Your Parents Failed You With Money. Do NOT Make These Same Mistakes ⛔️

In this YouTube monologue, Rob Moore argues that the conventional money advice passed down from parents—saving pennies, taking out long‑term mortgages, and working toward a traditional retirement—is a form of indoctrination driven by banks and governments. He claims money is abundant, citing the massive global money supply and the profit‑making nature of central banks and commercial banks, and warns that treating money as scarce leads to poor financial outcomes. Moore criticizes savings accounts as a low‑return trap that merely funds banks, urging listeners to view saving only as a discipline for investing. He then shifts to parenting advice, recommending that children should not receive pocket money for chores, but instead be paid for work, charged rent, and even taxed from a young age to instill financial independence and entrepreneurial mindset. To support this education, Moore promotes his platform Rob.team, offering a heavily discounted subscription (about 20 pence per day) that provides free access for users under 18, along with hundreds of hours of courses, masterclasses, and a forthcoming homeschooling series. He also references his credentials—author of the best‑selling UK book “Money” and “Money Matrix,” mentorship by wealthy individuals, and an upcoming £700 Money Mastermind University course—to establish authority. Throughout, he emphasizes breaking the cycle of outdated financial beliefs, leveraging abundant money opportunities, and equipping the next generation with practical financial skills.

Your parents failed you with money. Do not make these same mistakes. This is not your parents' fault. This is indoctrination from banks and governments. But your parents were propagandized, save the pennies. Work hard, get a good job, buy a house, get a mortgage, pay it off by the time you're 55, retire when you're 55. No, 60. No, 65. No, 70. No, 75. Do you now know the retirement age is 187? Do you now know there are 35-year mortgages, which means people under 30 are going to have a mortgage beyond the retirement age? This is wild. I do not want you to make the same mistakes your parents hypnotized you about money, and you need to break the patterns that have been created over centuries, actually, of systemized central banks and governments' control. And I'm not being all, all Matrix, Matrix. It's just the reality. The central banks are a profit-making machine and entity. Banks are not a public service. Banks are a for-profit organisation. So mistake number 1 your parents made with you around money that you must protect your kids from is money's really hard to come by, or it's really scarce, or they say save the pennies, save the pennies. Save? Delay? No. There are probably $100 trillion or more. I think it was $56 trillion when I wrote my book Money, of money in the economy. Then if you think now of all the crypto, if you add in all the gold and physical assets, add in all the real estate, add in all the quantitative easing and money printing, money is abundant. Money doesn't actually buy anything. Exchanging your time and creating value is stored in money that you can then spend. So actually money comes from exchanging your time for something valuable and useful. So if you create more value and use, being valuable, then money will flow your way. Money will come from places and spaces you never even knew existed. So the next thing they say is, 'Save your money.' Well, I call savings accounts degradings accounts because let's say interest rates are 5%, you get 1.5% in your savings account, they lend you money at 8% or 9%, and they lend the money that you give them in savings. Well, of course they can just create their own out of thin air as well. So saving money is only good for the discipline of waiting to invest. Make a note of that. Saving money is only good for the discipline of waiting to invest. You shouldn't save your money. Saving your money will not make you rich. It never will. All it'll do is give money to central banks and governments, because essentially it's you lending them money without getting paid for it. So your parents didn't know what they didn't know, but believe you me, you need to break this pattern, otherwise you're going to teach the kids, your kids the same thing. I do not believe you should be giving your kids pocket money for chores they should already be doing. I do believe you should encourage them to work under the age of 18 in a safe environment. I do believe you should encourage them to start their own side business because You know, the great thing about the young kids now, maybe the crypto kids, the e-com kids, the social media kids, is they don't know all the programming of this generation. And therefore, they know they can start a business quickly. They know they can reach customers across the globe on social media. They believe being an entrepreneur is kind of cool. So actually, they've got quite a lot of— we have to do a lot of unlearning in these older generations that the kids don't have to do. So all these fear-based scarcity— save your money, hoard your money, money is scarce, save the pennies— you need to let go of so you don't essentially pass this disease on to your kids. This is why, by the way, in Rob.team I'm launching a homeschooling series for kids under the age of 18 where I'm essentially going to do an online degree on better financial education and knowledge because this is my global personal vision. And even better news is all kids under the age of 18 go free in Rob.team with your login, with their parents' login. So if you'd like to get your kids in for free to my digital financial freedom platform that helps people start and scale a business, make, manage, and multiply money, create multiple streams of recurring income, get your tax bill down, get your income streams up, launch that start business or side business, I recommend you join Rob.team right now for you, and then your kids can go free on your login. It's really easy to join, you just type in Rob.team. Rob.team. Rob.team was 5 times as much as it is now before lockdown, and I reduced it down by 80% to help people through difficult times. And I haven't put the price up yet. I will be putting the price up as soon as I launch V3 of the platform. So get in at an 80% discount. It's less than what? I think it's about 20 pence a day. It's nothing. You can cancel anytime. No ongoing contract. And there's hundreds of hours of courses, resources, and masterclasses to help you start and scale a business, get better financial education and knowledge, dehypnotize yourself from the propaganda of the the central banks and the governments and the big corporations that control the world. I'm not judging them, they're just using their power and leverage. If you could get your tax bill down and you could afford good accountants, you'd of course do the same. So I'll teach you how to do that in Rob.team. You know, if you knew how to get millions of customers, you would do it. If you knew how to control policy and legislation, you would do it. I'm not judging, I'm just saying that the system isn't built for you. Banks aren't a public service. Banks are profit-making organisation. You know, I wrote the book Money Matrix. I wrote the UK's best-selling book on money called Money. So I cover a lot of content, hundreds of hours of courses, resources, and masterclasses on making, managing, and multiplying money. So if you join Rob.team right now, you're going to get that 80% off. So it's one-fifth of the pre-lockdown price before I put it up. Less than 22 pence a day. Cancel anytime. No ongoing contract. Your kids can use your logins and go for free. I'm going to be doing a homeschooling series on better financial education and knowledge for our kids to educate and inspire the next generation, to help them start their side hustles, to help them learn better how money works, to help them invest rather than save, control their own money rather than give the power of their money over to governments and central banks, which, you know, most parents have already done that. They're already trapped. Help them pay themselves first and pay tax last. Oh, by the way, I'm joining right now. I've got, I've actually got an adult's Money Mastermind University. So 16 hours of content I recorded for a, to create a £700 online university course. It's actually just being edited. The content's done, just needs the thumbnails and a couple of little bits clipped and cut and joined. And my tech team are doing that. It's actually in rob.team right now. So if you go in and join rob.team right now, you can get that before I take it out and sell it separately as a £700 course. Just type in rob.team, rob.team, into any web page and you can join. There's no risk and you can cancel any time. Not that you'd want to, but I'm on a mission to help as many people on this planet get better financial knowledge. I was fortunate 18 years ago to be mentored by some very wealthy people who taught me about, you know, how the banking and money system works. Which obviously the banking and money system don't want you to know how it profits from you. Why would it want you to know that? So it doesn't teach you that. It teaches you what it wants you to do that makes it money. Get a job, pay taxes, get loans for cars and houses and conservatories, and get a pension and save your money with us. And these are all really outdated concepts now. So let me just remind you one more time that you need to be very careful that you are carrying your parents' indoctrination around money. That it's scarce, that it's hard, that there's not much, that you have to work hard for it, that you have to save your pennies, that saving is good. These are all outdated concepts. I believe you shouldn't be giving your kids pocket money for chores they should be doing anyway. And I believe you should be paying your kids to do work from as young an age as as is appropriately possible. I also believe you should be taxing them. I believe when— I believe you should be charging them rent for living in your house. Probably not at age 7, but maybe from age 15 they should be paying rent. Maybe when you pay them, they should be paying some tax. Because this is how the world works. And, you know, I'm not a parenting guru. I do have 2 kids. Parenting is hard. But one thing I really want to do as a commitment to being a parent is teach my kids how the world is. I don't want to overprotect them so that the world will beat them up, and I obviously don't want to overly make it hard for them so that they get beaten up. I want them to know what the world really is like, and the world is amazing and beautiful and abundant, and the world is also dangerous and violent if you are not independent and strong. So currently, right now, you're charged about 70% of your earnings and spendings in tax. So why would you just pay your kids and not tax them? Currently you're paying rent or a mortgage, so why would you let your kids live in your house until they're 25 or 30 and not charge them rent? You're just teaching them to be dependent on the system. I do not want to teach my kids to basically end up going on the dole and on benefits or expecting when they get in the real world, oh well, daddy will just look after me, they'll just give me money. No. No. If I can teach my kids that money is everywhere and it's abundant and all you have to do is provide something of value to someone else and you can get paid for it no matter where you are and no matter what it is. And then if you always do more than you're paid to do, you'll always get paid more than you were told you'd be paid. If you want to— no matter what you do, if your service is impeccable and if you really want to be useful and valuable to people, you'll always get paid. You'll always find work. 'But you will have to pay tax, so you might as well learn that now.' 'And work is not necessarily going to be easy, and you're not going to be able to necessarily do all the work that you want to do.' If you teach your kids that stuff now, surely that's better than, 'Oh, here you go, here's your pocket money.' 'Oh yeah, let's go down the cinema.' If you take your kids down the cinema and buy them some sweets, let's say you buy them 10. Well, if the government bought you 10 sweets, it would nick 7 off of them. It would just tax you. So my kids, they get sweets, they get taxed. I take some of the sweets as a tax. Anyway, if you want your kids to go free on my money platform, my financial education platform, and my mission is to help as many people on this planet get better financial knowledge, just go join Rob.team right now for less than 20p a day and you can give them your login. Any kids under the age of 18, I won't do a Netflix. And, um, cancel everyone who's— yeah, you got your kids can join for free. Just type in rob.team. Let me just get the technical part. Your kids can take your login and log in under you, that we won't set them up another account. There's just no need, no need to do that. But there's hundreds of hours of courses, resources, and masterclasses. If you agree with anything I've said in here in just a few minutes, imagine what you can learn watching hundreds of hours of courses, resources, and masterclasses. The things that the system won't teach you about money, the things that your parents didn't know about money, the things you need to unlearn about money. How to make, manage, and multiply more money. How to get your tax bill down. How to get your income streams up. How to start your side hustle. What business to start. How to get rid of overwhelm. How to make sure that you aren't working for the system. Do you know 7 out of 10 hours that you currently work are for the government if you are employed, with everything that you earn and everything that you spend. It's a shocker. It's an absolute shocker. Anyway, I'll see you in Rob.team. Let me know what you think about my maybe contrarian thoughts on raising financially independent kids. No pocket money, do chores anyway, get them working early, tax them a bit, Charge them rent from a fairly young age, probably 15, while they're already in your house. Teach them that money is everywhere, that money is abundant. All they have to do is go and provide some value. Teach them to go and find some problems to fix. When they do something that they figure out and struggle through, reward them with money. When they ask for something and become entitled, make sure you don't reward them with money. That's called pocket money. Anyway, let me know what you think. Thanks for tuning in. And remember, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything.
