In this impassioned YouTube rant, the speaker denounces Wimbledonâs decision to bar Russian and Belarusian tennis playersâspecifically Daniil Medvedev and Aryna Sabalenkaâfrom competing at the tournament and other UK grassâcourt events. The speaker argues the ban is unfair, discriminatory, and harmful to athletes who have no personal involvement in the Ukraine war. They cite statements from the ATP and the womenâs governing body (WTA) that label the move as a damaging precedent and a violation of rankingâbased entry rules. The rant expands to critique broader sanctions on Russia, emphasizing the collateral damage to innocent Russian citizens and questioning the efficacy of such measures in stopping the conflict. Throughout, the speaker urges viewers to comment, share, and rally against the ban, framing it as a moral issue and a threat to British cultural values of openness.

Wow, Wimbledon have just banned Russian and Belarusian tennis players from playing at Wimbledon. Wow, wow, wow. So I don't know what you think about this, but I think that is disgracefully unfair on those players. Those players, to my knowledge, have nothing to do with the war. They're professional sports players. They're innocent people, and yet they've been banned from playing in the biggest tennis tournament that there is. Imagine if you are Daniil Medvedev, Aryna Sabalenka. You know, you're ranked number 2, number 4 in the world, and the thing that you want to do, that you've committed your life to do is to play at Wimbledon, and you've been banned because your country is having a war, not completely against your will and nothing to do with you. This is outrageous, outrageously unfair. So the players have also been banned from any of the UK grass court tournaments. Now Come on, UK. Like, I think this makes the UK look bad. We should be welcoming these top sports people. We shouldn't be banning really great Russian and Belarusian sports stars from playing in our country and getting them embroiled in big old war and political issues. It's nothing to do with them. It's freaking unfair. Let me know what you think in the comments. So there's some statements here, but the governing bodies of men's and women's professional tennis said the move was unfair. The men's body, the ATP, said it could set a damaging precedent for the game. It could. Um, the women's body said it's very disappointed. The ATP said discrimination based on nationality also constitutes a violation of our agreement with Wimbledon that states that player entry is based solely on ATP rankings. What's going on in the world? This is not fair. Now look, most people have been talking about Ukraine, and obviously there's massive sympathy for Ukraine and what's gone on there. But there's a lot of innocent people in Russia as well, and a lot of people who don't want to be involved in this war. And you know, these sports people, this is their living. Now all right, some people might say they make millions and whatâ This is their living, this is their dream, this is what they do their wholeâ they've wanted to do their whole life, and they've been banned from the biggest sporting event just because of Russia. I mean, how is that actually going to make any difference in Russia? As if Russia are going to go, oh, okay, well, we've had a couple of tennis players banned from Wimbledon, we're going to stop the war. It's not going to make any freaking difference. Shame on Wimbledon or whoever decided to do this. I think it's disgraceful. I don't think this represents the British culture. I think we should be welcoming all the Russian and Belarusian sports stars into our country and allowing them to compete and supporting them. Let me know what you think in the comments. This really fucking pisses me off. It's really wrong. Hit the share button. Let's make sure that everyone knows about this, because is anyone now in Russia not going to be able to do anything? Because whilst all these sanctions of finances in and out, and all these big companies that now no longer offer products and services in Russia. What about the millions of innocent Russian people? Because there are millions of innocent Russian people. What's happening to them? Whatâ all the job losses in all these companies that have pulled out, and all this pressure for the companies to pull out. It's just It's going too far. It's not going to make any difference either. Daniil Medvedev and Aryna Sabalenka being banned from Wimbledon are not going to stop the fucking war. What are we doing, Britain? Come on. Wimbledon, the institution, the global institution of Wimbledon, you're embarrassing yourself. I actuallyâ I don't know who's made this decision, so maybe it's notâ I mean, if it's banned from Wimbledon, you'd expect it's Wimbledon, but I can't say for sure. But let me know what you think. Hit the share button because this is freaking wrong, and we should all stand up for what's freaking wrong. And just because it doesn't affect us, it does affect us, and there are a lot of innocent people here who are not getting help and support. So if you're just tuned in, uh, this has pissed me off. Um, the Wimbledon and Belarusian tennis players have been banned from Wimbledon. I think it's freaking wrong. I think it's unfair. It does set a damaging precedent for the game, which is theâ the ATP have said, um, and it is discrimination and it is wrong. And what about these people? And now if tennis stars are getting banned, what about football players? What about all the other sports? Well, are they not going to be able to make a living? Sorry, can't make a living because your country is invading another. Well, if I got banned from making a living because my country was at war against my will, I'd be thoroughly fucked off. It's not right. Let me know what you think in the comments. Hit the share button because we need to speak up on this shit, otherwise nothing's going to change. Quick rant, over and out.
