who've saved me many millions in tax with legitimate offsettable tax saving strategies which are allowable by HMRC, which are created by the Inland Revenue. You just need to know how it works. Carl said, how long will the Tax Saving Masterclass be available? Well, honest answer is I'm not sure because, um, tax strategies get updated all the time, um, and I don't ever want it to look out of date. And also, this really should be one of my £700 online courses because normally I do sort of these 8 to 15 hour online masterclasses, uh, and I put them on my main website, robmoore.com, and they're about £700 each. Um, but I'm including this in your Rob.team membership. I can see the numbers dropping a lot, which means people are going to the page. The link is rob.team, R-O-B dot T-E-A-M. There's no risk to you because you can cancel anytime, no ongoing subscription. It costs less than 20 pence a day, it's half the price of Netflix. Um, so yeah, and any questions or logistics or information, just email support@robmoore.com. .com. Fred, like, likewise, if you want to email support@robmooore.com if you've got any questions, we'll help you. But go join right now on the link. Um, this has been years in the making. You know, our tax masterclasses that we've ever run in person are, you know, upwards of £1,000, and many of our masterclasses are £3,000, you know, because it's specific tactical information that you usually can't share. But I've managed to get my accountant to come in and he's covered the sort of 12 main areas where you can save tax. Many of them are actually quite simple. It's just you've been confused by the government and HMRC. I mean, people get scared as well, when in reality it's just, this is the strategy, this is what you can do, here's the line, this is what you can't. But most of the tax that you're paying is unnecessary. And many of the things that you're paying for personally after tax, you could be paying as a business expense before tax. And the golden rule is if you pay before tax, it saves you, it saves you half. And if you pay after tax, it costs you half. That's the basic kind of rule, if you like. In fact, Mark said to me, my business partner, he said, no, Rob, it's not that. It's 63%-ish tax. You know, when you paid your corporation tax and your income tax, what you've got left. So, um, what's the point in going and making a few more grand if you're giving 50 or 63% or more of that immediately to the government? What's the point? So in light of Elon Musk slashing costs and Trump reining him in, it reminded me that, you know, you're, you're trying to slash your costs of gym membership and Netflix and food and coffee and lunch, and you're trying to get by because the cost of living crisis has gone wild. And it's the wrong place to focus. The best place to focus is getting your tax bill down because it's the most amount of money that you can save. So the, um, Dosha said my accountant is fab. The link to join rob.team is rob.team. I may take this tax saving masterclass out. Certainly when taxes change, we'll have to take it out because we'll have to re-record it. So grab it right now. Like I said, it's a £700 online course. And you're getting it for less than 20 pence a day. Cancel anytime, no ongoing contract. And there are hundreds of hours in there worth of courses, resources, masterclasses to make, manage, and multiply money and build multiple streams of recurring income. You know, we do monetizing social media, turning your content into cash flow, starting your business, how to hit 3 grand a month, 5 grand a month, 10 grand a month and beyond. Um, and there's specific business models and tactics and guest mentors. All in Rob.team. So the link is rob.team. Make sure you save your biggest expense and don't nickel and dime yourself. And what do you think about Donald Trump reining in Elon Musk, saying, 'It's my secretary's decision on where we slash money, not yours, Elon Musk. You will advise, we will decide'? I'll see you in Rob.team.
