You are you Good morning. Good morning. Happy Monday morning to you all. Good to see you. A lot of you guys on prayer call I love see people on prayer call. It's awesome. People just kink gun early or east coast that late time wise with things that going on. That's good see that hur ro man good to see you and want to officially acknowledge Roger for yes speaking engagement last week that he absolutely crushed had it all planned out like to the T timewise and Holy Spirit spoke and switched it all up and what I heard it was quite impactful. So yeah because there's a lot of black folks there. It was more like black conference and Roger I don't know if you Roger like the opinion not being black right. Maybe a little jealous I started a black church and yeah so good man you get credit to it back there. So today we are answering Revelation chapter 21 and they are almost out the book of Revelation 9th month of the year we started the book of Revelation the first week of January we had a where we paused for Revelation but we're also and preparing for this. I thought I would get through all of chapter 21 today. I don't think we will get through all chapter 21 today but Raj give me access to share screen real quick Silas okay here we go. All right those notes those kind notes there's every week we Revelation but I just want to bring you up to date with where we are when I hosted on social media last night the link if you haven't a part of the first 20 chapters with us to get cut up now with all things being made new in 21 but still here walks you through the time events obviously Jesus dies across as rest and then chapters one to three for the church age and I believe we're still in the church age today. We have been through history has fulfilled the first 69 weeks of Daniel's prophecy. We are still awaiting that 70th week which will be the seven year period. I believe the church is going to be raptured at the beginning of that but regardless when you say a rapture is going to be Revelation 6:18 is there's chapters on the tribulation and we see the seal judgments the judgments the judgments all throughout. We certainly see God's mercy on his people even those who disain him, even those who hate him, who oppose him, who reject him, not do him. There's mercy throughout tribulation and you see there's going to be revival during that time Christ during that time years of the tribulation and then last week we covered Revelation chapter 20 Jesus comes back in 19 the battle Armageddon. Right. We see that the beast from the lake of fire and then the devil himself he's not yet as to lake fire. He's bound in the abyss or the bottomless pit for a thousand years that we all the millennial reign of Jesus on earth and thousand years and going to be a beautiful time here on this earth. Us and our glorified incorruptible bodies. We are going to be coexisting and cohabitants of earth with those who not take mar the beast TR. Who were in their still moral bodies when Jesus returned worse and is where longevity life is going to be sheep and lions that fall together and play with snakes. Right. So it's going to be a pre bargain of Eden type environment on earth. And I realized that we didn't get it to I don't even mention it last week which is bad job in me. But when in Matthew 25 when Jesus talks about suffering sheep for the goats the sheep will eat those who enter the millennial kingdom and goats will not and they'll be drawn to lake fire at that time. So we have a thousand year Monday morning and ultimately Satan's bounds because nobody get a few past heaven, right? There's going to be a time where the enemy he's unlocked his unleash. There's one last attempt to deceive. There will be those who will see because which it's heart rateing but not surprising of course because we know hearts are are naturally weighted. But then ultimately brings us to chapter 21 and this is the history time is finished and history of eternity. So guys so stop sharing my screen into the chat. You said bring studies but also for this. I appreciate that man. All right so getting into the first eight chapters we're going to talk about discuss it up here. There's some fun conversations we have with this. I said even through all the chapters of master and all the bad stuff we read about chapter six we had heartbreaking conversations but fun thing I guess I don't know but this. This is where all are as it's really kind of a if you will English last kind like the this is where there's more evil, no more weakness. The new heaven and a new earth. So verse one of chapter 21 now I saw the eye being John. I saw a new heaven, the new earth, the first heaven, the first earth have passed away also there was no more sea. This idea of a new heaven, new Earth is not new to scripture. And sometimes people have a hard time come to terms with that. What heaven is now, what this earth is now is going to be destroyed, but it's going to be destroyed even greater right? So for those who are in presence of the Lord right now in heaven but ultimately he will be for all be eternity even greater than what it is now for those who would died in Christ now Isaiah 65, 17, 18 says for behold, I create Jerusalem as a rejoicing and her people a joy looking for hastening the coming of day of God which the heaven will dissolve being on fire and the elements will melt with fervent. Nevertheless we according to his promise look for a new heaven and a new earth with righteousness wells Now I don't want God today by means of the Lord, right? It's going to be fantastic room that you read about earlier in it's going to be there's going to be and jabbing and singing with the angels. Holy, holy, holy. It's going to be fantastic there by a long stretch of anything we see this side of here on earth new earth is even greater than that. And you know Paul says conceive right and description here but ultimately next verse there after that no it had been us with spirit. So even with the description it still takes almost like a spiritual imagination to understand just how great how awesome heaven actually now when God says it's a new heaven and new earth there's two words in the Greek for new one being naas right? The word that's used here is something new. But there's other things like it that exist is something that's completely new. There's nothing like it that's ever been created. So this is not much as our reforms heaven. This is a brand new heaven and earth that we're kind of the same word that's used for us when we become believers and we become a new creation. As Paul says in 2 Corinthians 5:17 and this way it weighs me my heart when somebody receive Jesus. And life is not for all because we are a absolute new creation. We're a new person, we have a new identity. So I'd rather be wants to measure somebody's salvation. But if somebody has an account there's no proof of that. And there's just that person hasn't really been sealed by the Holy Spirit. We are made absolutely new. I read you in Isaiah 65 prophetically that he will create a new heaven and new earth. That word create in the Old Testament is is Barak which Means to create something from nothing. Right. The same word is used in Genesis one month and then we came back. Create, heavens and the earth. There's some word used in Hebrew for create. Even when it says in Genesis that God formed man, it's not this far off because he formed man. Right. So he created man from something that he already created. But this new heaven, new earth, it stands alone. As far as I created it from nothing. It's not transformed, it's completely new. It's interesting. That kind of throws in there. He says it's the first earth heaven. There's new heaven, new earth. Then he's like there's no more sea. It's like, okay, there's more sea. And some people take that see the symbolic. We know that sea scripture can beat nations, oftentimes weak nations, but can you take it little at the same time. So if you enjoy being on cruises, if you enjoy going out on the lake, if you enjoy going to the beach. One thing that is moving from Jersey to Texas particular area a lot of water down there. However it still doesn't happen. You know some of those gate made with hotels. Yeah, right. Including the great, right, yeah, absolutely. Isaiah associates the sea with heathen. Right. So yeah, it certainly could be but it could just be as long a little further. Well this next week we will really get into the description of this new Jerusalem and what this looks like with walls in the foundation. There's no need for sun, moon or stars is plenty. So I just nice if on this new Jerusalem there's days that crash and we hear that even if you don't have itself somehow better than that now but this is a good point to make out other people wonder and the Bible is pretty silent on this is no, this is what are we going to look like? Right? What age will we be? There's going to be a universal age and oftentimes, you know, it's thought of in a weaving dial. It's not but we kind of guess and this is one thing that's somewhat fun to think about is what we're going to look like and what's it going to look like when the older ultimate are destroyed and how quickly will that happen? Praise absolutely could could be Now Augustine, he said that we all have a universal age of around 30. And what they're saying is Jesus at age 3, he died at age 33. So we're going to be elect Jesus. So we're going to be looking like we're about age 33. Numbers four establishes that you can enter the priesthood until age of 30. Right. Which is interesting because in Revelation 1:6, as well as here we are royal priesthood, right? We are kings of priest. So until the age 30 follows says that by the time the priest is 50, he has to retire. But if kings of priest may this eternity we will have the likeness of one who's 30 years old. What will babies and children look like? Who the age of 30? Sure, I saw he's 30 years old. 30, 33. And first king, second king of Israel, the third one started priests entered the priest until age of 30. And we're called kings of priests. Maybe this at age 30, I be quite right. But that age, because 30 is actually the age I got saved and I was born again. So for 30 it was best year my life. 30. So that's it. What we do know is that we're going to know each other even greater than we know each other now, right? There's going to be no marriage in heaven. But our relationships will be better. Like our relationship with Lucy will be even better now. So it's just interesting of what eternity might look like. We'll see it one day. We'll see it one day. And if you're not comfortable one day. All it takes is confession of faith. Jesus is Lord and believe. That's what gets golden. It's just simply by belief. Now, verse 2:4 says, then saw the holy city, New Jerusalem coming down out heaven from God, prepared as a bride adored for her husband. And I heard a voice from heaven saying, behold the tabernacle. And he will tell them. And they shall be his people. God himself will be with them and be their God. This is one of the best verses in the Bible. And God will wipe away every fear in their eyes. There shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crime. There should be more pain for the former things have passed away. That's beautiful. Nor death, nor crying more tears. Gosh, I just was reading the other day. I can tell you exactly where it is David Psalms that actually bottle up her tears, right? He cares about, he knows it. And he bottle those tears. And one day there was absolutely no more tears. Now, this is New Jerusalem. This is Hebrews 12:22, describes as the Jerusalem of hope. Galatians 4:26. Paul says, this is the Jerusalem above. And this is really where our citizenship is, right? When Paul says we're citizens of heaven. Yes, we're citizens of heaven now that we. We have our citizenship, right? So we are foreigners. We are pilgrims here on this earth. We're not supposed to. When you go to a foreign land. There's a lot for this. You stand out. You spent a lot of time traveling abroad. You stand out. You look different, you talk different, you sound different. That's what we are. Our citizenship in heaven. And you know if you are you should with the Lord is how much of how much I look like the world. God set me apart from the world. He plucks out and continues on day by day. And we get closer and closer to every single day. Every single day. You can form more and more through image every day that goes by. Hopefully. Right. That's a goal for Paul to do. And if we actually do that that life is br. We struggle at times. Of course. You know, there's times where we're not educated go to our time word. But that's the goal. Stay closer to be as on earth. How close can you get to Lord? That's where I want to be. I'm Ben still and through the house the last couple days. And it's just a beautiful, beautiful song. Despite who we are. God still loves us. Right? He still loves. He's still with us. And I felt pretty darn close to the Lord this morning. I feel pretty darn close now. Guess what? I can't knock that out. I'm continue to strive to grow closer and close with him. Excuse me. So this he says the new Jerusalem is prepared as born for her husband. The entry for for husbands. One of the greatest sights and one of the greatest public memories marked in our minds is that of when and we were standing far. And this is the best im God could use to describe how beautiful. How is beautiful when Lord the Lord like marrying shock me. That's how I at least right. But it's that beautiful saint of man is when he sees br on the day for the first time. And that's how he describes Jerusalem. So the expectation anticipation is and when we read about heaven every I am fully honest. Everything we read as we know and we think and our imagination of how great will be that has in heaven actually will be. Right. And says the tabernacle with men and he will with them. Right. We remember Moses tabernacle and Old Testament represent dwelling place of God. And that was a past representation of the dwelling place of God. This tabernacle of God is the reality of God's presence. The reality of it Third tabernacle Here is the Greek word and it's got the same brute as in where the word became flesh and dwelt among us. That's no that though it's the same idea that the word flesh has with us. And we call this glory, the glory as the only begotten truth. So we're actually going to be in God's presence forever. There's. We got to read that. There's no temple, right? There's no temple. We don't have to go anywhere. The temple, the Lamb himself and we not fully be in his presence. And this clearly explicitly expresses the desire of God, right? His desire. And man's purpose is for God to live in close fellowship with man and man purpose is to God, period. God's desires with us. And I kind of had this when my son, when. And I would count to say, here, here I come and here I am. And I'd be like, all right, and try to let me find you. And. And that's for like a year. I don't know. I don't know why break it. But I was looking at my son like I questioned like, what will my son is like. I don't know if it's a message to me. But we know that Luke 19 says that son of man came not as a day loss, but do seek. And they lost, right? So he's seeking us and game seek. It's a terrible game. Not want to end really quickly. When a person who's supposed to be sucked starts seeking the seeker, right? Start seeking seer image as he was. He was seeking seeker. And the Lord spoke me and said, that's why I desire you. I'm the seeker. Jesus can seek lost desire real fast, real quick. If you see the seeker, when you feel lost, when you feel depress, when you feel bad, if you see the er. No, he's always seeking. He's always now his desire is express right here is simply dwell and do life with his creation, with us. He wants. He wants. He desire that. And our purpose is to be a people divided to him. Our lives for him. That's his desire to be with us. Our purpose is to be a people said four things have passed away. So the new Jerusalem is distinguished by what it does not have. There's no. There's no tears, no sorrow, no death, no pain. That's remarkable. I see this year. I love it. I love it. I'll purchase the for everybody. This is Bible study, right? That there's no temple. So give me the idea that it's so great of what this new heaven is not there. They're trying to be a certain of it. So there's no temple. Jesus, right? Perfections is a perfect state for all of us. To be good for all of eternity. He says man comes into the world with cry and goes out with broom and all between is more or less in home with helpless dwelling. But Hallelujah is the renewed world voice of woe forever. You know what happens, right? We count. All right. And again, any of you even maybe had companies that were best quarters almost right? A lot of us counseling and issues usually stem all our stem from childhood that we had. There's some people that that issues they felt unloved. Their whole child were abused physically, emotionally. They threw it through this life. We are heaven here on earth. And now others into that kingdom you go through on earth. If you call Jesus, if you're sealed by the spirit, if you have the in well presence of God, then you have eternity to afford to. And this is it. Just because the radiance and glory of the Lord and his presence it just overwhelms us so much that we forget. I. I don't know but just these words are remarkable. Sorrow with tears and pain. Verse 5. And he said now we've heard, we've seen John things that he saw something very. We're all something. Sometimes he said I I saw something. And it was as like something it was very. There must symbols there. But we actually hear that the place of God here and says then he was at the throne said behold, I make all things new. And he said to me right, these words are true and faithful. Now I think the idea of God just being so overwhelmed along what he's seeing here, what he's hearing, God is bringing this download that that's that we're reading about 2,000 years later, right? He's giving us the word of God from God. And I kind of take this and for the throne, behold, I made all things new. Can you imagine being in shoes right now? I kind of get the impression that he was told to write these things, right? He's told right? And he just like he's like oh my gosh, these words are true and faithful. They're true and faithful. There's a lot of lies there, a lot on the earth. But God's word is true and faithful. Was being wet right now and he said to me, he who overcomes shall inherit all things. He shall be my son. Right now speaking directly to John and when he says I'm office new in the present tense. So he's saying right. What that is actually saying is I am making everything new. He is making everything new. That process of what we're reading that could be 10 years now. Be a thousand years now doesn't have new Jerusalem. God is currently he's making all things new whatever.
